Anyone else think mcburnie would get a part in the lion witch and the wardrobe as a, is it a minator? Like his head and torso amd arms but the body of a goat or horse?

Well a dae.

08 Oct 2020 22:58:52
Just don't see a 18 million pound player there.

09 Oct 2020 00:17:21
18 million for mcburnie? Jack, best on the pitch. If he was in England, he'd be 30 million easy.

09 Oct 2020 07:25:46
Blue tinted glasses. McGinnis and McGregor best on park.
Mcburnie shocking.

09 Oct 2020 08:21:33
What I did see was Bitton's tackle on Jack, could have put him out for a few weeks.

09 Oct 2020 09:34:20
John mcginn was best player on the park, only one who tried to drive forward. Snd dear god, stephen o'donnell must be blackmailing steve clarke, worst player I've ever saw in a scotland shirt. Absolutely honking.

09 Oct 2020 10:06:53
Thought Big Cooper had a cracking game.

09 Oct 2020 13:23:57
Cooper was decent sweep. Still can't believe o Donnell makes a squad let alone gets a game.

08 Oct 2020 22:10:15
I'm reading a horror story in braille something scary is going to happen I can feel it.

08 Oct 2020 22:35:36
Honestly. See during that penalty shoot out. A don’t think Av ever been so disinterested abt anyhin in awe my days. Only watching because me neighbour came round. Think a feel
Asleep twice. Then he continues to celebrate pen while a sit with absolute zero emotion. But he’s away happy that’s the main thing. 🤷‍♂️.

08 Oct 2020 23:06:36
Shouldnt have your neighbour in your house 🙈🙈.

09 Oct 2020 00:30:10
Herewego- no need to worry, he brought a big carry oot, so all is hunkydory!

09 Oct 2020 07:26:44
Good social distance fgs.

09 Oct 2020 07:37:14
And everybody wonders why the challenge rate is running out of control. Literally, I've been in the house, out for exercise, in 5 or 6 shops since March and that's it. I haven't been to a cafe, a pub or a restaurant. I'm 63 and in good health but who do you think is going to catch the virus? That's right, it will be me and all because the minority of people are openly flouting the rules. Apologies for the rant. Pissed aff!

09 Oct 2020 13:27:02
I'm the same seeker, only 39 but apart from work and shopping etc I'm never out. Havent saw some of my family, including my dear old gran who's 98, for months, and folk are having the neighbours round to watch the scotland game.

09 Oct 2020 17:08:16
Well am 41 year old type 1 diabetic and think it is a load of rubbish your being told. Your falling for scare tactics. Not my problem. You stay in, worry about the big bad plandemic while your immune system levels drop so you do catch anything about. Hand on heart would be quite happy to take the big scary bug so my body can learn to fight it.
You sheep can stay in and listen to boris who doesn’t know his own guidelines or jimmy krankie up here lol. It’s actually comical u are listening to the drivel they are telling ye. While your are in the house tomoz night scared to go do what you want to do as part of your human rights. I will be out with a few mates celebrating him getting married. 🤷‍♂️ Wish you all the best but I and plenty others ain’t sitting about like sheep. 👍. Get yourself out and enjoy your life as best you can.

09 Oct 2020 17:40:27
How you going to do that was the boozers shut? Whether we agree with it or not it's the law. U can't say I'd take it and just think that's ok surely? What about the people u could potentially infect, your endangering people lives you screwball.

09 Oct 2020 19:03:17
I never said I would gladly take it but walk abt. Obviously I would self isolate and let my body fight against it. But while I don’t have it and the rest of my amigos are showing no signs the. We will celebrate my mates stag night.

09 Oct 2020 19:05:11
Agree 100% herewego. 12thman, I'd be concerned if I were diabetic as the virus seems to affect people with this condition and/ or overweight. I get that people want to try and live as full a life as they can, but we really need to screw the nut here and just be sensible. This thing won't be beaten until we all start pulling together. I've done everything by the book and will continue to do so. You can't do much about the bams unfortunately (i'm not saying you're a bam, 12thman btw. I know by your posts you are an educated man) . Hate preaching to anyone but please everybody be vigilant and stay safe 👍.

