A couple seasons ago there would have been a few players in Scotland that might have improved us. Looking at Jack Davis Kamara Arfield Aribo there is no midfielder in Scottish football outside Celtic right now that could shift any of them. No strikers better than Morelos. We are now looking at different market to improve where we are. Think we will have learned from last January and come back even stronger. Don’t really need to sign anyone if we hold on to everyone in my opinion.

Grezda will go down as one of the biggest ever Rangers flops for me. I remember at the time we signed him, his Albanian manager said he was a 20 million pound player and he was to good to sign for Rangers and that it was a bad move for him. He also said if he stayed at Osijek he would eventually land a move to a bigger club than Rangers. Borna Barisic also said he was the best player at Osijek. He showed absolutely nothing to substantiate any of the high praise that was showered on him. Massive waste of time and money.

Looks like greg docherty could be signing for wigan. Young doch is very unfortunate that our midfield is so good at the minute,
because he is a good midfielder himself.
I wouldn't begrudge docherty going to wigan or any club for that matter, as he is certainly good enough to be playing first team football, at a decent club, at a decent level.
He's a fantastic professional and a very strong, fit guy. I wish him all the very best whoever he signs for. He absolutely adores rangers into the bargain! When we signed steven davis a year ago, i honestly thought that young doch would learn from davo and eventually be his master's longterm replacement, alas it just wasn't to be.

Just want to make a point about our need for a striker. IMO it wouldn't limit Defoe's minutes on the pitch at all, as I reckon we need someone who can play with him, as opposed to him, when we are without Morelos.
Defoe has done well up front on his own when called upon but it really isn't his game. His limitations are obvious, so to get the best out of him, and for an effective plan B, I think we need a partner for him. Therefore someone wouldn't be coming as third choice, but as a joint second choice.
I posted before about how many forwards we have had in title winning seasons and I reckon 8 goals or so from another striker will be essential.
No idea who however!

Everybody's going on about a right side forward. His name is Jordan Jones. Someone posted the other day saying Kent is left footed and should play on the right to cut inside. He's actually right footed but was encouraged/ told to practice left footed when he joined Liverpool as a kid. He's two footed just the way Johan Cruyff was. He said if he could get his left as good as his right he'd be twice as good a player. Proved his point.

Personally can't wait to kick off the next half of the season. I totally agree with both coldo and irvger. Ryan kent is a fantastic player and very important the way stevie G wants rangers to play. You're spot on irvger, that kent got a bad hamstring injury early on, in his first game back for us. He'll no doubt show what a terrific player he is for rangers. He's most definitely worth £7million and will go on to be a very special player for our football club! 👍.
