I am isolating at the moment because the wean has symptoms his school has over 100 positive tests since opening.
He got tested today so waiting on results.

I had 3 coupons on last night £15 one and two £5 ones and won £1500+ so am having a no bad day.

07 Nov 2020 02:34:08

07 Nov 2020 09:12:22

Bored already hopefully a good win and big scoreline tomorrow will cheer me up.

07 Nov 2020 12:39:53
All the best everybody. Stay safe, it will be over at some point. Hearing positive news re vaccine. Let's hope and pray we can eradicate this horrible disease very soon 👍.

07 Nov 2020 13:04:55
How did I undermine it Oldco?
The hysterical mob were saying the actions of Jones and Edmundson were going to endanger life!
I merely pointed out facts that 67% of the deaths have been over 80 years old.
50% if deaths above been in care homes.
Only 1 person in Scotland under 25 has died - and they had underlying health conditions.
But the Hysterical Hypocrisy Brigade that you are chairman of are blaming the 2 Rangers players spreading the virus further.
They aren't even positive.
I deal in facts not what if's!
And you weren't even bothered about health - you were only worried that it derail Rangers season. 👀👍😳.

07 Nov 2020 15:20:59
Stealing mally's oldco patter. I was going to say you're better than that, but you're not🤭👍.

08 Nov 2020 01:02:10
Stay safe KJ. Hope boy does ok.

06 Nov 2020 21:51:54
Kj, 2 days ago " I think you have a problem with me as you always seem to try and call me out "

Coldos every post since and before has been attacked by you, and the unmentionable one,

I replied to you by saying pot, kettle, and black,

How can I possibly have a problem with a guy I've never met before? . Do you mean I don't always agree with you? If so that's what football following is all about or we wouldn't be on here as we would all be bored to tears, but, attacking everything coldo says, then greetin that someone else " has a problem with me " is childish,

06 Nov 2020 22:50:38
I haven’t called coldo out in every post.
Most of the stuff he has said recently I have agreed with not all but most.

Every post I am on you call me out recently that’s all I said and I stand by that because it’s true but that’s life.

07 Nov 2020 08:36:50
Call me out🤣🤣🤭👍.

07 Nov 2020 09:13:05
Coldo I am getting worried as I have agreed with most of what you have said recently most not all 😂.

07 Nov 2020 10:12:53
You'll get the hang of it KJA9😁🤣🤣👍.

06 Nov 2020 21:35:31
I went too the fancy dress shop too pick up my Dracula outfit for Halloween they gave me a Celtic top I said you stupit idiots I wanted too look like a count.

06 Nov 2020 22:11:19
🤣🤣🤣👌.

06 Nov 2020 22:14:15
Vg laudrup like yer style.

06 Nov 2020 22:52:13
Youd look like a total count with that on.

07 Nov 2020 08:34:52
Spilt my coffee😬.

New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Europa league prize money

06 Nov 2020 20:52:03
We've all got and are entitled to our opinions on who is our best all round striker at rangers. We witnessed against benfica last night, alfredo morelos having a cracking game and getting back close to his best.

I know a few on here wanted morelos sold and didn't think he was worth what we were looking for in a transfer fee, if we did sell him in the last transfer window past. I personally have no doubt alfie for me is still the best all round striker at rangers and playing to his best is our starting striker everytime!

So ED,
could you please do a poll amongst our supporters on here as to which striker they rate the best all round striker at ibrox.
The poll being who's the best rangers all round striker, ie. alfredo morelos, kemar roofe,
cedric itten, jermain defoe.

{Ed033's Note -

Rangers Best Striker Poll

06 Nov 2020 21:03:09
Easily Morelos.
Defoe if he was a few years younger. 👍.

06 Nov 2020 21:12:34
I won’t even bother going there as it’s rather obvious nobody could vote for someone else, one striker is about 50, and the rest have hardly played.

06 Nov 2020 22:51:51
BB if Defoe was younger he wouldn’t be here tho.

06 Nov 2020 19:49:53
Notice bluewoulddo is very quiet after morelos performance last night. U know the wee fat guy who can't run and has no technique.

06 Nov 2020 20:54:48
I will put my hands up and say I thought he had completely chucked it, , something has obviously changed his mind and he was fantastic last night,

06 Nov 2020 21:07:23
Morelos was my man of the match. All round play was superb.

06 Nov 2020 22:21:25
Alfie was great but Kamara was my MOTM. The guy is a class act and would never be out of my team.

06 Nov 2020 22:28:49
Morelos was immense last night and proved he's a good all round footballer, as well as being a terrific goalscorer! When he's on his game alfie quite simply is unplayable!

06 Nov 2020 22:53:01
And 6 counties don’t forget him either 55

It’s amazing how quiet they go and the next bad game they will be out in force again.
The problem with BWD I honestly don’t think he is a rangers fan.

06 Nov 2020 19:47:37
Here's the thing we sell Jones in January do we sell Edmondson too as he was as culpbil as Jones all the focus has been on Jones unless of course we were always going to sell Jones in January. They both broke the rules they both need to be punished firstly I think a period training with under 21 and a period of reflection on what it's to a professional footballer in these difficult times by giving talks to local boys clubs on the above issue.

