Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

08 Jan 2018 21:16:04
the board need come out and squash this rumour of admin if this is not been considered this could effect the players if it is aloud to rumble on.

08 Jan 2018 22:04:46
Mate if someone came our and said you were a traffic cone would you feel the need to come out with a statement?

08 Jan 2018 23:07:45
so what happens if this kind of rumour starts effecting the players we have been in this situion before and and it did happen but that's fine we will all just stay quite and wish for the best.

09 Jan 2018 02:02:04
It's literally just Celtic fans who've heard from mental celtic bloggers that have placed bets causing betting to be suspended

09 Jan 2018 06:48:34
C_bear gr8 post and oh so true šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

09 Jan 2018 08:38:51
c-bear85

Not a very good comparison tbh. I understand your trying to be funny however as we have suffered 1 admin before and in light of recent events I would say there would be nothing wrong with the board coming out and dismissing this rumour

09 Jan 2018 09:36:28
Arthur spot on mate c-bear85 as for your comparision above i would also have something to say to someone if they said i was a trafic cone and it wouldn't be polite.
there is no harm in the board squashing this rumour

09 Jan 2018 13:21:34
Cbear is very right they can't come out with a statement after every time a rumour like this comes up otherwise celtic fans will just keep doing it and keep laughing at us, just let it go and let board get on with their jobs.

09 Jan 2018 21:06:27
come out with a statement. two different scenarios, whyte purposely took us into admin, he had nothing to lose and everything to gain. our board, if they took us into admin they wouls lose the mo ey they put in with little chance of getting any back. oh and i'm sure the next post would be, if rangers denied the rumours, craig w said the same two weeks before we were plunged into the darkness

08 Jan 2018 20:06:51
Rangers rumoured to be looking at admin 2

- knock back bids for windass
- have a winter break in Florida
- add two players to the wage bill
-upgrade facilities at Auchenhowie

Hmmmm.

08 Jan 2018 20:43:39
Who started the rumours, was it the 'Rangers' fan that calls us the Klan and thinks the moon landings were faked?

08 Jan 2018 21:32:43
Remember the last version of your club tried to sign a player the day you went in to admin, so wouldnā€™t be surprised!

08 Jan 2018 23:36:48
"The last version". I bet you thought that was really clever saying its a new club while still stalking us because its the same club.

09 Jan 2018 00:10:57
Not saying there is any truth to this but my concern is 6 years ago around now the same stories were being banded about. jan 2012.and the same reaction on here was muted. i. e. timmy propaganda, mhedia witchunt, club too big to go into administration, we are spending on players so can't be true. and we all remember feb l4th 2012!

my worry is king has only about a fortnight to comply with the recent court findings and offer the 20p per share. ( don't believe an appeal will be successful) so I for one don't think burying head in sand works. and do fear for our financial well being. realistic thoughts please

09 Jan 2018 01:23:30
Never mind whiskers007, more like pussy007

09 Jan 2018 13:11:50
the great unwashed trying to unravel our rise back to the top no admin 2, 2 new signings new assistant. florida winter break and more signings to follow upwards and onwards bears. no one likes us we don't care.

08 Jan 2018 19:54:23
Jordan Jones is rank and has no end product end of. Anyone who's watched him can see it.

08 Jan 2018 18:27:13
If we want to sign jordan jones we need to make a move now because Brighton and burnley interested.

08 Jan 2018 18:48:20
I really want us to sign both jordan jones and greg docherty! But having signed jamie murphy, who plays on the left just like jones, i think we need greg docherty more! Docherty is a tremendous, young box to box midfielder and is also a rangers fan, just like jamie murphy! I've always wanted rangers to sign murphy from his motherwell days! He'll be a tremendous signing for us! Murphy's a terrific player!

08 Jan 2018 18:55:07
If Brighton and Burnley are interested then it doesn't matter when we make a move. Kilmarnock will want to wait for them to bid to drive the price as high as possible. And I'm sure Jordan Jones would be more interested in a move to the EPL then us unfortunately. Of course though their interest could be entirely made up by the media as per usual.

08 Jan 2018 19:55:58
I doubt we can afford either

08 Jan 2018 18:27:06
Pena's not blowing his nose on the shorts. He holds them up over his mouth, so the reporters can't see what he's saying.

