05 Jun 2020 21:41:39
See Tim's Supporters clubs urging fans not to ask for refunds. Surely we must do the same, although I do understand some punters may need the cash back✌️.

05 Jun 2020 21:58:24
If you can afford to buy a season ticket then you can afford to loose it in normal circumstances. i'm sure that there will be a few out there that may loose there jobs on the back of this and that's the folks that should be helped out. Do we think that the people that worked through the C.V. crisis should get a tax brake or 3 months off on full or close to full pay.

06 Jun 2020 12:13:09
Yately we have asked our fans not to want money back.

05 Jun 2020 21:30:47
I see we have came out tonight proposing 14;14:18.
Our b team and there b team go into 18.
Guarantee money and taking tickets for away games. Pay to stream our b games.
Actually best proposal I've seen to date

I did write b teams should be in debate.
Allegedly Cellic support our plan.

05 Jun 2020 21:36:13
John25, is the proposal to try this for only next season or would it be for longer period?

05 Jun 2020 22:07:09
I think we r saying forever. It’s on the bbc sport website,

05 Jun 2020 22:07:33
dont know for how long, but it will save hearts, stranraer, and partick thistle from relegation, kelty and brora rangers to be promoted, if its to be voted on by member clubs i don't think it would pass, but then again with doncaster who knows.

05 Jun 2020 22:17:32
It's permanent I think with five year decreasing payments. Highest colts can go is championship. Don't see spfl clubs voting for it as would lose an old firm game?

05 Jun 2020 22:33:29
Snell I did not read it as losing old firm game.

05 Jun 2020 23:38:49
John25, If they play 26 games then split into top 6, bottom 8 the latter will only get 2 OF games pal.

06 Jun 2020 07:10:17
Stranraer would still be in bottom tier. Apart from that, the idea that lower league clubs get VITAL cash, plus guarantees that we will buy at least 200 tickets for away games, presents these clubs with a lifeline to survive. Especially in these times. In my opinion, this proposal does more than any authority or club has so far to help secure the future of the game in this country. We'll done, Glasgow Rangers.

06 Jun 2020 08:55:05
If our B team went into the league then that would affect our away support as there will be a game on at Ibrox every week. If the big team are playing at say motherwell and our B team has an OF game then there's a choice to make.
In my opinion if we have "winners" of a league we have to have losers its a consequence of their actions so no reconstruction for me.

06 Jun 2020 09:57:57
Jyf. We won’t play at ibrox in my opinion. I’ve read all the chat re boycott away games, so now we worry about away games.
How often have u Tried to get tickets for away games, not easy.
I’d happily support a b team home or away, even look how often we play at three on a Saturday.

06 Jun 2020 10:09:37
It's a good point John, we might get to watch a rangers team at 3pm on a Saturday!
The other clubs will veto it though.

06 Jun 2020 11:07:44
John25, I was not saying it as a negative I was saying it as a positive, a game at Ibrox every week. Why wouldn't we play at Ibrox by the way?
I firmly believe that there cannot be reconstruction just to save Hearts especially if a benefactor of theirs is paying for it, a dangerous road to go down in my opinion.

06 Jun 2020 12:17:19
Jyf I feel the pitch might not stand up to extra games. New pitch and stand at training ground may be an option.
We have long wanted our team to be in lower league, if hearts stay up and we get what we want excellent,
Our 17, 18, 19 year olds playing 100 plus games at that level can only benefit us in the future
It s about Rangers no one else.

05 Jun 2020 21:29:12
Alf will go at some point but let's get the best out of him and good value. How do we do that? At the moment Kamberi and Dafoe (his pal) know they are second choice and Alf knows that deep down. SO! Sign a high quality striker for REAL competition for Alf. As far as alf has been a Rangers he has had no competition at all, none, zero. He needs an upstart to push him, that's when we will see the best in Alf. When Suarez went to Barce he knuckled down as he wasn't the the only star striker.

