Why are no Scottish media outlets using BBCs example of Debrecen £15,000 fine for fielding an ineglible player in the dying minutes of a match that was clearly already won. Uefa ruled that Debrecen, who won 4-1 on aggregate, had "no interest in fielding this player for the three last minutes of additional time, when the score was so clearly in its favour" - surely an identical solution will arise from a 6-1 victory - precedence has been set by Uefa already.

your right m8, precedent been set, no worries bout replay, it was 2 minutes for gods sake, even septic fans will agree its nonsense, well sum of them, a fine will follow no doubt

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe because that example is wrong mate. Debrecen fielded a player with a registration problem this player was clearly suspended.

Agree0 Disagree0

I see the unwashed think the will be re instated to big cup I think its all wrong but the are saying rules are rules

Agree0 Disagree0

Precedent also set (funny enough it involved Celtic) against Swiss team. However, then it was not about one player and they played more than two minutes. I think if boot was on other foot we would all be looking for Legia to be punished. That said, I don't think anyone involved with Celtic could complain if the result was a slap on the wrist and a fine. The player had absolutely no bearing on the result and might even have assisted in killing time by coming on and saving them from losing another goal. They were dross, not just over, in both games. Celtic drop into Eurpoa qualifying and then, based on their recent performances, oot on their erchies.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't count my chickens where that club are corncerned. there seem to be too many decisions over the years that seem to go their way or are sweeped under the carpet. there are dark forces working within and around that club, mark my words!!

I'm struggling to see why he was suspended. He was sent off last year and suspended for 3 matches. Missed both at pat's games and first celtic game!

Fauldsrfc

Agree0 Disagree0

He was suspended because Legia did not register him for the St Pat's matches so they didn't count towards his suspension. Stupidity on their part; someone should get their jotters

Agree0 Disagree0

Legia Warsaw are to appeal. If there is any justic they will be reinstated citing the Debrecen precedent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op, the difference is between suspended and in ineligible. The club failed to register the player (fit, injured, suspended or whatever) for the requisite 3 games so he never served his suspension. The rule states the consequences. With so much money at stake what other option did EUFA have? Fair-NO, Correct-YES. It is what it is.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5, just to clarify, which team are you talking about, Celtic or Rangers?

Surely the powers that be need to have a word with hearts manager Robbie neilson about his remarks regarding game on sunday & referee's by saying they have been training with 10 v 11 and suggesting players get sent off when they come down here.

They have had players sent off in 3 of the last 6 games according to what RN has said. Makes sense to practice 10 v 11. His comments regarding referees being 'pressured' could cause some interest though

Agree0 Disagree0

Its totally out of order some action should be taken but I don't suppose we will get any help from s f a now with the change of members

Uck never mind what he's saying to the press, it's a bit of reverse psychology on his part! He's trying to get a head start, because he knows what's coming, a defeat! Young daft niave manager trying to b smart but looking daft stupid and desperate to all to c, allan Stubbs came out and said he's had another look at the tackle again, and he's NOW choosed NOT to appeal the red card that was given, c'mon THE BEARS COME SUNDAY

Agree0 Disagree0

Best action on this is to stuff them on the pitch - that might shut him up!!

@ 3&4 nice one lads

Agree0 Disagree0

Easy way to keep your 11 players on the park robbie, play within the rules!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Mr Macdonald! Totally in Agreement with you! the Jambos have always had trouble keeping 11 on the pitch at Ibrox (remember the time they were left with 7). Best answer to Nielsen, just give them a drubbing and lay down a marker for the rest of the league.

Reallysorry to see Celtic demise, now sales will put another £20 million in coffers. this is what Lawwell, Thomson, Brown & Sutherland have led us to with their efforts to put Rangers in "there place"i. e. division three. Scottish football will now further decline, all selling clubs[desparately] let's open a sweepstake for crowd Ross County v Hamilton mid-week, winter and the government/S. F. A watch it all collapse around them

You do remember the last time we were in the spl with Celtic and our attempt at CL qualification?

Aye and the same man is at the helm

Ronnie diala taxi won't last long just brought in as a scapegoat

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember it well, we finished second and but for the crime that was imposed upon us we would have been in the Champions League qualifiers. How's your memory?

Agree0 Disagree0

Jonnostb- I remember going out embarrassingly at the first stages of the CL & the Euros. I don't remember any crime against us though (unless you mean the crime of the board deceiving us, the fans)

Totally glad celtics out! Feel for the fans though, not a good place to b in for them, but am laughing my head off at lawwell, since rangers have been where they where, and where their at, at this moment in time, he's gets asked y aren't we spending? Y aren't we bringing through youth? Y aren't we trying to buy young Scottish players, instead of going for foreign duds? He simple answers his supporters with the line. . well look across the city to our rivals and you's should no y we aren't spending! WRONG ANSWER PETER, rangers aren't your rivals anymore, at this moment in time, tell the fans the truth, you's haven't got the money you bang on about, you's canny spot a decent player, and the league you's r in, is the worst SPL league EVER!

Agree0 Disagree0

Colin macdonald I can say for the first time I agree with your post completly lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig whyte becoming owner of rangers was a crime in itself

Agree0 Disagree0

@Scarecrow - If you don't consider what happened to Rangers a crime then I have to ask questions. Not just now though. However, with that username are you Paddy McCourt?

Nbear, twmnn etc you must be gutted, not only did we win but Ally played 2 up front then made a tactical change that swung the game back in our favour roll on Sunday. Its a very sad day when all the moaners have to moan about is the low attendance which, by the way, was a record for the Petrovac trophy!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jyf. take your head out the sand mate. i'm not going to justify why our manager played two up front or whatever. if your happy to pay to watch that guff more the fool you!

