Good evening fellow bears. Hope your day has been as good as mine.
I have to admit I took a peek at the Celtic rumours site and its all starting to kick off on there. I also saw their team bus being attacked by so called fans on social media and it makes me so proud to follow the famous.
Their " fans should be ashamed" of themselves as real loyal fans don't act like that.
Hope Stevie G keeps the players focused, committed, motivated and most of all become legends in what will be a monumental achievement when we win and I firmly believe we will win the treble. So I end with stay safe and well bears remember 55 is coming so don't miss it and thought I would copy and paste this statement from the other rumours page and I sincerely hope our 9 years of pain are finally going to end in 2021.

The most encouraging thing for me is that we have had to work hard in recent games for our win.
Last season we did not look confident and lost focus but this year we look assured, no panic just eep the ball, probe and the gaps and opportunities will come.
It's ours to lose now but we should keep our powder dry, stick with our traditions of respect and prove that we are above the rest.

I was reading steven gerrard interview tonight regarding how highly he rates our player of the year in waiting and our club captain james tavernier. Gerrard said he's played with both glen johnson and kyle walker and says tav is up there with them🤔Some compliment indeed 👌.

Tavernier is one the best right wing backs in Europe and has been for some time but now he, s got SG behind him and his qualities are now showing. My mind boggles to think that K Walker cost City 50M + cause James Tavernier is 10 times a better player than Walker every will be. Also JT will soon be up with some the best RB, s that played for Rangers!

I think Tav has turned into a cracking player this season, but to claim he has been one of the best right wing backs in Europe for some time is ridiculous!

Usually when someone posts something as absurd, I like to have a nosey at previous posts.
In March you said we need to completely rebuild our defence (a defense which included Tav) . You mentioned some players we can rely on, but Tav wasn't one of them.

Kyle Walker is totally overrated like many of the English players. What trophies have England won since 1966? The reason their club teams are so good is the foreign players. Tav and Barasic are as good full backs as any in Britain right now.

I agree briangersfan that we have a good few candidates within our team who could stake a case for player of the year thus far mate 👍 I personally thought and have said as much on here, that kent would be our player of the year this season 🤔
However, we have a right back with 16 goals already and I know there's a good few penalties in there, with god knows how many assists and we've not hit the new year yet! That is remarkable stats from tav and he's undoubtedly playing the best football of his career 👌 He's grown into the rangers captain's armband and is a leader without being the very vocal bawling and shouting type. there's many ways to be a leader 👍 Taking all this into account i would think if tav's form continues, he's a stick on for player of the year imo 🤔.

So BRW11 please tell how many goals or how many assists has Walker had compared to Tav& I can confirm it very many and remember Tav, s have also come in Europe, I can assure that many people are watching our Captain at the moment and RFC will have a decision to make in summer ie hold onto Tav or sell him for a large fee. If you, ve ever played football then you, d realize that Tav is a far better footballer than Walker ever will be and only reason City paid so much money for him cause he was England full back and was fast but if there, s a better attacking wing back in Europe at the moment then I haven, t seen him and by the way Walker could never lasse Tav, s boots!

Celtic are struggling partly because they feed off their fans whereas we are thriving without the moans and groans in the crowd.
I’m guessing that our guys will build confidence when we win the league and be less susceptible to negativity from the terraces but my view is as always that the fans should support the players through thick and thin and let the manager deal with weak performers.

Watched the Celtic game and the commentator said that a tackle by r. county should have been a red, when it was a soft foul, he then later said, the pitch was the problem because Celtics passing was bad. I have to admit I've been critical of tav on a few occasions, saying he no captain material, no vocal enough on pitch etc. He's made me eat my words! Sometimes leading by example no all about being vocal on pitch, it's how you train, how you eat, how you conduct yourself away from the pitch as well as on it. Tav is a great example to the rest of the team he's as fit as a fiddle and he has worked so hard on the faults in his game! We are lucky to have him what a player he is.

Yes Banxger folk on here said tav wasn't a captain because he wasn't vocal enough and i said it against their posts then and i'll say it again now ie. because you don't bawl and shout the way baz did as captain, doesn't mean your not a good captain, because there's many different types of captains 🤔I could never understand this absolute s***e 💩 talk! I also stated many times that if a great captain like steven gerrard made/ rates tav as captain material, that was more than enough for me, because gerrard does know what it takes to be captain of a massive football club 👍.

Banxger tav absolutely merited the criticism he got. Sold goals on many occasions and that highly embarrassing program post last year.
However he has learnt massive amount and is a better defender who gets plenty cover from midfield players.

