still a good few weeks away but if we play like we did against dundee celtic won't get near us. the movement pace of the game I think would b to much for them as they are not used to it and after watching there results they defo aren't a better side with better players no chance.100 on rangers to win 450 bk tht will do me.

I think one of the reasons we are doing well is the fact we aren't playing how scottish football teams play, there is no target man, the ball is on the ground, quick short passes movement all over the pitch, total understanding of where each player is or should be. We are playing a silky european form of football and when it clicks like it did on saturday it will blow anyone away, however if it doesn't click we become vulnerable in midfield and at the back, but I think these boys are training so hard to get it right. So I think its early days for anyone predicting winners, as we don't know what injuries could come on both sides before then and we have a very lean side. Also hopefully Waggy is back playing by then.

Of course its not easy, going to be epic and I'm quietly confident. Make no mistake they will be up for this and so will we. But if we keep playing the way we can and fight for every ball then we have every chance. let's get promotion in the bag first.

Agree- I HOPE we win, quite a lot of fans seem to EXPECT us to win. They are a higher level side with a better squad although they are out of form and managed by a diddy.

This game could be 6 months to early but guess what even if we get beat so be it, it's a lose lose for them, if they win well so they should our squad won't be ready till after the summer window but if we beat them, they will me mortified lol.

Fed up hearing blue noses on here stating that that mob have better quality players? In what sense? They have won nothing, proved nothing and when faced with opportunities to show their quality in Europe we all know what happened!
Our team was built when Warburton came in and that was done on a very tight budget. Whatever the result is I remain extremely impressed by the quality our lads have shown, on and off the pitch.
2-1 to us on the day.

listen up pessimistic crew, individuals count for nothing sometimes, look at Man City, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Selick if you want to talk about them supposedly having a better quality of payer than us.

No look at Leicester City, team of fighters, work there ass off every game, a hungry hard working, programmed trained drilled unit, and look were it gets them.

Don't discount rangers being a team against Selick having a squad of foreign players that don't know were there next game is going to be or who there team mate will be standing next to them.

Look yeh Selick can be good on any give day, if you were at the game against Dundee, we totally blew them away our football was out of this world, even the Dundee players admitted they just could not live with us on the day, we a team clicks sometime the opponents don't even matter. For me if we click against Selick, don't care what foreign dud in there team next to the 2 Brown and Grif we will give them a footballing lesson!

I don't think they do have better players they just talk about it the Spfl would like to think the best league is the top one and the best team play in it that is crap the top league is a means to getting into Europe the teams in it are lacking of being top quality and I count celtic in that statement they made Molde look like Barcelona.

Think you need to calm down M3LV0. God knows what you're getting wound up about? Yes rangers can beat celtic, but celtic could easily beat us. Don't go throwing your toys about just because people have different views. Making rod for own back comes to mind.

Unfortunately I wasn't at Ibrox on Saturday and didn't witness what was by all accounts a fantastic performance. I think you and Tom Tom are missing the point I am making, I don't care for individual players, they are the cogs of the machine. I care for the machines, and our machines tumpts selicks machines that Is what I am getting at, individuals mean nothing, ask arsenal, man city, real Madrid etc! machines see the top of the EPL Leicester and Spurs 2 footballing Machines, that is the point I am making.

I am not proclaiming that rangers are full of the best players, but what I am saying is they have a band of brother unity and when the chips are down that can go along way.

So yes Selick may have better players in some departments, but would the fit into out team, I do not know and do not care, what we have is good for me just now.

u 2 should stop looking across the east end who cares about what players they have that might be slightly better than ours.

Have to say I was over the moon when they were drawn out the bowl after us didn't want to get them if we made the final as it would be harder for us to watch them lifting the cup If they were to beat us in the final but I really think it will be a very close game but just feel our young Bears might be more up for it to prove something to both us fans and also themselves that they will be able to compete when we move back into the SPL next season but we all know that form goes out the windows in most if not all old firm games and what I think will happen is Scott Brown will be running about for the first 10-20 mins trying to intimidate our midfield and then he'll realise it ain't going to work and we'll start to try and take hold of the game from then on in that is if we don't hit first and early like we did on Saturday to put them on the back foot from the first whistle. This has happened quite a few times its just a case of big countries and uefa bullying wee countries. It's been the case from the off with sky that if you had sky sports and came from Scotland you wanted to watch English football regardless off Scottish football being on it and that think always justified giving Scottish football a bad deal on payments the same goes with the BBC over highlights we are a tenth of the population we should get a tenth of the money as we are forced to pay a licence for BBC. They may have had a case for it if the best players in the league were English but they certainly aren't . Now 20 odd years into that thinking we now have a product not worth watching (apart from just a plain love of your own team) this thing with the champions league creating a black out to all other games unless they think you are big enough to do what you like is bull. If they get their way and ban smaller nations from the champions league then we should have a complete black out of it as it is a farce along with the seeding process it is meant to guarantee that the ones who make money from it are the ones with plenty of money but hey that the way of the world the rich get richer the poor get poorer, in years gone by football was the working class break from all that but now it's all suits and prawn sandwiches running it and with footballers are so far removed from the fans and the root of the game it is no wonder this is happening and the more we the small nation complain to these money grabbers the more we pee in the wind.

That's what happens when you have a bunch of total diddies in charge that are frightened to do anything that might upset UEFA in case we lose our referees invovment in top European football.

Same reason that our domestic refs make so many pathetic petty decisions like the recent ggoal celebration bookings- so they are seen by UEFA as implementing their rules so our refs are on elite lists.
