If Pedro were to be given the boot at the end of the season or whatever and I'm not for one minute saying he will as I can understand and see what he is trying to do with the team who would the fans realistically like to see replace him as I don't ever see the likes of Derek mcinnes becoming boss as I think the board are trying to think outside the box to bring more to the club and get us back on top as soon as possible but I really hope Pedro stays and is successful?

09 Oct 2017 12:31:43
It will be mcleish who replaces him.

09 Oct 2017 13:57:05
Maybe the board should think inside the box and not overlook the obvious. After all thinking outside the box with managers hasn't exaclty paid off for the board.

09 Oct 2017 16:15:00
if it is mcleish who replaces him we can say goodbye to stopping ten in a row.
terrible manager and was good for rangers because he was left a worldclass team and scotland because walter had them flying before he came home the mcleish ****ed both with his own signings here and changed tactics in the scotland job.

he has never been a success in any other job.

09 Oct 2017 23:22:30
McLeish did some job first time round. Some people have short memories. Should have been a shoe in for the job after MW. If we had given him 9 or 10 million we would be in a far better position, of that there is no doubt, in my mind at least

09 Oct 2017 23:45:26
He won the league cup with birmingham but I do agree that he wouldn't be the answer in this scenario. If pedro doesn't work out we will need bring in a big name, no more experiments.

10 Oct 2017 07:52:31
Why a big name?

09 Oct 2017 21:27:52
As we have a new structure now at rangers in having a DOF in mark allen, if pedro were to leave as our manager, i think our former player and current feyenoord manager, giovanni van bronckhurst, would be a superb choice for us as manager/ head coach, working under mark allen! Our structure would suit gio to a 'T'! What do other fellow bears think and what's your take on this possibility ED?

{Ed039's Note - it's not a possibility mate, he is a very highly regarded coach and wouldn't be short of offers if he were to leave Feyenoord)

08 Oct 2017 15:12:07
Just like to say C'mon Scotland and Northern Ireland tonight let's get the job done and both ge t through to the playoffs and hopefully not have to face each other I say this As I am bear through and through and was born and bread in Scotland but I have lived in Belfast since the age of 13 and I'm now pushing 40 and have been attending Northern Ireland games since I was 15 but I could never disown the country of my birth or want them to get beat no matter who the team was made up of and always support them but if Scotland were to face Northern Ireland in the playoffs I would be totally torn as I've said I've been an avid supporter and attending Northern Ireland games for more than half my life and only ever been to 1 Scotland game and that was way back in 1991. So here's hoping both get what they need to be guaranteed a play and that they both avoid each other and make it to the finals next year. I'm going 1 nil to Scotland and 2-1 to Norn Iron.

08 Oct 2017 15:47:17
Really hoping we can do it but Slovenia are pretty decent and I don't think we'll win.

So my prediction is that this will Strachan's last game in charge. Next boss I would go for Derek MacInnes. Would keep taking Scotland upwards and likely weaken Aberdeen so it's win win with that appointment.

I would be interested in the thoughts of others, rather than folk just coming on with the wisdom of hindsight.

08 Oct 2017 16:32:49
How can anyone disagree with fact unless the naysayers are calling me a liar! But if the disagrees are in ref to my expected score predictions! Then ok!

08 Oct 2017 17:50:20
i hope the human nik nak isn't injured, he brings something to this team we've not had in years, james mcarthur looks like that guy that you need to play because he's the only one with a ball! Makes too many scary errors in the middle of the park.

08 Oct 2017 21:47:20
Who's the human nik nak?

09 Oct 2017 04:22:39
Must be the thumb surely

09 Oct 2017 16:09:50
Sorry Negri I don't know what you're on about.

09 Oct 2017 16:11:33
Need u ask?

09 Oct 2017 20:05:30
Griffiths! He looks like a nice and spicy nik nak with a shite haircut

08 Oct 2017 17:51:22
Someone’s been on the singing ginger

08 Oct 2017 19:02:32
That has to be one of the worsts posts ever on the site. I’m actually embarrassed for this clown and to think this person probably has the vote.

08 Oct 2017 20:30:48
Wtf is that all about TJBB! Digs, dugs, asda and the rspca and there's me thinking I ramble on a wee bit, get yaself to bed mate

08 Oct 2017 21:59:17
TJBB you're an absolute dig (damn this spell correction)

09 Oct 2017 16:13:31
Deary me!

08 Oct 2017 13:04:21
Good luck to Scotland tonight.

Anybody hoping our national team are beaten are just as bad as Celtic supporters who favour the Republic over Scotland.

All the Rangers greats who have players for Scotland over the years that are still with us will be behind the team tonight, hope my fellow bears will join them!

08 Oct 2017 14:05:44
Yes bearmode91!Like yourself, i'm another glasgow rangers supporter who also supports his country! Can't understand WHY anybody born in scotland with scottish blood running through their veins, don't support their own country! I'm scottish through and through and very proud to be! Common scotland this afternoon! let's get to the play offs! It could only happen in our country with some parochial people willing their own country to get beat! You don't get england, northern ireland or wales supporters, wanting their countries to lose! They're very supportive and patriotic towards their nations and rightly so! Try telling john greig, graeme souness, barry ferguson, walter smith,
ally mccoist etc, that they should be wanting scotland to LOSE! They would leave them without a name! So get a life if you're scottish and back your country and that goes for some of my own fellow rangers fans and celtic fans! Forget england and republic of ireland, support your own country and be proud to do so!

08 Oct 2017 15:19:34
I agree BearMode91

They are just as bad with a big chip on there shoulder

08 Oct 2017 12:23:11
A don't think ohalleron will be allowed to play fud mate.

08 Oct 2017 09:17:00
Ive got a feeling on friday that ohalloran will be wanting to rip pedro a new one and will play out his skin.

08 Oct 2017 09:25:00
is he allowed to play against us, be stupid not to put that in the loan agreement

08 Oct 2017 09:35:21
I'm not sure if he will be able to play Fod. Does anyone know if he can play against his parent club?

08 Oct 2017 09:26:16
He'll prob not be allowed to play Fod.

08 Oct 2017 09:36:55
He's on loan and won't play Fod.

08 Oct 2017 10:06:44
Yeah he won't be able to play.

08 Oct 2017 10:34:03
I'm pretty sure that fod would want him to play and rip us to bits just to give him something to moan about. Fact is he could be a world beater but he never wanted to play for us and when he did he was mince. Oh and he ain't no world beater

08 Oct 2017 11:15:59
Of course he can't play. anyone who knows about football knows he won't play against us!

08 Oct 2017 11:34:25
Delboy its not always the case. Its between clubs and as pedro doesn't rate him why would he worry about him playing against us. Obviously I don't know anything about football.

08 Oct 2017 12:41:35
My apologies fod. there was no need to reply like that. it's true some team let there players play against them ie robberts against city.

08 Oct 2017 15:20:19
He isn’t allowed to play don’t know what the hell op is talking about, it’s as if he is hoping that’s what happens

08 Oct 2017 19:05:27
The French guy who Celtic signed on loan from PSG was allowed to play against them.

08 Oct 2017 22:09:42
Roberts was allowed to play against man city cause UEFA don't recognise or allow stopping of players against parent clubs and yes it's up to parent club in league football to state he can't play

09 Oct 2017 16:08:25
Sparky that’s different rules as uefa said it’s not allowed in their comp to ban players it was when TC award at athletico Madrid on loan and Chelsea tried to ban him and uefa said no.
