06 Apr 2016 23:39:02
Some might disagree but i would like to thank mr mccoist for his contribution to getting us back where we belong he played a massive part and before its said a know he got paid well but no manager who was rangers class would have taken the job on when he stuck by us deserves credit and i for one would like to see him shown some appreciation for what he did make him part of the return on the last home game of the season even just be there and involved true rangers legend no matter what.

07 Apr 2016 02:33:58
I Totally Agree Mate, I Was A Bit Peed Off At Him When He Was Makin Silly Decisions And The Players Wernt Playin For The Gersey, But Us Rangers Fans Where Just Hurt By All The Things that's Went On In The Last 4 Years And Takin a lot Of It Out On Ally Aswell, But Hey, Were Back In The Top Flight Now, And I Can Only See Amazing Things Happenin To This Amazing Club Now, Hopefully Ally Comes Back To See The Mighty Glasgow Rangers. We Are The People.

07 Apr 2016 08:24:56
One hundred percent agree. There was hardly a long list of people wanting to manage us at that time. Not a good manager to say the least but let's not forget folks, regardless of that he is a Rangers legend and should be remembered as such. Top post sir. Well done.

07 Apr 2016 09:02:34
Sorry but the man was an imposter. Easily the worst manager we have ever had and the greediest. Backed all the chancers who ran the club and like them took fortunes out of the club. Brought in some truly awful players and played the most dire football this club has ever played not to mention being manager for some of the most embarrassing defeats the club has suffered and couldn't win the petrofac cup in 3 attempts!

07 Apr 2016 09:12:30
Just my opinion biffo but remember we had no structure to the club then no scouting in place and if mccoist would have walked away a believe we would have been in a terrible mess wasnt manager material but he gave his all for the club at out time of need yes he got a big wage but he was offered that i for one won't forget what he gave and did for our club.

07 Apr 2016 09:35:17
He gave very little. what he did though was give us hope, and a squad. I'll thank him for that. however I like many others will remember him for his salary, his pathetic tactics, and his training ground antics. Worst manager by far, and the way in which he continued to drain the club he loved the most. nothing short of heart breaking. 800k a year.

07 Apr 2016 09:54:50
Spot on Scotty. No one is arguing your points biffo, but as I said no one else was busting our door in to manage the club through what was the most horrendous time in its entire existence. Yes the football was dire, yes he made bad decisions and yes he got paid very handsomely for all of that. However, he put up with every con man and idiot that strolled through our doors and yes he may have said he backed them but do you really suppose for one minute he couldn't see them for what they were. If he didn't back them he would have been without a job and Rangers without a manager. (Not as if there was a draw full of cv's to choose a new one. )
Can you not just forgive him? Do you not remember what he HAS done for our club, how many vital winners he has scored? Are memories and loyalties really that tenuous that we forget the good stuff and vilify so quickly?
Regardless of his managerial tenure, Ally McCoist will ALWAYS be SuperAlly to me and many others as well I suspect. We are all entitled to our opinion biffo and you are no different. So although we have different opinions on this matter, we are all true blue together, forever.

07 Apr 2016 10:47:31
Scotty

Where your argument falls down is that he was up against part time players and for all the problems still had a far bigger budget. How much did these teams get to spend on players? What was their budget?

07 Apr 2016 11:00:58
Ally stayed too long in my opinion done well to get us out of div 3 and 2 people saying there was no structure or scouting then surely that's up to the manager to have the brains to put these things in place just look at what warburton and weir have done, they came in and seen what was needed surely mccoist could see it and he should have been a bit stronger with the board to get some kind of structure in place and we should have built from youth in lower leagues but instead brought in guys like kyle and sandaza.

07 Apr 2016 11:01:16
Get ally back for Alloa game he may not entirely due our thanks but he must be given a chance in front of our fans, super ally's goods far outweigh his bads if we don't take this chance to finally close this horrible chapter in our long glorious history we are no better than that other mob, one day a book will come out about what the hell really happened to our club and I am sure we will get a wee insight to what ally was up against but let's let ally know that he was SUPER ALLY and always will be super follow follow.

07 Apr 2016 11:08:07
Sorry I didn't get to meet up with you blue when I was over down under, turns out I was mostly drunk!

