Has anyone any real info on Francesco Stella? Does he really exist? {The Ed039's Note - Yeah he exists but hasnt been anywhere near the first team. Havent really been keeping an eye on the reserves. Anybody comment further??)

Believable5 Unbelievable0

"does he really exist" lol that's a cracker might have a point though he does seem to be invisible - would be the first summer signing rangers have ever made that I would walk by in the street and not know who he is

Agree5 Disagree1

He's on the books but a kind of tax write off lol.

Agree8 Disagree0

He offered ally a game of hide and seek ... turned out hes s**t hot at it

Agree11 Disagree0

I saw him down the pub mate I'm sure it was him everyone was shouting for him..... george

Agree7 Disagree2

@4 that joke was cracked about 3 months ago on here and it wasn't that fun back then either.

Agree3 Disagree3

He heard Ally after a match saying he was going to murder a few stellas tonight and has taken his family into hiding

Agree2 Disagree1

I'm sorry I realise I am not very funny, I won't do that again, your are correct in your opinion of my pathetic attempt at obvious humour, I'm off down Walkabout for an Awesome Aussi Nite and a Stella..... george

sorry if this is a bit daft, but is there a rangers website where I can buy my shirt from? I cant find it as our old one just redirects you to the rangers homepage. I want to order it through Rangers, so they get the money. Held back ordering from amazon for less, because it wasnt from Rangers.
Thanks!

ED, Will the years accounts be signed
off before the share issue?

Got me thinking, shouldn't that be
mandatory for any clubs new owner before
for a share issue.

Should we win sfl3 (I hope!) we will find
out if its our first league title, or yet
another notch in the belt.

These are the kind of issues that need
sorted before we spend a LOT of money. {The Ed039's Note - I wouldnt think accounts would be signed off on until the end of the financial year at the start of April 2013)

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Green said his share prospectus states its a 140 year old club with long proud history! Surely that's the issue settled? Or criminal wrongful description of the company being floated?

Agree3 Disagree1

Can not do any type of flotation without publishing accounts, they dont have to be end of year audited, but they have to be authorised, approved financials. Most IPO flotations by definition can not supply audited accounts. Start-up companies wanting to raise cash can not supply audited accounts, they wont have any.

Agree6 Disagree0

Think we have to forget this history business when it comes to supporting our clubs. Yep, Celtic fan here, jumped for joy when the Gers went broke. Then, euphoria sinks into reality. We need each other, and have a lot more in common, than perhaps we think. Late 60s, early 70s, two best teams in Europe, aye, it was us.

Agree3 Disagree5

@3

No much reality sunk in if you thought old firm were two best teams in Europe back in the day. FFS, they both won a tourney, one year wonders.

Agree1 Disagree3

No 3 celtic was best team in europe in 67 oldco winning a second rate european tournament is can hardly be described as best team in europe

Agree2 Disagree3

Ed - Rangers financial year end is 30 June 2013, and accounts don't have to be filed at Companies House until 28 February 2014. {The Ed039's Note - Ok, thanks for info)

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic reached 4 semis in their 9 year run. Finalists twice. Champions once. They were seeded second numerous times.

Ed, any.idea what this rangers secret thing is? Flying about something awfa.

C-bear85 {The Ed039's Note - Its a secret)

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I have no idea what your talking about, wink wink ;)

Agree7 Disagree1

It's just another thing to kid themselves on that they have something over Celtic .Henke7

Agree9 Disagree7

Shhhhh dont tell them

Agree2 Disagree1

.......Its the fact that the last person in Scotland to benefit from an EBT was a regular down Kerrydale St........watch this space.......it is EXPLOSIVE!

Agree5 Disagree1

When will it sink in etb's are a tax problem
duel contracts are a football problem...col

Agree4 Disagree0

Is this the pathetic attempt by to wind up The Champions about December 31st? Hail Hail. Childish wind up that means nothing, try again chumps....

What does Durrant bring to the table at Rangers.

Grant R

Believable9 Unbelievable8

Why agree/ disagree. OP asked a question.

Agree0 Disagree6

@1: you can agree or disagree with the sentiment in the question or even the asking of it.