08 Jan 2018 18:56:48
Nah you can see him pinch his nose with them. He can get in the bin with the rest of the flops

08 Jan 2018 19:25:49
He's just sniffing his skid marks šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

08 Jan 2018 18:20:43
Canā€™t believe the negativity towards the board around Murphy coming in on loan! Just because itā€™s been written on the back page by some wee hawfwit payed to make up stories! Hereā€™s one for you! Is maybe possible that it was always a loan deal as heā€™s Murtyā€™s signing and if it doesnā€™t work out or the board decides a new manager will come in the summer he might not fancy Murphy! King said after the AGM that funds would be made available to the new manager but anything spent in January would affect the money available in the summer! Iā€™m sure a potential new manager would be thrilled knowing that part of his budget was spent for him! Just saying fellow bears

08 Jan 2018 18:52:39
Graeme murty is our new manager mate! Its his job to lose now! I really now think that murty, jimmy nicholl and jonathan johansson, will do well as our management team and will continue as our management team, even beyond this season, on 12 month rolling contracts!

08 Jan 2018 19:22:47
I know heā€™s our new manager mate, but if the board really wanted to back Murts then he would have been given the job full stop and not a trial period until the end of the season. I really like him and hope heā€™s successful for us as I think he has done more for us in 20 odd games than Warburton and Pedro combined! I know heā€™s had a few ropey results but he carries himself with a bit of dignity and seems to understand what it takes to be at our club! Like I said I wish him all the best but I think the board will be looking at someone else come the summer and thatā€™s why I will be very surprised if we shell out big money in this window

10 Jan 2018 13:37:39
Dignity? This is the same guy that done a roly poly up in Dingwall? lol

08 Jan 2018 17:48:59
Pena wiping his nose with pair of rangers shorts in Mexico. better no play for us again.

08 Jan 2018 18:02:10
If you watch the video he is hiding his mouth not wiping nose. All payers seem to disguise what they are saying when cameras about.

08 Jan 2018 18:09:27
Caw, we can always count on you to be looking out for the most important stuffšŸ‘šŸ¼ Keep it up brother.

08 Jan 2018 18:11:08
what a load of snotter

08 Jan 2018 18:25:03
He wiped his nose wae them

08 Jan 2018 17:38:38
Alright folks, first time poster.

Was just looking through all the latest news on Rangers and there's a video about Pena arriving for his medical in Mexico. He's walking up to reporters carrying his rangers shorts and blatantly wipes his nose with them. He can do one, I don't want to see him back.

On the Walker note, I think the board were right. Too many other Scottish clubs think they can hold us to ransom for their players. Murphy is 100% a better player. Couple of good videos of him on YouTube.

09 Jan 2018 13:04:44
Clubs don't hold anyone to ransom u can either pay what they want or u don't.
A certain club used to GLOAT they paid 12m for Flo what ever happened to them?

08 Jan 2018 17:27:11
Paper reporting Naismith wants to return, I for one would welcome him back, football is a very short career and the boy was looking after his own.
Could have went about his move better but let's move on. on words and upwards āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø.

08 Jan 2018 19:58:18
Ayrshire Ranger

How is holding a press conference telling everyone that Rangers were dead and he owed the new club nothing looking after his own?

08 Jan 2018 15:35:28
Jamie Walker signs for Wigan for Ā£300,000 on an intital 2 and half year deal, source SSN Transfer Centre, he will be back at hearts soon or on loan to midtable Scottish side like many before him i don't think it will work out, but Wish the lad all the best especially after our board and Hearts both equally imo messed Walker about and messed with his head.

08 Jan 2018 15:50:46
Wish him well but don't agree that our board messed with his head at all. Hearts asked for 1m for a player with a year left on his contract, never had an international call up, was not playing well and carrying a reoccurring injury.

I am personally glad the board stood their ground, too many times we have let Scottish clubs bump the asking price up for a player solely because it's Rangers that want to sign them, they do the same with Celtic as well. We can't afford to give in like we used to, plus - I don't feel he was worth the 1m pricetag. Murphy is a far better signing.

