Looking forward to the game tomorrow feeling pretty confident hopefully get off to a winner. I think the gers will have a good season. On another note I hear of a very good source that Pedro is a big fan of windass and thinks he is going to be a great player.

05 Aug 2017 22:47:38
I think there's definitely a player within windass, just needs a chance to find his proper position! It's often to the detriment of versatile players that they get used in roles that's not to their strengths! I think windass is a victim of this thinking!

06 Aug 2017 22:24:36
Motherwell 1 v Rangers 2. Have a big bet on it.

05 Aug 2017 16:57:06
I find it rather funny, not ha ha funny, that McKay scored for Forest, O'Halloran scored for Saints and Garner scored for Ipswich . What exactly were WE doing wrong?

Something stinks.

05 Aug 2017 17:14:48
I would have kept Garner he played up by himself should been played Ina 2.makay wanted away. moh is still ours get him back in January, the loan could be good thing for him and us.

05 Aug 2017 18:09:15
We didn't play to Garners strengths,
McKay wanted away and we should've played MOH as a striker. not a winger

05 Aug 2017 19:13:18
So what they scored for their teams . they weren't doing it for the gers . McKay threw his toys of the pram when the bread man left . MOH has never had 1 good game for us ever. Gardner I think could have got the goals for us if played in the right position . he could have stayed but because we had signed morals and Herrera he left . so best of luck to them . regardless how the players do, I believe we will have a better season this time round without them

05 Aug 2017 20:03:28
None of them were of the quality required. Neither are some of Pedro's boys, by the way, but rebuilding this team is a work in progress. I think we're better now than then.

05 Aug 2017 20:44:47
Boyd and whittaker scored to, should we get them back?

05 Aug 2017 21:01:47
Need to laugh at some of these posts about keeping garner, missing Mckay and ohalloren, you lot obviously grew up in a different generation from me because none of them and I mean none of the above would or should be near a rangers jersey. Garner = headless chicken
Mckay= (weak) no fight heart
Ohalloron= old fart

05 Aug 2017 22:16:32
There's a few points to why these guys were crap here but good elsewhere. Managers tactics for the spl were way off, that goes for pedro too. The dressing room split from the joey barton saga. Lack of confidence and the immense pressure of playing for a club like rangers and the passion and frustrated fans.

05 Aug 2017 22:50:17
Dazbear your spot on there

06 Aug 2017 00:24:11
Focus on us and only us! Dorrans to score tomorrow and gers to win 2-0

06 Aug 2017 02:46:27
JCGers hit it right bang on. if i could hit agree five times i would

06 Aug 2017 05:09:00
Don't care if moh scores 20 this season he is not rangers calibre full stop. another mishap from the breadman. Hopefully st Johnstone have the option to buy. I don't even think garner would of done it in a team more suited to him imho. The rangers badge carries weight and these kinda players don't have the slightest clue what it means to play for a club like us.

06 Aug 2017 07:37:47
Dazbear

What kind of comment is that to make about O'Halloran?

06 Aug 2017 10:10:58
Brian g a very leniant one imo

06 Aug 2017 10:52:18
Forget about the players that have left it's the players that pull on the jersey now that we need to give 100% backing to.

06 Aug 2017 20:08:37
Sorry Brian stupid predictive text what I meant about ohalloran is that he is all fart and no smell lol

06 Aug 2017 22:18:05
Get him back in January just because he scored one goal today 😂 None of them were good enough apart from mackay in spells but he wanted to go and he was to inconsistent and Forrest fans will find that out. Ohalleren and garner were not rangers quality so tbh so what if they score for Ipswich or st Johnstone they will prob do well at these smaller clubs but that don't mean to say every time they score we should say we should of kept them that's just ridiculous.

