Seems like all rangers players impressed tonight on international duty, jordan jones setting up a goal for n. i. , finland fans raving abot kamara, even barisic, starting his third game in a row for the 5th best team in the world and keeping gareth bale at bay, the future looks good!

Jones looked pretty decent from what I saw of him going forward, not sure if he offers up much defensively, liked Kents defensive qualities aswell as his dribbling etc, his work rate was top notch when tracking back etc, hopefully Stevie drills that into Jones and we have a good player on our hands.

As Rangers supporters are we behind the current squad and manager.
Me personally I think unless he shows a level playing field selecting his squad he will not get Hamden full and getting all of us back on board. I used to watch all Scotland games. i'm trying to get my lad to watch but he has no interest as its like watching Kilmartic. Unless we have both divides of the city on board we will never fill Hamden again, the 12 man is essential. Cyprus, we should be putting these teams to bed in 30 minutes -no excuses.

Ridiculous post, I am (probably, I think, ) older than you, back in the day, maybe it depended on what team you played for (i e. Rangers players got in the national team easier than anyone else ), and brilliant talented players from smaller clubs were completely ignored untill they got a transfer down to England, or were so exceptional up here they could not be ignored, Barisic is a Catholic, what or how do you think he feels, when he hears the anti Catholic chants from your supporters, and how long will it be before the racists in The rangers support have a go at Kamara, when he has a bad game.

Have to say I was delighted that Clarke got the Scotland job. I hope he will do well and wish him all the best. I definitely think that it would be a far harder task to win the league next season had Celtic appointed him. My own interest in the national team is limited to the sofa however I always want us to win and Im gutted if we dont. Doesnt last long though like when Rangers draw or lose.

Maybe aindoh is right to highlight it - we can pretend to have moved on but the truth is that there is a significant minority of our fans who are living in the past and still care more about shouting abuse than representing our club.
I have no interest in what Celtic or their supporters do but at times I am embarrassed by our own fans and their inability to behave in a manner befitting the club.

NOVO - I sit in Copland Front and there is a guy along from me who shouts darkie, sambo and various other charming phrases at all of our BME players. Im the only person who has ever told him to shut up. I should also say Ive been going to Ibrox since I was 5, Im a bluenose through and through, but Im also an atheist married to a Catholic and I have to sit through all that bike every week to support my team. We have a massive problem with racism, sectarianism etc. and to say we dont youre either burying your head in the sand, condoning and agreeing with it, or both.

Im not a regular at our matches as I now live too far away but each time I go there are a handful of guys shouting abuse.
Some of the comments on here highlight the problem we have - they are more concerned with pointing out what Celtic fans do wrong or disputing terminology than admitting to and fixing our problems.
Who care what the others do, we claim to be better than the others and its time we started to walk the walk rather than just talking the talk!

Kamara is some player. I can see us making a right few quid on him when he moves on. Davis and Jones both did well for NI and by all accounts Barisic also did well for Croatia. All good!

Hopefully with a good pre season Barasic can show some form. I think we should stick with this guy at left back as he has some talent. Remember he's came to a new country and a new team. Some settle quicker than others.

Barasic is a good player, hopefully he can give us some performances this season, not all players settle straight away and hes had a bad time with niggling injuries. If we can get some more quality in the starting 11 I really feel he can compliment it.

Sad news of the Leighton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh passing away at just 49 years old. Leaving behind a broken hearted family including his wife and 2 children. So sad. Rest in peace!

He’s had a lot of injuries and not been great in the few games we’ve seen him. If I was Gerrard I would start him the first 5 games of the season to give him a proper chance then see how he performs. Can site plenty examples when Gers fans have judged players too quickly. There were plenty on here saying Steve Davis was finished.

He's been here a year almost so if he hasn't already settled after a year then its unlikely he will. He obviously has the talent hence why he plays for croatia. Hopefully its only a consistency issue with the injuries that he has had and with a good pre season under his belt, we will see the best of him. 👍.

Tierney is worth couple of million at best, he may go for far more, but that is what he is worth in my opinion. Then again, I have only seen him against Rangers 2 or 3 times- I don't watch his team play against others. Someone is going to pay way over the odds but that is their lookout.

I remember harry redknapp telling a story about a foreign player he signed and he and his wife were that unhappy that they went back home and refused to come back. Anyone else think barasic just needs time to settle seen to many players not given the chance to settle and go on to better things a mean you don't play for croatia if your not a good player its a big step from most clubs to rangers with the expectations and pressure and the style of scottish football takes getting adapted to a good pre season under his belt and we could see a better more prepared player this season.

Neil mccann was spot on in his assessment of glen kamara and what he said to steven gerrard, when we first showed interest in him. He said "when kamara gets in the rangers starting 11, he'll stay there and no other midfielder will move him".
Thats how highly wee neily mccann rated kamara. Mccann also told gerrard that kamara would make rangers a fortune in a transfer fee,
when we eventually sold kamara. Again he looks to have been spot on! Hope we do resist selling kamara for now,
although we all understand money does talk. He's a terrific midfielder, who will only get better and better. He gave their midfield the absolute runaround, at ibrox that last game there!

I like Kamara, he's done well and I think he can get better but don't get carried away again with another one of our players coop. Am not sure I'd be so concerned what McCann says/ thinks either to be honest. He signed plenty of diddys at Dundee before he got the heav-ho.

Kamara is 15+ easy.
He is the best player technically at our club and arguably Scotland. If he continues to improve ( no guarantee ) he could be snapped up by a top 6 in the Eng Prem. hes better than some of the new Arsenal signings. Im not sure when Arsenal offloaded him. For me its imperative that we keep him for next season and perhaps the next depending on how we do. This season coming is crunch time for me, nothing other than the title will do. I would foarego European run also for that. We can only do so much.
