Fraser Mullen released by hearts only 19 worth a punt for cover, thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Never heard of him, is he any good?

Agree0 Disagree0

Th xclue is in 'released by'. Whilst we have so many promising youngsters, why would we want their rejects?

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2013 08:21:02
@2: so Rangers have never signed a player who's been released? Or shouldn't as that means they're a reject?

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 You're missing my point. Why should we bring in youngsters when we have so many of our own ready to step up? Not suggesting that we should never sign a released player, but not at the expense of one of ours. However, if he was really good, they would be hanging onto him surely, or at least trying to get money for him? Maybe he has a bad attitude, who knows?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jun 2013 17:22:58
sone aluko was a player who was who rangers went for was good played just because some teams see a player in one light doesn't mean anything

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 Are you Fraser Mullen, or his dad?

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2013 18:49:47
Rangers stating no interest in Gomis or Bauben. I like Gomis think he is half decent.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How manymore midfield players do you want rangers to sign exactly op. BT

Agree0 Disagree0

We need centre backs

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2013 18:13:22
See in my opinion this is the best thing that's happened to us (starting from the bottom) since we have we have seen the players who are WILLING to play for the JERSEY! Anyone who we sign surely isn't lacking ambition but are wanting to progress by getting rangers back to were we belong! And this is where we see the youth players brought through. When we get back to the top I hope to god we don't do any stupid big signings which done us over and cost us, bring the players in who are WANTING to play for the badge and not the money. Would like to see cathcart and weiss back since they are o out of contract but tbh cathcart and weiss are top players but weiss cpuld be back since he is a rangers fan at heart but will money oversee him? Hopefully not, would be a reat addition for us!

The GS

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good god how deluded can you get. This Weiss nonsense is ridiculous, if he had went to celtic he would have done the same thing only in green!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed bring back the disagree button. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but this has been a nightmare!!

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Players who are willing to play for the jersey? I thought Sandaza put that notion to bed. Most signings are mercs who were being offered little elsewhere and their own club let their contract run out without tieing them down to an extension. Don't kid yourself. A football career is short and I don't blame people for going for the money. I agree with #1, many of you are completely deluded. No all, but a lot.

Agree0 Disagree0

While I agree they aren't playing for the jersey, I disagree with #3. All the players we have signed were offered contracts at their previous clubs.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 15:34:31
Sad but true. playin for the jersey belongs to a different era. Look at Scott the Ned Brown, a Rangers fan apperently but went with Celtic for the money. Just one example of hundreds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Weiss is the same as humphrey very fast but nothing else

Agree0 Disagree0

Went for trophies not the money. What a great decisions by browny. martyc1888

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 22:57:49
@4 but more than likely for less money tho

Agree0 Disagree0

N7 he would have won a lot more trophies if he had went to rangers how many has celtic won compare to rangers since he put his marh oops I mean signiture on dotted line

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes #4. I never said they weren't offered contracts, they weren't tied down to an extension. For players of any value this would normally be done 1+ year in advance.

Nobody is saying that these guys won't be trying, but let's not kid ourselves that they will be playing purely for the jersey. They are middle of the road pro's with a short career in which to make their money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Scott brown is a dyed in the wool hibee, like his whole family. stop posting mince. bet you stilll beieve the b******* about party tunes blaring out his car on way to sign for the hoops, or the onne about the alleged tattoo that got blown right out the water on Scotland trip abroad when he was pictured in his boxers on a sun lounger and then again trying to throw an ex hearts player in the pool, and no tattoo of the dubious types in sight. some of you lot believe some sad sh!te.

Agree0 Disagree0

11,

If images of broon in his boxers make you happy, so be it. 21st century after all.

No they ain't. tv talking rubbish as usual. We have enough options in midfield but what about defence?

To all rangers fans do yourselves a favour an go back and read the prospectus document. In there you will find lots of info regarding the club, how the assets were bought from rfc2012, who bought the assets how much they paid, what they bought, the structure of rifc after the share offer, how many shares are owned by the original investors in rfcl, how the subsidiary companies are structured, who owns them, how the joint venture with sports direct is structured, who has a lock in on shares, etc etc etc etc

Maybe then we can concentrate on this seasons football issues and hopefully enjoy some good football and watching our new players in action

Just a thought

JG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

But in the same prospectus nothing about Whytes claims or Greens pre-ipo shae sales. ?

you point JG - caveat emptor - buyer beware?

26,000 bought shares before and lost thier shirts.

How many fans are in jepardy this time, with the right intentions. to save thier club any way they can.

Just had a look at the Q&A about season ticket renewals on and a couple of people have asked for a guarantee we will not be joining an spl2 and not a single person has had a reply. Very worried lads! Davebear

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Jun 2013 15:40:55
What's worrying is an extra season playing part time carpet fitters and warehousemen.