07 Apr 2016 12:06:44
Pieandbovril

He didn't just put up with every con man that strolled in he BACKED them. I'm not going to say anything against Ally the player as he was a great club player who scored a lot of goals in Scotland. As a manager however he was shocking and his tactics, high wages and choice of player has left a bitter taste in the mouth.

07 Apr 2016 12:37:28
Big rfc how could he put scouting in place when the club couldn't afford it that's why we never had it he was working with what he had not saying he was a good manager just done what was better for the club we could have had someone else in but we had a rangers man who related to the fans and biffo he did have a bigger budget and better squad no denying that but he wasnt just a manager he was doing everthing for the squad and taking all the pressure just think he deserves a thanks for what he did and his part he played bad football or not he got us promoted twice in a row and for me was part of the journey back.

07 Apr 2016 13:44:42
He couldn't do anything with coaching and that's why he got the likes of Sandaza and Kyle, he didn't have the time, we were running against time to get out of div3 by any means necessary.

07 Apr 2016 18:52:15
Scotjo

He was up against part time teams with next to no budget! He had the luxury of bringing in players like Shiels, Black, Sandaza and paid £500k for Templeton. The football that was played was atrocious, the tactics were non existent and some of the results were embarrassing. He also backed Whyte, Green and the other chancers that ran the club as well as insulting our intelligence by claiming he didn't know what he was earning.

07 Apr 2016 00:07:56
Ally mccoist will always be a rangers legend in my eyes and I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say in your post scottym28, he started the journey and what he put up with through the board over our four years out of the top flight will never be repeated to any other glasgow rangers manager in our history! I hope ally will be present at our last home league game against alloa when we get presented with the championship league trophy, I think it would be a very touching gesture by our current rangers minded board of directors to invite ally mccoist as a guest of the club to that game against alloa, I'd go as far as saying we should welcome him onto the park before our trophy presentation to let him take a bow in front of our fans as well as remembering all legends that helped and came through the most trying and difficult times in this famous worldwide institution of a football club's history, the late great sandy jardine should be afforded a very special mention for what this class gentleman did for our football club through thick and thin and many many years of service, god bless sandy jardine who will never be forgotten! !

07 Apr 2016 17:40:36
I'd blocked sand dancer from my memory- worst ever player to wear a rangers shirt.

06 Apr 2016 22:47:53
With Tavernier and Waghorn linking well and McKay and Wallace linking great, do we really need cover at full back?

Remember Dom Ball playing at left back in a game this season.

If we get Tavernier injured there is a little problem but if we get another centre back in its likely they could play there.

Andy Halliday played out of position all season and can play at left back. Doubt full back is a position we will try and find in the summer.

07 Apr 2016 07:53:14
Maybe the youngster can cover? Although I am sure 5 or 6 players will be signed this summer.

07 Apr 2016 08:04:48
100% need cover, just for choices and so players don't get complacent.

07 Apr 2016 11:43:38
I don't think MW is the type of manager who want two players for each position.

07 Apr 2016 17:42:54
Someone who could play both sides as an attacking full back would be ideal.

06 Apr 2016 21:36:29
2 x Tickets Old Firm please or know anyone who sell spare? Pm me Will pay good price.

08 Apr 2016 06:34:38
Just a thought maybe waggy will be on the bench against Peterhead would give us a good shot in the arm if he makes an appearance in time for semi final.

06 Apr 2016 21:35:19
If there's ever any evidence to give fans an official no and a place in rangers hall of fame then were up there. we broke records while our journey started. take a bow people. through thick and thin.

07 Apr 2016 07:52:35
Is number 12 not reserved for the fans?

06 Apr 2016 19:04:14
Tips for this weeks festival at Aintree will be posted on our Horse Racing tips page.

Members and editors will be sharing their tips over the 3 days leading up to the Grand National.

07 Apr 2016 01:05:37
Thanks for the post Ed023 -didn't realise that we shared a Horse Tips page - will be posting regular on there - Cheers.

{Ed033's Note - That site is golf, horse racing and football tips.

07 Apr 2016 13:39:14
My tip save your money and bet on mickelson to win masters at 20/1. he's played well this year and knows the course better than most having already won twice there. Take that price while it's there as it won't be for long. Stenson and outshousen (spelling! ) Both good outside bets as well. Maybe Fowler at 18/ 1 also.