Agree0 Disagree0

OP, you're havin' a laugh! I didn't realise it was ally's tactics to get the Hibs lad sent off, as up till then they were by far the better team in the second half. We scrape by the worst team in the SPL last season, once they were reduced to ten men and all of a sudden ally is up there with Fergie and Jose as a tactical genius. Aye, very good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf no actually were not gutted because our team went through. Difficult concept for you? Well let's see if this wee analogy helps.
Captain Ally and the Easdales and Mr Wallace are wanting us to join them in a luxury hyper expensive cruise ( no for them they get paid- by us) across the Atlantic. We have all seen how the liner is constructed including the £14.4million worth of big holes in the hull. The on board entertainment by the way is widely recognised to be not the best although the acts are all very generously remunerated by us. You lexlau alias John Cass alias bonbon geo the ger, colin mcdonald, jonnostb etc etc jump straight on because you are proper fans. Bigcol, twmnn, billyb, Blue Velvet, me and some others try and point out all the structural faults and doubt the vessels capability to reach port in the eastern seaboard of America some 3,000 miles away and wish you well but decide to support the ship from dry land.
Others like SG75 and BT61 are not sure but because they still have faith in Ally and don't like our negativity even though they too have seen all the holes or structural faults they get on the ship.
3 different sets of opinions about the good ship Rangers. Now who is going to get wet? Answer all of us because the ship has so many holes it will sink and soak us all without leaving the dock
And the only happy laughy ones then will be the Selik and others who dispise us. Now I take some solace from the fact that while we will get wet such is the passion amongst all three sets of fans we will probably still build a new better boat without the holes. And I would rather be us than the pathetic cretins who despise us to such a degree that they get their biggest pleasure in life from our possible permanent drowning.
I just want that new boat quicker than you do pal- that's the only real difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good analogy Nbear - we want a leaner, fitter more efficient ship, with no leaks and some decent entertainment, doesn't need to finish first every time but needs to compete.

Can I point out though that I lost faith in Ally as a manager a long long time ago. I've only defended him on here at times when the comments got ridiculous, like comparing him to Craig Whyte and Charles Green.

A true Rangers man, who talks b*llocks, and is a poor manager sums him up for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

What swung the game our way was sending off hibs player

Agree0 Disagree0

Until the easdales take a tumble and chop ally we will never see good football from rangers only the opposition alan stubbs has had little time with his team but they looked not to bad ally many years and I don't need to tell u the answer ta

Agree0 Disagree0

Never been more embarressed to read my name in a post like that. Are you sure your a pensioner?

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Aug 2014 16:33:05
Yeah great tactics. let's play two players out of position to shoe in McCulloch and Black.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha Nbear. magic. my only problem with your post is my wee dug didnae get a mention. a mean he can dae all sorts of tricks!
Lex lau ye need tae get wae the program mate. I thought a wee bit of banter here and there defuses any tension. look if you've got a wee bit of sand in your vagina just wash it out and come and join the fun.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't mind banter, there's an absolute lack of it on here

@ 7 stunning contribtion as always bon bon -ya wee sweetie.
"Never been more embarassed to read my name in a post like that" Guess you don't read your own posts Johnny boy.?
"Are you sure your a pensioner?" No I'm sure I am not a pensioner! Are you sure your not still at school? When you played football with the bigger boys did you Heid the Ball a lot? Was your favourite class the one marked NO?
Oaft jog on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Op we all want rangers to win but its people like you and the rest of the supers that will gladly watch us hit the rocks as nbear forgot to mention it wouldn't matter how many holes were in the ship until the ship gets a real captian it will always sink and as I look back at my post I think its the super carlsbergs you are drinking

Agree0 Disagree0

Assumed you were a pensioner, when bigcol told colin stop picking on a pensioner! Being honest your comments are cringeworthy, we are on a ship trying to reach America 3,000 miles away? Jog on? No probs big man!

Agree0 Disagree0

@13. I said that tongue in cheek!

I can't buy a season ticket as I live too far away but I can't help thinking as a group, we are pushing our best friends head under the water, when in fact we should be supplying water wings.
The place was spooky last night - come on guys, support the club in its hour of need before it's too late. What has happened to the fantastic support in div 2 and div 1??
Now we are only one level down, and can climb to the top of the mountain, but we NEED to do it together.
The team, the management and the board all need our support, irrespective of how we view them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wee bill I see by your post you are happy enough with the strange going ons att our club but there are those that ain't happy so how can we support something we don't agree with ask yourself that your post makes me think you would back a horse after known the race has been run and your horse has been beaten

Agree0 Disagree0

Wee Bill. if you'd been at Ibrox for the last 2 seasons you would understand why so many fans are walking away.

Not just because of the spivs on the board and the way they are bleeding the club dry. the product on the field is awful and shows no sign of improving. I've seen grown men cry at the standard of football we are playing!

On the evidence. I'd sell Murray Park, as we obviously don't use it for anything worthwhile! We certainly don't practice passing, free kicks, corners or work on fitness!

I'll pay game by game. not giving them my money up front until things change.

wee bill go back to sleep, we have been shat on for the last few years, if i had my way there would be no one at the games, till this trash have gone.and please when the time comes take that clown mccoist with you

Agree0 Disagree0

Spivs out. well said!

Agree0 Disagree0

1, 2, 3 and 4 I agree with what you are all saying but who will you go to watch when our club disappears? we could still have a club to support if we look at the bigger picture, but pride comes before a fall, remember that!

Spivs out excelent post mate wee bill at 5 maybe you should heed your own advise pride comes before a fall
