Will be good when we win the league this season, nice wee 4 in a row then go to America for a tour of the USA, sounds like a great pre-season coming up after this season. Kidding aside, there is a long way to go, but i'm confident because Rangers are winners.

i would like to ask why there seems to be no action being taken against sceptic regarding the bile being chanted by there fans during the hearts game. and the sad fact of them sticking there fingers up to the hearts under twelves squad being paraded at half time mark.

Well look closer to home... Infact nearly every 5th or 6th post referring to Celtic fc as 'sceptic' referring to the fans as mankies (s-bear) or manly mob ?

Go to the green side of this forum and you will find it hard to see many (not say any because they will be one somewhere) Celtic fans referring to such names as above ? Yeah you will get blue noses,the huns, the other side but nothing like bile like you see on this page ? Yes I heard what happened on Sunday was pretty clear on radio & sky but when rangers fans complain about stuff like this (as said above) every 5th/6th post is being reffered to as mankies etc ?

Think the phrase pot kettle black ring any bells ?

Ps don't argee with what was being chanted on Sunday from both fans the oh ah & Neil Lennon ur a ... Also the masks of the guy that hit Lennon?

Don't say being called a mhank offends you then say pot calling kettle black. Its makes you sound like a fool. I personally like the banter side of things, words like "smelly ones, septic" and whatever you call us in a similar vain (I don't know, I don't read the runners up page) not so keen on the silly sectarian names we have for each other "hun/tim" but I've always said, its not what you say its how you say it. If there's venom behind someone's patter you can normally tell.

Fellow bears this is what we are up against, absolutely shameful.
A lot of what I am about to write people may not believe. It�s natural not to � especially if, like me, you were at Ibrox on Saturday and know that not a single sectarian, bigoted or offensive song was sung. However the following is a transcript of a conversation between Dr. Stuart Waiton (SW) of Take a Liberty (Scotland) and Humza Yousaf (HY), the Scottish National Party MSP and member of the Justice Committee that is overseeing the implementation of the Offensive Behaviour at Football Bill.

It took place during a show on Radio Scotland on the 3rd October presented by Kaye Adams. The show was littered with inaccurate comment but the below was the worst of the lot.

SW � �There was not a single offensive song because they are already terrified of being arrested.�

HY � �You clearly weren�t in the stadium then because you must have not heard what a particular number of people who were at the game heard�

SW � �I was at the game actually I was sitting with The Blue Order�

HY � �Well then clearly you had your earplugs in then because if you couldn�t hear what some of the offensive songs that were being sung.�

SW � �What were the songs?�

HY � Ignores question.

I would urge people to listen to this themselves. Humza Yousaf is a liar.

This is the type of drivel being spouted by the SNP as they try to push through this law to criminalise football fans. They will happily lie and spread misinformation to a public who are unlikely to seek out the truth for themselves.

Here is some more information about Yousaf www.scottish.parliament.uk/msp/memberspages/humza_yousaf/index.htm. I�m disappointed to say we share both school and university in common. Things must have gone downhill since I left. It is interesting that he mentions his interests as including civil liberties. I can only deduce that his interest in the subject is to curtail those liberties as much as possible for people attending football in this country.

We as a support and the wider football community have to start challenging these lies before it is too late and this Bill has been passed on a wave of apathy. Speak to your MSP and find out their view. Challenge those views if necessary and the people who tell these lies. Otherwise being a football supporter in this country is going to become more trouble than it is worth.

His email and contact details are readily available, surely some bears who attended the game should drop him a wee line and ask exactly what he thought were the offensive songs. Or make a complaint through the supporters groups, or Rangers themselves.

Victimisation is what it is. Its time we found a way to fight back. Sectarian songs are wrong i think any decent fan will agree with that but i will say again Rangers are being victimised. Other clubs have a percentage of fans who routinely indulge in this kind of behaviour and walk away scot free. European clubs have far bigger problems with racism and crowd control bit this never gets mentioned either. Time to get a petition going maybe?