06 Nov 2020 20:55:54
Why? Did they do something wrong?

Musta missed it.

06 Nov 2020 21:27:01
AGW. The difference in the two players cases is this.
Jones has broken rules and his attitude stinks ( i for one was glad. to see him work bk in to the plans) he was. given a second chance by Gerrard. He then does this and confirms his attitude is billy big bollocks, so yes he should be shipped out.
Edmunsom, from what I know, has been a professional and applied himself and his attitude has been fine, so this is him onto his last chance. That's my take on it.

06 Nov 2020 22:21:39
None of us know what the investigation will uncover, if anything, I’m not going to get into it again as a couple of guys got upset that I wanted them gone if they have done what is said, going to a party is way way beyond ok for me.

06 Nov 2020 23:02:10
Kri55, I said in another post sack them both, but on consideration, I would agree to give Edmundson another chance, Jones, NO get him out.

07 Nov 2020 09:43:48
Tom, no one got upset with you but a few had a different opinion - that’s life.

What would have happened if more of our team had gone to the party, McGregor, Kent, Goldson, Morelos, Davis, would you be calling to them all to go and give the league to Celtic?

You set a precedent and deal with the consequences.

07 Nov 2020 16:37:58
I certainly fidnt get upset u wanted them hone. I ssid all along they should be done.

06 Nov 2020 18:38:35
Just watched Kamara's goal again.
What a team goal!
All the way from our own byeline and the football up to Morelos who then played a brilliant ball across to Kamara ( you forget how good the Morelos pass was ) and the strike into the corner from Kamara was excellent. 👍👏👏👏.

06 Nov 2020 21:02:04
We are a great football team now. Every one of our players look comfortable with the ball in possession. They all know there job. Well done SG and back room team.

06 Nov 2020 21:32:19
Keeping them totally focused is everything now mate, Lennon will manage to get them out of Europe twice so Rangers will probably have more games ahead, focus on winning one game at a time.

06 Nov 2020 21:44:17
Great goal from start to finish.

06 Nov 2020 18:26:09
Joe Aribo needs to step up and improve his level of finishing. Missing target from 6 yards when unchallenged with header was extremely poor.

06 Nov 2020 18:33:29
Can you please name a few of these players that scores 100% of chances they get. Just interested like so I can look them up 👍.

06 Nov 2020 19:17:22
Think i saw Kamara hit a pass two yards over in one of the games earlier this season. Double sessions in training for him.

06 Nov 2020 19:20:15
Yeah bankie it’s aw aribos fault kent missed an easier chance but he gets off scot-free.

06 Nov 2020 22:09:30
KJA9, Aribo and Kent both missed glorious chances that should have been converted.

06 Nov 2020 18:07:04
Don't think the 7 million thing is really relevant. We paid it (don't know exactly how) so that's it. But I know for me whenever teams announced I hope he's in. So much pace and skill and I think he will be crucial this season if we are to hopefully end the pain we've all felt over recent years. When I compare Kent to Hagi, i do appreciate Hagi's talent, but at this moment in time I'm not that fussed whether he starts or not.

06 Nov 2020 19:35:29
Even when Kent's not firing, watch defenders get dragged to him as there terrified of leaving him 1 v 1 with anybody. He creates spaces for others, and even when not on it he works his socks off.

06 Nov 2020 20:59:32
Colin, just out of interest, why do you question how Rangers signed a player at £7m, if that’s the price paid, it’s a massive club with millionaires at the healm , I don’t know why anyone question that.

07 Nov 2020 15:58:33
TT12,am more surprised but maybe just me being wary. I can't claim to know what the actual state of our finances are, but recent accounts show we are not in a great place and the current situation will only make it worse. The guys involved I assume know what they are doing and won't be putting us at risk. These guys seem to have the club at heart unlike the shameful gits who stripped us previously. I am delighted with the squad we have assembled and they way we are playing. Wasn't that long ago we were all watching old firm games from behind the couch. Having supported the club for over 50 years I'm not sure I could handle it if we got into financial difficulties again. Anyway, let's go and win the league.

06 Nov 2020 15:51:39
Unbelievable some havin a go at or questioning Kent. One of our best players all season, always looks a threat, even if sometimes if it's not going his way he works his socks off. Yes could do with a few goals but giv the guy a break. Should be one of the first on teamsheet every week, IMHO.

06 Nov 2020 16:45:42
Everyone is entitled to an opinion but agreed, I thought he's been playing well thus far, and last night he had a cracker. On a bad day any player can be the weakest link guys.

I suppose the heartening thing is, we're moaning about small details with no major surgery required. Just think of where we were this time last year and the year before that etc.

WE are now the dominant team and have nothing to fear from OUR noisy neighbours.

06 Nov 2020 16:45:57
He hasn’t been a threat the last month at least looks like he needs a rest but he hasn’t performed recently maybe we expect to much because of his great start I don’t know.

