Here's to the best supporters in the land.
4 quarters 1 weekend
3 quarters total attendance 34,558
Ibrox Sunday live on tv 33,968.
🔴⚪️🔵.

05 Mar 2018 19:21:56
Is that the Manchester calculator your using again.
Ibrokes was half empty on sunday😷

05 Mar 2018 19:46:28
‘The Manchester calculator’

Typical Shellick fans bumping patter. I think you’ll find it’s your mob that exaggerate figures hence the Seville calculator.

Lucky if you had 15,000 at your oversized bus shelter on Saturday.

Ps. How’s the 40m bid coming along for that donkey Dembele?

05 Mar 2018 20:59:52
80k rhodents descending upon your beautiful Spanish city! How much of a nightmare must that have been? Bet they had never before seen hundreds of mhutants pishing all over their fountains and vomiting in their bird baths lol

05 Mar 2018 21:23:35
Another Dhim who clearly can’t take the fact that the so called best fans in the world yet again failed to fill even a third of their stadium.

05 Mar 2018 21:57:17
😷 what’s with this as well? Correct me if I’m wrong was it not sellick directors that dished out letters to season ticket holders to improve their hygiene before Entering breeze block boulevard? 😂😂

06 Mar 2018 00:27:27
Your so called best supporters in the land never saved your old club though.

Donkey dembele 😂😂, think you might regret saying that come Sunday, he has a pretty decent record against your team.

Trying to slag paradise, when your own stadium is nothing but an eyesore.

06 Mar 2018 09:07:28
Well if you think that Celtic park and surrounding areas is paradise then I hope your not a holiday rep

06 Mar 2018 10:10:41
There was 18,255 in attendance at parkhead including away fans. That's terrible by any standards. 33,968 while not great, for a Sunday game on tv against lower league opposition, is not to shabby. No dodgy calculators involved. Just official attendance figures.

🔴⚪🔵

06 Mar 2018 10:50:57
yes and the posters around the pigery make that stadium look classy😂😂😂

06 Mar 2018 12:19:14
When is the casino and retractable pitch at ibrokes getting completed? 😂😂.
Did yo not have banners hanging from your stadium to try and hide the place😂.
The facts are Celtic have more season tkt holders then you do, we have had an extra 11 home games in Europe, the weather conditions were a lot worse on Saturday than Sunday for people to travel.
Walking away it’s the Rangers way.
Ibrox will be half empty after half an hr on Sunday just like the time we pumped you 5-1

06 Mar 2018 12:37:44
Not to worry lads, them lot was saving their giro money for this week hence the 18000,

They need the giro cash for their mobile top ups for the phone ins to talk about us, need to keep a £1 Handy for the bus fare so they can awww meet up outside curry’s to watch us beat them on telly

Rangers win 3-1 or a 3-2 Cummings to score at least 1

06 Mar 2018 15:14:42
Ibrox is an architectural beauty, a Grade A listed building.

Your stadium is a cheap, rancid pile of scaffolding.

At the very least we can take comfort in the fact your forever scrolling the Rangers pages. The only show in town indeed.

05 Mar 2018 15:25:01
I really dunno why but I have got a massive feeling we will scud celtic and tbh Saturday I will be putting a fiver on 5-1 Rangers at 425/ 1

05 Mar 2018 18:04:10
What is that they say about a fool and their money?

05 Mar 2018 18:14:44
Right i'm more confident than i have been but that's pushing the boat out a bit mean come on you think they'll score 😂😂😂😂 would love to be true but i think it'll be a tight hard fought one

05 Mar 2018 18:16:37
For god sake calm down

05 Mar 2018 19:15:33
Yes calm down, Celtic favourites on Sunday but we have a chance and getting stronger. Brenda and Broonie will have them well wound up.

