Great result today - confidence booster ahead of next weekend.

Was at Ibrox today, king Kenny to the rescue in first half, and we got there after Dundee tired out, very nervy first half.

3 points we should be earning no issues and on that note I’ll offer my neck on the line and suggest that our next gaffer should be Rafa Benitez.

08 Apr 2018 09:04:57
There is no chance he will be the next Manager

08 Apr 2018 09:08:00
we can but dream

07 Apr 2018 22:15:58
I know i like a poll guys but I feel with our very important old firm semi final coming up next sunday, i would be much obliged ED, if you would kindly run this poll for me amongst all us fellow bears! I said coming back from today's game against dundee, that i would want murty to start andy halliday, against celtic next sunday in the semi final, to add a bit of steel and dig to our very lightweight midfield! Halliday played well against dundee today, when he came on for greg docherty! So ED, could you please run a poll ie. should andy halliday start in our midfield against celtic, in the scottish cup semi final at hampden, next sunday! Cheers ED!

{Ed033's Note -

andy halliday Poll

08 Apr 2018 09:07:00
Halliday has been rank rotten for us since we got back to the premiership he isn’t good enough. Has a decent 25 mins yesterday then all of a sudden he is the answer for next week. Think some people need to calm down

08 Apr 2018 10:29:23
he played well against a tiring dundee. if he played first half they would have one. dorrans and docherty were both rank, lost count of wayward passes from dorrans

07 Apr 2018 20:27:50
Pssst bears, anyone want to buy a credit card, scchhoosh keep it quiet between us.

07 Apr 2018 20:35:14
Don't reply anyone.

07 Apr 2018 20:48:05
Saturday night and Timaperson is on our site?
Whit a NUGGET 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

08 Apr 2018 01:09:30
Timalloy is definitely a virgin

08 Apr 2018 10:09:36
Banter is banter ed but this guy talks the biggest load of balls I ever came across on these pages, not to mention his imaginary pals he has lunch with on a Sunday, he also refers to one of them as the bigot in the suit.
Tinally just one question do you dry clean that suit every week because it must be reeking of urine by now.

07 Apr 2018 18:40:35
It's strange with 6 games to go we have no mention of new strip supplier for next year? Maybe contract with Sports Direct the problem? 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

07 Apr 2018 20:09:42
There is NO contract with SD next year.

07 Apr 2018 20:55:22
Our sports direct contract comes to an end in august guys!

08 Apr 2018 09:59:34
An you can bet they will not be allowed to mention the new supplier until the contract expires in August? 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

08 Apr 2018 11:39:14
Yately my take on it is the puma kit deal is separate now from the SD deal mate! Remember when ashley agreed 2 the pay off last year the original SD contract was ripped up and a new 1 year deal was signed which of course ceases in august! I truly think we will know our new kit manufacturer long before august mate! There's stories circulating that the kits may be getting manufactured in house! Time will tell

07 Apr 2018 17:37:47
I really don't know what fans want 4 nil hit the woodwork a couple of times and some fans on here complaining about kenny startin morales not for me ect and the same poor dundee took 2 points off of the unclean.
Win 4 nil ugly will do me any day of the week.

07 Apr 2018 17:49:19
I am pleased with a 4-0 win against anyone and hope we win semifinal. There's talent in our squad but we've been so inconsistent. This season could've been so much better

07 Apr 2018 18:05:53
Morelos, you're as bad as the commentators lol

07 Apr 2018 19:11:27
I don't know what anyone else thinks and i said this before the end of the game today, amongst my copland road pals! I'd play andy halliday in our midfield next sunday, against celtic! Thought halliday played well when he came on for docherty today! He'll bring much added dig and steel to our midfield next week! The game is always won and lost in midfield and with celtic being particularly strong in there i would certainly tweek our formation, overload and beef up our midfield! It imo could go a long way to us having a decent chance of winning the game! We can't allow yet again brown and co all the room in the world, to strutt about and do their stuff, otherwise we will most definitely lose again! Honour where honour is due and horses for courses so its not like me to say this, but halliday should be starting in our midfield next sunday!

07 Apr 2018 19:26:21
He changed the game today. I've always said he gets unfair treatment from our fans. i'd definitely play him next week. The dilemma is which I play along side him as both Dorrans and Doc were poor today.

07 Apr 2018 19:57:05
I'm not Hallidays biggest fan but when he came on today it allowed Dorrans to move further forward and he unquestionably looked better when trying to get into the opposition's box.

07 Apr 2018 20:01:24
Graham dorrans doesn't look nowhere near match fit, whereas docherty is match fit and a very fit midfielder in general! So there lies your answer mate

07 Apr 2018 20:11:21
Dorrans is played to deep. He should have been playing off Morelos today.

07 Apr 2018 20:16:52
Are you not overlooking that Halliday replaced Docherty today though . Dorrans definitely looks better further forward his natural position and that’s something that lots here have known and been saying for a long time. That being said I could agree to Halliday playing next week.