09 Oct 2020 19:28:22
Seeker. I appreciate your words also. But like every other virus we bend to get it so our body can learn to fight it. I took my flu jab the other day. Not because I’m scared or was advised but purely based on the nurse at the docs is my cousin and she caught me on the hop lol. The fact they need a test to tell if you have it or not but it’s thT serious it will kill you is laughable. If we lock ourselves in and be scared to go out it’s ain’t going to help you either. In fact it’s causing people to commit suicide in some cases. The government should have done what they are doing the now at the start. They have no clue and they are making it up as they go along. Your joy going to sit ther and tell me
Your not slightly confused with the the guidelines regarding a cafe and a restraint lol or what different. It makes if you have a coffee or a pint. It’s comical. I’m not a party animal nor do I drink a lot but I ain’t going to let my mate who is getting married sit himself the weekend he due to get married and not are my friends. 👍👍.

09 Oct 2020 21:07:10
But you could be walking about with the virus infecting people before you have symptoms and know to take a test and isolate 👍 I agree we need to learn to live with it, but I'll go with the guidelines scientists and experts set before the conspiracy brigade mate, no offence meant.

09 Oct 2020 21:21:17
12thman 👍.

10 Oct 2020 00:09:33
I also listen to experts though mate. 2 sides to every story. Which one is right though. You continue to believe your end I will mine. It’s quite simple. Get on with it 100% agree on what it actually is or isn’t. Absolutey miles away. The truth always comes out in the end. 👍.

10 Oct 2020 00:12:57
Ps. It’s not a conspiracy. I have not mentioned a thing abt what the bigger pic is or what it maybe. All I have said is that it’s a flu which we need to get to learn how to fight it. 👍.

08 Oct 2020 21:30:03
So Wiltshire is claiming he's been fit for 8 months, so why isn't he playing regular football? Why aren't clubs scrambling for his signature? Why don't we give our youngsters or fringe players a chance, a much cheaper option.

09 Oct 2020 00:08:57
The stuck, IF rangers were to sign jack wilshere mate and he was fit and over his injuries, its an absolute NO brainer for me, that we'd have undoubtedly the best midfielder in scottish football. This guy is a fantastically very talented midfielder mate 👌It would be some coup if we could sign a player of the ilk of a FIT jack wilshere! What a signing that would be, as like i said he's on a different planet to any midfielder currently in scottish football 👍.

09 Oct 2020 00:22:31
Personally like i've previously stated, IF jack wilshere is fit and over his injuries he'd be a fantastic signing for us 👌Jack wilshere's traits as a midfielder is a very similar style to the greatest rangers midfielder imo ever, paul gascoigne, although not as good as gazza. The young jack wilshere while coming through at the arsenal was compared a lot to gazza albeit wilshere was a left footer. I heard numerous english football pundits at the time, saying jack wilshere was the new paul gascoigne, as their styles were very similar! So if fit, that's the type of midfielder we'd be acquiring 👍If it ticks all the boxes, get him signed if we can🙏.

09 Oct 2020 07:38:13
Doubt this is going to happen or it would already have.

09 Oct 2020 09:11:55
SGL, I'm not doubting his abilities, he would get injured in training then that would be it, over and out.

08 Oct 2020 21:06:13
Helander for me plays best in Europe and in the bigger domestic games when the defence sits a wee shade deeper, and the game is in front of him, reads the game well, katic maybe more suited to rough and tumble of spl.

08 Oct 2020 21:20:30
Big fill is our best defender.

08 Oct 2020 22:46:25
Correct re Phil. Bgate.

09 Oct 2020 07:39:16
Agree, he has been brilliant since coming back in.

09 Oct 2020 09:36:12
Big helander had pace he wouldn't be at us. Burst of pace away from being a top player.

08 Oct 2020 20:56:00
Looks like were playing for extra time and penalties--good strategy coach.

09 Oct 2020 07:20:18
Did you say that when Walter got us to the Europa league final with the same approach against the Italians?

