All the talk of Ally being given another year to prove himself as a decent coach.
Can anyone explain to the fans why then is he back on QOS reviving his tv career?
He is being paid £1m+ bonuses yet is ignoring his coaching duties to build up his own bank balance.
Who is coaching the team while he is in London?

Believable20 Unbelievable11

Wasn't it a one off Show with all ex team captains. Ally McCoist hasn't had a minutes peace since Adminstration he's worked hard to help our club anyway possible, I know a few of the gers fans will slag his managerial skills which is fair enough but I'm nothing short of praise for the man in how' he's handled everything else Christ he's aged about 10years in 2 with what's happened to our club and it will have hurt no one more than it did Ally. So who gives a f@ck if he wants to hon & enjoy himself with his old friends on QOS he's aloud a life outside Rangers he owes us nothing not one thing get off his back!

Agree15 Disagree17

He's gone to Queen of the South?! first division football for Ally next season!

Agree1 Disagree2

Some of the things McCoist said during administration and liquidation were a downright disgrace. Both he and Charles Green were found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute by the SFA and are still on suspended sentences.

Andy Mitchell is the reserve team captain but has not featured in the first team under McCoist.
Surely he should be given a chance as most of the other young players have featured either in the starting eleven or as a sub.
signed a new 12 month deal in July 2012.

Celtic outclassed tonight as they will themselves admit. However, well done for getting to last 16--that has to be recognised. It was a step too far though but at least they were there.

Believable38 Unbelievable15

Thanks OP. Yes, it was a good run and got Scotland onto the big stage again. Yes, out classed by a fantastic team but no shame in loosing to a great team, a team that cost millions. Those big nights are something you don't forget and keeps you going through the harder times. Glad to have the memories and to have been in last 16 with huge clubs.

Agree28 Disagree2

Yes, thanks for recognising it was great to get to last 16, as it was indeed. Went out to a classy team who may even go on and win it. Nothing but pride to be there and keeping Scotland associated with big teams.

Agree19 Disagree3

Disagree, Celtic the only team in CL who play in a one horse race joke league, able to rest players, give players time to rest even with minor injuries.

Agree4 Disagree15

@3 If they play in a 'one horse race joke league', what do you think you play in? How many divisions lower?Get a grip, give credit where credit due, say something sensible----or say nothing at all

Agree15 Disagree7

I think you'll find the epl, la liga and bundesliga are pretty much one horse races as well this season.

Agree11 Disagree2

Yes that is true, but being in a one horse league means they have to adapt to a huge difference in class of opposition which in the case of the Juventus tie was obviously to much.

Agree7 Disagree1

@3 didums, sorry for having an opinion. Rangers are in the 3rd and your point is?. Question : If Rangers were in Pl and celtic had to go hard at it every game, do you think they would have done as well or worse?.

Wondering why Dunfermline don't follow our example?Liquidate, get someone to buy club for pitence, claim same club anyway (call themselves The Dunfermline) ---all sorted. No probs. Follow, follow

Believable34 Unbelievable15

And then offer them a vote to go straight back into the 1st division after all rangers where offered the same chance but didn't want it so they can't grumble if dunfermline except

Agree24 Disagree5

East end post I would think, but did not appreciate they would understand sarcasm.

Straight into 1st div - - but give up titles and tv rights - - big Jim L might not like that ;-))

Agree5 Disagree2

Poster 2. There's no end to the talents in the 'East End' as you call it. Thought you'd know that by now.

Agree16 Disagree3

Cheers poster 4]. Well aware of the talents in the east end, as I was brought up there, but the majority of the talented got the 41 bus to Buchanan Street and then the subway to Copland Road. Thought you would know that.

Agree2 Disagree9

@5 The one I knew were getting on the bus to Uni. ----their talents lay there but they knew what team to support too

Turned on the telly and wasn't paying attention, "the referee cost us the game, we were cheated, ruined the game", for a minute I thought Celtic had been playing early then realised it was the other team that are gracious in defeat.
So there you go Celtic are up there with the moaning Mancs.