05 Mar 2018 19:19:09
With our current optimism and assuming things are going to plan next Sunday, how about this for a chant, to that annoying ear-worm tune by Sigrid:
"We are Raannggerrs,
We're title contenders,
We're head over heels
For something that's real,
It's going to be us, it's going to be us"

05 Mar 2018 20:14:12
5-1 mate that’s quality let’s hope so. It’s time Ibrox was rocking again with Rangers hammering Timmy
As Mr Levein put it Restoring the natural order of things.
I loved that comment it sent old sugger puff teath at Hibbs totally mental
With a rage
Love it mon the Gers

05 Mar 2018 21:34:12
OMG we cannot beat Hibs but you all think we're going to hump them. Our defence is crap let's be honest here man

05 Mar 2018 22:14:05
Aye but players always show up for the big game and then we have the best attacking side in the premiership that puts pressure on every team we play, celtic don't like pressure and they're defence isny any better.

06 Mar 2018 10:00:00
@ds - celtic defence is also poor. If it comes down to it we are scoring more goals than them just now.

06 Mar 2018 10:01:19
An theirs is brilliant is it DSGERSFAN?

A defence that Lustig is a first team pick in and currently backed up by Dorus de Vries between the sticks.

Have a bit of faith man!

05 Mar 2018 14:53:25
This for me is the biggest game for our team for the last 4/ 5 years, this will truly show how far we have come since Pedro left. Murty has gone out previously to contain Celtic as we did not really have the players to have a go at them, this time we do. Make no doubt about it, we will concede 1 or 2 goals on Sunday but its all about our forward thinking players.

Brown will be out to target Goss and I expect Goss to take a rough challenge within his first half dozen touches. We need Doherty to get in Brown's face and get on his nerves.

Windass is the key to us winning though, he will drift out the game in spells but he will score.

05 Mar 2018 16:22:32
100% agree with goss. Brown will noise him up and get in his face. Hopefully goss can deal with it and keep dictating the game like he has been.

05 Mar 2018 18:16:14
Docherty and murphy will be absolutely buzzing for this exactly why they came to the club for games like this, i'd play docherty on top of brown all game, he's a strong guy and if he plays well all good

05 Mar 2018 10:41:23
Our manager Graeme Murty has admitted as much himself, that its a total headache for him, whether to start Jason Cummings against Celtic at ibrox on Sunday! Morelos brings a helluva lot to the team when he's playing, whereas, like i said after i came home from ibrox yesterday, i do think that Cummings is the more natural finisher, between the two of them! So if you would be so kind ED, would you do a poll on this ie. Morelos and Cummings to start against Celtic, Morelos himself to start against Celtic or Cummings to start himself against Celtic! Cheers ED!

{Ed033's Note -

Morelos, Cummings Poll

05 Mar 2018 10:57:13
Play both up top against the trotters

05 Mar 2018 12:40:31
Playing Cummings would mean dropping either Candieas, Windass or Murphy.

No thanks, all 3 are playing brilliantly, i'd rather use Cummings as a sub. He's the type of player to give the place a lift when he comes on. Perfect player to sub.

05 Mar 2018 13:24:59
Id have Cummings on from the start ahead of Morelos for this one! love wee fredo but I think this game is made for someone like Cummings!

I do agree tho that against celtic its either Morelos or Cummings (not both)

05 Mar 2018 18:19:17
For me it's Morelos all the way his work rate and how he receives the ball with his back to goal bringing the team up the park allowing players to get forward I think he is twice the player of Cummings and should start

05 Mar 2018 20:06:59
While JC had his best game for us, if Murphy is fit he has to play. IMO he has been our best player since January and he's important to our shape which was noticeably missed yesterday. In terms of Morelos he had one of his worst games but he is stronger, works harder, and is better linking play than JC. Windass is the form player and Candeias is undropable. So it's a hungry Cumdog on the bench for me, brought on with enough time to influence the outcome.

05 Mar 2018 20:11:05
Yes BearMode91 but it needs to be an early sub not 70 plus minutes. Maybe even at half time if Morelos is not doing it.

05 Mar 2018 10:38:33
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the work Murty has done for the team. It has been such a long time since I've seen our team play with so much fluidity and passion and It's outstanding that he is achieving what more experienced managers could not. In my opinion, he merits a new contract and I hope to see him as our manager for the foreseeable future.

