another good comfortable result today so no complaints there,
BUT we clocked up 25 shots of which only 11 were on target which again highlights the question, do we need that goal poacher figure that many have mentioned recently?
We have shown a level of consistency in this area and I think the Hibs match had similar figures, it just worries me a wee bit that we maybe need to be a bit more ruthless in the box and get some shooting practise at Murray park?

Yes we do.

Wee Bill. 4-0? Come on. The guy who everyone is saying isn't a striker scored 2 again. I said earlier I might fancy him out on the right because he goes past guys for fun out there but let's have it right. Another convincing 3 points after being robbed last week. Onwards n upwards. If we keep winning who cares what hibs n co do. We welcome the chase.

I don't know if shooting practice at Murray Park will help. The youngsters on loan can't shoot and maybe the academies and their regimented practices are to blame for that. Then again perhaps that's why they're at Ibrox. To add shooting to their game.
We miss and squander far too many goal chances and it's difficult to watch at times. Defence is looking pretty solid, midfield great at regaining possession and the final strike or toe in at goal pretty damn poor. As for corners, don't get me started on that again.

Wee Bill
Not sure about the "similar figures" in Hibs match more 11/2
and 1 of the 2 was off target and deflected in for an own goal.
Ok "we were unlucky" against Hibs should have had a penalty and hit the woodwork 3 times!
13/5 and 10/6 in previous matches against Hibs were much more productive.

I suppose it's the old ' you can please some of the people' syndrome. We've just won 4-0 at a canter and are making chances for fun. We're dominating possession in every match and most of our football is excellent. I'll just say 2 words which everybody should maybe ponder before criticising a team that's just won 4-0. Ally McCoist.

Could not agree more.

The seeker
Sorry but there is nothing wrong with criticising a team if supporters have a point. Are you saying your happy with the striking situation at the club? Do you think the current strikers we have can cut it in the Premiership and challenge Celtic? I think it's a fair comment about needing a quality striker so don't know why you have to try and turn the comment around. As for your Ally McCoist remark what's he got to do with it. He is gone and we need to move forward and progress as a team.

We are not in the Premiership. Why spend money just now when we are more than good enough to win this division? The reason I mentioned Ally is just to remind everyone what could have been. Surely you get that?