05 Jun 2020 21:47:45
TJBB, think all about maximising Morelos’ transfer value. If he returns a mature dad wanting wanting to play and live in our beautiful country for a bit longer I now think he could stay thru next season. Agree he needs competition and we should sign Kamberi and another striker to put pressure on him for the jersey.

05 Jun 2020 22:31:02
Hey Bankie, I would love for Fred to stay for years and bang in the goal with red cards a distant memory however the other clubs n players and the Scottish media will not allow him to rest and will bay for blood till he goes. If and when he goes I hope we always remember the street kid from the absolute poverty that managed to get to Glasgow Rangers and score some outstanding goals in all competitions. His journey alone not recognizable to any (most) of us is worth a medal on its own.

05 Jun 2020 22:31:12
All about opinions but from my own personal point of view, i don't want us to sign kamberi on a permanent deal. There's many on here who don't think any striker currently plying their trade within scottish football is good enough for us to sign. I disagree to an extent bit imo dykes would be a far better signing than kamberi! I think lyle taylor would also be a better signing than kamberi. No sleight on kamberi intended here, as i think the guy is a decent striker, but there's better and within scottish football IMHO.

05 Jun 2020 22:48:39
SGL - I can't and won't disagree with Dykes however that optimistic look is 2 to 3 years in the future where we a can take a chance on a
striker and possibly loose some money. Right now we must WIN. All our baggage is gone. let's see what SG puts together for next season and take it from there. If we don't win anything SG will go. So at this point SG has some pivotal decisions to make to ensure we succeed, LD or not the boss will decide.

06 Jun 2020 08:42:30
Kamberi isn’t the answer and hopefully we won’t sign him also I hope if Docherty does leave we don’t sell him to Hibs. I would give that lot nothing.

06 Jun 2020 10:51:35
We won’t be selling to Hibs, no other side in our league out with the OF will pay for players in current climate, it would only be in a form of swap if anything.

05 Jun 2020 20:36:19
Fifaguy Leipzig would be a bad move for him. I spend a lot of time in Saxony and you need to embrace the culture and language. If I were him I’d be thinking Spain.

05 Jun 2020 21:39:57
Saxony and Leipzig have something in common.

06 Jun 2020 02:00:30
Asyouwere, like a young Colombian boy might have to do in Finland or Scotland?

05 Jun 2020 17:42:22
Alright guy's i was after some help if you can.
I've been trying to renew my season ticket and most years i just do it over the phone but, this year due to C.V. i can't do that.
Here lies the problem, my rangers account is ancient and hasn't been used since about 2015 and now when i sign in to try renew my season ticket i have noticed it has my old Rangers number so, it's effectively not allowing me to renew.
Does anyone know if that can be fixed? I've emailed Rangers but, I've heard folks on here saying they have waited ages to here back from them.
Im starting to worry now that i won't get my ticket renewed in time.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

05 Jun 2020 18:35:58
Yogibear1972,phone the liason officer greg marshall and if u don't actually get him on the phone leave a message for him to either get back to you or leave a message to the questions you're wanting answered mate. I hope this will help you get everything sorted pal👍His number is 0141-580-8670.

05 Jun 2020 19:44:58
We all have opinions, disagreements etc but this page we can all help each other too like we should . we have one thing in common we love the famous Glasgow Rangers! Good advice sgl.

05 Jun 2020 19:45:09
Is your current Rangers number not on your smart card? Just renew the password online and you should be ok?

05 Jun 2020 21:53:31
Cheers guy's,
I'll try some of these.
Ibrox3me, I signed into my account but, there's no way to change the Rangers number, i know the new number is on the smart card but, that's not the right one linked to my rangers account. I also tried to make a new account but, i just get a message that says my details already on the system.

06 Jun 2020 09:56:14
that happened to me also long time ago and had to create a new email account (its your email account that's registered against your old number) . perhaps you can do the same and re-register but i would try what SGL suggests first.

