Absolutely fantastic performance by us tonight, very proud of all our players and Management Team. The tactics were spot on, and they couldn't handle us on the break. Hopefully Jordan Jones has silenced a few doubters tonight, hi direct play was good to watch, and Aribo, what can you say, magnificent.

Yip terrific team performance but we all have our different opinions to who was the motm tonight. A good few contenders but i'd go for morelos tonight. Thought he was superb and scored our first and a hand in another 2.

Morelos was the best player on the pitch tonight, he is better than last season already, as he has mutured on the field and his all round game has inproved. I would not like to defend against him, you just never know what he is going to do.

I've been saying it since pre season. He was a stand out and couldn't believe we didn't play him against progress or Killie. JJ that is) I didn't see the game tonight due to being at work. Great result but!

That has to be Flanagans best performance thought he was outstanding, thought the midfield as a unit were superb, morelos seems to have matured a lot even in the space of a few months.

It's early and it's one game but so many postitves.

Morelos unplayable when he turns it on. When fit and not suspended has to play. Aribo was brilliant. Feels great to be praising them at the moment as feel last fortnight done nothing but moan. Top top away performance v a good side.

Like some of you guys have stated,
jordan jones played well for us tonight and his speed on the counter attack was vital for us. I said a couple of days ago that jones should be starting on our left wing as he was currently the most direct winger who's prepared to take his man on inside and outside. Last night he was superb and that will have to continue as brandon barker is equally as good as jones and it will be great competition for both, to see who plays on our left regularly. It will keep both barker and jones on their toes as they can't take their place for granted. They will both be hungry to nail down the left wing position as their own.

I thought jack and arfield were quiet tonight. Katic, aribo, Morelos and Jones were the stand out performers. Tav and mcgregor played their usual solid game.

Morelos is just superb, superb!

I think Jack is maturing into a tremendous player better than McGinn. Apart from his goal Arfield had one of his poorest games. Sloppy at times and looked sluggish. However his goal was so calm it was absolute class.

Best team performance away from home, yes?

Swagman hats off good one! But I think he’s better weather Kamara’s mum does or not, he’s more mobile good in the tackle and better distribution Davis will probably be more of a goal threat but other than that it’s Kamara all day long.

Cant see kent coming back with us looking to have signed Brandon Barker. Disappointed but in reality he is out of our price range unless we sold morelos, which I can't see happening either.

I can't believe the negativity from some of our fans, Mark Allen is doing a 1st class job for our Club, for some of you to be saying there's no improvement on last season is baffling. we are 3 times as strong as strong as last season, as for Candeis, he wanted to go, so goodbye to him, he wasn't the most consistent player I've seen in my 60 + years following the Gers. Ryan Kent may still happen, but Brandon Barker is also an excellent player who can also play directly through the middle. So c'mon guys, chins up we're going to be okay.

I agree with you irvger. We are stronger than last season, especially the quality we now have in reserve/ subs bench. A very healthy competition for places within our starting 11.For the record mark allen across the board, has done a terrific job for rangers, so far.
What do some of our supporters want here? As much as i would have loved to have got ryan kent back, doesn't mean to say that brandon barker won't be a good signing for us! I truly think barker WILL be a good player for us. I always liked the look of barker when he played against us, for hibs. Give the guy a chance and your backing for god's sake!

If no one comes in with a late bid for kent, he will be loaned out. He won't be kept in liverpool reserves.
I really think we will get him on loan unless someone comes in with a bid.

A lot of folk on here need to get over Ryan Kent - aye, we was pretty good, however Paulo Dybala he is not, we can't afford him and Liverpool don't want him going out on loan. It ends there. We are much stronger this term, the competition for places is much bigger and the strength in depth is vastly improved.

Got a good feeling about tonight troops feel we always perform better at a higher level against better opponents so I expect to see a decent performance from us tonight. Keep thinking about how well candeias done for us in Europe last year especially n feel we have made a big mistake in letting him go as I would have been starting him tonight for his work rate.

I'm going 2-1 rangers arfield to score anytime.

Not so much a mistake as in letting him go and more of a case that he wanted to go. If a player wants to leave you've got to let him. Management tried to convince him to stay but he chose not to. From my point of view if a player isn't committed to Rangers I don't want him.

Remember the distinctly unimpressed comments on here when Kent first came? Wind forward a couple of seasons with Barker on his way. Didn't hear about this till this morning with Mark A giving glowing references so give him a chance.
Also hear a striker from Europe is being chased but there are other teams in the mix. No minute of a LB but you never know.

We should move in for Greg Taylor, now that Tierney has left celtic, he is by far the best LB in the league and still only 21. Barasic for me hasn't paid off and is 5 years older than Taylor. Seemingly they want 400K for him and for that price considering what we paid for Borna we should definitely make an offer.

Along with other posters on here, I think we need a big striker, regardless if Morelos stays or goes. It is a shame that Peter Crouch retired as he could have been useful on a one-year deal. Charlie Austin seems to be moving to West Brom from what I've read.

Barker on a free or Kent (maybe) for multi millions? Interesting stuff. I like Kent but still think he is over hyped and I haven't seen many fellow Gers fans agree he is worth more than £5m. Also, we do need another striker and a left back. Is Taylor at Kilmarnock worth a bid? Or is there better out there? Interested to see what everyone thinks. I wanted Morelos to go for £15m plus but if he stays another season, rattles 30 goals and stays on the park then I'm also fine with that.

He’s certainly better than any LB we have at the minute, we let him ago in 2014 stating he was to small and slight! He’s certainly got more heart than Barisic.

Just a note living in Preston p. n. e were linked to resigning him he was injured a few times according to fans end product was a bit iffy sometime but nightmare for defenders at time with his pace.

Just after seeing that myself SuperCooper72! The sun also now reporting this and that rangers have agreed a fee with man city, for their jet heeled young left winger, brandon barker. He's going through his medical today and is expected to sign a longterm, permanent contract with us. That tells us everything we probably already knew, that ryan kent won't be coming back to rangers.

That would be barker, Jones, murphy,
middleton etc, who are all left wide players. I remember barker when he was on loan at hibs and anytime i seen him, i was impressed to be honest. He's an absolute flying machine.