Believable25 Unbelievable33

Whereas Rangers are in a class of their own moaning about conspiracies, the world being against them, everyone trying to kill the club etc.?

My dear hector fan, should New Rangers actually ever qualify to play in europe, then you might have a view that is actualy worth any value, but alas, it may be many years if ever, if your cash flow problems are to belived before Rangers will ever be able to purchase a team of players capable of playing in the top comps.

Agree34 Disagree13

What a total n*b you sound complained only about the grappling /ruby tackles dished out last time,
And you wouldn't? NO YOU WOULD HAVE BUT BECAUSE THE MIGHTY CELTIC RAISED CONCERNS ABOUT THE S*te that went on! We must be talking /moaning about Sh*te,
But you could see no wrong that's what makes you a bigot!

Agree30 Disagree8

@op If you had watched Man U game last night and Celtic's first game, you would have seen what the 'moans' were about. No disgrace going out tonight----they were beaten by a far better team (no shame) but the first game didn't reflect the score---say what you will. Celtic didn't deserve to get through---fair enough---but that first game had a shocking ref. ---much like last nights. If it was your team, don't tell me you'd think it was ok for I don't believe you.

Agree26 Disagree11

Wow!. Some touchy sorts on here tonight.

Well done OP hook line and sinker :-)

Agree12 Disagree8

Come on op, they will never realise they are pathetic. Lennon takes on the sfa and the fans call him a hero, kenny shiels takes them on in similiar circumstances and they slaughter him. Why?

ally will be judged on next season as he will have had plenty of time to get the players in he wants time for him to perform and hopefully get the ball on the ground and play it but wanting daly doesn't look likley must be to replace kyle though green is already not impressed with what he is watching so if things don't improve I think mccoist will be sacked he plays to defensive we are better attacking so attack think our club needs overhaul of all the staff including mccoist been standing still while other clubs invest in new coaches and scout so they can find a young player then coach them vastly needed at rangers

Believable8 Unbelievable9

His vital time will be when the leagues won. Let's see if he can shape a team to attack and cause other teams problems instead of banging high balls up top.

Agree15 Disagree2

Ally will be judged next year as he will have plenty of time to get players in. Eh Hello we can't buy anybody till the jan transfer window. only able to get freebies in after 1st sept. if anybody will be left bye then.

Agree6 Disagree4

N2 eh hello ally will only have about 300 freebies to pick from cheers

Mate just emailed me this form the Buisness Insider:
Rangers International Football Club Plc has reported a £7 million operating loss for the seven months to December 31, 2012.

Revenues for the seven-month period were £9.5 million while costs ran to £16.5 million, leaving an operating loss of £7. 04 million.

Comparable operating costs for the oldco Rangers Football Club Plc - now in liquidation - for the same period are put at £22 million.

At current expenditure rates, Rangers - who are currently playing in the IRN-BRU Third Division - are losing roughly £1 million a month based on average running costs of £2. 35 million against average revenues of £1. 35 million a month.

If we currenlty losing £1million (ish) a month is that all coming out of the share issue? and is previous loss also coming out of it? if so by end seaon May 2013 we would be around a £12million or more at a loss?
Where if any will be the future income profits coming from to re build any short falls? If figures above are true then Rangers pre Green and co where running at costs etc of £22mill?
Where as this seaon we are running costs in Third division of around £16. 5 for 7 month period?which comes out, for year around mmmm £27 to "28 million costs for year?
Even my un-maths brain can see that this makes us spending more now than previous regime? by around £5million? how the hell could that be right?
Someone please tell me this isn't right? for god sake.

Agree8 Disagree7

Does anyone honestly believe green will give 10 million for players knowing that sort of spending would quadruple the wage bill celtic spent around 9 million but has now got a running cost of 36 million how can a club turning over 9.5 million go down that road

Agree18 Disagree1

Afraid it's in the accounts, unaudited though. the April books will be more healthy surely?

Agree5 Disagree10

Think we will find umbrella companies are renting use back the assets and milking the cash.

we can't to a share issue every year, the warning bells are well ringing.

if this is true. were bust within 12 months!