06 Apr 2016 20:54:26
We should pay for a top Spanish or Dutch youth coach for 5 years and learn what they teach. They are the best.

06 Apr 2016 22:58:55
Vic85 mw has been all over europe studying the way the best euro teams operate, that's what he is drumming into the unders coatches and he's been doing so since he arrived at our club or haven't you noticed lol, no need to change his way of doing things.

06 Apr 2016 19:19:17
Livi have congratulated us on our title win.

06 Apr 2016 21:04:46
Without having a new club dig?

06 Apr 2016 18:37:24
Putting this one out there as i think most fans agree we could do with cover/ competition at full back. Shay Logan of Aberdeen. Always looked good when i have seen him, can play on both sides. Aberdeen have confirmed he is out of contract in summer and knocked back a new deal. Worked with MW at Brentford and came through youth at Man City so background that Warbs likes. Thoughts?

06 Apr 2016 19:30:02
Not exactly a bad shout but i don't think he'd be happy with a rotational role.

Definately need cover for our wing backs.

Considering some of the shouts on here this has been the most reasonable recently haha!

06 Apr 2016 18:28:27
I personaly think next year will be easier. there won't be 21 players in 1/ 3 of the pitch. mackay and ohalloran pace will hurt any team that want to attack us. for me mario gomes from hearts for our holding mid. hearts put him out on loan this year so not in there plans. bags of experience and a tough nut in the middle park.

06 Apr 2016 18:42:54
I don't think the step up will be as big as some think and we should get a bit more space against less defensive sides. Guess you mean morgaro gomis and think he's the right type of player but when iv seen him at Motherwell this season looks like his standard has dropped a bit from his prime.

07 Apr 2016 09:06:30
Why would we pick a player who isn't good enough for Hearts? I know we picked up Holt but he is a young player whereas Gomis is near the end of this career. Sure there are plenty of better options out there.

06 Apr 2016 17:14:17
First time poster but long time reader! Finally pulled the finger out and registered so hopefully be a more avid contributer going forward!

Over the moon to get over the line and back to where we should be, long way to go but exciting summer ahead before next season kicks off. Would hope we can do the business at the weekend and hoping for an open game against them in a few weeks.

MW and the squad and staff deserve plenty credit, and while people may still question DK, the board and the long term plan, it definitely looks like we are on a more solid footing.

Anyway, I'm unfortunately out of the country for the old firm game, on a stag doo in Berlin. Any of you guys know anywhere that might be showing the game? 15 strong crowd of lads (mixed bag so sure we'll have a laugh! ) and we don't want to miss it!

Cheers.
RG.

06 Apr 2016 17:43:25
A sensible way to put things mate, never been to berlin would love to go, you'll catch the game somewhere no doubt.

06 Apr 2016 17:49:41
Next week Robroyston.

06 Apr 2016 20:35:26
The further bunker just down from the reich chancellery, may be on there, lol.

06 Apr 2016 21:17:50
Lots of sportsbars in the touristry areas - might well be on in one of them. Depends what other games are on at the same time.

If your into clubbing go to the "boiler room" - one of the best and coolest night clubs in the world.

06 Apr 2016 23:06:02
Irish Harp, just off Kurfurstendam, near Adenauer Platz U Bahn, Irish bar, but will make you welcome, as long as there are no persons with you.

07 Apr 2016 07:49:04
Cheers Troops!

Aye Luigi, Boiler Room and Watergate are on the cards I think!

06 Apr 2016 16:44:18
Strange how when we had our problems the outrage that was directed towards us for not paying tax. All of a sudden we had tax experts popping up all over the place telling us every tax bylaw we had apparently broken and how morally corrupt we were.

After the leak from Panama the other day where rich and powerful across the globe have been exposed for tax dodging using off shore funds - including the father of the prime minister- not one of these self proclaimed moral tax experts has had a peep to say, almost like they don't even know it's happened (despite it dominating the news in pretty much every country in the world) . We are talking about vast sums of money, billions not millions. Makes Craig whytes fraud look a bit amateur in comparison.

Where are the self-proclaimed moral tax guardians? Sorry, forgot they don't know anything and it was all petty small minded wind up tactics from persons who hate our club.

Just like the new club / old club crap they keep trying to wind us up with even though it was boring four years ago. Rangers is rangers. Always has been, always will be.

Rant over.

