We won 4-1 not the best games we've seen but progress from last few games hopefully build on that
Arfield penalty was terrible luckily got it in 2nd attempt

Arfield 4th goal was beauty want to see more of this from our midfielders instead of trying to walk into net at times

There goal? Where was our defence

All for talking the lads up and giving them credit great score line

But the goal we let in was awful defending
Anyone disagree on that?

Morelos In on goal why go with right foot
For keeper to save
Switch left foot bit a bend round the keeper he scores
Again the confidence shows at these points just now glad to see him on the scoresheet though

We won main thing keep the momentum going into next game

Personally still not convinced on how we're playing but 4 goals scored more than we have scored in one game in a while
So happy with that

Need to get result against Killie midweek

But I have a sneaky feeling we will not be back to our best until after braga game

Hope I'm wrong - but I'll wait and see

Seen a few posts some folk happy with recent performances
And happy if Celtic get there 9 league titles if that's the case why spend so much money on trying to catch up with them
And put ourselves under pressure
Play the young guys in some positions lose Defoe etc

Sometimes can't understand some people views on our team on here, ?

We have the 2nd biggest wage bill in Scotland I'm assuming behind Celtic

So for that I do expect and You also should expect to be beating teams far more comfortably than we are.

If not then lose these big wages on some of these players and then we can lower expectations
Very simple.

Right now I believe and I'm sure our current manger who comes from a winning team winning mentality we should be expecting to be beating everything in front of us in this league in this present moment

I agree with lot of your post stig. The players we have in our team and our budget means we should be blowing away most teams in the league.
But. That doesn't give us the right to just show up and win. We have to earn that.

People are frustrated with the way we do things. For example trying to walk the ball in, not shooting from outside the box.

I've watched El Buffalo the last few games and he's just taking pot shots at goal when he should be trying to link the play. I can't criticise him overall because if it wasnt for this boys goals then god knows where we would be.

I would like to see Kamberi and El buffalo or Greg Stewart play up top. Mix it up a little bit.

Maybe bring JJ in on Wed against his old club.

Looks like we need to play Halliday on Wed. We needed another LB in Jan for cover.

We know the Mhanks are blowing most teams away the now. The next 2 old firm games we need to win and not drop any more points to have a fighting chance of winning the league.

Imo it's too much to ask. Hope I'm wrong.

I remember when sg tried mixing it up when we played c*ltic and we got throughly beat. I don't remember as1974 being happy about that. If we listen to thestigno1, we've got the second largest wage budget, so we should be winning all our matches against 'lower' teams? Am sorry that just doesn't happen in football. We're 10-12 points better off in the league, still in Europe after Xmas, have the europa league top goalscorer playing for us and despite a blip in form, still within reach of the top spot in the league.
Thats despite the manager playing his favourites, sticking to the same formation.

I'll be honest as1974 your comments on this thread I understand. I don't necessarily agree with them but that's fair enough.
What I really can't understand was the ranting and raving going on during the first half of yesterday's game (not just you)
We ended up winning 4-1, scored a couple of cracking goals. Was the performance great? No but it was an improvement (2nd half) on the last few games.

@Everysatwefollow. My constant negativity is realism. If we are quick enough to praise which I also do then the team or manager also gets criticism. I am not going to praise them when we are playing poor. Try taking off your blue tinted glasses from time to time. I think if you take the time to actually read what I wrote I stated that we don't have a right to beat teams. Its earned!

I didn't see the game today but i seen a post by someone during the game saying that Kent and Aribo should be subbed. Next thing that flashed up on my phone was a goal notification from flashscores. Boom goal Rangers scored by Aribo assist by Kent😂😂😂

Dont htink we played terrible today we controlled the majority of the game as we usually do. Its just little things like the miss placed passes and final ball that's a bit lacking at the min. But hey we scored 4 goals today. Buzzing for morelos as he's looked a bit low on confidence that goal will be a massive relief to him. Hagi played well opening game up with just one or 2 neat touches. 2 center halfs were very very poor 2day. And i have said it already but stewart looked great when he came on. Surely tav should step aside on the free kicks? Never saw thot arfield wouls step up to the pens . my personal option would barisic. or just get tav back 😂. Hope barisic injury not to bad.

So Kent makes one run in 82 minutes and we get the goal. Great. He gets subbed and we get two goals in 8 minutes on feeds from the left side. He is a decent player as last year showed but he is not on form. He relies too much on his speed but should focus on other aspects of his game to be more dangerous because teams are focusing on staying in front of him. There was also a couple of crosses from the right where if Kent finishes his run across the defender to the near post and he would have had goals.

Yeah let's enjoy the result against Accies who played teenagers. There's too many fans who'll come on here and say "yay, we won". However, scoreline flattered us in all honesty and what worries me is that it was another piss poor performance. Continue playing like that v Braga and Celtic, then we're in bother.

Good result on that plastic pitch and poor conditions, I thought Haji showed up well again, a very intelligent player, laid on two certs for Alfie which he would normally score with. Ryan Kent laid on the second goal today, and put in a few crosses also which could have led to goals, some fans just make up their minds without giving players a chance.

Our biggest problem is we don’t have a strong enough squad our first eleven if fit and on form can live with the best but few injuries few players lose form and we struggle I think it’s down to finances we don’t have it.

derek mcinnes ain't and never will be the answer, to be the rangers manager. Get behind steven gerrard and the players and if you or any other bear on here can't see we've improved a lot since gerrard took the reins, then god knows what you're seeing! Said before and i'll state again, steven gerrard will win the league as rangers manager IMHO. IF he wasn't to win the league this year as far as i'm concerned he stays as rangers manager for next season. My reason is quite simple, we're getting closer to them and challenging them and under gerrard we've beaten them 3 times and some can't see big improvement? 🤔🤔.

No use in worrying how they get on with their games though they do have to go to the sheep pen. Nothing other than 15 points from 15 will do. A run like should/ would build the confidence sky-high.