Agree8 Disagree1

06 Nov 2012 21:42:04
OP is it not obvious what wee Durranty brings to the table?
Sally's burgers and bridies lol Timalloy

Agree13 Disagree6

In the good days I think it's admirable to have made up jobs for some key ex players , Rangs problem now is they simple can't afford them anymore - financially or skill set wise. Some and I'm not saying Gordon , are worse than a man short. HH J

Agree3 Disagree1

Nothing. Never looks interested.

well the powers finally made their decision and it could only be our wonderful SFA who could sack someone but continue to pay his wages.

I wonder how many of us got a similar deal when losing our jobs ??

Get these so called experts out of our game and let PROFESSIONAL football people run the game here. If we don't then we ARE heading for the biggest football funeral since the game was invented. The whole structure MUST BE CHANGED IMMEDIATELY
It's already in the throes of dying anyway - supoort has dwindled rapidly and you can see the empty spaces every time a game is shown on TV ( or highlights)

Believable25 Unbelievable10

Start by sacking the conflicted fool Campbell Ogilvie, EBT TAKER and approver for others. No where else is an employee sacked for non performance retained on the same salary. Employment law would back up employer in this instance.

Agree17 Disagree4

OP I take it you're not much of a football fan as sacked managers getting a pay off is very much commonplace.

Or is this just another Ibrox based moan based very little on fact?

Agree14 Disagree7

Mate the problem was giving him a 4 year contract in the first place, what was that all about. And believe it or not, continuing to pay him his wages is the best way to approach it. Otherwise it's a hefty lump sum payout at a time when finances aren't good in the game up here. They put him on gardening leave and if he takes another job it means he has to give up his wages, hence saving Scotland money. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he just waited it out before trying to get back into the game. Bad appointment from the beggining, but if memory serves me right there wasn't anyone good available or interested when we settled for levein. Strachan for the job imo

Agree9 Disagree2

OP quite right.

The SFA have not even got the sense to write into a contract a clause regarding performance and failure to meet agreed targets or the like.
This man now walks with his salary for the remainder of the term of his contract. This money should have been used for the new appointment but no.
It is obvious to everyone Scotland have not improved under Levein.
So what new manager will accept the job without the same conditions if he is sacked?
The SFA should be grilled on this and an enquiry into to their working to see how many Scotland managers got the same deal and why?
Rewarding failure, crazy or just the old pals act?

Agree7 Disagree5

06 Nov 2012 09:49:21
most of us dont have a contractual agreement to be paid £8,000 a week, levein didnt resign, he was dismissed (arguably unfairly) so the SFA could either payout the rest of his contract in one go or pay him weekly, what would you rather, pay somebody a lump sum of £700,000 or £8,000 a week for 2 years? many clubs do it, AVB at chelsea, mowbary at celtic, brown at hull, doesnt mean the SFA are inept, just means thet deal with contracts legally.

G93

Agree9 Disagree2

Every mánager who has ever been sacked has his contract paid up except for any gross misconduct. Le guen got millions. More ignorance.

Agree9 Disagree4

Reagan and his mob are clowns they should resign straight away totally useless

Agree7 Disagree9

Just because it's happened previously, doesn't mean it should continue to happen. Levein's remit was to get us to finals, he hasn't done that and his competitive record is shocking. We have also dropped places. In any employment, if performance isn't good enough, you get sacked. Size of the wage packet shouldn't matter.

Agree2 Disagree5

Le Guen never took a penny

Agree6 Disagree9

@9. Le Guen took £201,250.00 in the form of an EBT facilitated by a side letter or double contract, evidence of which is in the public domain.

Agree10 Disagree5

@10 side letter/double contract where in the public domain can these be found ? Are you only assuming there is said letters as I would like to see one then there would be no more arguments.Await info.

Agree2 Disagree3

06 Nov 2012 17:32:32
@10 show us the information then?
Boy Blue

Agree2 Disagree3

11&12, I certainty haven't seen one at first hand but I beleive a respectable journalist working for the nations broadcaster, the BBC, Mr Mark Daly has seen quite a few, not just for Paul Le Guen but for Kris Boyd, Barry Ferguson, Gavin Rae, Ronald de Boer, Boumsong et al.

Agree10 Disagree7

07 Nov 2012 11:12:53
So its in the public domain but only "this respected journalist" has actually seen in it! Hmmmm ok wow you're right i believe you now well done!

Boy blue

Agree1 Disagree4

@14. When will you twig that none of this is made up ? You do realise rangers went bankrupt and left a scandalous mess behind ? The Murray poodle press have been suppressing it but it will all come out because the non poodle press smell money.
