Sometimes I pinch myself . If you look at what dross walked off the park last game of season who would have seen this coming. Superb and let's go.

Either kent/ middleton or murphy for wide left, I'd got for middleton got bags of potential. The st position will most likely be a new signing. Very similar to teams that gerrard has picked already😉.

I watched a compilation of his goals for zagreb on youtube, now before anyone says so, i know these things aren't particularly reliable and we don't know about the standard of opposition etc, but what stood out for me was the variety of goals he scored. Headers, shots from outside the area, penalties, goals with both feet and last but not least, tap ins - anyone can score them but the art is in being at the right place at the right time. If he comes he could be a great signing. this team is starting to excite me.

I'm really starting to like what I see, for the first time in years we actually feel like Rangers again . On the evidence when he played against us Barasic in my opinion will be an excellent signing and the deal was done quickly with minimum hassle ( something else that's been missing for a long time) . I belive that Lafferty will be bought in along with another Striker then I'm sorry if I'm getting ahead of myself it's game on, I don't care who they bring in at Parkhead this side we r constructing is a very different animal than we've had even a year or 3 prior to the banter years . We look hungry, talented, full of energy, fantastic at the back and as said before an addition or 2 up top then it's time to put some serious pressure on Brenda and I think once this happens Brenda will collapse, looking at Brenda at the moment he doesn't look happy or sound happy and now is our turn to make sure he stays that way . I really hope as a club in general from the top, through to the players and onto the fans that we all stay positive, stand shoulder to shoulder and be proud that RANGERS ARE BACK 🔵⚪🔴🔴⚪🔵.

Can I please urge all supporters and their families to not buy the Daily Record, I know most loyal fans would never give this rag the time of day but it has now got totally out of control with its bias towards Rangers, they are now spouting that Rangers fans stopped at Stonehaven on their way to Aberdeen and went for a walk down to the beach shouted at a man (Off duty policeman) and his 3 year old son and before they left they kicked his sandcastle over, you couldn't make it up, no phone footage or anything in this day and age is unheard of, yet the Daily record have it. Then they go on to say if they are not Brawling and stabbing they resort to kicking kids sandcastles over. The police are still continuing with their enquiries over the brawling and stabbings, however the Record have us guilty. This has got to stop and the way to do it is hurt them in their pockets.

He’s only in the door five minutes and can clearly see the level of refereeing is poor yet every journalist seems happy to ignore. So obvious the challenge on Ryan jack was premeditated, yet nothing said or done - obvious example of endangering the opponent, not dealt with by the referee- Why hasn’t this been looked at by the disciplinary panel? . I was over the moon with Sunday’s fight / spirit and look forward to us adding a couple of strikers and getting rid of windass. Hopefully big Lafferty will score against them on Sunday and join us Monday 😜🇬🇧.

Buzultra. This story was in the Evening Express too. I was surprised by the trivial reporting but are you saying that it didn’t happen? Not every story in the papers is backed up by mobile phone footage. If there’s been trouble after the Wigan game, trouble before the Europa game, a bottle thrown at the Aberdeen game - we are fair game for the press and every actual or alleged fan indiscretion will be reported. Perhaps the focus should be on calling out the persons who tarnish the reputation of our club rather than blame the media, which is too easy and a kop-out.

I think we need another striker but we were top goalscorers in the league last season, and now significantly strengthened in midfield and at the back. Look dangerous at set pieces as well.

Is it just me or is anyone else confused as to why so many want another CB when we clearly need a striker. I mean to be any club, never mind the mighty rangers and only have one proper striker worries me. The fins are in a similar ISH position but we need to be shooting higher than that and I really worry about it over the course of a season in league cups and Europe too.

Looking at our Europa league draw I feel we have to be extremely happy with it, 3 beatable teams potentially ahead of us, 4 games to go, if we make the Europa league group stages we get £2.3million then £319k per win and £120k per draw.
Now I know I'm getting slightly ahead of myself and we still have 4 hard fixtures
But I feel if we go sign a really quality striker for say £5 million we would make the group stages and the money would start to come back in.
Whoever the mystery funder is that is backing Gerrard. let's go £

The days of spending £5M on 1 player are over. I agree we need to add a top striker ASAP but my feeling is only way we will do that is via a loan signing. Get Laff in and hopefully a surplus prem league striker.

Barisic is not here to sit on the bench so who plays where. I personally would like to go 3 5 2 with Jack sitting in front of back 3. There's no way Flanagan deserves to be dropped and tav is the captain so won't be dropped so only way I can see to accommodate them 3 is barisic and tav wing backs.

Stevie G wants his FB to defend and play most of game in own half to stay in a solid shape. This allows our wide midfielders to do likewise but mainly in opposition half. I’d be playing Flannigan at RB before Tav. our back 4 would have 4 strong aggressive guys who want to defend.

There is no mystery here we are using season ticket money, soft loans and sales. reduction of wages of some rubbishe players we never should have been interested in. There is no major investment/ investors. We are trying to live within our means, he certainly loan signings. There is no great mystery or conspiracy, just a club learning from previous mistakes. I am sure there will be those who click against but they probably still wear a shirt from the 80sand believe we are still that power house. Sorry to sound harsh but am fed up of the crap I read sometimes on here. Glad we sined that left back but really need to get a CF or possibly two now.

Does anyone else think Josh Windass could make it as a striker? He got a good few goals last season in the number 10 roll he clearly has an eye for goal and loves scoring I would definitely say he’s a better finisher than Morelos I think he’s totally ineffective in the wide position and goes missing to much while in midfield but I think we’re going to regret selling him if he leaves.

That’s a shocking statement! Murty wasn’t the right choice but to say he couldn’t run a training session is a disgrace. He’s is still a very well respected coach within the game and there is a massive difference from being a youth development coach to being the manager of Rangers.

If John leaves and Wallace stays it is clear that Gerrard wants a team of big men. Out of the full backs left John is the smallest and could be targeted by bigger teams. Not sure how we will line up with barisic coming in but I think he will be either first choice lb or part of a back 3. But seems like we are getting a team of athletes.

I’m not one for complaining about referees decisions to be honest however if you take all instances involving Ryan Jack since he came to us then we clearly have been treated shabbily by officials. This is fact and I hope he gets more protection moving forward. It’s important that the referees know that we have a manager in the dugout who will highlight their inconsistency in a calm and respectful way, I don’t remember any complaints from the dark side when it was Neil Lennon roasting the officials on a regular basis last season. I suppose it just st means they care 😉.

Something has to be done to protect our players. It seems to be expected and accepted that teams batter in to Rangers players multiple times in every game with the officials doing next to nothing about it. The Ryan Jack one is just the latest incident a brutal disgusting challenge with intent to hurt ending with the young lad in hospital, no card (incredible) no apology from May, Aberdeen fans cheering and laughing . It's not just Aberdeen it's all teams Motherwell Hibs Celtic ect, they all do it and nothing done, Well Enough Rangers should seek a meet with the powers at be and strongly raise there concerns and threaten to go higher if needed. c'mon us.