09 Oct 2020 07:41:39
Showing your true colours sweep. So Do you think Clarke is the man for the job? Not that i give a flying f***
Comparing that jakey to the legend is unbelievable.

09 Oct 2020 09:20:57
We were playing Israel . How far have we fallen when we have to play for pens against a team like that?

09 Oct 2020 10:08:47
Not comparing coaches, Smith is far better but I'm comparing tactics, Walter used negative tactics more than once.

09 Oct 2020 19:09:11
Aye he did, but the teams we shut up shop against were the likes of Barcelona and Fiorentina better than us. How Walter managed to get the 2008 team to a European final was nothing short of incredible. By your logic you're assuming Clarke thinks Israel are better than Scotland.

08 Oct 2020 20:21:36
Watching this Scotland game and i'm nearly sleeping. International football is so boring. Remember Oli Mcburnie was linked with us just because he was a Rangers fan🤣 He is terrible. Its painful watching him Labour through this game.

08 Oct 2020 20:36:18
Even worse is listening to Naismith!

08 Oct 2020 20:53:04
Haven't watched any of it.
It is normally a celtic tribute act so no interest.

08 Oct 2020 22:13:35
It’s right up there way the worst game I have ever seen.

08 Oct 2020 19:57:36
Just saw Ryan Jack in side. Hope he comes through unscathed. Was in a decent mood until I saw that wee baldy rat whose name I shall not mention. Come on Israel!

08 Oct 2020 20:28:47
Come on Israel get a grip.

08 Oct 2020 23:07:55
Shocking post 👎.

09 Oct 2020 07:42:29
😂😂👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

09 Oct 2020 08:30:22
I knew I shouldn't have said "wee" 😂.

08 Oct 2020 17:23:53
John25, young McCrorie on loan at the sheep called into full national squad. Looking forward to my glass of red at Royal Troon.

08 Oct 2020 18:41:14
Great news for the lad and his family. Unfortunately he has no future with us.

08 Oct 2020 18:49:20
Bankie, young Mcrorie not good enough for Gerrard. Mcinnes is raving about him and is indeed playing really well. Now called into the national team.

08 Oct 2020 20:09:02
Mcrorie was one of best players on the pitch numerous times for rangers.
His power and dig definitely offers something different to what we have in middle of the park.
Just not the type of player Gerrard uses he prefer to play technical players kamara/ aribo etc but make no mistake Ross Mcrorie is a good player and will have a decent career.

08 Oct 2020 20:34:10
Totally agree jzer.

08 Oct 2020 20:54:04
I think what let Ross down a wee bit was his ball retention was a wee bit slack at times but he a good player.

08 Oct 2020 21:49:02
Bgate agree. He would not get a game in our mid and tav is delivering.
Good luck to Ross.

08 Oct 2020 13:48:25
No Defoe or Jones in Europa squad.

08 Oct 2020 13:56:58
No Edmundson either. Bit risky that given Helander and Balogun injury record.

08 Oct 2020 14:06:27
Yeah and Barker before Jones? Unbelievable.

For that matter, what about Stewart? where would he play?

08 Oct 2020 14:06:54
I'm assuming the coaching guys who see them daily, know why. Lol. I have full trust in our team.

08 Oct 2020 14:12:08
Didn’t really have much choice. Limited to only 21 players due to rules around having to include ‘homegrown’ players. Had to make some hard decisions. Patterson can still play as also allowed unlimited number of under 21 home grown players. I’m guessing taking a risk by going with 3 CB’s as Bassey can also play there if needed. Jones was never likely to make the squad and with having 4 cf’s and only usually playing 1 main central striker, one of them was always likely to miss out.

08 Oct 2020 15:03:17
Fair point re Bassey at centre back Gers1978. It just shows how important it is to be bringing our own talent through the academy to enable us to fulfil a quota in European competitions.

