Manager. me
Tactics. an entertaining, flowing, fast paced, pass and move game.
Ps for those that didn't make my starting 11, stick in because there are places up for grabs in the final!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope your not playing long ball. & going with 2 up front

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol1872 that is the best starting eleven for us this year. Number 6 no bad eh! I taught Baxter all he knew (one night in his pub at the bottom of Paisley Road West) I have to excuse myself I will be playing for Athletico Madrid at the weekend.
But I thought your dug was going to be the manager?
So 1-5 as you've listed 6 you or jaggy bunnet. 7-11 as you've listed with subs billyb, orkneyranger, tommyj79000 (comentators nightmare) leeboy12 and larkybear.
Larky would have been in the starting eleven but he disnae post much nowadays and there is concern over his state of mind. He's seen sense he's stopped going. We cannae have that you need to be mental to get in your dug's team. Whit's the dug's name again- oh aye Alastair?

Agree0 Disagree0

I must admit I feel very comfortable taking Ian Blacks place

Agree0 Disagree0

Always fancied myself as a no 10.
me and me mates have started a new game.

every long ball put in shots are taken.

we have 3 bottles (think that's enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 never mind a side for the scottish. Up that team could conquer Europe. Quality throughout and not 1 player out of position

Agree0 Disagree0

My pace will be an asset at no7 who is media director mr spiv

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha, nice line up bigcol. Keeper suits me fine. I always played up front but as the years have passed I've slowly moved further back. I reckon if you can find a place for Larky you'll already be doing more than Ally by giving youth a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

At 67, I'll fit seamlessly into Ally's dream team. Can't pass, can't run, weak of heart, long of ball, slow of wit, and according to my family, invariably out of position when needed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh dear, sorry guys, most flattered to be included in Ally's line-up at the age of 67, but will have to withdraw because my business colleagues say that on a god day I am strategically and tactically aware, which would clash with our playing philosophy. What you really need is a chap with long balls, and only one of them up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok the dug has decided to drop senior London bear and replace him with larky. I did forget to put the formation so we will be playing a 4, 2, 4. I think with that line up it would be criminal not to let Youz loose. ally take note.
P. s. the first one to hit a 50 yard hump up the park is aff!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol you and your dug are tactical genius'es. I have been analysing your selections and your going for the old Rangers way of making us hard to beat.

The fastest man on the park 65 year old lbj d sprints down the right wing and pops his latest hip replacement in our first attack.

67 year old Senior London Bear launches into a 10 yard lung bursting jog and collapses on the ground with a collapsed lung.

His substitute 63 year old billyb then keels over with his angina.
The 60 year left half who cannae count 4 2 4 and thought we were playing 2 3 5 drops to his knees when his suspect heart valve leaks.

Now the clever bit there will be that many iron lungs, defibulators, oxygen tents, ambulances and stretchers there is just no way they will be able to score.

Bigcol I salute you- they shall not pass.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - What the hell is a left half?)

Aw FFS even BigColl won't give the youth a chance!
Il just slice up the oranges & handout the lucozades will a boys? Best thread on this site for years brilliant!

Agree0 Disagree0

Pmsl!left half was a bit before my time too ed. yes my thinking was utd would have been to pre occupied giving cpr to youz more experienced players that larky and ed could sneak a couple when the wernt looking. ye have got tae love the banter!

Agree0 Disagree0

@ ED Whit?- 2 - 3 - 5 = two full backs Shearer ( right back) and Caldow (left back) three half backs Greig (right half), MacKinnon ( centre half )and Baxter (left half) Right winger or outside right Wee Wullie Henderson Inside Right Ian McMillan, Centre Forward Jimmy Miller Inside Left Ralphie Brand outside left or left winger Davie Wilson.
In your modern parlance the half backs were sort of midfielders but classified as defenders although the likes of Baxter was more of a constructive attacking midfielder.
Ah them were the days youngun.

That's the beauty oft tinternet- free education for the young

Agree0 Disagree0

Larky bear. through fan pressure I've drafted you in so don't let me and the dug doon! Senior london bear can take over your chores of the energy drinks and oranges. if any body is good at rubs let me know. preferebly femalez!

Mind u after 15 mins big coll woulde be shouting come in no7 your times up

If mccoist wins on Saturday & wins the cup he should still leave at the end of the season.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He won't win either

Agree0 Disagree0

Win the cup f f s wel get beat about 5 nil on saturday

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think we will win on Saturday, I want mccoist to go, he might just sneak it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Macoist couldnae win tetley cup where is the karoke on saturday night after another glorious debacle where he will say we know how far we've come and need some more players to beef up the squad for the championship progress has not been as good as he had hoped but neverthe less his job is as safe as ever the mans ego knows no bounds the mans head is stuck that far up his backside he can't see the the reality of the situation and how many supporters have turned there backs on him its only a matter of time till the cries for his head will reach such a height the board will have to act but by the time that happens the damage could be virtually irrepairable

season tickets up by 50 pound. disgrace as usual the fans have to pay so spibs can get their bonus from us persons oops sorry meant to say fans. they rip the heart out of our club and we have to pay to get our beloved team back to where we should be.