06 Apr 2016 18:00:00
The thing is they're still there just its about other stuff. let's be honest we have to take it on the chin, our club wasn't properly run. i know i'd suddenly turn into an expert if it was the other way around. i had pals explaining all our problems and didn't even know how to sort there own tax code so i took it as it was, banter hard at thw time because of how all of us were broken hearted at the time watching our club go through the ringer, its better now let's enjoy the other banter without all the bitterness that goes with some of it.

06 Apr 2016 18:05:16
Luigi they're probably all over in the caymon isle withdrawing there own money before the tax man gets them, lol.

06 Apr 2016 21:42:18
If the situation was reversed, we'd be giving them exactly as they give us - and vice-versa.

I think we'll need to agree to disagree with the doubters for ever and a day - they won't let it go but it'll dilute over time. And we'll need to prepare for some interesting welcomes as we're hosted around the top grounds in the country next year. Many have not had their opportunity to gloat, yet.

That which does not kill us makes us stronger.

06 Apr 2016 15:55:03
to be the ref for the OF game next sunday.

06 Apr 2016 17:50:35
Whoever it is there already getting the blame over on the dark side.

06 Apr 2016 18:13:39
I put Thomson, but that must be a bad word in forums haha!

06 Apr 2016 18:22:24
Get hugh dallas back.

06 Apr 2016 18:46:39
Mclean is the most descent ref imo but anyone but Thomson would be ok.

06 Apr 2016 23:11:30
Cee, we better hope thompson will be ok as he is the ref for the semi final .

06 Apr 2016 14:36:54
hi fellow bears any thoughts on the summer signings should we be looking at keeping billy king and perhaps get a few quid for mckay? i know he has come on leaps this year but in my opinion billy is a better player.

06 Apr 2016 14:40:47
disagree there. Mckay is the better player. Also he links is perfectly with Wallace. I don't rate King that highly either.

06 Apr 2016 15:40:03
Would like to see King stay but he's nowhere near as good as McKay. The wee mans looked tired recently but a good pre season and he'll be on fire next year.

06 Apr 2016 16:05:14
Agree McKay and Wallace link perfectly as do Waghorn and Tavernier.

Doubt there'll be changes to these positions next season. 4 of the best in our team.

So we have both wings sorted. Now it's the centre. Centre Back, Centre Midfielder, Centre Forward. All priority soon when the seasons over.

Holt and Forrester are both class acts but we need protection for that defence as we all know.

06 Apr 2016 16:52:20
Thorn76

Do you not think we need cover for the full backs?

06 Apr 2016 17:49:11
I like King and would want to keep him but to suggest selling a young Scottish talent like Mckay is nuts to put it politely.

06 Apr 2016 18:30:35
Keep mckay amd try to get king too . Also agree on what we need and think it should probably be more experienced players for centre back, defensive mid and proven goal scorer. Also agree cover for full backs needed. shay logan could be that man. he's still young, been good at Aberdeen, leaving on a free at end of season and worked under mw at brentford.

06 Apr 2016 22:42:00
Biffo316 I would say no.

Tavernier was great with Waghorn in the team and they bring the best out one another.

If we bring in a centre back, chances are they'll be able to play and cover full backs.

06 Apr 2016 23:39:14
What happens if Tavernier or Wallace get injured?

06 Apr 2016 23:41:27
Thorn76
Playing a centre half as a full back is never a good idea. Ok you can maybe get away with it short term but if one of the full backs got a long term injury then we would struggle. Also it's always better to have some competition at full back and keep the current ones of their toes.

06 Apr 2016 14:11:55
ok ----my rank rotten comment was out of order. just would of liked 3 or four that's all. in saying that we have proved that Scottish football needs us big time----well done lads . proud to be a bear today.

06 Apr 2016 16:36:02
deecee. nice one, and Scottish football always has and always will need us, the amount of media attention around Rangers has been massive today. I don't know what it's like up in Scotland but more or less every radio station down here has been running on us being promoted, we have took our punishment and we are now proudly back where we belong, a great exciting time to be a bear. keep enjoying.

06 Apr 2016 12:55:36
Had to laugh at the wife's question (who doesn't follow football) - does that mean you don't have to play all these silly wee ruddy teams anymore?