08 Oct 2020 16:13:56
Jones is better than Barker, we have ruined that guys career, clearly not a favourite.

08 Oct 2020 17:23:54
Work down south an always catching up wi bears on this site. Sometimes brutal an negative at times but end of day we all want the same thing. So first time poster. We should not touch jack whiltshire with a bargpole. great player but not for us at this stage as he clearly can't stay fit, as per jordan rossiter. We're playin well, seems to be a togeherness there, still got aribo an roofe who looks a player to come back. I, m confident we're going right direction. Be gental.

08 Oct 2020 17:53:29
Well the gaffer picks best squad he can so let's trust and support.

08 Oct 2020 18:11:26
Don't care that defoe is now in his late 30's, its a big mistake imo that gerrard has omitted the best finisher at ibrox, from our europa league squad!

08 Oct 2020 18:51:42
Jones better than Barker? Now that's a laugh!

08 Oct 2020 18:52:25
Sgl I think he’s the best finisher we have but I’m not sure he’d start any games and he seems to have injury problems . Maybe keep him fresh for league duty 👍.

08 Oct 2020 18:57:24
I'd have took Defoe over roofe for European games. By this decision it would suggest Defoe is new 4th choice striker. Morelos would be 1st. Itten offers a different option. And Defoe would be there to nick a goal if we had to throw an extra man on. I'm not convinced by roofe yet but think he'll come good, however, not ahead of Defoe for me, yet.

08 Oct 2020 19:16:30
Barker far superior to Jones in all aspects of his game and commitment.

08 Oct 2020 19:29:18
Think barker has more natural ability than jones.

08 Oct 2020 20:29:33
Stewart before Jones is even more baffling.

08 Oct 2020 20:55:01
Stewart in because he’s Scottish.

08 Oct 2020 23:45:21
IMHO I think that Defoe is now more in the coaching squad passing on his experience both on and of field rather than playing side. ?

09 Oct 2020 08:56:15
SGL who would u drop to put Defoe in squad.

09 Oct 2020 10:17:37
guys moaning about Stewart being in, defoe being dropped etc, do your homework before coming on and posting. We had to choice but to include Stewart or leave a space empty, due to "homegrown" quota required.

As for Defoe its a no brainer leaving him out over the ohter 3 strikers. Morleos 1st choice, Itten a differnt option and Roofe gives you more than a striker. he play left, right, 10 and CF so gives us more options than Defoe.

09 Oct 2020 15:10:01
Well written Jbf. At least some on here understand the rules.

08 Oct 2020 13:45:19
Has anyone else seen the Europa league squads released today? Jones and Defoe drop out. Apparently unable to make up the home grown quota so only allowed to register 21 players hence the reason for their omission. It seems like the gaffer prefers Barker over jones and although I’m not entirely clued up on registration rules for euro competitions I would have thought given jones time at killie he would have trained in Scotland longer than barker?

08 Oct 2020 13:52:59
Barker doesn't count as homegrown mate, only four in the squad are. For every homegrown you are short you have to name one less out of 25. So squad can only be 21 and looks like came down to straight choice between the two if you get me?

08 Oct 2020 14:00:02
But do you not become homegrown after having trained in the country over a certain period of time. That’s why I mentioned Jones time at killie as I would have thought that he would be homegrown?

08 Oct 2020 14:00:20
Think McGregor, Jack, Stewart and maybe Arfield are our four home grown?

08 Oct 2020 14:15:57
I thinks its 3 years between 15 and 21 counts as homegrown.

08 Oct 2020 14:15:58
Only home grown if that training was when they were a certain age, I think between 15 and 18 or 21. Something like that. So if a player who is say, English or Northen Irish trained with a Scottish club for a certain period of time between ages of 15 and 21 then they are classed as home grown. Jones didn’t do that.

08 Oct 2020 14:16:54
It's three years between the years of 15-21 and Jones kicked about north East England and first, moving to Killie at 21/ 22.

It's a total minefield though! Been stung with it many times on football manager haha.

08 Oct 2020 16:34:12
So either way
Jones out and as such only allowed to have 21 players
It if he included some more home grown players we could have 25 in squad is that right?

