05 Dec 2016 21:21:40
All i see is rumors about possible creative midfielders coming to ibrox but not a sniff about any decent defenders surley that's got to be top priorty for MW in january.

06 Dec 2016 13:13:38
yes ARRfC defenders are a must and we need them to be quick and powerfull can't be signing another kiernan.

05 Dec 2016 20:46:37
Dose of realism needed. Aberdeen are hopeless in Glasgow, Hearts beat us convincingly and we have only beaten two of last years top 6. Sure its progress but its not enough for people to be acting like we are great again. I enjoyed the victory, but the Warburton is Magic brigade cannot just surface after the odd win.

05 Dec 2016 21:29:34
I agree with the idea that there needs to be more realism adopted by some fans with regard to Warburton.

However, you can't just say Aberdeen are statistically mince in Glasgow and that is why we won, we won because the lads switched on and took their chances for a change.

The game against Hearts was terrible for us and a great display from them, even if we played well I think we would have still lost goals.

06 Dec 2016 00:17:08
Aye, okay it was a tad harsh they did play well but Aberdeen also underperformed. Hill certainly improves the defence anyway, part of the reasons we played better.

06 Dec 2016 13:19:34
I don't think Aberdeen underperformed at all spoc they where at our heels and chomping at the bit to get the win.

we played well and that's why we won.
we are a better team than the sheep and if u don't believe that then what are u doing wi your life.

the players have struggled and had a very poor start to the season but thing can't get any worse than the hearts game during the week no passion no power or pace in our play that day.

I honestly think that if we beat hearts at the weekend and are the better team in that game that it can be the confidence boost that we need to turn our season around.

I know the gers are playing Redbull lipzig in a friendly in January but, I would love to see rangers play a friendly with Parma. They have experienced financial oblivion and like us been through some really tough times. Just think back to the gers playing them in the champions league when both clubs were kicking ass. What a tie it was and what a great way to show our support to such a great club.
Would anyone else like to see Parma coming to Ibrox again?

05 Dec 2016 20:31:35
Yogi, would Parma be interested is the question.

05 Dec 2016 22:16:18
Well you'd think with them being in the third tier of Italian football a glamour friendly with a past foe might appeal to them but, I'm not sure. Just thought it would be a good spectacle that's all.

06 Dec 2016 00:17:56
Glamour friendly? Come on we aren't quite there yet! Give us a couple of years then when they're back on their feet along with us it can be glamorous.

06 Dec 2016 10:34:17
Dont know much about parmas situation but will they ever be 'back on their feet' yes they had good a good few years in the 90s but historically they're not a huge club they are no milan/ juve. i'm not so sure they will ever be back to top of serie a.

06 Dec 2016 11:13:50
I would happily pay money to see that match.

As I said during the summer I'm amazed the board didn't set up a couple of friendlies with big name clubs as the money raised would have come in handy.

06 Dec 2016 14:51:19
Why wouldn't they want to play the world's most successful club?

05 Dec 2016 18:08:17
Obvoiusly i care we score and win but more importantly the players looked hungry and up for the fight.

05 Dec 2016 21:30:35
Waghorn always has a hungry look about him mate.

05 Dec 2016 22:47:50
say that to his face lol.

05 Dec 2016 16:49:45
after the hearts game I am ashamed of what I did, I said get rid of warburton for the first time I was soo angry after that game.

please forgive my outburst.

I think if he gets second this season he should be given another season to try to challenge for the league. (however hard that may be) .

leats be fair to the guy he came in and with basically no money in any of the transfer windows, has built a team that is up there in the league.

its taking the players time to adapt to the struggles of spl football but I believe that warburtons philosophy on football is the correct one and one i'd like future generations of rangers teams to play like.

remember this is the beginning of changing our style and philosophy and may not master it until we have the money to buy in players of a better standard.

05 Dec 2016 17:15:05
the jury is still out on warburton.

05 Dec 2016 17:26:39
Believe me, not being cynical or anything, but if the performance against Hearts at Ibrox this weekend is anything similar to what we got at Tyncastle, the Knives (arguments for the manager to go) will be back out in strong force again.

Saying that, looking forward to a series of decent performances (hopefully results) leading to January, when the manager can bring in a couple of new midfield players.