Morelos played crap and his passing is even crapper, but his presence is a pain in the ass for defenders. I admit that he seems to over hit every pass, too strong and he gave the ball away a few times, but he made the pass to Davis, who then passed to tav and made the goal. No matter what, nor who plays, our record is up in the top five of all of European football. We are winning. Points is all that matters.

Sorry, can’t agree on Tav.
Last year I think he was still solid but the midfielders were not filling in behind him in the same way as they are this year.
This year every players knows their role and we are well drilled.
Tav almost has a free role and is popping up in the 6 yard box because he knows that the guys behind fill in.
Last few years were a work in progress and Tav was in exactly the same place as the manager which is why SG kept faith with him.

Why would they need a rest they are athletes and I don't think playing a couple of games per week is going to burn them out. And most of them get a rest anyway in the spfl as its our opposition chasing the ball about while we pass it. Granted the boys worked hard on Thursday but today was a walk in the park. Best team starts every game for me regardless who we are playing.

If you look at our forward line it has everything JD is the penalty box striker, itten is the height, roofe is the creativity, and Morelas is the physical aspect of the team. We are playing as a team and imo moleras is vital part of that. Look at the first goal and most important morelas drags the centre half out to pass to davis, this allows Tav the space to recieve davis and pass and also one centre half short for roofe to finish it off.

All our players have been superb this season and a mention without a doubt to steven gerrard and his terrific management team 👍The manager is the most important ingredient in any successful team and i firmly believe and have always stated he'll be a fantastic manager for rangers 👌Choosing one particular player is very difficult and agree with many above the scotty arfield has been outstanding for us this season like defoe, mcgregor and davo who are role models and the more senior players within our squad, which shouldn't be overlooked and is mightly important. But if i have to choose one player, its ryan kent for me guys! Even when not at his best his workrate off the ball and skills are detrimental to how gerrard wants our team to play. He'd be the hardest to replace if we sold him IMHO! He's the most skillful player rangers have and his numbers are superb this season 👌He drags players all over the place and out of their comfort zone, which of course allows space for his teammates! He's a special footballer of that i've no doubt 👌On his A game he's unplayable!

glen kamara and alfredo morelos will be sold in the close season 🤔 Also remember it both barisic and kamara show up good for their respective countries croatia and finland in this summer's euros, then we're looking at an even bigger transfer fee for them! I would imagine around £30million + for a combined transfer fee 🤔.

The club are not inviting bids for Kamara but unfortunately when you are successful people are interested in your players. Kamara has genuine interest in clubs willing to pay his current valuation. Fact! Why would a potential buyer wait until after euros so they can pay double? And yes, when your selling assets after announcing 15mil losses year on year, dress it up how you like but it’s balancing the books. Money will be reinvested. It’s called evolution.

Guys, what does everyone think about Dave kings comments? I think Steve g will be raging. Knowing what Dave king is like, I understand how he done it but it just adds more needless added pressure when we're still early into season. I didn't have any issues with his comments as he was truthful and honest. We are on the up with a team full of assets. Celtic are going down with a team full of players who don't want to be there. As he said the house of cards is falling. Yes we have a long way to go which he also said. Why would Gerrard be Raging? He knows he has the full backing from our board. He's in charge of one of the biggest teams in the land with a team who's doing all he asks. We are performing well on the park and off it. So why would he be raging about getting paid a big compliment from the man who saved our club and hired Gerrard in the first place. I think Gerrard would have felt very proud and happy if he watched the interview.

If you don't think this is the start of the collapse then that's fine and would rather keep quiet then that's up to you. But me I've been gloating for weeks and it just keeps getting better by the day. I'm enjoying watching the cards collapsing slowly but surely and consistently. If you think them winning 2 games out of 11 and that lots off them wanting the board and manager gone isn't funny and pleasing and worth gloating about then fine. There's plenty of folk with the same opinion as yourself and plenty like me. Do any of you guys on here still have the fear? It might be verging on the irrational and that we are playing ever so well, have a much stronger squad etc etc, but I can't help fretting over how things have gone belly up for us previously.
I suppose I won't be settled until we win that elusive first trophy, until Tavernier picks up a cup, until we need to create more spaces in the Trophy Room for the latest silverware.
God knows we all deserve this, from the boardroom to the youngest fan. Today, like all match days from now until it happens, I will have the fear, hopefully followed by the relief and jubilation that has been the outcome all season so far.