06 Nov 2020 17:07:40
Kent has been great. So has Kamara, top players for us. 👍.

06 Nov 2020 17:18:28
No one is saying he doesn't work his ass off and yes he links well with the rest of the team.
But I've yet to see him actually go past a full back or beat any defender for that matter, so for me I can't see a 7mill player, just my opinion.

06 Nov 2020 17:33:30
I blame Gary McC that nonsense talk about him being good enough for England has led to a form dip.

06 Nov 2020 18:22:51
For goodness sake guys, Kent thru on goal and his pace and ability gets Benfica defender sent off and later hits the post with a great rubbish on goal. Give the boy a break, he is consistently our best offensive player and ran himself into the ground last night.

06 Nov 2020 18:28:13
Bar72.if you watch properly you'll see Kent's trick is running at the FB and chopping bk. 9/ 10 it works. He has no need to get to the byline, we have barasic for that job. Some folk can't see what's in front of them.

06 Nov 2020 19:21:32
Coldo he has been great for at least a month and shows you up and you just keep defending players that you like even if they are of form.

06 Nov 2020 19:59:28
Kri55, I can see plenty, and running AT, not PAST defenders, then chopping back just slows up the attack, allows defenders to get goalside again. I think the guy is an asset but NOT the bloody Messiah, some seem to think.

06 Nov 2020 21:09:38
Mmm, I mind being accused the other day of “ picking my posts out “

Coldo I see you are stil being victimised, , just like trump,

06 Nov 2020 21:42:38
Bar72.at the pace he drags defenders and chops back allows space for our players a the edge of the box, coming onto the ball, jack goal V the Tims for one example. His form has dipped slightly but for folk to question his talent and ability is an absolute joke.

See You Next Thursday 20 - Ole, Ole, Ole

06 Nov 2020 15:57:37
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new podcast entitled, See You Next Thursday 20 - Ole, Ole, Ole

06 Nov 2020 15:46:55
Not being able to see out victory against 10 man Benfica shows how difficult will be against them at Ibrox later in month. We've poked them in the eye and they will be prepared. Let's embrace the challenge we have nothing to fear. Need victories against Hamilton and the sheep ahead of rematch against Benfica.

06 Nov 2020 16:03:14
You're comparing Benfica away to them at home? We never poked them in the eye we gave them a right keeker so I for one am looking forward to our next three league games and hopefully it ends with us taking full points.

06 Nov 2020 16:03:43
You are underselling our team.

We got a bit careless with their goals - keep our usual discipline and we'll be tough to beat but their defence was nothing special.

06 Nov 2020 16:18:30
At Ibrox expect Benfica to field 11 men for 90 minutes.

06 Nov 2020 16:47:19
Jyf only because they went down to 10 how can anyone not say that would have been a different game altogether 11 v 11 and I am worried about the return game.

06 Nov 2020 17:04:36
Big apology, I took them to mean ce*%ic my mistake.

06 Nov 2020 17:08:50
11 v 11 we would have probably lost the game. 👍.

06 Nov 2020 17:09:48
Yip kja9 if we can’t do the job against 10 men for 70 mins what’s the chance against 11.

06 Nov 2020 18:00:41
How do we know we wouldn't have got a result against 11 men? The 3 goals we lost were through our own stupid mistakes, and it wasn't silky, sublime football that outdone us!

06 Nov 2020 21:39:50
Every chance Gerr, it’s hardly like it’s never happened before is it.

06 Nov 2020 14:31:55
Some folk need to remember where we were 3 year ago. Last night aye we should of seen game out got 3 points but in Europe there's been more experienced teams than us came a cropper it's a harsh environment one slip up you get punished. We keep growing as a team getting better and learning a see a really bright future, think we have still to peak that may come next year. As long as we get the league this year am happy. Treble be even sweeter.

06 Nov 2020 15:38:28
Last night was a great result. Where we were is no longer relevant and is not an excuse for poor performances in the future. The performance last night was great. 👍.

06 Nov 2020 16:06:56
Coldo. You keep on bringing up our collapse after Dubai - but someone else brings up the past and it's no longer relevant?
And you repeatedly slated Tav on past performances even when he started the season on fire.

06 Nov 2020 16:26:01
No I don't. Another belter from the irrelevant👍.

06 Nov 2020 16:48:13
Selective memory again?

06 Nov 2020 17:08:08
Am sorry coldo but where we were will always be relevant, it's should be the fuel to our fire never forget where they put us that's what should make us aim to be better than the rest. Am proud how as a club we came bouncing back way we have no many teams would of done that. So yes it's all about the future but never forget the past.

06 Nov 2020 17:11:05
No KJA9👍.

06 Nov 2020 17:25:42
I agree we should never forget the past. But we can't use it as excuse when we lose or are poor, its no longer relevant in terms of how we base results or performances. You are right, most clubs would never have bounced back👍.

06 Nov 2020 17:50:51
Coldo 15:38 - the past is no longer relevant👀
Coldo 17:25 - we should never forget the past! 👀
1 hour 47 minutes later for the selective memory kicks in. In the same thread as well😂😂.