05 Dec 2016 18:58:39
Thorn76,
That's why it's our job to make Ibrox bounce like it did against the sheep. If we get right behind the boys like that again then that will fire them up to give us a performance.
I personally can't wait to get back to Ibrox again for that game.
No matter what the results are you there's just no better feeling than being a rangers fan. !

05 Dec 2016 19:36:53
That's a typical post on here James, when u win u are great and going to close the gap etc etc. When u lose u are crap no tactics, fight etc.
There is no balance and u don't look at it without blue tinted specs.
Very few on here look at it from a football point of view, and refuse to see what's in front of them.
Just like at the start of the season.
In fact many many on here repeatedly say Celtic are average, poor even crap.
Don't u know by devaluing Celtics abilities u diminish your own lol.
All I read on here was how good this/ that player was last season, goodness me that was in the championship.
Which part of that do some not understand, since many on here have pointed out how poor u were last part of last season in the championship.

05 Dec 2016 19:44:41
There is no bigger fan than me but i have no issue with having a dig at warbs or the players and i am no less a fan for doing so.

Warbs is clueless as a manager but clever enough to pull the wool with his constant sound bytes.

50,000 fans knew last year we needed a commanding CH and a proven goal scorer. Obviously Warbs didn't.
He keeps going on about stats, has he looked at our goal difference? when was it ever so bad.
Keeps telling us we will learn, when?
What little money we had he has wasted and he should get no more. If he can't finish 2nd with the squad we have in a league of poor teams then he has to go.

A decent manager with this squad would play players in their correct positions and not stick to a 433 that is not working for us.

05 Dec 2016 20:48:47
YogiBear72

Ibrox is always full which is great, but as we all say, it may as well be empty given the noise you get most games.

From the start we have to be up for it against Hearts, fans and players. Holt was in and about Aberdeen the second the whistle went, as they all were and it continued throughout the whole game, which was essential, commitment to the extreme.

If we get that kind of display again you can put money on the team getting the same kind of backing again, like they got against Aberdeen.

05 Dec 2016 22:21:17
Yeah Thorn76, the tempo was intense right from the off. I really hope the boys are up for some revenge after last Wednesday. Hearts are not that good and it showed against ross county. I know we have struggled against hearts for a while now but, we have to be up for it on Sat and I'll do my bit from the stands.

05 Dec 2016 22:48:31
emotions were running high after such a bad performance.

06 Dec 2016 14:42:53
Aye James. I didn't go as far as saying he should go but instead I cast doubts as to whether MW had lost the dressing room. Judging by the reaction of the players and the celebrations afterwards, clearly he hasn't. Says a lot for you to come on and say you were wrong pal. Well done.

06 Dec 2016 14:44:22
We are as good as 17 points behind Celtic already and have offered them no challenge. What makes certain people on here think it will suddenly improve next season. Under the current manager the gap will only widen and if he doesn't go this season he will next.

05 Dec 2016 12:17:00
What a difference a goal makes, after we scored you could see the confidence coming back, with most passes finding their man and everybody wanting the ball, maybe at last we are on our way, although it does show that pressure from the fans on the players does affect the teams play.

05 Dec 2016 15:06:44
The reason scoreing a goal made a massive difference in confidence is simply? Week in week out we hardly score never mind play and make some descent chances😭😭😭.

05 Dec 2016 10:03:16
Not going to deny that we played well against aberdeen. But one result won't change my mind on MW.
Joe Garner is running around like a headless chicken at times. But does no one think he is just missing a strike partner someone to play off him as he is without doubt very good at holding the ball up.
I told a mate of mine I wanted MW to go and he said I just want the club to fail as I had saidI was sure we were going to get beat at the weekend. He phoned me straight after the game to gloat about the result and how I am wrong. Sorry but one result changes nothing and I would love MW to make it I would love for everything to start to click but it seems obvious to me it hasn't and wont. No matter if he stays or goes one side will be all 'i told you so'. I am happy were second but I am also happy am a realist in my views and my views on the current squad and management team. I mean come on, he even knows himself he doesn't have the correct players in midfield that he is bringing in players from other positions to try and fill the gaps rather than just changing it.

