Someone mentioned “ assists”, I asked why on earth the tv and press where now, after about a hundred years m including the “assist” last night it was Ferguson, because the ball hit his shin, today there’s about 6 assists, which had virtually nothing to do with the goals, 3 hit someone on the back, which brought me back to what I said weeks ago, this is nonsense,

Ross wilson said that fredo was promised a move in the summer if an acceptable offer came in, obviously that never happened and fredo through his toys out the pram. He came back unfit, overweight, uninterested, Gerrard said this. He deserved the criticism that came his way and his attitude was rightly questioned again. He had no choice but knuckle down and get back to his best, we all know how good he can be. Coop you are right, fredo at his best will help us. I just hope we don't get the same attitude problems if he doesn't get a move in January if that is what he is expecting. 👍.

Well how many guys on here think the way am thinking.
I really do think this leauge is ours this year.
For the first time in many years I feel good about our team.
In europe as well.
We don't need anyone else to come in as we have a squad that fights for each our now.
Tomorrow's game has to be a win.
Infact every game has to be won.
We need to build a commanding lead to say to the our side. your wasting your time now idiot's.
We can't be the team trying to catch up and hope a certain team drop points.
But for once am feeling good about the position we are in.
Roll on tomorrow and another 3 points.
Lets just get this done and put our team and our supporters back to were we belong.
The best team and supporters in the world. and we need this.

I'm optimistic every season Rab ( maybe more hope than confidence ) but Gerrard has built a settled team and squad with our bench never looking so good for a few years.
More importantly all our first 11 are our own players. So the commitment should be there ( no players sitting on the bench with phones after being substituted ) .
And competition for places all over the park means no one is guaranteed a start of standards fall.
Plus we've the points on the board meaning the Tims are playing catch up.
Long way to go but we are looking good right now.

That still works out at around 78k a week paul. 2 million divided by the 40 weeks he will be at Celtic (might not be 100% on how long he is here but it's there or there abouts) plus 28k a week wage - still a helluva lot of money to pay for a donkey.

I don't believe that Stevie's going to play a weakened side whatsoever v Hamilton. He's going to want to smack them around and get a lot of goal difference between us and them. I'm going for a 3-0. Kent will score on Sunday, hagi and Morelos too.
I've had a look at the Celtic pages and they're beginning to implode. The supporters really seem to dislike lawell and are really whiney about popcorn teeth. If your feeling down, have a look. It's a great read. If they struggle v Motherwell, he's in real soapy bubble. The balance is going back to where it belongs.

Guys who are saying you don’t believe he plays a weakened side, I don’t believe we have a weakened side when we make 2/ 3 changes. The quality is there now to do like for like changes depending on opposition. Hagi may well be more suited to playing against Hamilton for example as we need killer passes to break them down, his inclusion wouldn’t be necessarily a weakening of the team. That’s just an example, other players like itten, roofe etc are not really weakening the side either. great position we are in being able to rotate without fear and long may it continue.

I watched the Aberdeen vs Hibs highlights as I'd seen Ferguson had two assists and as the boy had some good figures this season with goals and assists and we have been linked with him wanted to see what the assist were like. The BBC counted one of his assists as the ball cannoning off him and falling to cosgrove really?
I saw Alan Hutton saying Gerrard should give Patterson more game time. Do we think we need to rest Tav? Personally I think with him not having international football we don't need to rest him, hard on the boy Patterson but I think the form Tav is in so far he is my player of the year and if keeps his form up will have a good shout for player of the season. For me our most important player always massively under valued by our fans.

Every game is a must win ( as it should be at Rangers ) and we don't always have a 3-0 cushion to bring on the youngsters. Plus he never made the bench last week at Killie.
We might see him start in the domestic cups.
And Gerrard has praised his attitude recently.

Guys, there were some Celtic fans who are so obsessed with us, they went to the bother of setting up fake accounts where the actually bought Rangers tops to intentionally damage them and post online in the hope of ridiculing Castore and the club. How sad is that?
They are off the scale with some of the stuff they do!
I was working at the Herald and Times when a bunch of them clubbed together (over 2k) to take out a full page advert claiming Rangers were a new club and the old Rangers had died when we drew them in the cup.
I kid you not, the one who finalised it is a so called author who wrote a piece of nonsense on their journey to Seville.
Wasting so much money when kids are starving, diseases are rife, and charities are having to close, how mental is that?

I honestly thought some of the name calling and comments on here regarding tav, when he wasn't playing anywhere near his best last season was bang out of order! He's the glasgow rangers captain for god's sake. Its fair enough to say he was playing poorly etc because he was, but some of the comments sickened me TBH! Gerrard was a great captain himself and if he sees fit by making tav the captain he sees this guy at training everyday and that will do for me 👍.

SGL. This year has been tavs by far best season so far. He has clearly really been working on his defensive game. So credit to him. But up until last season he was a major weak link every single season i think that was pretty clear for all to see. And am sure everybody who moaned at him myself included are now being proved wrong. But yes it has taken him a good few years to get to this consistant level and cut out constant howlers.

Here we go! When players are not playing well, giving possession away which results in our biggest rivals scoring, causing goals in Europe etc then they deserve criticism regardless of how good we know they can be (it part and parcel of the game) . Remember, you yourself have criticised players on here SGL.
Right now Tav is priceless to our team and that's testament to his hard work and determination to turn things around!

I was actually going to create a post yesterday along those lines and say something about if he were to leave it would be for big money as he must be one of the best, certainly on these isles. I also don't think I'm being over the top when I say that, look at his numbers and the experience he has. That all stacks up, open to interpretation of course, like everything.