06 Apr 2016 13:19:30
Ruddy should read diddy.

06 Apr 2016 13:37:07
Haha luigi, you've got to love them. Mine always says to me when talking for longer than 30 seconds, "I've lost you haven't I? You're thinking about Ally's overhead kick against Hibs again".
Yes, yes I am hen. What a memory!

06 Apr 2016 16:31:44
Pieandbovril, hope you got on well with your interview mate.

06 Apr 2016 12:52:34
I think Harry Forrester is going to be a key player for us next season. He is getting better with every game and looks to me to be a very good player. Shrewd piece of business bringing him in. I think the big time atmosphere will bring the best out in him. I've a sneaky feeling he may play a big part in the OF game.

06 Apr 2016 13:20:32
Seeker the boy is a Gem, bit of TLC from manager, run of games due to waggy injury has been the making of him.

Av been shouting for a 3 year deal, boy looks like he loves it at the bears, he works his sox off as well, does not hide

and I agree with you, think he going to have a big say against Selik, think he a big game player!

06 Apr 2016 15:23:28
He is a big game player, I think he is an every game player.

06 Apr 2016 15:41:51
He's been fantastic. Every time he's on the ball you feel somethings going to happen. Plus he's got a few goals in him as well. He'll be our main player against that mob.

06 Apr 2016 16:56:39
Let's just see how he and the other players do in the premiership next season before we lavish praise on them. Forrester should get his contract but it's going to be a completely different ball game for all the players next season. McKay, Holt, Waghorn, Forrester and Halliday have all done well this season but contrary to what some think it is a bigger step up and teams like Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts won't be as easy as Dumbarton, Alloa and Livingston.

06 Apr 2016 19:35:49
Biffo all they lads bar McKay have played in the English championship, Waggy's played in the EPL. The SPFL is not above any our teams level. The whole team would walk into any side there bar Celtic in my opinion. I think people underestimate how well these boys have done this year. A full team playing below their level is hard, it's Been park the bus time every game and we've still scored a barrel load.
I think Warburton is a good judge of player, and he wouldn't have brought them here if they couldn't make the next step up.
Granted some may lose their starting spot when quality reinforcements come in the summer.

06 Apr 2016 12:11:57
Just another happy bear here people, c'mon the Glasgow Rangers, back to the top were we belong.

Loved Halliday interview, "don't tell me this is not the biggest club in the world"

Lee Wallace, listen to it "these are the best fans in the World"

That is what I am talking about, passion for the club, loyalty, appreciation for the fans, which is truly deserved,

I think we have the making of something special, the band of brothers bond, young warriors, add in some good experience to the mix CB x 2, DM and Striker and some wing back cover and let's go a do the damage next year and deliver No55!

!

06 Apr 2016 12:54:51
Emotional night for everybody. Great to see Andy in among the fans in the Broomloan. Big Lee oozes class and is a first class captain of the world's most successful club!

06 Apr 2016 13:42:42
Totally agree Seeker - an emotional night all round. Absl delighted we are back where we belong as its been a long road.

'hats' off to Warbs - what a team he's built on a shoestring which plays with style. Hope DK and the board continue to back him this summer with a few more quality signings - the lad Stewart at Dundee looks the part to me and I for one would love the Weiss rumours to be true. Add a top drawer holding mid and commanding CB and we'll be all set.

06 Apr 2016 16:58:33
El Minto

What about cover for full backs?

06 Apr 2016 10:43:37
Full of praise for the team last night and of course it would have been great if we had scored a couple more and the fans able to relax and celebrate through the game but I was left wondering how any other top team would have broken down a 10 man defence. We have great 7s,8s,10,and 11s and it's just the 9 we're missing, someone to get on the end of a cross, maybe attack the 19 corners we had.

Anyway it's just an observation and not a criticism and I thought the co commentator John Brown was terrific on Rangers TV. He said more than once that Halliday needs to release the ball a bit quicker to avoid those crunching tackles on him. Halliday could do a lot worse than listen to that sound advice and he'll spend less time with the physio. King looks and plays the part of a Ger and we'll miss him when he goes back to Hearts. Good player.

06 Apr 2016 11:00:21
My brother watches the games on rangers tv he always moans about John Brown saying he mentions his management career and Dundee every game lol. I would take Billy king in a heartbeat.