05 Jun 2020 17:29:16
I uploaded pics of our new kits to the sightings page, not really sure if they are the kits but I got the pics sent to me so I thought I would share. The home kit is really nice and looks good quality. 👍.

05 Jun 2020 17:40:44
Seen them few weeks ago. Just fans mock ups. home one looks too much like strip we lost 10IAR. don't fancy that one back haha.

05 Jun 2020 18:57:19
I like all 3 of them to be honest. White one is a cracker!

05 Jun 2020 21:11:29
I don't normally like the orangeish kits but this one looks pretty good, its not really orange more black with a nod to orange does the trick. The white and blue, as usual looks brill. Looking forward to see the training and lieasure gear. Noticed Charlie Lindsay was wearing a CASTORE top in is interview.

New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Rangers Shirt Tops

05 Jun 2020 17:26:42
Don't mind them coldo.

05 Jun 2020 17:30:26
I like the home top, I got the pics sent to me so thought I would share, not sure if they are genuine but like you mate I wouldn't mind them either. 👍.

05 Jun 2020 17:44:14
If they are the real deal Coldo they are very smart and a break from the normal. 👍.

05 Jun 2020 18:35:04
I like the home top very smart.

05 Jun 2020 18:42:50
I've seen those images a few weeks back also coldo. I'm a home top person, because that's who we are and the home top is the smartest. The white away top is also very smart and not far behind the home top! I like the black/ orange third top aswell, but not as much is the other two. We don't know if that is the kits, as there's no 5 stars around our scrolled badge. The 5 stars are actually on the sleeves of these kit images.

05 Jun 2020 19:09:30
I like the 5 stars on sleeve coop, I think that is smart and looks better to be honest. 👍.

05 Jun 2020 19:47:47
I like the 5 stars both around our famous badge and on the sleeve mate.

05 Jun 2020 15:06:00
Mr Grumpy - ALL Premiership players are out of our reach, as are Championship players, unless those players are in their 30's or are seriously injured or are totally out of form and not kicked a ball for a year or two. Perhaps the 1st Division is now our hunting ground but would think that it is the second division.

05 Jun 2020 15:38:57
Don’t buy that mate. There are plenty of players in the higher English leagues that would walk to Glasgow to play for Rangers or Celtic.

05 Jun 2020 16:00:02
There's plenty of players we could afford in the premiership and especially the championship.
Even more in Europe.
Not sure where you're getting your info from.

05 Jun 2020 16:06:03
Nonsense - where are they?

Talkin the talk is not the same as walkin the walk - or do mean doing the walk up once they have retired?

05 Jun 2020 17:07:02
There's plenty of players in England on wages we can afford.
Not sure why your getting your drawers in a twist to be honest 🤔
Then again in another post you claimed vdrya (a player we've been interested in the past) was on wages of £150,000 a week! 😉.

05 Jun 2020 17:20:22
According to Spotrac Vdrya earned £1.6 million at Burnley last year.

Once again I ask who are these 'plenty of players' in the English Premiership or Championship or 1st Division we can afford, who are not over 30, who are not injured and who have not played for over a year?

Are they the same ones who would walk to Scotland to play for RFC or cfc?

05 Jun 2020 17:30:20
I agree with TB, anyone over 30 playing in the top 2 leagues in England are only looking for a final payday.
IF there are reasonly good players who would 'walk' to play in Glasgow, where are they, name names.

05 Jun 2020 18:07:37
Okay here's some
Daniel Ayla, CB, out of contract.
On £28k a week
Jake cooper, CB, out of contract.
On £10k a week
Jackson Irvine, CM, out of contract.
£27k a week.
All under 30
Not sure why, if someone hits 30, they become useless? 🤔
Average wage for the best paid players in the championship, £29,000 a week. Highest earner- £68,000 a week.
Not that hard to find? 🤔
True blue you said all players in the premier League and the championship are out of reach.
I am simply pointing out that is not true! 😉.

