Ally saying he'd walk away if the abuse started affecting his family, hope he walks but I don't wish abuse on his family

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Let's just hope his family tell him to walk. For his own health and reputation.

Well fellow Bears. I for one would have more of the rapidly diminishing respect I have for ally much as it breaks my heart to admit it he's not upto the mark of what it takes to be Rangers manager, personally I think he's pretending to be Walter smith which makes me cringe at times,. looking at him his health has went downhill too. Please please ally no one will think any less of you for stepping down this guys?.

Hi Beats

Just looking through news now Rangers n see that Ally has the full backing of all his old team mates in their newspaper column as well as the illustrious board, both not surprising.

The shocking thing is he says he has a job to do and is 100% focused. He also assures us fans that he will put in 100%.

Thanks Ally but your focus and effort is not on question, its your ability. Furthermore our delusional manager accepts that fans ate entitled to be upset and voice their opinions but still thinks he has the backing of the fans, he must be either mental or fly as a kailer.

Being honest I could have selected players to sign and trained m selected teams to win the two very poor part time leagues we have won and not took 16 grand a week to do so. I also wouldn't have needed my two mates on 4 grand a week either. Our senior coaching staff earn 24 grand a week!! What do we get in return two part time leagues, eliminated from every cup competition we have entered including the challenge cup. a cup designed for the smaller clubs to compete for three times!!

One question, value for money?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

RM Gers this is just like I predicted on this page on the 3rd the wagons gave all circled around him yet again in the auld pals act, no one has that balls to speak out against him Gorom, Brown ect ect every Timmy Craig feels sorry for him pathetic pathetic pathetic I say give him hell tomorrow for 90 min, if he thinks we back him show him we don't any more and take the other Stoogies with him!

Agree0 Disagree0

So the board back ally, aye right that's because they can't afford tae sack him.

Oh and all his mates in the papers coming out tae back him, he's the right man fur the job, bla bla bla.

He has got a brass neck if he thinks the fans back him, 3 seasons ago the average attendance was over 40,000, now its barely 20,000, the board won't act, the so called manager won't walk.

I don't have the answers, but one thing I do know, McCoist is Not the answer.

Agree0 Disagree0

When he has eventually been levered out the door I hope they have plenty to say, I also hope someone starts digging into McCoists role in all this and what he actually did for all that money, but let's concentrate on getting rid of him first, to see him dragged through the gutter like he did Rangers would be the icing on the cake.

1i reckon if the board sack the coaching staff, 1) some of the fans will respect them for their decision and 2) The attendances will rocket with immediate effect.
Cant see a better solution?
Bring in McCall and watch the young guys get a chance

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mccall? The Young players at motherwell Hated him constantly brushing them aside classing them as not good enough only played them when he had no one left and even them it was to o late to just through them in

Agree0 Disagree0

1) all opinions matter, but we don't all have to agree.
Who would you choose, given that we can't afford megabucks wages?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we can afford Mr Mcoist wages we can bring in a number of better managers who would work for a third at least.
In fact let's go all the way and do something that should been done at start of our new campaign,, let's try out a new young manager who has no past with Rangers and has no "old boys network" to give him advice.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does Stuart McCall and billy Davis names constantly come up when discussing a replacement in the event super salary gets the sack. ffs what have these guys done. once again the only replacement for me is alex Neil of hamilton. has done a fantastic job there. knows how to coach, not scared to play youth and his team play the best football I've seen for a long time. whether he would come or not is another thing but definitely a better option than the other two. what do you think?

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I think the reasons for McCall and Davies are obvious. They are NOT attached to any club and would therefore cost us nothing in compensation. There are many different ways to go, including a player/manager, or a rookie with no track record. My choice for now is McCall is purely based on his pedigree.
If we COULD afford him I would choose Ronald De Boer, but as he is currently with Ajax coaching their youths, I doubt we could even give it a second thought. We have to cut our cloth to suit, bear in mind that most clubs who have had financial troubles like ours have never quite recovered so we have a long way to go

Agree0 Disagree0

BIGcol: OK pal we get it, you want Alex Neil and he can bring his academy with him. Read it every day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol. If we did happen to get Alex Neil (which is a non starter) and he lost his first 5 games, would your self imposed ban be back on again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if you must know alex neil is not my first choice. it would be pep guardiola. not even he could do anything with that mob. so winde yer necks in. that's my opinion just like every other fan has an opinion.

Wot about Money for Nothing Dire Straits or Embarrassment by Madness. Also great quote Bongo fits the bill dead on.

Some songs from ally's favourite singer Springsteen. I was going to put BORN TO RUN but we all know ally doesn't do walking away so he's no chance of running, because he's still living in the GLORY DAYS. Let's hope he looks in the mirror tonight with his hairbrush and belts out i'm GOING DOWN. and resigns then all us bears will think SANTA CLAUSE HAS COME TO TOWN early.