08 Oct 2020 19:14:48
No thestig. The 4 spaces left are unfilled by home trained quota. If u don't have them u go without, I think.

08 Oct 2020 19:29:50
We could have had four more if all were home grown or if eight overall in the squad we are allowed to have 25. Reduces by one for each homegrown missing from eight.

08 Oct 2020 13:26:32
Fantastic news to see pictures of Katic back up and running on his instagram. Looks like he's been absolutely hammering the gym. Fear now tho his game time will be greatly restricted. As i rate balogun and Helander before him. Goldson doesn't drop out so you basically have 4 centre halfs battling for 1 position. What are everybodys thoughts? Helander for me personally.

08 Oct 2020 13:30:38
gives us another strong option at the back. Katic has endless potential in my opinion and must take his chance we he gets it. Helander/ Goldson our best pairing and i agree balogun looks a good signing.

08 Oct 2020 13:31:22
With injuries and suspensions and the amount of games we're going to have, think it's good we've got cover. Think they'll all play a part this season.

08 Oct 2020 13:39:35
Add Edmundson to that list too and we are very well stacked at centre half. It’s a tough choice and one I’m glad I don’t have to make but my personal preference would have to be Katic. I think although still a bit less experienced than Helander Katic is more of an arial threat in the opposition box and has more pace too. It is a very tough choice though as Helander’s timing of the tackle is very good and balogun has hardly put a foot wrong either. Certainly a good problem to have.

08 Oct 2020 13:49:11
Can only be a good thing to have options at the back, Katic has the potential to be class. Up until lockdown he was in great form and the best CB at the club, shame he got injured. 👍.

08 Oct 2020 14:01:07
I'd judge players on performance not appearence.
What I will say though is I've been impressed with katic, his attitude, wanting to improve, etc. I see a really really good player there.

08 Oct 2020 14:03:37
Very true Coldo. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🇬🇧.

08 Oct 2020 14:07:28
4 good options before katic. He’s got a great attitude and some good attributes but my word, he’s the worst ball player I’ve seen in a long time. We should loan him out to an spl team in January. I’ve got far greater hopes for Edmundson.

08 Oct 2020 14:27:37
Katic for me is a very important player, his aerial presence is top notch, he strong and a good reader of the game, he's only going to get better with us, hope he gets the nod for the teams with height at the back, ie Celtic! I'll never forget that bullet header that nearly took the net off!

08 Oct 2020 16:01:40
Katie may be a bit ahead of schedule but doubt he’ll be ready to play until around the turn of the year still. Those pics probably just mean he’s back out and able to do some running / building up his training. Won’t be anywhere near to being able to play yet.

08 Oct 2020 17:25:55
I like Katic a lot, probably due to my having a tenner on him scoring the last goal at 50/ 1, at Celtic Park, great potential and very classy looking guy, just hope Gerard thinks that too and doesn’t ignore the boy.

08 Oct 2020 18:17:55
Glasgowrangersgooner, a wee question for you pal. With you also being an arsenal fan, what's your take on our links with jack wilshere 🤔How highly do you rate him and how do you think he'd do in scottish football mate? I think a fit wilshere is a superb midfielder 👌.

08 Oct 2020 18:55:20
I’d imagine a fit Jack Wilshire wouldn’t be tempted with playing in spl and the glamour of visiting Dingwall Hamilton etc.

08 Oct 2020 19:19:12
Either katic or the fridge will go out on loan next season. Might have to cash in on 2 of our centre half if we keep balogen hellander and Goodson. 1 of the other2 go on loan and prob 1 of the whole group has to be sold. Then with mayo coming through maybe even 2 being sold within next 2 years.

08 Oct 2020 20:31:37
Coldo katic wasn’t the best CH before injury utter BS.

08 Oct 2020 11:33:45
love Andy Halliday. Legend lol.

08 Oct 2020 14:04:55
Halliday will always be welcome back. Limited player but great heart.
Imagine if all our players had his heart.
Legend gets thrown around a lot.
But for attitude. Heart, desire, effort, and love for the club. Not many people beat Andy Halliday.