05 Jun 2020 18:10:32
Vdrya, £1.6m a year= £34000 a week (not £150k a week)

05 Jun 2020 18:58:59
Aye but its close though mr grumpy haha.

05 Jun 2020 19:03:52
We recently have signed Arfield, Goldson, Dorrans etc. To say there’s no players will come up to us from championship/ premiership is $hit£.

05 Jun 2020 19:48:13
You lads honestly think there isn’t players on the fringes at the likes of West Ham, Brighton, Watford, Palace etc that wouldn’t fancy a go at the title and Europe under Stevie?

05 Jun 2020 20:02:42
We all know true blue is not actually true blue but a shade of emerald green, don't we?

05 Jun 2020 14:24:00
Paul 86?

Looked up Austin - he is/ was on £70,000.00 / week

Vydra is on £150,000.00 / week.

So this is your suggestion for RFC?

05 Jun 2020 14:52:34
True blue in my opinion the only striker we'll be signing from england is out of contract striker lyle taylor, formerly of charlton athletic.

05 Jun 2020 15:47:12
I don’t think we are really interested in the English players market anyway unless it’s free agents or Liverpool youngsters, there’s far better value in the Eastern European market and I believe that is one of our main focuses hence the signings of Barasic, Katic, Hagi ect over the last couple years.

05 Jun 2020 15:57:38
Vdrya is not on £150,000 a week! 😁
It's around £35k (which is still a lot)

05 Jun 2020 16:08:48
Surprised that Vydra is on that sort of money with Burnley.

05 Jun 2020 16:10:16
All we will get from England's top league are young loanees who are lightweights and have not measured up - we have had five or six of those. We might prise away those younger ones because our rules are different, fair play, but they will be on near the top of our salary scheme - Dodoo springs to mind.

05 Jun 2020 16:27:32
£150,000 a week at Burnley😭😭😭😭🤦‍♂️.

05 Jun 2020 16:45:25
True Blue vydra is on 35k a week at burnley on a 4 year deal. U must be using a seville calculator. Am sure to play european football he would drop a bit. Charlie austin is iver 30 and has already stated he would walk to rangers or celtic for chance to play. 150k hahahah aye a month.

05 Jun 2020 20:06:32
So what is Vydra on, true blue, £150k a week (7.5million a year) or £1.5million a year? Take your pick.

05 Jun 2020 13:43:13
After seening the latest comment on sm regarding martin bain. I need to share this with you.
Many moons ago i use to kick my kids over to Ibrox on my days off, to catch players leaving Ibrox for my kids to get autographs.

I came up with an idea that would net Rangers a lot of money.

So one off the days i was over martin bain was standing at the front door and told him bout my idea. It was for season ticket holders to sell there seat when they couldn't make the match. Half the money going to Rangers and the other half going to the cost of the season ticket holders renewal for next season.
All i wanted out of it was a Job at Ibrox.

He said. We couldn't put the logistics in place for this.

Seatsub ring any bells anyone!?

Hes a rat.

Rant over.

05 Jun 2020 14:26:10
He probably didn't like you kicking kids at Ibrox howaulds.

05 Jun 2020 15:03:45
exactly, how are your kids nowadays, have they gave you a kicking back?

05 Jun 2020 15:40:49
🤣🤣🤣.

05 Jun 2020 16:17:09
Lol guys.

05 Jun 2020 10:57:12
Go too Amsterdam and you'll get dykes for £50.

05 Jun 2020 14:33:09
I went to Amsterdam laudrop and I can't understand how the persons couldn't find Anne Franks there's signs everywhere pointing you there. Weird .

05 Jun 2020 15:04:55
I spoke to Dykes in Amsterdam, he was in a hurry to go for a leak but asked if i had any spare fingers i didn't need, how weird.

05 Jun 2020 03:26:35
It really does amaze me of the ignorance of some folk on here about RFC finances. Cosgrove, Dykes and Shankland are at our financial level, players in England who are proven are not.