08 Jan 2018 15:57:26
If he thinks Wigan-in what is the English third division-is a better option than Rangers good luck to him.

08 Jan 2018 15:57:41
I don't think we can say our board messed with his head.

We offered twice as much as they ended up getting for him. Hearts tried to hold us to ransom. We, correctly, declined. End of story.

Hearts lost 300,000 for the sake of 5 months of relatively poor form for him.

In the meantime we bring in alternative and better option in Murphy!

Why do people think our board are at fault here?

08 Jan 2018 15:59:25
Dont see how Rangers Board are to blame. We offered decent money and Hearts wouldn't sell and have ended up with considerably less.

09 Jan 2018 10:56:07
It was indeed decent money. This is supported by the fact that Hearts have willingly lost the player 6 months early gaining 300k. I don't see how losing him 12 months early doesn't equate to 600k?

09 Jan 2018 13:06:35
Scottish clubs do the same to Selik? They got Armstrong, GMS and Allan for a combined Ā£40 quid and a loan of Mcgeoch

08 Jan 2018 13:16:32
Think some people need to chill out, if Naismith is willing to play for free then let him, he's trying to repay for the mistakes he made and truthfully, with signings like Cummings, Murphy and Naismith then this could be a really good season for us that's if we get Cummings and Naismith.

09 Jan 2018 13:04:34
Its just a pity the board messed about regarding the manager situation and weā€™re lagging 11 points otherwise we could have at least made a fist of it in the 2nd part of the season

09 Jan 2018 13:10:57
People have to realise that football is a short career,
Naismith was a regular Scotland international, who gave his all for club and country.
Do you think he would have been picked for Scotland playing in the third tier, no chance, just as Lee Wallace didn't .
Maybe he should have got his wording right on interview .
Would love to see him back .

08 Jan 2018 11:19:29
Me personally would like to see Naismith back I think he would strengthen our squad we need!

What about Miller? Played for Rangers then ****ed off to play for Celtic yet he is back at the club and treated like a king!

If Naismith comes back and starts banging the goals in and setting up goals (like we know he could) who cares about the past!

08 Jan 2018 11:58:52
the past is past and can't be changed some folk forget he had his family to think about and as for the interview he did a wee apology would go down well and if he is willing to play for nowt why not take him if he banged in the winning goal against the manky mob i'm quite sure he would be forgiven

08 Jan 2018 12:22:44
Whilst I do think Naismith would strengthen our squad, I also believe he owes the Rangers support a full apology for his past behaviour. As I recall, Rangers paid Naismith handsomely for a long period during which he was injured. He could easily have moved on whilst (like Steve Davis) securing a fee for Rangers who really needed it at the time. However, he chose no to and I'm sure that was to his benefit financially. To now 'supposedly' offer to play for free seems to indicate his mind-set is still all about the 'money'. Yes, playing for free would be a great gesture but first and foremost, man up and admit that the way you departed was unfair on both club and support and apologise unreservedly, only maybe then will the Rangers support be prepared to accept him back. If not, then no thanks

08 Jan 2018 16:12:02
Kini37 thinking about his family is one thing and i get that but for me it was the fact he came out and said we were a different club that's a hard one to forgive but if he was banging in the goals i'm sure i'd have a rethink

08 Jan 2018 16:15:48
It's reported that Naismith is available on loan, have to pay Ā£10k a week of his wage's to Norwich

08 Jan 2018 18:06:13
Naismith isn't available on a free this January? It IS reported on the BB* that he's available on loan. He's very injury prone, hardly played in the last year and according to the BB* Norwich want Ā£10k of his wages paid to allow him to go out on loan. Doesn't seem a great deal to me.

09 Jan 2018 13:02:55
How long do you think it'll be before Naismith becomes injured again. Remember we nursed him back to full fitness TWICE after serious injuries.

08 Jan 2018 10:23:35
The Naismith deal is simple, he definetly has ability and would enhance our front line but he has been very injury prone through out his career, so just give him a pay as you play contract.