06 Aug 2017 22:22:08
Bit different scoring in games were both teams view each other as equals and attack each other and don't sit in with 10 behind the ball

06 Aug 2017 23:02:58
Gregg Wylde scored get him back

05 Aug 2017 16:38:44
I sincerely hope that we have a large sell on clause in the Barry McKay sale 25% +
I respect the fact he didn't apply himself for Pedro but the kid has the potential to be a football mega star.! 🙏🇬🇧⚽️

05 Aug 2017 20:09:03
You're saying that this 'kid' (nearly 23) could become a megastar? You mean like Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Ibrahimovic, Suarez? He can't even get a game for Scotland!

05 Aug 2017 22:56:55
Even if he becomes an average creative player in the English championship your talking 10 million! So I agree with tex! We should have been smart enough to think of the future

06 Aug 2017 00:28:13
A mega star? Omg I think I need to stop reading this nonsense! Lost for words

06 Aug 2017 01:53:04
Wee Eck,
McKay is a kid and probably has 4 or 5 years until he reaches his peak, he'll play for Scotland soon and move in the next few years for big money, mark my words.
If he applies himself.!

06 Aug 2017 09:41:29
That's a mighty big IF tex 321

06 Aug 2017 22:12:40
Well there you are. MOH scores the winner. as does Mackay. and Garner scores as well. Players we were desperate to punt

06 Aug 2017 23:00:59
Football 'megastar'? 😂 Somehow I don't see Messi, Suarez, McKay at Barcelona next year with his transfer eclipsing Neymars.

06 Aug 2017 23:01:35
Im sure that we would have a sell on clause due to the size of the Transfer Fee!
Can't remember but when VVD was sold was it reported that they had a sell on fee or was it only brought to light when he was touted to go to Liverpool etc?

05 Aug 2017 15:52:46
I notice Naismith is not even on the bench for Norwich today, injured, or what?
If not injured can only mean one thing . he is on the move.

05 Aug 2017 16:18:06
Or he's suspended which he is

05 Aug 2017 17:40:35
Played for under23s yesterday

05 Aug 2017 20:10:07
He's suspended, he's not coming to Rangers, end of.

05 Aug 2017 13:42:00
New season, new squad, new belief win at motherwell on Sunday take the 3points back to ibrox its al about the winning if we can do that over next few games and the team keep improving we are in business as big (marvin said keep believing ) 🇬🇧.

05 Aug 2017 20:13:18
Looking at the fixture list, we should be capable of winning the first six games or things could go pear-shaped pretty quickly. Anything less than 14 out of 18 points and we'll need to start worrying.

06 Aug 2017 22:26:54
If Rangers win 4 of the first 6 games I would be amazed.

05 Aug 2017 11:58:30
i see a lot of posts blaming Warburton for, players not good enough for Rangers, like Kiernan and Crooks etc.
Have we all forgotten he was told to shop in poundstretcher?
We will never know how good a manager he could have been had he been given the millions Pedro got to spend.
I personally didn't like the bread man, but in some ways he never really had a hope in hell with the tools he was given. Add in the long term injuries to some of the squad, and the picture begins to clear and make a bit of sense.

05 Aug 2017 12:11:07
If you're right there were good players in Scotland he could have bought in your 'poundstretcher' but he chose players he'd known since the age of 13 in Kiernan and Forrester. Sorry but no excuse for handing over the top contracts to players not up to the task of playing for Rangers. He's in no rush to take them to Forest.

05 Aug 2017 13:35:42
Despite his obvious faults Warbs was far from the dud he is usually portrayed as. This time last year he was Scotland's Manager of the Year, he gave us a very enjoyable win against Celtic, had us playing some football that was enjoyable to watch and when he left Ibrox we were in second place - albeit a country mile behind Celtic. He also had Brentford punching well above their weight.

Personally I wish the guy well.

05 Aug 2017 18:38:11
We never beat Celtic, we drew with them, I wish people would stop saying we beat them when we never

05 Aug 2017 21:25:58
So real never beat atletico, liverpool never beat milan and so on and so forth. A win on penalties is still a win.