06 Apr 2016 11:29:33
Would love to sign Billy King as well
. I like the patience we showed last night, they games are not easy.
Still think O'halloran will be more suited to the SPFL where he'll get more space to use his pace.
A can't wait to see how the team shapes up next year with some new additions. It's going to be a lot easier attracting players this year so I'm confident we'll be in good shape.

06 Apr 2016 13:34:39
I think a behind the scenes deal forking must have been done.
Hearts saying they had plenty options in that position yet King had played almost every match.

06 Apr 2016 16:24:12
Recbob: Yes he will, that is where he showed his good form with St Johnstone.

06 Apr 2016 14:24:00
I watched the game on RTV, great night, brown isn't my favourite person, having known him personally, but there's no doubting he, s Rangers mad, just always seems to me he, s constantly looking for a return to ibrox, , could do with his like next season tho, boys worked hard last night against a determined, defensive side, I was so proud to be blue, and my beer shed took a pasting, few curers this morning too as it goes, hats off to the fans who went everywhere to follow the Rangers, now get McGregor back and start the spine of the team with him, controversial I know, but he didn't ask for what they done

06 Apr 2016 10:36:43
Does anybody remember that deluded Hibee who went by the name of Gardner? Not been seen for a good while.

06 Apr 2016 12:17:49
The only person quieter than Gardner right now is Stubbs. He must feel like a right pillock after all his bluster at the start of the season. Warburton just dusted his shoulder and let the team do the talking.
A wouldn't swap out manager for anyone, he's got the class of Smith with a new modern football philosophy. People are quick to slate DK and the board on here but the decision he made to appoint MW and DW could be the best thing that's happened to our Club. The way we play and the fact that it's implemented from the youth up will stand us in good stead for years to come.
The sky's the limit.

06 Apr 2016 12:33:17
Think the cup runs have kept Stubbs in a job. Their collapse in the league has been quite startling- on current form have to fancy falkirk or whoever ends up 11th in playoffs to be in spl next season. Surely with the investment hibs made in their squad that would mean the end of Stubbs.

06 Apr 2016 13:32:25
To be fair to Stubbs last night during his interview on BBC Scotland after his game he said he would like to congratulate Rangers on winning the title as they were the most consistent team. Also said he would be giving Warburton and Weir a call to congratulate them personally.

A few times I have seen Stubbs on BT Sport lately he has seemed fair.

Got to give credit where it is due.

06 Apr 2016 13:45:31
Na luigi, he'll go on to have a glittering career at the tic and will be fondly remembered as a fine rangers manager!

06 Apr 2016 15:46:18
Alan Stubbs " We will not sell Scott Allan to our nearest rivals in the league"
Peter Houston "We never expressed an interest in him " 😂😂😂.

I don't like Stubbs, just to say I've got Davie weirs book and they are close friends, Davie was his mate at Goodson and they got on well, I think Stubbs fancies himself as a wind up merchant, still think he, l be at the glitterdome next season though.

Congrats lads we have had a great season this time last year we were hoping to come second with an old team now we have a team that want to win in rangers blue and have been sold on the club by that I would like a special thanks to DK and 3 bears for saving our great club and to mw and dw for transforming rangers into a place players want to play doing things the right way and giving us a team to be proud of.

Right bears let's move on until Sunday hopefully win the challenge cup then we have the full set of professional football trophies that are up for grabs in Scottish football hey thinking of it that must be another world record for the mighty Glasgow Rangers the first team to win every professional domestic trophy if we do win on Sunday and then we can fully focus on the SF with them from the east end and if we have a really good game and manage to beat them and then hopefully win the SC we may even be the first team to win a domestic treble of a team playing outside the top division of that country and also havin beaten the supposed best team in that country at the time.

Zeus79 and here was me thinking aberdeen were out the scottish cup, lol,

What a difference a year makes. This time last season we were third in the second tier of Scottish football and humiliated in the playoffs. Now with Warbs and Weir we have cantered the same league and actually been entertaining.

A win over Celtic in the semi should be enough to give MW manager of the year. Here's hoping.

The SPL is not over yet and if Aberdeen can keep winning, (a big if I know) , and we beat the unwashed a week on Saturday, then with a bit of luck their season will crumble.

For those that dislike Aberdeen more than Celtic, believe me, there is nothing more despicable that Celtic. It is in their DNA!