08 Jan 2018 11:47:08
Think Naismith was badly advised and missguided I didnā€™t want him back at Ibrox but showing his willingness to play for club for nothing I would give second chance everybody deserves second chance

08 Jan 2018 20:01:53
Stewartyg65

When he did the infamous press conference he was a grown man and was responsible for exactly what he said. He knew fine well what he said and to try and say he was badly advised is laughable. He and other must take responsibility for their own actions. Itā€™s not for apologists like you to try and somehow divert the blame.

08 Jan 2018 09:46:15
Naismith, Cummings and Murphy would be three superb signings. Let bygones be bygones for goodness sake!

08 Jan 2018 10:06:49
Sorry Doiger but I'm prepared to cut my nose off to spite my face on Naismith. I was a fan but will never forgive him and the other no mark after that horrendous press conference. Cummings, a great big no. Murphy is a good player and will do well for us.

08 Jan 2018 10:21:17
You need to get a life Seeker. What did Naismith ever do to you personally? It is a no-brainer if he was to join and play for free - nothing for Gers to lose. It is this entrenched bitterness at times from some Rangers fans that keeps dragging us down.

08 Jan 2018 11:48:33
Just my opinion Doiger. We are all entitled to it. I've seen some of the other guys on here say the same thing. You think he deserves a chance, I don't. If you are fine with it that's great. I'm not i have a season ticket and turn up to support a fantastic club. I Don't want somebody back at the club who doesn't appreciate us and how we nursed him through 2 career threatening injuries for him to leave in the manner he did. In the words of wee Nacho - no thanks

08 Jan 2018 11:54:46
Life's too short why all the hatred and negativity, the boy is a player of a calibre that has for too long been missing. As for Cummings he is only 22 and people are saying he only scored in the championship and did nothing in the Premier league, how many 17/ 18 year old strikers are banging in goals in the Premier league, in the championship he scored 55 league goals not bad for someone between the age of 18/ 21, he may seem like a wee ned but this is scotland and people from certain areas just act like that and if we want goals someone with a bit of attitude about themselves is needed

08 Jan 2018 13:46:51
Everybodyā€™s entitled to their opinion some will forgive some wonā€™t forgive Naismith me I didnā€™t want him back but I think he really regrets what he done knows he made big mistake whether he gets another I donā€™t know doesnā€™t seem to be move for him probably do good job

08 Jan 2018 14:11:47
If as is reported, that naismith is willing to play for free to earn a contract then I would have him back! What he said and did was a right sore boot in the baws! Maybe he wants redemption guys! He could definitely enhance our squad. An apology and play for free till end of season. I could live with that. We have all messed up over the years

08 Jan 2018 17:03:37
I agree with the seeker. I can't forgive Naismith for way he left. If some of our fans can forgive him then that's fine but I can't.

09 Jan 2018 13:00:50
Letā€™s get he boy Naismith in, he owes us nothing and clearly loves the club. All of us would have done what he did back then, how many of us would be prepared to do what he is offering now. The boy is a class act.

08 Jan 2018 09:25:38
The past is the past I think we should sign naismith and as soon as he scores against them all will be forgiven. Remember miller kissed their badge but all was forgotten when he rolled the ball past their keeper a few times.

08 Jan 2018 10:33:29
Miller never kissed their badge. He bashed the badge and his chest which he later said was a gesture to a friend.

08 Jan 2018 10:39:25
Well my point is still valid miller played for the enemy but we forgave his actions. Naismith said some misguided things on advice from his agent. He wants a chance at redemtion let him have it.

08 Jan 2018 14:47:11
Your point isn't valid if you are making stuff up like many others did he never kissed the badge end of

08 Jan 2018 16:23:24
Miller did kiss the Celtic badge when he scored against us at Porkhead, i was there and Then seen him do it on the Highlights on Sportscene. The people on here saying you can't forgive Naismith omg come on he knew what was happening at the club at the time and had already taken a huge pay cut and had a young family to think about aswell, listen to yous acting like your all saints which i know your not, nobody is or if they are then they to have a past! Time to let it be and go now.

09 Jan 2018 13:07:04
Well youā€™re telling porkies Alex because he never kissed the Selik badge i can assure you

08 Jan 2018 08:34:41
Would Ed be up for putting up a wee poll
Do we think we should change our attitude as fans at ibrox!?
Yes Or No.