05 Aug 2017 23:22:25
I'm not a warbs fan in the slightest! However the change he made to our team and style (in the championship albeit ) was both refreshin and welcomed (by almost all gers fans! ) We seem to forget we sang songs about how he had a magoc hat and was the man! Sadly it turns out he was tactically inept when we stepped up but I h8 the hypocrisy of the guys who praised him then decry him!

I will say though that the shambolic terms on which he conducted himself in departure is unforgivable

06 Aug 2017 22:10:16
Warburton was a truly awful manager. The team were a complete shambles and some of the signings were terrible. We constantly conceded under him and the football was for too predictable. As kfraser said he isn't exactly beating our door down for the rubbish he signed

06 Aug 2017 22:11:00
I just think that signing the Players he did from lower lges was obviously a gamble but these Players would have came to Ibrox on shorter Contracts and there was no need to offer them the length of Contracts he did.

06 Aug 2017 22:16:02
Beat them on penalties . A win is a win.

06 Aug 2017 22:19:30
Beat them on penalties there for we won the match there for we beat them.

05 Aug 2017 07:47:47
Well spark 74 my wee brother went to school with walker so that will make him 24 so when his contract runs out next year he will b 25

05 Aug 2017 09:48:56
He just turned 24 last month. When his contract expires on the 1st June 2018 he'll still be 24.

05 Aug 2017 15:28:35
Which is still above 23 so no compensation will be due 😂

05 Aug 2017 23:23:25
I think we need walker now tbh! A deal will be made before the end of the window imo

05 Aug 2017 05:25:41
Barry Mckay scoing on his debut

Could this be another Char Adam.

Who would like to see Warburton do well?

05 Aug 2017 06:15:53
Yeah opening day goal looked good after a few challenges he will disappear remember he wanted to leave us

05 Aug 2017 06:56:17
can see him grabbing 10+ down there if he's no under pressure.

do we have decent sell on fee?

05 Aug 2017 10:33:21
Think will find Pedro contributed to exit of Barrie McKay as much as the player did. Poor man management, judgement and self awareness by Pedro I'm afraid.

05 Aug 2017 10:42:17
I would say it started with poor performances rather than anything. He only had a few full 90min good games and was a passenger in the rest that he played. Warbs stuck with him and it wasnt till new managers came in that he was pushed out, and wasnt missed tbh. I do wish him all the best though, maybe with less pressure on him he will become a better player who knows. But you can't judge a player who didn't work out with us on how he plays at the next team he goes to. He didn't fit the roughness of the scottish game.

05 Aug 2017 11:37:36
warbs also benched him due not performing or do u forget that also

05 Aug 2017 11:50:27
Barry Makay had great skill and touch but played 1 good game in 4. He didn't score nearly enough, his final ball was average and when we were without the ball he was worse than a man doon.

that's nowhere near good enough for a winger in my Rangers team

he was also in the last year of his contract, refused a lucrative new deal and happy to sit tight and go for nothing

folk on here criticising pedro for how he handled makay need to have a word with themselves - pedro put rangers first and that's good enough for me

any player who doesn't want to play for us shut the door on your way out. I hope with recent loans / sales we can get walker in and if waggy leaves i reckon we need another striker - i'd go for big moult - proven SPL scorer

05 Aug 2017 13:33:33
McKay is a clown, he was the leak for the press, that's why pedro punted him

05 Aug 2017 13:42:15
One good game in four, trev? Six good games in two years, you mean.

05 Aug 2017 13:46:34
McKay wanted to leave us they gave him an option of another contract but turned it down. I sorrry to say but he thought he was better than he was as soon as the bread man got the forest job McKay was his priority signing

05 Aug 2017 23:26:02
Mckay is your typical winger! when on a good game they're unplayable but u need to accept that 5 or 6 games go by where they are absolute passengers! And I think in this period we don't have the luxury of passengers even for 1 game