What happened to the "if they play in the streets we'll watch them on the pavements" ffs if you support the team buy a season ticket an give them your 100% support. whinging about the SPhell does nobody any good.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2013 15:49:23
if you look on the official website craig mather explains rangers hasn't had any invite to play in a second tier spl, he also states we are planning for division 2

dandruff

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be more worried about all these new signings where's the cash coming from to pay them even if there is a move to SPL2, the income won't be that good will it.

Agree0 Disagree0

N3 it must be fairly obvios that we can afford wage bill remamber the saying once bitten

I notice that the Easdales have a "delicate" deal to buy most of Green shares.
Let's delicately suggest that Green sells to someone else like King.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well said. WW

Morgaro Gomis ex Birmingham and Dundee utd offered to Rangers and so has Prince Bauben. I think Morgaro Gomis would be a excellent addition. what do you think

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Do these 2 guys just come as some sort of package deal?

Here we go again! The spivs are gathering around Ibrox once again. I am sick to death of these people coming out of the woodwork to make a fast buck at the fans expense. Well this is one fan they will make F all from. I am NOT buying a season ticket just to fill these depicable peoples pockets! What was it Ally said? The club needs clensed? Is this an exaple of the club being clensed? I`m going to see the juniors next year - £ 45 for a Pollok season ticket! And not a spiv in sight!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good, your team and the rest of us will follow on without you!

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm down sun he is buying 700,000 of Charles Greens 5 Million shared. 5 Million shares was equal to 13% of the club so that makes 700,000 about 3%. You need 51% to have full control. This guys a hedge fund manager and former major shareholder with the Viz. His jobs is to introduce new investors in under valued companies. Unlike Whyte & Green he a clean track record.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, no way will I buy a season ticket until we have people who really care about Rangers future. I get a feeling the season ticket money will end up in the pockets of those investors who got their shares for 1p. We need to see some accounts for gods sake. At least show us on paper how the season ticket money will be spent to further the cause.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ Are you kidding. Do some research on the way he works in a boardroom. This guy has trouble wrote all over him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I suspect this site is full of wee timmys. Every true supporter I know and speak to, who had a season ticket last year will defo be renewing this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

People invest in company's to make money. Doubt they care about the football as long as cash is being generated to make them money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont buy a season ticket we don't want you

Agree0 Disagree0

The hedge mob buying shares will own one yes one percent the single number one so don't panic the ways things are going they will be choking to sell their one percent at the earliest date possible so calm down

Agree0 Disagree0

He is buying 13% of greens shares- he is not running the club or joining the board.
he will only have a only have a vote at the AGM or EGM.
The collective fans shareholding is greater.

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 a very blinkered comment, it sounds like if you have a different opinion frm me then beat it, grow up and listen to a valid opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

(5)& (7)
We are not, and never will be a support of knuckle dragging bigoted supporters who tell people how to spend their hard earned money.
If peple wish to hold off buying season tickets, then that is their right. They are allowed!
will we ban them if they don't buy right away? will we harrass them as bad supporters for waiting to see what's really going on at our club?
will we target them in the years to come? bloody hell get a grip. "We don't want you" what kind of person are you? have you by any chance got jackboots etc stored in the attic?
We the supporters have the right to buy when ever we wish, we the support have the right to ask questions, we the support have the right to openess? we the support don't need to be told we are not needed by persons like you. listen to everyones views not just your own. its called democracy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the big hoo haa over the accounts 90% of us wouldn't be able to decipher a well presented set of accounts anyway as they are set out to be decipherable by Philidelphia Lawyers only! Surely the only thing you guys can do is renew your STs and push for fan representation/ownership. PS My accountant is a Bear and he would be great on your board. Gbhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

A bit harsh 11, I see nothing bigoted in the guys post (this site IS infested) and then you go on about having the right to air your views but call him a knuckle dragger for doing just that. Surely you understand and even share the passion people have for our club and the desire as a supporter to do all we can to see it through the hard times, even if that means putting your hand in your pocket for ST without knowing where the money will end up. You have concerns, we all do and personally, I wouldn't blame you for wanting to wait a bit until the situation becomes clearer, but I, for one, cannot wait till the start of the new campaign and will do whatever I can to support.

Scotland has one season. football season. Duccablue

@12: infested? You do realise that this site isn't just for fans of one club? It's for banter about that club. If you don't like that idea, don't come onto the site.

Wishing the new season was here to see if Ally will improve his management tactics. If not can we really keep him as manager? WW

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We really can't mate but we will as Papa Walters there to make sure his job is safe & secure! I personally will be raging if we play Jon Daly at the back & one upfront Ally's the Greatest goal scorer this club has ever seen how would he like plonked upfront himself in that team never in a month of Sundays.

N1 I thought for a wee minute did criss boid not play for rangers

Believable0 Unbelievable0

06 Jun 2013 08:08:51
I'm starting to wonder if there is a problem with the shirt deal and/or sponsor. The new kit would be a good source of income and I thought this would have been out by now, especially when you see other teams releasing them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It was strange the new signings were pictured in last seasons kit.

