Rangers definitely WON'T b signing Christophe berra and I for one am glad, I don't rate berra and never have and I've heard the deal is dead anyway as berra had wanted far too much money, the big French/tunisian centre half we have on trial bilel mohsni is a very good centre half and we are definitely going to sign him also bosnian centre half boris pandza is signing and both these players between them are not getting what berra wanted for himself, what a cheek and he's nowhere near as good as both mohsni & pandza, good riddance berra and be on your way!

Yyeah I said for a while that deal died, but for me its a blessing because I honestly just think we should just try and nail down big moshni, we may have a fight for that though as according to reports Sam Alerdyce and Ian holloway are still looking at him, even though he is on trail with us. Get him signed Ally. Also reading Reports we Mather has held talks with Pandza at advanced stage. I personly think those 2 centre halfs would be ideal. And I think that once they 2 get used to playing together we actually could b solid at the back. Those 2 seem the most likely and my preference anyway what do other Gers fans think?

Agree0 Disagree0

Would suggest we sign Mohsni now, do not wait or someone else will jump in.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 what do you base it on that he's good? Come on it was a highland league team we were playing against.

Agree0 Disagree0

Re 3) seen a number of times, take my word the lad is a good one.

Random question on the off chance anyone knows

What's the max number of season tickets we can sell?

obviously the away side must have some sort of allocation so how much total can we sell

I know we won't sell out yadda yadda, purely hypothetical random question

Believable0 Unbelievable0

42,000 If playing Paranoid FC or Hearts, their fans could fill a stand (Broomloan) also don't forget about segregation, safety, etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

When have hearts ever had 8,000 at ibrox for a league game before? Also Celtic won't play rangers in a league game for at least 2 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Last time I saw them fill the Broomloan was when they nearly won the league in the 85/86 season

Just posting to say that big bilel mohsni was tremendous today for rangers against Brora rangers, the big man looks the part and just what we're needing, he's a no nonsense commanding centre half, I think mccoist will definitely sign him although he's only on trial just now

Anyone know the Rangers score today?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

2-0 to rangers mate

Agree0 Disagree0

RANGERS made a winning start to their pre-season campaign as substitute Lewis Macleod’s double gave them a comfortable 2-0 win over Highland League outfit Brora
AJM.

Agree0 Disagree0

2-0 to rangers, macloed got both goals

Agree0 Disagree0

Yup 2-0 against the highland minnows, Brora. interestingly Inverness CT were also playing their first pre-season warm up game against highland opposition today and won 9-0. NINE-NIL. against Keith. SPM

Agree0 Disagree0

Not bad at all, might be a friendly but as long as the youngsters are impressing I'm happy

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 come on mate give them a chance! The Rangers haven't had a pre-season for their pre-season games, that is why it was only 2! I am sure if they had of had a pre-season for their pre-season they would have hammered 10 past them!
Plus they prob never had a SPL referee either! I heard the minnows had a goal chopped off too!

Agree0 Disagree0

@4. Aye, but look at it in context. We scored 2 against 11 men; and they could only manage 9 against 1 guy! This Keith fellie needs to get a few mates or he'll definitely be getting relegated

Agree0 Disagree0

Interestingly Ross County made a trip up to Brora with a reasonably strong side & lost 2-0, then there's Celtic lost there 1st two friendlies suppose we can only beat what's infront of us.

its still 77 years since an Englishman won Wimbledon. fact. deecee

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The last guy was not even full english

Agree0 Disagree0

OP what you talking about? Andy's girlfriend is English isn't she? I am sure it will be written in history that she was the only reason andy won!

Well done Andy! The worlds greatest tennis player Tim henman (according to the English press at the time) couldn't do it and I am glad it was a Scotsman who showed them up! That really must be hard for the English to handle pmsl!

Agree0 Disagree0

@1. aye, he was a couple of mushrooms short of a breakfast.

Well done andy Murray, made in Scotland, one of the best sporting achievements ever and I bet him from the start at 4/1, my tenner got me 50 quid back, your made from girders andy, go on andy, absolutely brilliant, all Scotland is so proud of you, what a day you've given me, this day & memory will live with me forever!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ivan Lendl has made an amazing difference to Andy's game.
Amazing what a great coach can do to turn an almost guy into a champion.