I must admit I really do feel sorry for Ally that he didn't have the courage to walk away with dignity (like Stuart McCall did) now it has come to the stage we are trying to hound him out of Ibrox. As a player I had nothing but admiration bordering on idolization for the man but now I feel sick to the stomach when I see him standing in the technical area with his arms crossed looking lost and out of his depth, I don't want to feel like this and I take no pleasure in it but I can't help it, he is arrogant and self deluded if he thinks he can repair the damage that has been done its time he walked and took those who have helped him get to this all time low

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes Lochaberbear, apart from sympathy, I agree. The reason I have no sympathy for the man is the fact that he has created the monkey on his back.
I have not been to a game since watching him, arms folder, silent and showing no emotion in the defeats by Malmo and Maribor. The writing was on the wall then and I vowed not to return until he was gone.
What happened on Wednesday was just a culmination of his failure as our manager. He should look up the definitions of pride and dignity and then see if it is in him to find some.

i watched the under 20s 6-1 defeat by celtic highlights and the players I saw didn't look too concerned about the goals raining in on them a defeatist attitude? doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

That's what happens, it permeates through the whole set up. Who knows what is going on at Auchenhowie? This is what these young guys have to aspire to?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon of wanting to see Ally depart and I've commented pro and anti but he nailed his colours to the mast of failing to recruit from Murray Park. Our average age of 29 lost at Tynecastle to Hearts of 23.

Charlie Telfer named SPL's Young Player of the Month, Luca Gasparatto in the full Canadian squad, Barry McKay, a great talent out on loan.

We're too old, we're too slow, we blew the best chance we ever had to develop a team from the youth squad and McCoist is left with no choice but to play the same players who let him down and continue to blow hot and cold. I dread to think what the attendance at Ibrox will be tomorrow.

Agree0 Disagree0

The board are deluded as ally they do not seem to realise that getting rid of ally and co would be beneficial in all sorts of ways 1 the football can only get better 2 fans would come back despite this board 3 when the fans come back they would be able to recoup ally's and co pay off. But this board seem to think ally is better of where he is maybe they believe he still has the fans support or are they worried about what ally knows. Could be they are appointing a director of football to get rid of ally so as to distance them from carring out the deed.

thats true enough sandy a ,it must be a sickener to these young guys knowing how good they are ,they aren't going to get a chance I've seen this happen for umteen years young promising guys get a couple of games then disappear again example was willie henderson played for the first team and alex scott was 1st choice for scotland ,jock wallaces nephew andy kennedy ,all he could do was run like F ,finlay mc gilvray signed from third lanark don't think he ever got a first team game ( I have my thoughts on that one ) some strange decisions doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigd, your thoughts wouldn't be that he never gave any of our wingers a kick of the ball. I also think he might have played in a Glasgow cup-tie. Memories mate, but a much better time to be a bluenose.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigd, I got that wrong, the season he played for Rangers the cup was played for between Chelsea and a Glasgow select.

The man claiming to be Rangers 'manager' (trades description laws should cover false claims like this) -I for one think the supporters should now bombard him from every direction to quit as soon as possible he has already lost us 3 seasons of a chance to build a young exciting team and now were are going to have at best half a season to prepare for facing a league of teams way more organised and tactically aware than us I dread totally the thought of 4 games against celtic with him in charge, mind how we destroyed celtic in Souness era the gap is way bigger now and celtic are pish compared t under Strachan for example. I would happily contribute to a fund to pay the ransom him and his 3 muppets are demanding to eave. hate the board but at least if the side were playing great entertaining football we could concentrate on ONE POSITIVE thing. can any genuine fan name more than a couple games in the last 2. 5 years where we have played tactically aware, clever passing and entertaining football? I can only see games where we beat teams on a tiny budget and part time that were 2 leagues below our squads' standard. I honestly think the team could have gone out and done that with a hamster in the technical area and the fans selecting substitutions by throwing dice. he is in 50 years (this year my first game 1965 v Morton) the most clueless, personic and disgraceful holder of the Managers office FFS Paul Le Guen was a genius compared to him. sicked and fed up having my team drsgged through mud and thins pissing themselves at us. they LOVE mccoist now. george

Indeed they most certainly are wrecking themselves Ally is becoming a cult hero amongst the other mob we have ourselves our very own John Barnes.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 at least they only had him for 6 months at the very most! With all the goings on at your old and new club the rest of the world have had 3 and a half years of enjoyment and laughs at your expense!

I say long may it continue! Keep that rolling contract going! Everything about your new club is just comedy gold:-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely sick of Super Deferred Salary and his media pals that stick up for him like DJ, who claims Ally is doing everything right and will know when it is time to chuck it.

I listened to the start of SSB last night and thought DJ was a disgrace, even suggesting that Barry Smith was a liar.

How would he like it if somebody phoned in and accused him of lying about the job that McCoist is doing because it is genuinely hard to believe that anyone with a football brain doesn't realise he's utterly hopeless.
