Here we go the manager is just barely in the door and there's unrest already. what a load of shite the doom merchants strike again. ps what's your opinion rick witter oh wise one? 😂😂.

TBH I think a lot of people are concerned that his 1st 3 games in charge have been against bottom 6 sides and he has only managed 1 win. We played well against Hamilton but we're really poor against Motherwell and Kilmarnock. 2nd place is gone and we are in a battle for 3rd with St Johnstone. Usually you would expect to get a boost with the new manager coming in but it hasn't happened

Touché to be fair and it's frustrating as **** but let's give the guy at least one month of next season tops 😂😂

Don't think anyone is suggesting he is sacked but think it is concerning that things are that poor we are so far behind an average Aberdeen team and only just in front of St Johnstone.

Bengy25,

The results against Motherwell and Kilmarnock were disappointing and the time to judge Caixinha will be next season when he has assessed the current squad and brought in his own players.

A lot is being said about the requirement to bring in someone who has had a previous connection to the club to be part of the coaching team, but the short term objective must be to secure a top 3 finish which gives us a chance to qualify for the Europa League.

With this in mind Murty should be asked to assist with the first team until the end of the season, and then make a permanent appointment from the list of former players who were apparently interviewed.

Lets face it Bears apart from the 4-0 game Caixinha AND THE TEAM! Have not played the best especially against bottom 6 teams. BUT we know that the games against the sheep and tic are the ones he will be scrutinized over the most. Thing is its possible we could win or draw against these teams then down tools when playing the others which is beyond me!

If any hope of 2nd we must beat Thistle AND hope that teams raise their game against them as they do us! All will be forgotten about Caixinhas start if the man brings the Cup back to Ibrox. Being main stage last game of season and lifting the Scottish Cup will generate loads of belief and positively for next season.

I am not judging him and not suggesting he is sacked I'm merely pointing out that it is concerning that we have played so poorly against bottom 6 sides. Yes of course you need to give him time and get his own players in however I think we will struggle to get rid of some of the rubbish we have. Think only Hill, Miller and Senderos are out of contract in the summer and I would be tempted to keep Miller and maybe Hill. Of the players under contract who are clearly not good enough who is going to take them and pay them the same wages? I would doubt Warburton will take many if any so the new manager could be left with the current dross

I admire your positivity regarding the Scottish cup but I really can't see past that lot and I think a treble is nailed on for them. Hope I'm wrong and sorry if you think I'm being negative but that's the way I see it

Bengy25, they have been saying that for the past 6 seasons and it hasn't happened. Wee bit of faith mate. If Rangers struggle to beat bottom 6 sides then its not beyond reason that they could struggle against us. Thistle almost beat them midweek for gods sake. c'mon gers family get buzzing. no more of this rubbish, get behind the manager and team. 2 wins against the Dark side not only turns our season around but also puts a giant pin in theirs.

He's basically admitted he doesn't need Scottish coach if he can get advice from a kitman. This is getting forced on him hence the reason it's taking so long to bring one in.

I know there's already a few posts on here regarding this but i'm hearing a bit of talk about Caixinha and what i'm hearing isn't great. there's a serious problem with communication the players can't quite understand his training techniques and a fair few are far from happy currently with his methods, just hope its just a teething problem and all gets sorted and we can get playing some quality football.

07 Apr 2017 17:18:37
The reason they can't understand is that most of them are bungalows. nothing upstairs!

Kyle1872, I know the head groundsman at ibrox and can confirm your information is correct.

07 Apr 2017 22:26:55
Either that gosman or Pedro is talking pish

07 Apr 2017 22:43:25
Too many have had it to easy. my best mates cousin played for Rangers as a young boy in 2005/ 06 season and was a youth player previous to that and played under Bomber and absolutley hated him as he was to hard on the young 1s which prob explains why the player i'm referring to never made it. i'm sure you could guess who i'm talking about

07 Apr 2017 22:55:59
Thanks for bailing me out Kyle. That's exactly what I've heard as well

I would say it's abit late In the season too have players training everyday but it's obviously how they do it on the continent need too give the guy a chance too get his idea and methods in place.

But it's also starting too get a little too much like the le guen carry on I still too this day believe he was shunned too soon so I hope the same doesn't happen too Pedro let him fail on his own not because some two. It half wit footballers don't like working hard for there thousands of pounds a week.

Bunch of ladyboys should try and get a normal job for rubbish money then they will man up and take it on there spoilt chins.

Obviously I don't know if it's true about players struggling with Caixinha's methods or not but in the last 2 games our relatively poor performances have not been down to poor tactics but the same inconsistent players and the same in abilities to defend cross balls properly, the same lack of strength and creativity in midfield and the same chronic inability to finish off the chances we do create that we've shown all season. Unfortunately although Pedro talks well he can't work miracles, as the saying goes" you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" and I think we will see much of the same till the end of the season. Let's hope he can get rid of some of the chronic underperformers (Kiernan, Senderos, Halliday etc. ), get Rossi ter and Kranjcar fully fit, give some of the youngsters a real chance and bring in several of his own choices (at least 4 or5) then we' ll see whether Pedro has what it takes or not.

08 Apr 2017 13:59:32
Every single player is playing for their rangers future, I doubt very many of them will ever get as big a move as our club so they are under pressure and maybe they just don't have the balls for it.

Although I've heard some of the players are loving it. Senderos stays behind after every session with some of the younger boys and does training exercises with them.

What does the stadium groundsman know what happens at training? lol