Not much to pick between them Tom. I heard one of them on Louise White's phone in on Radio Scotland earlier. They were debating as to whether or not it is a good thing that we are back in the top flight. This guy was giving it Sevco, sectarianism, newco, liquidation, debts, etc etc and though Louise, give her her due, kept reiterating that it is accepted by all authorities that this is Rangers, the same club under a different administration, this bitter Muppet would not let it go until she mercifully cut him off. It is a shame that these two are fighting it out for the title tbh. A lose lose situation, for me at least.

excellent back where we belong. i think now we have won the league we will beat the rest of the teams we have left no problem a lot of nervous people on the park tht haven't been in tht situation before. will make them stronger. manky mob we are coming so b ready because the magic hat and his troops are coming for 55.

06 Apr 2016 06:28:27
I think we should go for mario gomes from hearts for holding mid. does a cracking job for them has got bags expierence and hearts let him go out on loan this year so not in there plans could get him cheap.

06 Apr 2016 10:59:59
Mario gomes when did he sign for hearts it's Morgaro gomis that plays for hearts and he is definitely not rangers quality that's a certainty.

06 Apr 2016 06:23:04
Step 1 of 3 people. never mind the semi final. ok step 2 is thimpson and feeder club dundee utd to go down then step 3 newcastle to go down then it would be a great great season. there only 1 champions of scotland.

06 Apr 2016 09:47:56
Davie
I'd almost forfeit an OF win to guarantee Thimpson and his club go down. Almost!

Morning fellow bears well that's me at the airport waiting for my flight back to belfast still feeling a bit hazy but hey. don't be telling anyone but WE'RE BACK! lol #.

06 Apr 2016 03:47:03
good morning fellow bears. we are back where we should have always been. let down by people we intrusted our great club with not to mention SFA and fellow clubs. We have came through a tunnel of hatred in the Scottish football world and maintened dignity as our club was destroyed by criminals (not proven and will probs never be) and been defiant and supportive to the hilt apart from the Ashley/ Easdale attempt at power.
However we have been saved by our own people and ourselves the fans. Sir Ally may have acted as our saviour but is rubbish coaching and twelve month gardening leave as the fans tried to salvage us from a dreaded 2nd administration told me a million story about 'the legend'.
Anyway thanks have to made to many people some Rangers and others people who took the club to there heart from there time in Glasgow. First Stuart Mcall who began the difficult turn around on the park but needs credit for his attempts. John Brown and Richard Gough for the vocals to warn our fans of the parasaties whom were ruinning our club (Alex Rae aswell) . Hover the three bears and Dave King were the medicine that slowly killed the poison (thankgod) .

And on to last nights promotion it was both refreshing and well timed to see tweets from ex players who didn't shaft us in our lowest moment and transfered there contracts before going to pastures new (take a bow Davies, Bedoya, edu, Bogenegra, Goin, Alexader;little, maculoch) All that said with the exception of the great Davies one man 24 years at the time Lee Wallace sacrificed bigger contracts and International recognition to stay with us and in the modern day of footballers is a rare breed and will always be MY GREATEST RANNGER. Take a bow Waldo you have earned it ten fold! (i had season book from 92-2011) Moved away for carear reaons but always follow closely

Was also humbled by comments by De Boer bros, nachoNova. Mols, Numan, Love krands, vuckic, Adam and Lucas Podolskie?
We are back and football is a better place

From a personal point of view am delighted big Davie Weir.

English bear. I've been a rangers supporter way before you were born so take a pill. of course i'm doing handstands especially for the 50 odd thousand tonite. they are the heart and soul of this great club. job done yes . but its just the beginning.

06 Apr 2016 12:52:33
Deecee, you don't know how old I am so drop that one. The first words you came out with last night were "rank rotten"a great statement after our team had just won the league, i and every other Rangers fan knows we need to step up a gear and changes need to be made, but more importantly so does MW, i don't care how we won the league I'm just glad we did and I've enjoyed the football more this season, after the sh@t we watched last year. I've followed Rangers all over Europe mate and I travel up from the wirral once or twice a month with a few other's to Ibrox or away games, so I know what I'm talking about. However I do agree with you that it is just the beginning and I believe it will be the beginning of something special, I'm not going to say we will win the spl next season but with a few more added to the team we won't be far off, so let's just continue to enjoy the journey, I'm sure it will be a good one.