06 Nov 2020 18:16:37
Its no longer relevant for excusing poor performances or poor results but we should always remember our past, our history. Two very different statements. Selective reading from the irrelevant, another belter. Your obsession belongs on another site🤭👍.

06 Nov 2020 18:45:04
Says the man who continually posts on Tainted Town!
And who acts like a Tim Apologist by calling Gerrard a clown, Aribo useless, sell Morelos, no cheer Morelos, no wait sell Morelos! 👍👀😂😘
And I'm that irrelevant you've now replied to me twice. I think I'll go and ask Timalloy for the odds on a hat-trick! 😜.

06 Nov 2020 20:18:40
You two are like old seety wives at the steamie. Geeza a break.

06 Nov 2020 20:53:04
Scroll on past then Efriar👍.

06 Nov 2020 13:45:23
Only one change, I feel was necessary last night at 1-3 for me a forward off and balogun on as an extra defender Arfield was the wrong choice but just another stepping stone to learn from for our boss I feel we lucked out when he was hired changed our complete playing structure much like Souness back in the day Congrats to SG and CG for their awards today Looking forward to the return game next week As long as we don't lose we will be fine.

06 Nov 2020 15:23:19
Correct Deecee, 100% agree.
We brought Balogun on at Killie to steady the ship and he would have been ideal last night as Helander was exposed for pace.
But we learn and move on to Sunday to another must win game.

06 Nov 2020 17:50:01
Played as a CH for myw hole career ans wouldn't have brought balogun off. Bringing a 3rd CH jn amd changing shape disruots the team and more often than nit causes issues as people adjust to new roles/ men to mark etc

We shoulda seen out game but mistakes happen. Point away to 1 of the favourites ill take. still undefeated . onwards we march.

06 Nov 2020 13:23:08
I don't think we should be happy, in fact some are almost celebrating, With a point from a game In which we had an extra man for Over 70 mins and at one stage had a 2 goal lead. Think it's a bad result with everything took into account. Anybody happy with that must not fancy us next imo 11 v 11 for 90mins? I didn't see game so can't comment on performance, but looking at how the game went it's a bad result.

06 Nov 2020 13:59:48
I commented last night, up till they lost a player we looked way off the pace. After that though we should have destroyed them with play and chances we had over the next hour.
The last 5 minutes we can let slide for now as we are possibly becoming a bit over critical.

06 Nov 2020 14:01:12
Aye its rubbish we let a 2 goal lead slip from us but before a ball was kicked i would have been delighted to even get a point, its a sore 1 to take its still a positive result.

06 Nov 2020 14:13:23
Gerrard said "we didn't need to be so gung-ho at 3 1 up" I think it's captains job to tell the players to sit tight or Gerrard should be shouting to Tav to sit tight. He should have done what he done on Sunday, bring Balogun on.

06 Nov 2020 14:36:51
Wouldnt say happy with result. However more the case of not getting to caught up about it. Would have taken that result before kick off and 10 mins in i'd have bitten the hand for it.

Dissapointing at times but would rather that kind of slip happens in europe when we are top of the group.

We have went away to one of the faves for the tournement and yet again not lost also.

Ofcourse theirs negatives but if they go out and win at the weekend that will be soon forgotten about.

06 Nov 2020 14:41:14
I fancied a 1-0 win, I’d have took a draw beforehand. But against 10 men for 70 odd mins I’m sorry but we need to win that. We’ve come a long way in a few years I’m in no way getting on at the manager or the players and not making a big drama out of it we got the point and we move on. I just feel it’s 2 points dropped and from a 2 goal lead it’s not really good enough. The team are doing well atm and so we forgive and move on but it shouldn’t have happened.

06 Nov 2020 15:04:58
Ingerrardwetrust, by you’re own admission you didn’t even see the game so you’re basing your whole post purely on stats. Yes not taking the 3 points felt like a kick in the teeth and was very frustrating, but if you’d have watched the game you would of seen that other than the first 10/ 15 mins When we were trying to settle after a horrible start and sloppiness in the last 10 mins we played fantastically well, and for large periods of the game completely out played what is a highly respected, champions league level team full of players worth millions who spent €100million over the summer and are meant to be far superior to us. Yes throwing away that kind of lead is never good at any level, however showing we can certainly more than compete against teams of that standard is certainly a major positive. And more than anything, after 3 games we are in a great position to qualify.

06 Nov 2020 15:25:22
At that level you have to take your chances in front of goal and we passed up a couple of good chances.

06 Nov 2020 15:26:02
I see the doom merchants are out again. Can anything make you happy? Only a few years ago we were playing at Stirling Albion, Peterhead and the like (with all respect to them) . What happened to our glorious club was disgusting and damaging. Now, thanks to the great Dave King we are almost back to where we belong, at the summit of Scottish football. 3-3 away to Benfica is a terrific result so for goodness sake look at the positives in that result. What a great season so far. Maybe mistakes were made tactically last night, but maybe Benfica are a damned good team. I feel #55 is coming and that is what we all want as true Bears but we can maybe have a very good European run too.