08 Oct 2020 17:28:12
True Blue, always be welcomed at ibrox, it’s something his parents are very proud of too, probably was a bit below the quality requirements but heart of solid blue.

08 Oct 2020 19:26:18
Yea Andy a good blue nose welcome back any time.

08 Oct 2020 10:05:42
I really hope that gerrard is still looking at players as there is so many great players that still need clubs i have just listed a few.

Would you take any of these?

Andre Green
Alen Halilovic
Marquinhos
Antonio Valencia
Shinji Kagawa.

08 Oct 2020 11:56:31
Never heard of any of them.

08 Oct 2020 12:19:06
I've never heard of any of them either but I'm going to do a thorough search on you tube before I make any rash decisions.
I wouldn't want to sign anyone who's duff, slow, runs with a limp etc we only need the best stars that you tube has to offer.

08 Oct 2020 12:31:26
Yous have Never heard of kagawa? Ex man u and Dortmund player?

08 Oct 2020 12:32:04
heard of them all. last four have pedigree and used to a large wage. not sure of their legs or use in our team.

08 Oct 2020 12:32:34
Valencia must be some age now?

08 Oct 2020 12:59:01
Valencia played with man utd for a good few years.

08 Oct 2020 13:59:26
I once smoked Kagawa just made me ill 🤑🤢🤮😂.

08 Oct 2020 14:08:07
Try andre green dsgersfan🤣👍.

08 Oct 2020 15:17:47
Eric if the last four have pedigree. Is the first a Heinz 57 👍. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🇬🇧.

08 Oct 2020 15:42:25
No, I've never heard of any of them, but then I also have a life outside supporting the Famous.

08 Oct 2020 15:49:18
🤣😂🤣😂.

08 Oct 2020 16:40:50
How bout ozil. He's not wanted at arsenal. He'd been on 300,000 a week so he won't need the cash. He might fancy trying himself against hardcore teams like Hamilton and Ross county. It'll never ever happen, but this is the place for unbelievable banter and rumours. 3-0 next week. Kent, arfield and tavernier. 20 quid on.

{Ed001's Note - he gives most of his earnings to charity, so he is not as rich as you might think.}

08 Oct 2020 20:32:40
Anyone that hasn’t heard of the majority of these don’t really know much about football.

08 Oct 2020 09:13:31
Amazing heartfelt video montage made up by sky sports for Steve Davis. Previous managers and players congratulating him on his appearance record. Pochitinno rated him as highly as the likes of insiesta with regards to keeping himself fit and healthy playing for both club and country. Huge well done to Steve Davis. Playing well recently also may I add. One last push for this title
🔴⚪️🔵.

08 Oct 2020 10:15:16
The wee man is a model pro and a class act.

08 Oct 2020 10:54:49
Legend👍.

08 Oct 2020 11:35:48
Still the best midfielder we have at the club!

08 Oct 2020 12:24:26
Hopefully he can get a few more caps and be the most capped player in British history.
Well done Steven Davis your a true professional and hence why he's still going strong and able to play at a high level.

08 Oct 2020 17:29:53
Well said 12th, great Rangers man.

08 Oct 2020 18:21:49

A fit Jack Wiltshire playing 40 plus games a season for us would undoubtedly be a huge signing for us. He is some player on his game and not too old that he can't rediscover some good form. However, I am sick of us signing players that have been injury prone prior to signing for us only for us to have to pay up their contracts to get rid of them . If we do sign him I know how good he could be but worry he will be sitting in the dressing room injured all the time.

MOCBear, i totally agree with you mate. There's absolutely no doubt that an injury free jack wilshere is a fantastic, very talented midfielder, who can glide past opponents and has the killer ball in his armoury 👌 Remember when he was coming through the ranks at the arsenal, he was labelled by his peers as possibly the next paul gascoigne, as although not as good as gazza, no midfielder in england has ever been, over the last half century, wilshere had a similar midfield style to the great ONE👌.
No risk whatsoever, if we can attract wilshere up here to train with us at the rangers training centre, to run the rule over him for a period of time, to get an overall look at him!
Even then if everything does seem fine, we should offer him at the beginning, a pay as you play contract to see how everything goes. But i totally agree that IF we could get wilshere and keep him fit, there's not ANY midfielder currently playing in scotland, anywhere near as good as him!