05 Mar 2018 11:47:10
I also think he is doing a great job
However let’s wait and see how he gets on in the bigger games as we haven’t really played anyone this year apart from the sheep and let’s see how he gets on against that lot
On a completely different subject is anyone else thinking that the referees we have had lately are rubbish. In the last two games the opposition should have had a man sent off for either kicking or punching our players but have both been given yellow cards where the rules of the game say that both incidents merit a red. You better believe if it was a rangers player that had committed those incidents they would have been shown a red. Take for example jack against Hibs early on in the season. It just seems to me nothing is getting said about it.
Anyway and let’s get in about them this weekend

06 Mar 2018 08:06:55
He’s had our best two results against them barring the cup semi in 5 years. At castle gray skull to boot. Credit where credit is due mate. Cum on

06 Mar 2018 09:10:31
Huistra2

Castle grey skull?

05 Mar 2018 10:19:15
Hope DJ is back as soon as possible, Andy Halliday is not good enough in any position, totally understand he is out of position at LB but unfortunately not good enough. not even on the bench for me?

05 Mar 2018 12:46:48
thought he was excellent yesterday. good cover and would definitely be in my 16 everyweek. not my 11 unless injuries though

05 Mar 2018 15:44:53
forrest and Roberts will take halliday apart not a good idea to expose him like that

05 Mar 2018 16:03:50
Left back is the position he played in before he came to us. It's his natural position.

05 Mar 2018 20:29:25
Jamie murphy will take their right back apart irrespective of whether it was lustig (god i wish he was playing), or young anthony ralston or whoever else!

06 Mar 2018 09:11:32
Supercooper

Yeah but if Halliday plays at left back their wingers either no neck or Roberts will take him apart

05 Mar 2018 09:14:22
Bears, if you had a choice what do you thinks better
A. Semi final win
B. 3 Points on Sunday.

05 Mar 2018 09:39:16
That’s a tough one. But realistically as the league is not in our hands (even if we beat them twice we are relying on other results) I would say the semi and gives us a great chance of our first top flight silverware in too long mate. 55 will keep for one more year. The rangers are coming my man.

05 Mar 2018 09:51:46
I know where you are coming from Struth. but my choice would be both, get right into them!

05 Mar 2018 09:56:48
I'm greedy I want both had enough of they're smugness

05 Mar 2018 10:43:37
I want both but with a semi final win we smash their double treble.

05 Mar 2018 20:04:18
Both achievable but maybe I'm just greedy mate lol

06 Mar 2018 12:53:24
semi final all day long

treble bust.

05 Mar 2018 06:38:24
Funny how when things are bad everything goes against ya. When your on a purple (or light blue for us) things just go your way. Early in the season Jack gets sent off for nothing and we lose a game we would have definitely won. Yesterday Muirhead I think punches Bates in the town halls, the ref sees it and gives a yellowcard WHAT and then he goes up the other end and scores a great own karma:) .

05 Mar 2018 08:48:41
It was the same on Tuesday when Bates is kicked off the ball ref sees it and only gives a yellow. Absolute joke

05 Mar 2018 10:08:46
The ref had two options. He sees it, it's a red. He doesn't see it, it's nothing. A yellow card doesn't come into play. For him to opt yellow means he saw it and a straight red was due. You can't make up some of the refereeing decisions.

Review Of The Day 5th March 2018

05 Mar 2018 05:23:33
{Ed's Note - Tris Burke has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 5th March 2018

05 Mar 2018 00:28:36
I fully understand his asset to the gers, just an aside given the amount I've seen him miss which surely no bear can deny. I'll settle purely on his work rate and danger factor if let's Cummings do the same as today, but it is a talking point.

05 Mar 2018 00:02:05
Don't post much on here. But I feel now is as good a time as any to say that for the first time in a while, I am genuinely excited for this old firm. I honestly believe that if we play the way we have been we will beat them. Hopefully that will burst Rodgers and Celtics bubble once and for all. I'll be there next Sunday. Although I will be working as a steward. But close enough.