Agree12 Disagree9

Can we please stop the ' self accounting' on here. We should have learned to watch and see. Read what independent financial experts have said on subject. They believe it would be extremely unlikely to make profit before being back in top division. Worrying about it won't change anything.

Agree6 Disagree9

@5. that's the problem. Three years with no profit? Investors need returns or they are off.

Agree5 Disagree0

N2 its fairly straightforward players will be leaving ibrox to free up some money for new players plus I don't think anyone should worry to much about accounts if it was a major problem our charlieboy would sell to somebody else but he must know a good thing when he sees it cheers

Agree4 Disagree6

No7. i'm not worried i'm bloody craping myself. we could be £11 plus million in debt after one season the next three would see us having debt each year but still leave us with overall debts of £22 million (ish) plus we don't have a bank who will be lending us money? so even I can see that the share issue money, season ticket etc will be gone part way through next year? so where is the money coming from? and wake up people today will not invest in a team who are losing millions. Charlie etc are in for the quick payday then off they go. saying not there fault etc etc, same old I think,, the supporters need to be in charge simple. at least they wouldn't be taking huge bonus at the end of year. or monthly wages which will keep some of our large wage bill/bonus system down.
AS for buying that bloody land from Murray to build a "walkway" is he mad. that bloody man should have handed it over for free after the grief he has cost our great club,,, the *******.

Agree5 Disagree1

N8 look at your post again I think the word COULD says a helluva lot n7 cheers

Agree0 Disagree2

No 9 that why I said COULD,, to allow others with the brains to tell me different,,,,,, sadly none have?
You able to help. ?or are you another who is willing to let Green etc milk us dry?
Even our accountant states that there will be more losses in the next 2to 3 years? if that is not helping in the wording of COULD? maybe I should have said WOULD and been more honest in our prediciment?unlike our directors for the last 24yrs.

for me time for ally to go. we should be looking to the future not going signng players like kyle, sandaza, I think its time alexander went he has done a great job and loyal to the club, but he is 34 and cammy bell a lot younger and will be there when we get to the spl again.

Believable14 Unbelievable18

I don't think Ally is going anywhere any time soon not with that size of bonus waiting for him once we officially win this league.

I'm coming round to the view myself that he should be given one more season now that everything seems to have settled down but no excuses next year.

Agree10 Disagree10

I see the 'Sack Ally Brigade' are out again. Did Gers draw again?

Agree13 Disagree13

Here we are - only 9 games till end of season & at the moment we are going to be promoted. To play in the next league 'up?'. And still the SPL SFA SL, can't tell us what's happening next year!!
This is a joke - if we don't see any progress and end up playing the same teams again, why should we be spending money we don't have?

bil72

Agree11 Disagree6

Sack Ally Brigade can F**K Off he's stuck by us through all the crap when most managers would've done a runner. I admiit he still has a lot to learn but with the team he has he's done ok. Just need to get rid of the deadwood that's bleedin us dry. ie Sandaza, Kyle, Emilson-he just ain't that good.

Agree13 Disagree17

@4. And who signed the players you mentioned?

Agree13 Disagree1

He did not have too many clubs looking to grab his talents now, did he? He knows his limitations right now and he has stuck with it. Maybe someday he will be a good manager but not today! That said he has doen what was asked of him - win the division we are in.

Agree2 Disagree4

@ 3 the spl has put the proposals forward its your own sfl that's holding it up

Agree6 Disagree2

#4 Most managers would have done a runner?

I thought Ally was on round a million this season including bonuses so think again.

Agree5 Disagree1

@4 who do u think u r telling anyone to f off? Supporters are entitled to their opinion and if they feel Ally or whoever isn't up to the job then they are entitled to say so. U have your opinion and other people have theirs how dare u have the audacity to tell anyone to f off

Agree7 Disagree1

N5 ally allowed these new signing through desperation and they've done what was asked of them some need to go nodoubt about it but i'm glad they helped us out in our time of need cheers

wait to you see the team next season will be a lot better than the one the now.

Believable16 Unbelievable35

What do you base that on?

Agree22 Disagree3

@1 the arrival of Bale, Falcao, Gotze, Varane & John Daly obviously!