Why would JW be interested in a pay as you play contract? Why would anybody want to take a player who can’t play anymore? This joke has blown completely out of proportion.

08 Oct 2020 07:04:26
If we got him then 40 games a season he would be a fantastic signing moc.

08 Oct 2020 07:43:21
He's only played 60 games in the last 8 seasons, there's no way he will play 40 games, he will be lucky to survive SGs training sessions.

08 Oct 2020 08:06:45
The prospect of Wilshere and Davis lining up in the same midfield is mouth watering! If it happens, and that is still a big IF, a pay as you play deal would have no risks for Rangers. Don't be fooled into thinking that Wilshere is soft and fragile. He is a tough player who has been unlucky with injuries. I for one would be delighted if he joined us. He could be the difference between #55 or not.

08 Oct 2020 08:16:17
I said same sort of thing last night he would be a good signing
Some folk shot the idea down 😳

To me he would be. A marquee signing for us.

08 Oct 2020 08:41:32
Sweep I thought that too, however info fro here indicates he has in fact played many more. It appears financial reasons restricted his games at West Ham.

08 Oct 2020 09:16:45
He will not be signing for Rangers so the point is totally irrelevant he will not play 1 game for us let alone 40. It’s just a made up story to try and sell papers.

08 Oct 2020 09:41:09
I think we have no intention of signing him? Gerrard will shoot it down at his next press meeting.

08 Oct 2020 09:43:54
Financial reasons will probably stop him playing up here also. As much as I would love to see him pull on a rangers top I can’t see it. When we signed gazza we had the financial ability to do so. We ain’t got the money for him.

He could sign for championship team and earn a lot more than what we can offer plus he wouldn’t have to up sticks to Scotland. Lovely if it happens. I had 3 boys fitting my kitchen yesterday 2 of them Tim’s talking abt us winning the league if wilshire signs. While the 1 rangers fan was telling them we are going to win it anyway. He’s a good guy 😂🔴⚪️🔵.

08 Oct 2020 10:45:53
Apparently he posted himself when he was released that he has been fit for 8 months.
So your point John25 that it is probably financial reasons for not playing for West Ham is true. And I’m sure they sold a player to West Brom to raise money which the fans and Mark Noble ( captain) weren’t very happy about.

08 Oct 2020 10:28:45
My thoughts exactly, Barrowlad! Until Gerrard, or the club state there is an interest, it's just paper talk.

08 Oct 2020 10:48:44
If he could play 40 games a season he wouldn't be linked with us🤔👍.

08 Oct 2020 10:57:34
Don't get me wrong wilshere is a quality player and you would take him in a heartbeat, he would be class. 👍.

08 Oct 2020 11:25:36
If Wilshere is a marquee signing, does that mean he will play with intent?

08 Oct 2020 12:01:16
Yes, very good Efriar. I hear he has a great left peg. Seriously though, if Wilshere were to join us there is the lure of European football which Championship sides and most of the other EPL sides can't offer. I wouldn't expect 40 games, maybe 20 chosen carefully, including the European games and don't risk him on any artificial pitches. I'd love to see him up against Broonie at Porkheid.

08 Oct 2020 13:00:48
Doiger he can't play European football until February with us, the deadline for europa league has pasted now.

08 Oct 2020 13:47:35
Bluebell English media says he was on 50 k per game appearance money. A lot off money, but he was quality,
Coldo makes good point, if he could play 40 games he’s not coming here.

07 Oct 2020 22:59:53
If we do want him get him on pay as you play deal.

08 Oct 2020 10:21:52
He's not going sign that, the guys not desperate for a club and can wait as long as someone offers him a decent wage. West ham have just gave him over 2 million pound, he doesn't need to sign pay as you play deal. It's rangers that need to prove its worth his while coming here not the other way about.