06 Nov 2020 16:07:15
Yep Doiger, 3-3 against lowly Benfica, just shocking standards.

Disgusting!

Think big Sam should get a call to sound him out.

06 Nov 2020 16:19:15
10 men or not, they had over 100 Million Euros of talent on that park, and our £50,000 man outshone them. We won't make the same mistakes in a fortnight, we'll play a higher line against them to stop them dictating things, I will never be totally unhappy with a result like last nights, our pedigree went up a few notches last night in my opinion.

06 Nov 2020 16:50:13
Doesn’t matter how much a team spend should still be beating a team with 10 men especially when you are 3-1 up.

Drawing ain’t the end of the world but it’s still 2 points dropped.

06 Nov 2020 17:02:17
ofcourse its disappointing to lose 2 cheap goals, that was the only mistake we made when we should have shut up shop at 3-1 with a defender instead of attacker. Helander didn't have the best game in his life but the way he has been playing i don't think we can be over critical, it happens in football. as i said last night that if someone told me we would get a draw i would have taken it.

06 Nov 2020 17:42:43
I’m definetely not doom and gloom if u read my post and then responding comment you’ll see that. My point is simple against 10 men for 70 mins and with a 2 goal lead u should never throw that away. It’s not good enough. I’m over the moon with the management, the board, the scouting set up, the sponsorship deals, the players especially. The club as a whole is back where it should be and it’s thanks to Steven gerrard (and Dave king, but don’t forget he brought in Pedro and then tried to get mcinnes so not a great record) I thank gerrard for the turnaround at our club. My point is simple not doom and gloom. Shouldn’t be throwing that away in those circumstances that’s all. But still undefeated still top of 2 leagues. Still exceeding expectations so all good.

08 Nov 2020 00:07:31
Good post gers.

06 Nov 2020 13:05:36
I suppose that a sure fire way to figure out things are not quite right with your squad is when your players resort to using their mobile phones while sat on the bench calling up the samaritens. 📞📱📞Hello hello help please📞☎️🙏.

06 Nov 2020 13:52:31
I seen that 3 Cheers, Lennon has list the dressing room. 👍.

06 Nov 2020 13:04:06
Hi

The appointment of Gerrard as manager is the main reason Celtic are now falling apart.

He has built a team capable of not only matching Celtic but knocking them off their perch.

His pulling power is still strong and has a good eye for a player, he is still not the finished article but getting there.

Lennon can't match him in any department and lacks any class, Gerrard is head and shoulders above him.

Celtic know we are too good for them and its only a matter of time before we take complete control.

Celtic need to change a lot of things soon or this will continue for a few years.

Yes we should have won last night but still happy.

Thanks to the Rangers board for taking a chance with Gerrard.

Lennon must stay.

06 Nov 2020 14:16:01
Gerrard is Head and Shoulders
Lennon is TIMotei
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️🇬🇧👍.

06 Nov 2020 16:21:12
Lennon, the Trump of football, it's never his fault.

06 Nov 2020 17:36:04
I get what your saying but if Lennon comes back and wins the league SG will be classed as a massive failure.

06 Nov 2020 12:50:53
We all know alfredo morelos is a terrific goalscorer, but he's now showing he's actually a good footballer as well! Some of alfie's link up play last night against benfica was exceptional 👌His overall awareness and decision making was quite superb.
Playing like that alfredo is easily in this day and age a £20million + striker!

06 Nov 2020 13:53:47
Some of his distribution was first class last night.

06 Nov 2020 14:00:53
His pass to Kamara for the 2nd goal was a peach.

06 Nov 2020 14:07:21
SGL the problem is some people don’t think that about fredo.

Best performance for a long time last night and Is our Numebr 1 striker by a country mile.

06 Nov 2020 14:44:30
I agree KJA9 👍When alfie plays to his true form, he's undoubtedly the best all round striker at rangers 👌
Even our evergreen great striker jermain defoe, says that alfredo has the ability to play for any top club in any of europes top leagues! IMHO morelos has it within him to be a world class striker by the time he hits his peak years.

06 Nov 2020 17:52:31
I think a lot of people are just frustarated with the guy because we know that last night and the euro performances last season are what he is capable of, but he has not done it enough in the last 9/ 10 months. Let’s hope that’s him getting the form back and he takes us to 55 or gets his value back up for January move.

08 Nov 2020 00:05:55
SGL and mr potato head. He’s not allowed out off the box his job is to stay in six yard box. As the experts say it’s not his job to link up play, that pass to kamara was fantastic.
Best display in a year, need many more, that is the standard.

06 Nov 2020 11:58:58
Keep hearing from the other mob, wait till the international break and you's collapse or our run has been easier or we don't have a full team yet. I honestly think they are very worried, I know it's only November but hey are seriously worried about our fitter more settled and better squad. Can't count our chickens but we are in a far better place than previous seasons, just keep going about our business with dignity the Rangers way and let the timplosion begin 🤯😂.

