are there any fans on here who are still behind ally mccoist and think he is the right man to be in charge of rangers, i'm certainly not one of them, i'm beginning to hate him but there must be some pro ally people still out there and I was wondering how they can justify supporting him. also head on grapevine that dave king is ready to step aside to allow a group of wealthy fans from northern ireland make an aggressive takeover bid. wish something would happen

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why are you beginning to hate him?

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not beginning to hate I now totally despise him he singlehanded wasted a great chance to put the playing side of the club on a right good footing but he chose to do it his way and look what we have a squad of players the vast majority who don't deserve to walk into the marble hall at ibrox and ask supporters £500 to attend a function the he has also has about half a million penny arcaid shares but he does not read contracts and only does football but manages to complain team did not get a bonus for winning the diddy league that's why I despise him

Agree0 Disagree0

Oorpie I wist to feck somebody would come in and buy this lot out

Agree0 Disagree0

Im begining to hate him because I believe his lack of managerial skills his disgustingly high salary and his cowardly pass the buck interviews are doing as much damage to our club as any of the directors. I wish he would just go away and take wallace with him

Agree0 Disagree0

Nobody nowadays are going to invest their honestly earned money in a football club. There isn't any money to be made in football especially Scottish. Rangers need to restart at the bottom with the proper expenses that means the club are living within the means

Agree0 Disagree0

Oorpie I hope you are not coosher who told us McCoist would be out on Wednesday this week?
Major disappointments where hope is built up is not allowed on two subjects. New manager and new owners there are quite a few of us who have been saying our prayers every night for months to no avail and wake up to the same old same old. Personally I doubt the rich Ireland fans theory. I don't think there are any knights charging to our rescue. We need to come to our rescue and somehow buy this board out. Rich guys could have had the club for circa £6million before Green came along the price tag now is circa £20million to outbid the current board and about £50million for the lot. So what has changed except the price being much higher? Where were they two years ago?
Having said all that as long as they don't take us back to the old bigotry cr@p and have the club's best interest- bring them on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Greybear once duff and phelps got involved there was only going to be one guy that got our club and I still believe once police investigation is done a few people will be charged with fraud

Agree0 Disagree0

@'tmwnn you are probably correct although their own professional body will be in a heap of trouble if that is the case having given them the okay after their own "investigation". Think it is just frustration at no sod saying anything even though they clearly no a heck of a lot more than any of us.

#7 Disagree with the first part of that.

Yes Duff and Phelps seemed very happy to go along with Green but if the Blue Knights had wanted preferred bidder status they could have easily put in their money rather than just talking the talk.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on 9, have constantly said they seemed to think that saying ''we are Rangers men'' gave them a right to walk on to the board without coughing up anything. Unfortunately many fans went along with them and made it obvious to other reputable bidders they were not wanted, including abuse giving to the American who immediately stepped back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Naz your right the blue knights could have had preffered bidder status but they new green did not have a lot of money behind him and they also thought there was no chance of him raising any on the market they were leaving him to get in and take the loses then waltz in and and take club for next to nothing but it did not happen and charlie scooped the pool and we have suffered ever scince

Agree0 Disagree0

It got to the extent that D & P seemed to decide Green was the only buyer in town. That may need more scrutinising. From the day and hour Green got his foot in the door, it. seemed spending money and becoming top dog in Scotland immediately was the sole object. Been more realistic and taken full stock of the situation would have been a better road forward
However would the fans have been happy then.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers chris I think the scrutnising is going on just now

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig shyte went to the high court in edinburgh to plead for his own people to be put in charge of our liquidation and his own people where duff and phelps so from white go involved this has been planned

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 or else I'll squeem and squeem and squeem

macoist might not be in such a strong position as what he thinks board meeting at ibrox has been held to review what value they are getting for management and coaching staff wages and low and behold turns out ally has still taking his full salary the view taken was that what they are paying they could have scouting coaching and sport science new management team for less than £1.7m its costing at the minute wallace has been asked to look at what options are available without macoist and co it appears the board are maybe turning there attention to the the playing side of things

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - I usually dont ask this but can I ask where you heard/seen this, is there a link I can read because I believe McCoist is as guilty as anyone in mismanaging Rangers money and would find such a revelation both intersting and a breath of fresh air)

Lbj d, As Ed039 comments, I hope this is 100%. Always remember, it just takes a break in the cloud to let the blue appear again. Let the sun shine.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I think it's c**p. do you really think that the board would be thinking of getting rid of McCoist at the time of year when the require cash? McCoist is the bargaining tool and their voice to fans (unfortunately) I think we are stuck with him for the foreseeable!

Agree0 Disagree0

Billy that's it verbotem as I got it

ED039 can I ask your opinion of Mr Wallace, he came with a sound financial reputation and looks like he is trying to get club on a better financial footing, OK he has made mistakes and maybe not been as honest as he could be, but if he goes who will be entrusted to run club.
The fans are maybe judging him on past board members which I think is unfair, your thoughts please ED.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - he has a very difficult job mate, in reality he is doing all the right things from a business stand point, what makes it difficult is he has been pigeon holed with Green and his cronies which may or may not be true, I personally think hes honest and genuine but he has an impossible job)

Ed I think that to but as far as it goes he must be wondering what planet he has landed on because does not matter what he does he can't please everyone and 75% of his time will go on firefighting it must be a nightmare some days when he goes in deason ticket sales are 12% of last years probably enough to pay this months wages jist about it will be iteresting to see how quick they bring forward share issue but its funny no one has heard any more about mr lethams loan or whether it has been repaid or is it being repaid by shares

Agree0 Disagree0

Ibj d ime pretty sure mr latham said he wanted the loan repaid in shares as he did not wish to take money out of the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we hear about the loan just now? We just got it in march. Am sure it was to be settled by September.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5) Is Mr Letham's loan not due to be repaid on 1st June/July and if it is not repaid then, it starts to accrue interest at 10%?

Agree0 Disagree0

I asked the question on here a wee while ago asking if the McCoist pay cut had in fact been signed off! Nobody seemed to know and I was given the short stick for asking. rumour control says he is still receiving the full amount

Agree0 Disagree0

Allymac it wouldn't surprise me fs probably had a raise for winning the part time league