07 Apr 2018 20:20:28
Halliday was neat and tidy when he came on. Docherty got caught up in the occasion last time we played them. Don’t think Dorrans is fit enough yet. Miller did well today. Lots of energy and more off a voice than Windass.

07 Apr 2018 20:30:06
I was really impressed with Halliday when he came on and I agree he is a far better player than he is given credit for. He looked sharp, fit and hungry. Might be a good shout for next week. His only problem is that he is sometimes too casual on the ball and gets caught in possession too often. I'm hearing he has been getting his head down and is training well so maybe worth a wee curve ball. On another note, what has happened to see Holt? Is he injured?

07 Apr 2018 21:02:32
I don't know why wee holty is completely out the picture just now the seeker! As you've probably read on hear many times, i'm a fan of jason holt and always have been! He's a total pest to the opposition who doesn't give any opposition midfielder a wink of peace! He's a tenacious wee character! Never hides and covers every blade of grass! The wee man has a terrific engine and fit as a butchers dog! Every team IMHO needs a midfielder like wee holty!

07 Apr 2018 21:41:35
Halliday played well today

08 Apr 2018 09:09:49
Halliday has been rotten since we were promoted. He was shown up last season and was particularly poor when we played them especially in the semi final last year. After 25-30 mins of playing decent against Dundee suddenly he is the answer?

08 Apr 2018 11:53:49
Nobody is insinuating that andy halliday is a world beater or the long term answer! We have to try something different against them, in the midfield area on sunday! We have to stop brown bullying and dominating that midfield area, like he has been doing for far too much old firm games now! We need more steel and grit in there on sunday and let broony the loony know he's been in a game! He's getting it all his own way and its been far too easy for him! If we stop him, imoGrunch56 we have a major chance of beating them!
Just like the semi final when we beat them on penalties around 2 years ago now, i'd put andy halliday in there against brown and not give him a wink of peace or any time on the ball! Halliday when we beat them 2 years ago never gave brown a sniff! let's give halliday the chance to stand on him again and see how he copes with someone getting into his mince and continually breathing down his neck! Broony has proved on previous he doesn't cope well with that in yer face attitude! We need fighters in the midfield where as always the game will be won or lost! Can't afford to be lightweight once again ARTHUR D! I want fighters next week, not hiders! Try and see where i'm coming from instead of wrongly thinking, we all now think halliday's suddenly a world beater! Look beyond that and try understand my post!

07 Apr 2018 16:57:23
That's a good result today. Scoring 4 goals is good, even if it was against a poor Dundee side. Makes you think what might've been if we had beaten killie, st jonstone, Hamilton. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

07 Apr 2018 17:24:47
Have to say this was the first time I've seen Murty sub at the correct moment. Although I worried when AH came on however he added a calming influence to the midfield and kept possession. I thought Docherty and Dorrans gave the ball away far to much and gave Dundee plenty of lifelines, lucky that Moussa guy didn't have his shooting boots on. I will take 4-0 all day but that scoreline flattered us and we won't get away with that 1st half performance against the top 6. We need to get the right balance of personnel in the middle. Luckily we have a bit of depth at them moment as all players will be required in the last batch of games, that might get us over the line.

08 Apr 2018 10:35:08
murty was forced into the change. everyone could see docherty needed to come off. in my opinion shouldn't have restarted second half.

07 Apr 2018 15:44:32
Morelos offering sweet fa again.

07 Apr 2018 16:31:39
How you could watch that first half and single out Morelos for criticism is beyond me. For me Dorrans has had as poor a game as I have seen in a Gets top.

07 Apr 2018 16:36:25
commentators curse lol

07 Apr 2018 16:37:36
Apart from the goal that's probably secured us the 3 points and put us back in second

07 Apr 2018 16:40:16
And an assist for the third, sweet fa I think not

07 Apr 2018 17:03:54
Also hobos dropping points as well as the sheep

07 Apr 2018 17:30:54
At the time u posted brummie you were correct but there was a good few others also. Much better 60mins onwards but I think Dundee running out of steam might have something to do with that but who cares 3 points 4 nil win the sheep got beat and hopefully accies beat the tims tommorow.

07 Apr 2018 17:34:17
First half shocking, kenny miller got the lead but he was woeful at times. Lack of match fitness showed.

Will take the 3 points. Big week ahead, we need to unite to see this season out.

07 Apr 2018 17:45:09
Good to see Kenny back. If only we could get another couple of good ones at that age to give us the experience we need at times.