06 Nov 2020 13:54:37
It's all about consistency Marcus.

06 Nov 2020 14:03:02
Totally agree Mr PH, last season we wouldn’t have come away from rugby park with all 3 points.

06 Nov 2020 15:10:20
Marus they say they no gota full team but we've bn depleated fur the past 8 to 9 year they do my box in with the were bn depleated past coupla month well as i say were bn depleated fur years there deluded mate.

06 Nov 2020 11:36:54
Just had a wee look. The benfica squad is valued at over 300 million quid. We're valued at 60. Looking at everything, last night was a decent result. Should have been better, but very passable v a tough champions League team.

08 Nov 2020 00:07:24
Rossco, correct. It shows we r progressing significantly under SG.
Things are happening.

06 Nov 2020
New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, our defending was great, but...

06 Nov 2020 10:36:31
I'm not criticising the team or manager, we should have won that but a points more than I expected last night lol.

One thing that I thought I would have seen was subs, even just to get fresh legs on and run the clock down.

I mean 5 subs and we used one.

Especially after their second goal.

Just a thought.

06 Nov 2020 11:12:04
I agree subs would have helped towards the end as itten and roofe have shown they can hold play up etc but one player made a couple of errors and others missed fairly easy chances, arfield should have kept possession and our full backs should not be bombing forward in last minute but.

it happened and no point beating ourselves up over it, it was definitely a missed opportunity as return game will be hard even at home. 7 out of 9 is a great start but priority has to be Sunday. keep that pressure on them and they’ll hopefully continue to crumble.

06 Nov 2020 11:20:52
Sometimes subs can cause the team to lose shape for a minute or 2 maybe he didn’t want to risk that? I didn’t see the game or the goal so I’m not really qualified to comment but just a thought.

06 Nov 2020 11:25:37
Yup,

100% agree Camoo our defence was abysmal last 15 mins however most of us were hoping to get and accept a draw.

We got the draw but hindsight is a great thing (if only this only that) we would have won mate.

06 Nov 2020 13:07:39
I thought we lost our shape with Arfield coming on, he played mostly at CF instead of in the engine room breaking up attacks. We shoulda played for time, taking ball to corners, but instead we kept attackin g and got sucker punched.

06 Nov 2020 13:16:34
IGWT you are right that CAN happen but doesn’t always happen either.
We should have closed up shop like he done on Sunday to get the win instead of trying for a 4th.

06 Nov 2020 13:17:02
Stevie will learn from that performance, - great result against a very strong European team who offensively were as good as I've seen.

06 Nov 2020 13:17:52
It's difficult as were playing so well. Does he risk disrupting the flow with too many changes? Personally I think we missed a trick and should have won comfortably. Some of our possession football was superb with the midfielders playing as well as I"ve seen them. Unfortunately we shipped 2 points due to Helander's errors and Arfield's lack of game management. Don't get me wrong, I think both have been sensational for us in general this season and players are human, and will make mistakes from time to time. We move on to Hamilton and another 3 points and keep the pressure on that mob who look as though they are likely to fold like a cheap deckchair at any minute. We need to keep grinding out the results, putting as much daylight between us as we can.

06 Nov 2020 13:59:43
100% correct Seeker. 👏.

06 Nov 2020 14:11:49
It was 3 stupid mistakes Seeker that cost us mate. As you said, I don't think I've seen our midfield play better than what they did last night, and there were times during the game that we looked like we could score at anytime - some of the play through our midfield and wing backs was scintillating at times.
Do you know, I'm a very happy man that we are back in a position where we feel a draw against a European heavyweight is a poor result.

08 Nov 2020 00:03:48
benfica changed the way they attacked and arfield made two mistakes. only quality can behave like that. rangers will learn from that.

06 Nov 2020
New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Worst performance

06 Nov 2020 10:19:33
Gents I got a picture sent to me from twitter, I don't have twitter so some of you's have probably already seen it. I posted it on the sightings page so it should be up shortly. I thought it was hilarious.

It was a question with a vote.

Question: Worst performance by a Catholic on 5th November.

A. The Derry Donkey
B. Guy Fawkes

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍.

06 Nov 2020 10:42:44
The "Derry" donkey better watch or he'll be off to the glue factory.

06 Nov 2020 12:16:42
Who's the funniest?
The Derry donkey
The Derry girls

I personally get a good laugh at both of them.

06 Nov 2020 13:18:32
Aye very good boys 😂👍🇬🇧.

06 Nov 2020 16:18:44
The Bridgeton Derry.

06 Nov 2020 09:57:08
It goes to show how good our form has been this season that my thinking after that game regards some of the players hasn't overly changed.

Helanders had an absolute nuke however he's been different class this season and i think we all know that would have hurt him last night. Hope we can stay behind him and he can get back to his level of performance again.

Ultimately we should have killed that game off at 3-1 with some criminal chances, in particular Kent and aribo.

On a positive note, That's still a very stong result for us and puts us in driving seat to qualify with 2 home games to play.
Morelos was back to his old self, and for me was the best player on the park last night.
Running out of superlatives for captain tav at the minute also, Night and day for the player who looked to hide in his shadow at times last season.

back to 3 Points on sunday and hope they drop more points. Motherwell away for them, far from the easiest fixture when things aren't going their way.