We love you andy woo!

Imagine how far you could go if you replaced Ally with Ivan

Just like to say Good luck to Andy Murray today & if he loses I'm in the money just got Djokovic at 13/10 inplay win win really but I'd give up the cash for Murray to win.

It really was guys I'd have lost that cash anyday of the week for that outcome. What an awesome performance From Murray to win never mind in straight sets nearly filled up man. Deecee love that post about it still being 77 years since an Englishman won. Il be outraged if they still call that Henman hill next year the guy wasn't half the player Murray is & he's done a nation proud today. Well done Andy

Looks like Emilson Cribari may be leaving according to reports in the sunday papers, would free up some wages as I would think he was on a decent amount, may yet see more leaving.

in regard to ian black a terrible player on a over inflated wage he should go as quickly as possible if we can get rid

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's been there over a year now and been found wanting in all those terrible games. Useless in cups. This is a manager lack of judgement waiting to happen in my book. Matey friendship before club requirements.

Agree0 Disagree0

Black must be the worst corner kick taker I've ever seen and ally had him taking corners and free kicks last year.

Embarrassing to see some of the people at yesterday's Orange Walks wearing Rangers colours. I've never understood all that. These are not fans of Rangers, they are bigots who associate themselves with Rangers as a way of venting their hatred towards Catholics because they think that's what Rangers stands for. Every true fan knows that's not true. I am not against Orange Walks, they are about celebrating the history, heritage and beliefs of a group of people, so as far as I'm concerned they are within their rights to have these organised parades. My issue is with the mindless persons who use it as an excuse to get drunk, shout obsecenties and do it while wearing the colours of our great club. They give the rest of us a bad name.

Welcome to the real world brother.

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet you if you had to ask 99% of the ones walking up the pavements the nationality of King William III they would say Irish or Scottish lol.

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree completely mate. Was unfortunate enough to get on a bus back from the city centre two years ago and the atmosphere was apalling with the main chant totally vile. This was the element that shamed us in Manchester and I doubt many even visit Ibrox once a year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest how many attend the kirk or know who thier local minister is but would still argue that they were upholding protestant traditions. A once noble organisation blighted by assosiation and so out of date they have a bebo account and mullets

Shiels, Temps and Hegarty didn't travel

Genuine question bears- why are you even bothering with the cups? Why don't you just get your heads down and win the leagues with the minimum squad and fuss?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cause this is Rangers, we not hamitlton accies, we win cups and want cups

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I agree about the Ramsden's Cup but according to the Ed and others we can actually win a Europa Cup place by winning the Scottish Cup or being beaten by Celtic in the final (who let's face it will win the SPFL), something achieved by Hibs last year. Wouldn't rule that out with the squad we have if Ally gets his act together.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2) its already been explained rangers cannot get into the Europa cup due to zero accounts for four years now.
Three years accounts are required according to a Uefa rule to even start in a European qualifying tournament.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2, you don't have 3 years membership or accounts, uefa will not let you play. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 you are wrong

I'm a wolves fan coming in peace, I love rangers and I feel so sorry for what's happened to your club but please take me advice, Berra is terrible! he's one of the reasons my club has fallen on harsh times, he may be okay until you get SPL, but if you aiming to build a team to get to Europe as soon as possible then I think it's best you set your sights on a young lad like Wilson (Liverpool just released) and train him up yourselves

Simmo

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Train Wilson up ourselves who do you think got him to a standard that Liverpool saw and wanted. We sold him to Liverpool. WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

@ Simmo

We did train Danny Wilson up. He came through our academy as a teenager and played in the Champions League, Old Firm games and a Cup Final. He also got a Championship winner's medal. However he has signed for and been appointed captain of Hearts, so won't be rejoining Rangers.

As for your point about Berra, I agree. He is shocking and even at the level we are at will be a bomb scare defensively for one reason, he CAN'T DEFEND.

SCRSC

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you on about Simmo. Apart from not being able to tackle, pass, head a ball all this plus having the pace of a lame cart horse, he's fine. Best of luck for next season.

Blueice

Agree0 Disagree0

Wilson will now be a liability at hearts he was ok beside davy weir

Agree0 Disagree0

Slagging off Berra remember at liverpool Wilson was nicknamed the defender who couldn't defend