Anyone see the article in the sun by Bill Leckie? quite rightly slating all the under performing rangers players and reporting that Cribari is £8000 a week with Ian Black on 10,000 a week? Any truth in it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't give them the money then simple mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Op the board would be TAKING there bonus wiether books went up by a pound they are only here for as much money as they can get stuff the support is there motto

Hi guys,

Forgetting our managerial situation for a moment and the debacle at the weekend. Put yourself in charge. We need to improve who we have in our team without increasing costs. If you had to lose players and bring 5 in who would you select?

here's mine!

Out-
Simonsen,
Cribari,
Perry,
Hutton,
Peralta,
Shiels

In-
Craig Gordon (short term contract)
Gavin Gunning/Shaun Hutchison
Kenny McLean
Kris Boyd

The only reason I haven't got rid of Black is I don't think we can lose Hutton, Black and Peralta all at once.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would get rid of Black before Hutton. Other than that I agree with your post

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep shiels, think he would do a turn if played,

Agree0 Disagree0

Young Danny Handling from hibs is available on a free transfer at the end of the season, exciting young prospect with a big future, him and Maclean from St Mirren would do nicely.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep Sheils and Hutton but add Black to the list. Not sure about some of the ins though but any player joining us seems to get worse anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Get a grip guys, you really believe any decent targets would sign for us under current board and manager. Sad days.

Who thinks Rangers need a new right back? Richard Foster and Sebastian Faure are still good but there's still more mistakes than usual from them. We will also need 1 or 2 new strikers because the Championship will be tougher if we already have a taste from Raith Rovers! And for the Dundee United game, David Templeton, Andy Little and Lee Wallace are all most likely out!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Isnt rb where peralta plays for honduras? Aye let's try it ally?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers do not need a new RB, we have a boy Halkett who has consistently performed for the u20's every week, give the boy a chance we have nothing to lose.

Agree0 Disagree0

What's wrong with giving McCausland a run? He's looked good when given the chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Did I read the op right!foster and faure good. you. are. havin. a. laugh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yip hilarious must be on the drink both are rank

Watching the interview with the 'special' one after the PSG game last night made me think how drained he looked. He looked as if he had played about a half dozen games and was so passionate about his team. The comment he made about when things were not quite going for you was particularly interesting, ''We had trained during the week on three systems that we could adopt if this situation arose. ''
Says it all about what we lack---- obviously Mourinho is way beyond us but someone that prepares for each game is not.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He also has mult-million pound players to work with we have players who were out of contract and youth players big difference
r. f

Agree0 Disagree0

It's hardly an excuse to be fair RF - coaches for kids teams train to adapt if things aren't going well. We will never be in Chelsea's position again but we do deserve better

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf if u count what we pay players compared to the other teams in the league it amounts to multi million players compared to rest of teams we play josie thinks and sets his teams out to play a system that's suits but at any given time can change he system we use kick the ball and run and doesent work we head the ball and run if all that fails we kick the ball harder and run

I can't believe some people are upset that leigh griffiths disgusting chants has been headline news. Can you imagine if a rangers player had been captured on video singing about the famine song. It will be interesting to see how the spfl and sfa proceed with this. He not the first celtic player to sign this song - riordan? - if they don't throw the book at him then they are showing that they condone his racist remarks. The worlds watching you spfl - make your move.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oh good, some mock PC outrage to distract ourselves with with.

You sound like the Celtic fans bumping their gums about noise during the minute's silence for Nelson Mandela.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would say we have enough problems of our own to worry about somebody elses when u have players wanting paid for functions and a manager whose team loses a cup final with an abysmal performace then goes singing at karokes and players who bet agaist there team results we definetly cannot talk

Agree0 Disagree0

another song ally long ball could of been singing "getting away with it all messed up" by james

Anyone think we should play Gasparotto/Hegarty CB and Halkett RB to keep up with the pace of united's attack?

Agree0 Disagree0

Op don't think the strikers we have are the problem its management, as for gaspo and co. Why not,
allys gone if we lose I really believe this so its really his last shout.

Agree0 Disagree0

Myself and many many supporters have been crying out for youth to be given a chance but like everything else about macoist it falls on deaf ears he is so far out of touch with the fans he says he does not fear for his job that speaks volumes of his conceited attitude and the way eveything that he does is only for his own ends