On a positive note.

06 Nov 2020 10:23:07
Correct DL.
For a captain that's not supposed to be vocal, did you see him going off at half time talking to Helander and Goldson, giving them encouragement?
Different class at the minute. 👍.

06 Nov 2020 13:19:43
Hard to argue. Thought The Buff was superb last night.

06 Nov 2020 09:38:05
Just reading an article there at the end of it

Not a team in Europe will relish facing Rangers
Wow that really shows how far we have came and to have this sort of press regarding Europe when was the last time we had this sort of press
NO TEAM IN EUROPE will relish facing Rangers
That has made my day and hopefully makes everyone else's we have been a right force to be recogned with in Europe long may it continue 😊.

06 Nov 2020 10:10:03
We need to cut out the complacency mate. I read big Connor's interview this morning and he admitted that's what cost us.
When you see Arfield trying to pull off a killer pass with less than 2 minutes to play to try and get a fourth goal you know they've let the occasion get to them and his complacency in thinking the game was won has caused us. When we cut this crap out we can get to that next level!
Anyway, still a fantastic result and a happy night all round.

06 Nov 2020 10:11:37
No team in the europa league that should say, I doubt very much a high level CL side would worry to much about Rangers.

06 Nov 2020 10:24:01
That's my only issue with Arfield - his passing is horrendous at times.

06 Nov 2020 10:35:03
100% MPH! Let's be honest though, even If his passing was better, he should never be trying passes like that with time running out! If he had kept possession, or passed to someone who would have, we win the game.

Look, I'm sure he knows this, and from what Gerrard says, I'm sure he had the manager in his ear, so he will be feeling bad about this.

06 Nov 2020 10:38:18
Its game management that cost us the win last night.

06 Nov 2020 10:43:52
BMGH was my point as well. 5 minutes to go, I was watching the most boring keep ball football and LOVING it. There was never any need to go there, game was won Benfica were not even chasing down our possession. Never mind we would have taken that b4 the game. Still felt like a loss though. How times change eh?

06 Nov 2020 11:34:18
I know BAR72 they had basically accepted defeat, but our naivety let them back in.
Look, we're still unbeaten, top of the league, and not Celtic - happy days!

06 Nov 2020 11:39:02
BAR72 - That was their tactic. Let us play our from the back and leave space in behind for their striker to sprint through. We fell for it. You seen the striker going mad at one of their players for playing a pass into space down the line, he points to where he wants the pass ie through the middle as we were too high up and no real pace to catch him. Shame as 3 points would have been magnificent but I would have taken the point at the start.
Better game management as someone said would have seen us get the win.

06 Nov 2020 13:21:48
Benfica, Porto and Galatasaray are CL teams sweep1. Have a word with ypurself.

06 Nov 2020 13:46:52
Ano it was a draw but it felt like a defeat after been 3/ 1 up and them down 2 ten men.

06 Nov 2020 16:23:25
10 men try harder not a massive advantage having 1 more player, the history books will say 3-3.

06 Nov 2020 17:40:29
Seeker all them sides you have mentioned ain't top tier CL teams, to suggest Liverpool or bayern Munich would fear rangers is absolutely ridiculous. You have a word with yourself seeker, stay of the glue infact.

06 Nov 2020 09:26:55
Morning guys

Just a quick question I never noticed Zungu on the bench last night? He was on it last week

Wondering when we will get to see him?

06 Nov 2020 13:22:28
Maybe at the weekend if we can kill the game early, stig.

06 Nov 2020 08:36:17
Alfredo Morelos has always proved for us on the big european stage, how good a striker he is! He's been immense for us against much higher class opposition, in the europa league 👌If alfie can eradicate the petulant side to his game, i've got no doubt whatsoever he can go on to become a world class striker, who has the ability to play for a top club, in one of the best leagues in europe 👌 When he's on it, alfredo is unplayable!

06 Nov 2020 10:24:48
And to think many on here wanted to chase the best striker at the club away!

06 Nov 2020 10:28:53
He certainly seems to be getting better with his temperament. It's been a wee while now since he's been sent off and not picking up too many bookings either. Fingers crossed that's him found a bit of confidence and back scoring again. If he can keep his cool and produce what we all know he is capable of then the other strikers won't be getting many starts in games.

06 Nov 2020 10:38:18
That's just it coop, can he eradicate that. His ability has never been in question. Ross wilson said in an interview the other day that fredo was promised a move if a suitable bid came in. A bid was rejected and fredo spat the dummy. He does look if he's getting back to his best🤞👍.

06 Nov 2020 11:00:47
Bit like luis suarez in his style, not of that quality yet but at this age Suarez was still at Ajax biting people and having big bans. Alfie could yet fulfil his potential.

06 Nov 2020 11:21:40
Who wanted to chase alfredo away Mr. PotatoHead? 🤔

06 Nov 2020 11:47:33
Steven Gerrard loyal ermm BluewouldDo springs to mind!

06 Nov 2020 13:07:44
Too many to mention SGL.
And I don't have the time or inclination to go over old ground.
Just type in Morelos in the search bar and you'll be able to find them yourself👍.