07 Apr 2018 18:13:38
It’s no secret on here that I’m far from a Morelos fan. I just don’t feel he wants to be here his face looks like he has a mouthful of sh*te in it and his body language is shocking, but that might just be the way he is (Negri was the same although he did score) . He just doesn’t have a football brain for me, Broxi 17 Christ if he missed that he should have walked off the park all down to a fantastic Candeias assist. Good result today all the same and other results went our way, looking good down the flanks but we badly need a a couple of guys up front.

07 Apr 2018 18:14:54
Morelos was swamped by the defence in the first half. Second half it was clear Dundee are unfit.

Was glad Murty used common sense and took Docherty off in good time, he was clearly having a bad day.
Overall a decent performance, Candeias and McCrorie were best on pitch.

07 Apr 2018 18:33:25
Brummie I kind of know where you are coming from. Your comment brings to mind Daniel Cousin for me, his body language looked all off but if you actually focused in on him for 90 mins you couldn't help but notice the shift he put in.

Having said that I think your a mile of with opinion of Moreles. I can't understand how you can question his commitment when he continuesly chases everything and anyone and clearly loves scoring goals but we are obviously all allowed our own opinions.

07 Apr 2018 18:52:58
Has Dorrans had a good game yet?

07 Apr 2018 18:49:15
Morelos is without doubt the best striker we have his work rate is great he gives his all in every game he is s lone striker and dies it well

07 Apr 2018 20:31:42
Was it my imagination or did Candeias blank Morelos after his goal today . Not sure the boy is liked too much by other players tbh for whatever reason that might be.

07 Apr 2018 21:42:05
Morelos was good worked so hard, . suspended for Celtic league game, let's see how much we miss him

08 Apr 2018 08:27:26
Looks like Morelos is banned for the semi's now anyway. I have a horrible suspicion that Murty is going to pick Miller to start up front and not Cummings. Play 3 in midfield. perhaps Halliday/ Dorrans and Docherty?

08 Apr 2018 09:50:30
Cummings is not good enough not strong enough he isn't worth the £1 mill they are talking about. there are better strikers out there at that price. I'd send him back to Nottingham. I hope he makes me eat my words, but I doubt it.

07 Apr 2018 15:13:49
Once again at home the other team has an xtra midfielder and we have huge gap in the middle. This will cause us problems again.

07 Apr 2018 16:20:54
I take it who ever hit the disagree isn't here at the game. Well I'm not happy with Dundee having more possession in first half and 6 chances. My nails are bit clean off .

07 Apr 2018 17:20:28
CFBear, I agree, keep seeing the opposition sailing through our midfield, our passing first half was poor, too slow to react to the second ball, and our defensive clearances just seem to go straight back to the opposition, we looked better in the second half, but was that us or Dundee getting tired. Ref made some shocking decisions as well, let's see if we can hold on to second now. We need a big result next week.

07 Apr 2018 18:22:21
Scotty accies hibs killie ross county to name a few all put a man in there to run through us and it worked. . We play with 2 in there and some teams have 3 sometimes 4 and leaves us second best in that area. Dundee ran out of steam I felt around 60mins and we took advantage. Thank God or it could have been a struggle like the first half. I am a big believer that at home we should always play with 2 strikers. A 352 or a 442 depending on set up of opposition .

07 Apr 2018 14:18:32
Just seen the line up I knew he would play miller instead of cummings. I agree with mcrorie back in defence but what does that say about Alves is he finished? Good team we should win.

07 Apr 2018 14:24:17
if you're jason cummings you must be wondering why a 39 year old who hasn't played for a while is getting picked ahead of you. Alves was finished when he arrived

07 Apr 2018 14:27:37
Totally agree about Miller, absolute joke. Just send Cummings back to forest now if you’re not going to play him

07 Apr 2018 15:33:23
To his credit, he's 38 and not 39 but well past his best now. He's got a fan base second to none here but if I was Cummings I wouldn't be happy. Wrong call by Murty.

07 Apr 2018 15:43:44
At least Miller scores

07 Apr 2018 16:04:13
🍳🍳🍳😀😀😀

07 Apr 2018 16:37:30
I think he's gave miller the nod as his old firm experience will be needed if windass out not a bad shout tbh though cummings won't be happy

07 Apr 2018 18:21:22
RTID your spot on with that comment kenny loves to score against them.

07 Apr 2018 14:03:13
On Chrome you can get an add-in for free called Hola. It changes the country that the browser is based in e. g USA. Free and sets up in a few minutes.

Rangers TV let's you watch the match live outside the UK and Ireland.

07 Apr 2018 12:41:40
Steven Caulker - would be an ideal signing for CB . Thoughts?

07 Apr 2018 14:19:39
Not seen enough of him. What about kipre?

07 Apr 2018 17:56:04
How did he play?

07 Apr 2018 09:57:06
All the pressure is on us today. If we win our seasons back on track. If we beat Dundee a side smeltic recently only drew with could give the players confidence going into the cup semi?