05 Dec 2016 11:53:22
You never actually say what is so so obvious or why the team can't be successful, as for the midfield we are plagued with injuries and Barton leaving. No wonder your friend phoned you, you don't seem to pay much attention at all.

05 Dec 2016 14:30:53
Reformed.
I pay enough attention to know that the manager has no idea how to change our formation. That out defense is shocking. That our goal ratio is shocking. That his purchases in the transfer market are mostly shocking. Again one game since the semi final win to be proud of, just one game. I have no problem with my mate phoning me to slate me but my thoughts come from a season so far not from one game. I was pro MW but the hearts game was the final straw for me and it will take a lot more than one game to change my mind.

05 Dec 2016 09:33:30
Ryan fraser putting in a great shift for Bournemouth yesterday. Matt Phillips continuing his form again too. Strachan no doubt will pick Forrest again. Sad times for our international team.

05 Dec 2016 11:21:19
Phillips, Fraser, Arfield and G. Boyd are all epl regular's, where are they in Strachan's mind?

05 Dec 2016 13:10:17
Airfield plays for Canada.

05 Dec 2016 13:16:21
Only because he waited long enough for Scotland to call hime up and we never! Instead we were calling up Mcginn.

05 Dec 2016 22:49:14
tom cairney should be in the squad 100 percent.

04 Dec 2016 22:53:44
Mamadou Sakho has been told by klopp he will leave in January, think we should sign him as is a big demanding centre half which would compare with Celtics sviat and kolo, yeah wages will be a stumbling block but we got to sign players like this to get back up with Celtic, if we aren't going to do it soon enough we will permanently be fighting for second place.

05 Dec 2016 07:53:14
yeah mate, you ain't got a spare 12 quid, let alone 12 mill. fans like yourself are the reason your club went tits up before, chasing celtics european cup, now trying to compete when there is no competition atm. you should be thankfull your club are back and building, but i forgot, its all about the rangers.

05 Dec 2016 08:32:44
You know it's all rangers, with your lot on a gers forum everyday.

05 Dec 2016 09:04:54
No, we went tits up befor as you said because of a chancer, we were managing the money fine.

05 Dec 2016 09:19:29
its just more entertaining on here del atm, no pot to piss in and your wanting rhodes, sakho etc, but then I've always been a sucker for a fairytale.

05 Dec 2016 09:40:46
We haven't got anywhere near this kind of money and to even consider Sakho is madness. We can't and won't be able to compete financially with Celtic for years and can only hope we resolve the kit deal sooner than the 7 years' notice period. Somebody posted the other day asking if we should have gone for John Soutar and the answer is surely yes but then again where's McParland doing his scouting?

05 Dec 2016 11:56:22
Wasn't it fans like yourself bhoywonder that led your own club to go bust? Spend more time here than on your own page, why? You were missing when Diela was in charge your just a glory hunter. We support our team though thick and thin, we all can prove that. You have nothing to say when you aren't successful

05 Dec 2016 12:23:08
dont talk mince Ross, explain why i'm a glory hunter?, yeah i can see in the past few months the support pouring in from your fans on here, its been a while since we've had nothing to say then. PS i thought ronnie did ok tbh. we will see if the support is still there next season. i do spend time on this page to have a convo with people that have a clue. can't be bothered with the, my dads bigger than your dad bollocks youve just spouted.

05 Dec 2016 15:25:08
Boywander - your mob are splashing the cash out on your Ryanair flight to Manchester this evening - no expense spared there then -.

05 Dec 2016 16:47:21
i know afcw, shocking, we shouldve donated the 3 grand to the get warburton a transfer budget . com. couldve got you a player for that ;)

06 Dec 2016 11:28:44
chasing celtics european cup? what a joke well 2017 brings celebration to celtic, 50 years of doing nothing in europe and i mean a big zero, as you know rangers were the first british team to reach a european final in 1961, i was at the final.

1972 i missed due to moving house from corby back to glasgow , so the score stands at 1-1 you can put your gloating back in the pantry for another 50 years.

06 dec 2016 13:12:08
you've got bhoywonder rockin' and rolling, reformedrossw! i think you've hit a nerve which without doubt shows guilt! he is a glory hunter! it is all about the rangers for they guys! don't care what they say, because nothing will change my mind! they are obsessed!