06 Nov 2020 08:05:48
Can anyone tell me why oh why did duffman not get a start in EPL games?

06 Nov 2020 07:57:43
This season just keeps getting better. I would have taken a draw away to Benfica before last night and it is a mark of the team's progress that there is disappointment at not winning the game. On this sort of form we need fear no team. Icing on the cake to see the unwashed humped 4-1. A big win on Sunday and who knows, we could be 12 points clear at the top. Well done Gerrard for getting such a strong squad together and glad that El Buffalo is more like his old self. Onwards and upwards the Famous!

06 Nov 2020 10:14:42
Honestly 100% the state they are in and pressure they are under Motherwell could could take all 3 points, that to me wouldn't be a shock. And if they did i think Lennon would have to pack his 🛍 bags, surely they couldn't keep him. As much as I can't stand the sight of the wee gremlin I wouldn't want to see him lose his job. He deserves to see us up close (2 meteres) celebrating our 55th.

06 Nov 2020 10:40:31
Brexit, apparently Eddie Howe is favourite for Celtic job should it become available.

06 Nov 2020 10:46:28
You never know Brexit. Maybe liewell knows something we don't and league will be pulled with no winner, so they are mot really giving a toss whether lemon goes or not.

06 Nov 2020 16:47:30
Eddie Who, don't matter who they get we are settled playing well full of confidence and a classy manager, nothings going to stop the 55 but you have a point BAR72 the only thing that can stop us is C.V., it certainly won't be the mhanks.
But everything crossed we get the season finished and celebrate a well deserved treble.

06 Nov 2020 07:56:59
Always disappointed after dropping 2 points from leading 3 - 1.
But Benfica were very good footballing wise even with the 10 men.
Would have liked Balogan to have came on with his pace as Helander struggled all night.

Our midfield 3 were excellent.
And what a performance from Morelos. Some if his link up play and passing was tremendous at times.
And we are still undefeated!
Onwards to the weekend 🔴⚪🔵.

06 Nov 2020 11:07:20
I prefer Balogun as Goldsons partner from what I’ve seen. And I didn’t see game last night, went to a friends to watch it to get told they don’t have it lol so I’m not basing it on his supposed bad performance last night. Should’ve stayed in my own house and watched it. anyway He was unlucky in that Helander came back in and he and the team were performing well, very well infact. Perhaps Balogun will be given the next few games to prove himself again.

06 Nov 2020 13:09:45
Helander is a brilliant tackler and his positioning is second to none.
Unfortunately he got done for pace on more than one occasion last night.

Review Of The Day 5th November 2020

06 Nov 2020 07:39:04
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 5th November 2020

06 Nov 2020 07:11:49
Ed poll please.

Who will crack first and walk?

1. Buzz the Bham
2. Neil Lennon
3. Mrs T
4. Mally the Moonhowler
5. The Derry Donkey

😁👍.

{Ed033's Note -

crack and walk poll

06 Nov 2020 07:52:30
Got to be Mrs T - she'll be down a fortune with all them imaginary Timalloy losing bets!

06 Nov 2020 08:19:33
What about philtim88, coldo? He's still trying to brazen it out using our draw to justify his bravado.
I see a poster has rinsed buzz bham on his pointless stats, and it's not went down well with the bham.

06 Nov 2020 08:44:37
should have an option for all the above coldo! lol.

06 Nov 2020 08:51:51
Thinki. If Celtic don’t take 3 points at weekend Lenny could have that option took away from him what do we think.

06 Nov 2020 10:03:36
If Celtic don't get three points v Motherwell, they sure as hell will struggle v Hibs, then Sparta again, then AC Milan. I think Lenny's on borrowed time now. If they don't win these next games, I think it'd be Celtics worst run ever. On an even happier note, we're doing fantastically now. I think the lack of fan pressure has improved Tav and goldsons performances. Hopefully we do well on Sunday then continue with our good performances. 55 is there, just waiting for us.

06 Nov 2020 10:40:02
Tav and big Connor are colossuses for us right now. Confidence is a game changer, and right now, these 2 have it in abundance!

06 Nov 2020 10:58:51
My money is on Mrs T. She's took a right shine to Gazza. 🤣🤣👍.

06 Nov 2020 11:11:48
Seen an article there quoting Trevor Sinclair on talksport saying Eddie Howe would be the ideal replacement for Lennon. Hopes a good young manager, but I don’t see him turning it around. They prob need an older more experienced guy to change things around. However once u start hearing the names being linked it’s just a matter of when not if.

05 Nov 2020 23:56:41
I'd like us to get 4 or 5 goals on Sunday. Celtic have scored 28 in 11 games whereas we've scored 29 in 13 games. So great chance to boost our goal difference.

06 Nov 2020 08:52:38
Think Defoe will come in and start again so maybe a few from him stuck.

06 Nov 2020 09:58:58
Id be surprised to not see itten and roofe in the side.