07 Apr 2018 10:27:42
Spot on RfcChris. There is also a chance that Hearts might take points off the Sheep and Ross County must be on a high after winning 4-0 during the week so might beat Lemon teeth's lot. Could be back in 2nd tonight.

07 Apr 2018 11:31:30
all good points but can't wait for the day that we have to rely on other teams results

Review Of The Day 7th April 2018

07 Apr 2018 07:22:30
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 7th April 2018

07 Apr 2018 06:59:04
I received an email yesterday about Season Ticket renewals

Now I’m as big a bluenose as anybody else on this site, but unless we show some real ambition and demonstrate a true statement of intent on the Manager front, I’m seriously considering not renewing my season ticket

For me and my Son I’m £735.and it will no doubt increase

I don’t know if I could stomach much more of what we’re being served up at Ibrox

Thoughts please bears.

07 Apr 2018 07:58:12
I won't be renewing unless I get to watch ALL home games from my seat.

07 Apr 2018 08:49:06
Greyfriar, if you don’t want to renew, them don’t. If you do, do. Plenty of folk looking for two seats together. I absolutely get that it’s a huge expense and with a family etc. it’s a massive consideration and commitment. That aside, you also have to take the bad times as well as good times. I started going in the lean pre Souness years with paltry crowds and enjoyed the 9IAR success and Manchester final and Champions League runs. Being a football supporter is about lifelong commitment for me anyway. I hope you keep your tickets. But if you don’t, there will be plenty of folk who will.

07 Apr 2018 09:38:48
Totally in agreement LifelongGer! I've followed rangers through good times and without doubt, really bad times! I personally could never stop following the club i love! Been shareholder and season ticket holder for 42 years now and the famous glasgow rangers have given me unbeatable joy and terrific celebrations throughout the years! My moto has always been through thick and thin! Its my biggest hobby supporting glasgow rangers, simple as that! I follow this football institution everywhere! Its an individual's choice of course and everyone of us has different methods and circumstances! We have to respect that of course!

07 Apr 2018 10:11:50
i’ve had my season book and same seat since 89 (my dad wldnt let me go before then said i was too young! )

i’ll be renewing as Rangers are my life, it’s that simple there isn’t an hour goes past i don’t think about results formations, performances, the future, the past .

i totally get how expensive it is and how poor it’s been last few years so everyone is entitled to their opinion and can spend their time and money as they see fit

but i’ll be renewing as i still luv that feeling walking over the footbridge knowing you are going to see goals and a win for my beloved rangers. Ok it doesn't always turn out that way but i’ve had far far more good times than bad so I’ll be there

as the song goes follow follow.

07 Apr 2018 10:48:19
Well said Coops, Trev7 and Lifelong

As Mr Struth said:

Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome.

07 Apr 2018 12:59:27
I too have had a season ticket pre Souness. Started going to see Rangers in the John Grieg years.

I love Rangers and get butterflies in my stomach every match day like a kid at Christmas. I’m 50 years old and Rangers are a huge part of my life.

I totally respect all the comments people have made and in all honesty will likely renew regardless of who’s in charge,

But we need to make a decision soon regarding the Managers position in order to have a degree of stability and start planning for next season

07 Apr 2018 13:26:58
If the u20 coach is still going to be calling the shots I won't be there.

07 Apr 2018 06:00:53
With Windass out? who would we replace him with today? should we go Cummings or do we give McCrorie a shot, would like to see a new formations Being shown

07 Apr 2018 06:19:20
id go mcrorie cntr mid with doc

move dorrans to his natural position as no10

we are poor at cntr half but even poorer cntr mid if you ask me too easily bullied middle park and teams cash in on this every wk

from brief time they’ve spent on park together morelos and cummings doesn’t work guys sorry i’d play either or with dorrans tucked in behind them who can drop back into cntr mid when we don’t have ball to help win it back

07 Apr 2018 08:44:41
Totaly agree trev no7. Dorrans is our best no 10 and midfield is very lightweight and easily bullied mccrorie should go into midfield to add a bit of grit! I know there's a lot of fans crying out for him at cb but I think it would benefit team if he was in midfield

07 Apr 2018 13:05:17
All great comments lads about the Gers!
No doubt last 5 years have been the worst and I know the fans can be a right bunch of moaners but the Rangers fans really have stuck by the club and proved to be the backbone! The Love we all have for Rangers is there for the world to see🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

07 Apr 2018 13:27:59
Morelos is a must we will play one up front and Cummings isn't strong enough to play there, against Celtic it must be Morelos he never gave their defence a minute in last game yes he missed a sitter but it's time to get over that one, down through the years a certain Mr McCoist missed loads of sitters but he got back up and went again