Agree0 Disagree0

Puma have pulled out. Go check on google.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well F@ck Puma & Mike Ashley & Charles Green we need to cleanse this Club of everything all these asset strippers got near Traces of Whyte & Green will turn up for years I reckon what's next Craig wants his big Tele back?

Agree0 Disagree0

If PUMA have pulled out as you state then why has the PUMA logo just been added to the official site (top right) in the last couple of days. Honestly the amount of s*it talkers on here is amazing! Deal with the facts. if you don't know then don't comment.

I contacted the club last week via email address at foot of site, asking the question of the release date. The guy responded (someone with last name Duncan) that they did not know the specified date. Maybe only their department didn't know. No idea?

Agree0 Disagree0

Puma have not pulled out stop talking s****!

Agree0 Disagree0

#2 Where is there any official confirmation of that?

Agree0 Disagree0

They have not pulled out the puma sign is on the main page of official rangers site. Tip right corner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just checked google & the deal starts at 'the beginning of season 2013/14
so maybe august before we see anything

bil72

Agree0 Disagree0

At post no. 2: If Puma have pulled out, why is their logo on the official Rangers website?

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't see anything on the net saying Puma have pulled out.

Pmsl this is just magic lol keep going guys it is pure comedy gold lol
To the guy who emailed the club, brilliant lol since when do you get the truth out of the The Rangers but hang on you will email them omg lol I love this site pmsl

Just a little note, all these Celtic fans calling referees our brothers, eg masons, if they knew their history, they would know that big jock was a mason and that's why he was never offered a position on the board.

Heed

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And you have proof of this how? Stein was refused a seat on the board, shamefully, because he was non Catholic. The board were also scared of the power he had with the support.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets not Drag religion in again there's absolute no need guys nit picking about Big Jock who cares its History & no longer has a place at any of our Clubs I'm just back my Hols & seen 2 young lads clearly best mates seen them on 3 or 4 separate occasions everytime they both had a different Rangers Shirt & a different Celtic shirt on I thought that was great.

Us bears have suffered in the recent years but if we support our Club properly then maybe within 5years we can better them on the pitch without Celebrating Juventus beating them or St Mirren or dragging up Jock was a Mason his success must have came from his Elite Masonic Bloodline give it a break concentrate on our problems let's fix them & let's have a healthy Relationship with the old Tic. I'm still a firm believed that ones no good without the other we deserve to be where we are but I'm not going to lie & say I don't miss us playing In the Top Flight I think the standard improved last season but unfortunately a lot of the Clubs are losing there best players think it might be a touch easier for Celtic next season.

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Stein was not offered a place on the board as he was not corporate minded. However, Walter gets the job as Chairman! Season Tickets?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said larky bear its the only way we can all mob forward. HH. Joe

Agree0 Disagree0

I just mentioned that big jock was a mason because on their page they said the refs are our brothers 'masons', being a mason has nothing to do with being protestant or catholic, as there are many Catholics who are members of the masons, yes I know religion has nothing to do with football.

it also has nothing to do with the ira or any other paramilitary group. Football is best described as " 22 overpaid schoolboys kicking a ball about for an hour and a half. " when people stop with the roi s*** and Ulster stuff then the Scottish game will move on.

Yes both clubs have large fanbases in Ireland and that is great but both sets of fans need to get it right and agree Protestant and Catholics along with North south divide and also freemasonary have nothing to do with football.

heed

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy who says big jock was a mason is correct and he is also correct saying that's why he was not allowed on the board 100 per cent true

Agree0 Disagree0

Good post do you remember celtic fans hiring a private detective to see if one ref was a mason what a pathetic bunch they are

Agree0 Disagree0

I liked big jocks tattoo

Agree0 Disagree0

Larkybear- the voice of reason. Well said that man!

Management and boardroom: Bawz

Players: Kids and Mercs

Fans: Bewildered

Conclusion: Another season of desperate wishing that SOMEONE will come out and say "Enough is enough" and take us by the scruff, buy out the shysters and put us back on an even keel with a plan to rise through the leagues, submit accounts and play the game as we all want to see it played.

Charli3.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would the majority of the fans accept 4-5 years building a team in the lower league that's what's needed.

Agree0 Disagree0

4-5 years building a team in the lower leagues are u mad we can't afford to play in the lower leagues Rangers wouldn't get relegated out the SPL next season we could Defo compete for Top 6 might not make it but who cares what have we supposed to do Play for 4rd spot in Div2 so we don't get prompted?

Agree0 Disagree0

4rd?is that 3rd or 4th confused

Agree0 Disagree0

If ally gets his tactics right the gers would have a top 3 position in spl

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers need to get to top league to get euro football we need the money to but better players ime happy with our new players they will get us back to top league