Get your head out of the financial sand.

05 Jun 2020 08:38:10
Free agents from england who are proven goalscorers are not out our reach. Charlie austin or pay few mill for Vydra. both far better than once mentioned.

05 Jun 2020 08:42:08
Sheep are apparently wanting £4m for Cosgrove.
Livi and utd, it's £2m for dykes and shankland.
Is that our financial level? 🤔
Which players linked with us in England are out of reach financially? 🤔.

05 Jun 2020 08:50:24
Mrgrumpy, trust me mate you will get lyndon dykes from livingston for around £1million.

05 Jun 2020 09:31:59
Cold hard cash will prize Cosgrove, Dykes and Shankland away from their clubs at bargain prices, if RFC want them.

The only players we get from England are those on loan, and us paying top dollar to get them. How many have made the grade. If we want another one or two from England, who are proven goalscorers, they would have to get their pay cut by half. We are now competing with the Blackpools, Charltons and Tranmeres for bang average players - Joe Worral, Dodoo, Ojo?

We really need to open our eyes up to what we can afford. At this moment Joe Worrall would cost us £5 Million and is on £27,000 per week.

What we can maybe afford are players aged 37 who take massive pay cuts from their £90,000 / week salary?

Can anyone tell me who is out there, who is similar, but younger, than Defoe and would be willing to take £60,000 off his pay to join RFC?

05 Jun 2020 09:33:30
Shankland is a typical striker converts a lot of scraps and reminds me of a boyd type player and would properly do quite well for us I'd go with a cheeky 500 k and see how it goes not a massive amount to gamble with and could still sell on as is young enough. Cosgrove not worth 4 million, dykes wouldn't go for 1 million either Livingston would take a lot less.

05 Jun 2020 09:41:21
Big Dykes, £500k max ✌️🇬🇧.

05 Jun 2020 12:41:34
£4 million for farmer Cosgrove? Ooft. Mind you they wanted 9 million for McKenna.

05 Jun 2020 12:53:37
Good deal that yately.
Not convinced the sheep and Dundee United will accept 'bargain offers' for they're most valuable players.

05 Jun 2020 13:53:29
Mandy 93, regarding dykes i did post last week that we'd probably b able to get dykes for around the 750k mark and £1million maximum.

05 Jun 2020 14:29:16
No way are we going to pay around £1 million for a 3rd rate 3rd choice striker like Dykes.

Very likely Alfie will still be here and if not then a Quallity replacement will be needed as a 1st choice. Not a bench warmer.

05 Jun 2020 14:39:57
I believe that we could get some players from down south without only being loans but due to the overpricing and large wages we would have to be very selective about this.
Further to this I do not believe we should look at paying out millions on any striker in Scotland. Although I like the fact that Scottish teams are starting to move away from being a bargain house for smaller English teams I do not believe £4m for Cosgrove is great value for us. For example we got Morelos for £1m. We should continue to scour Europe for talent at better value.
The only one I believe we should go for is Dykes and no more than £600k.

05 Jun 2020 17:06:16
Call me old fashioned or a dreamer, but, i genuinely think we have a few young guns in the youth rank who will be used next season, we are not shopping in Harrods for players i know that, but, some players in the Prem and Championship would relish the challenge of playing for a massive club with amazing supporters, and SG is a pull as manager, all is not lost, we won't be spending fortunes, but i believe we will get a bit more quality in. Remember the dhims are going for 9'5* in a row, and it needs to be stopped, so patience lads, let that lot go on the phone lines and newspaper forum foaming at the mouth, let's keep our powder dry and await lift off, we live in their heads they can't enjoy success as long as we exist, and i laugh my head off at the drivel they come out with, 4 tainted titles with no Rangers in the league, and they are proud of that, they have no shame, since 1888. let's stick together like never before, us against the world if you will. Rangers first Rangers always, keep safe bears and bearettes,
