So glad that I was one of the few slways on defending big borna right from the very start, was fed up saying he needed a consistent run of games to find his form. Absolute rolls Royce of a full back and glad he's shutting up the doubters that said halliday was our best left back and wanted the guy sold.

Barasic has really improved. I was one of the ones who'd have happily seen him sold, but he's beginning to show he really has quality. I also rated Halliday over him, but stand by my opinion of him. He gets unfairly criticised, and if he'd put in as many half hearted performances as Barasic has to date, he's have been utterly slaughtered on here.
What I will say however is that we are a quarter into the season, and Barasic will only win me over when he becomes dependable, as opposed to guys on here drooling over him every time he does OK. When he wins 50/ 50's in old firm games and gives us 8/ 10's every week then he'll be worth the praise.
Word on Edmunson also. He has looked class whenever he's played. Great to have 4 good options at the back.

Jermain Defoe, class on the park and absolute class off the park. The work this gentleman does for charities, especially for kids is exemplary. Tha wee girl who he gave his top and hat-trick ball to after the hamilton game today was a terrific gesture by an absolute thoroughbred of a guy.

Totally agree SGL! He’s a pro through and through and you can tell he looks after himself and in all honesty I think we could get another two years out of him! I’m also in the thinking that both him and Alfie could hit 30 goals apiece this season.

I agree blackwoodbear. Football critics always used to say that if your 2 strikers scored 50 goals between them in a season, that would more than likely win their team the league. Already morelos and defoe have 26 goals between them, with only a quarter of the season gone.
Incredible performance by our 2 class striker's, so far! Defoe is without a doubt the most natural instinctive finisher in scottish football and morelos is learning all his good habits from him. Morelos has improved his temperament and his 1 on 1 finishes, which is most definitely working beside and learning from jermain defoe.

I thought Polster never put a foot wrong,
Barisic was quality, Ojo Played well, Defoe man of match but Kamara couldn't have been far behind, he was magic. Edmunston strong and composed, not to mention Stewart and Arfield, Golson for his goal, Tav for his crosses.
Coldo that Stevie Gerrard seems to know what he is doing don't you think😉😀
Personally I couldn't find much to criticise only positives,
Top of League, top goalscorers, have we lost the least goals?
No Kent, Jack, Jones, Katic, Helander, Barker, Aribo, Flanagan, Haliday, King etc.
Talk about strength in depth.

Polster isn't what we need going forward, same with docherty murphy. They don't bring anything to the team, they are average squad players and will get the odd 10min cameo here and there. ojo was poor again yesterday. 👍.

Murphy brought plenty to the team before he got injured. IF he can get back to the form/ fitness he showed before the injury he could play an important part in the first team squad.

It’s hard to judge Murphy, he was part of our team that was terrible under former management and never had a shout due to injury with Stevie yet. Deserves a shot at least to get back in.
I always rated him, I rate pre injury Murphy higher than Ojo but our squad has moved on in quality massively and when all fit I would go Kent Morelos Jones against most Scottish teams and potentially Europe as well, Stewart has played himself into contention as well, going to be very difficult for Murphy but he deserves an opportunity to get back in and not just punted on for now.

Excellent today, from the team, I thought big Edmunson looked great (obviously wasn't up against much) and I was very impressed with Polster when he came on. Nothing was won today so I won't get over excited but as I said before let's back the team through the bad times and the good times. x super score board should be a laugh tmrw😃😃.

Hamilton not up to much, but honestly night and day from last year. Defoe coming in and bagging a hat trick, Kamara looking sharp again, Edmundson will Be some player once settled. Him and Katic would be great together but understand that SG is trying to get both of them to learn along side a guy that has played PL. this year is the chance to win some silverware no doubt about it.

Great movement today, we looked dangerous every time we moved forward. Defoe's turn for his 2nd goal was brilliant, and, Graham Stewart was solid again, as was Edmundson beside Goldson, and, I criticised him after Thursday but Tavernier was effective today.

I always believe a player also needs to get a full pre season under his belt.
Same when u sign a player in January more often than not they r playing catch up. Ie Defoe and Davis.

Great all-round performance yesterday, although Hamilton didn't offer much. Barisic has a magic wand of a left foot, and seems to be improving with every game. Defoe is a class act, nice to have two strikers on form. Nice position to be in at the international break, hope we come back firing on all cylinders!

Greg Stewart can pass! Arfield is crafty and physical. Davis pulling the strings. Kamara is good cover for Jack. The back line was solid. Ojo is okay and not terrible on the field but his play is not strong enough to be the starter EVERY game. Murphy looked good. and Jones should be coming back soon. Ojo should be in a rotation with those Murphy and Jones.
Good game regardless. and we're at the top where we belong.

I think we need to get off of ojo case. He is a young winger that will have dips in his form. If he was the finished article, he wouldn't be near our team. Think he was involved in our first 3 goals today. We have Kent, Jones, Barker out injured and murph not at a 100%. So ojo is our only wing option. So let's get behind the boy. Give him some confidence instead of slating the boy.
Great win today another clean sheet 10 goals in 2 games. Top of league. Let's keep it going.
Think the likes of Edmundson, Stewart Polster all looked hungry and eager to push for a regular first team place. Great to see the desire.
Bb looks a different player, Kamara slowing getting his form back.
Davis and Defoe well what can you say.
And lastly well done to Tav for bouncing back.

Edmondson is a cracking player who can pin point a long pass, the boy hasn't put a foot wrong every time he's pulled on the Rangers jersey. Katic also has been excellent. Our squad is strong and it's this that will win us the league.

I'll put my hand up and say that I cringed and moaned when Rangers picked up Defoe. Too old, bad attitude a Toronto FC (although looking back now, he was expected to carry the team and maybe didn't settle well in Canada) You can tell he loves the game, he's always looking for every opportunity to score. His attitude now is infectious, he definitely had an influence on Morelos. Its a pickup that was well worth it. I have liked everything he has given Rangers.

I do think the guy has a valid point though and is probably just echoing what some of us feel, which is tav is not captain material, and I get SG sees him every day and is better placed to make that call, but it's wee things like the other night that reinforce (for me anyway) that feeling that he could have and should have said something straight after. Maybe he was told not to, who knows but in that past strong leaders have come out afterwards and held their hands up and offered some kind of explanation.
Anyway just thought it was a decent take on the situation, on to today's game and upwards we go.
