05 Apr 2020 21:22:30
I put a £5 on lovenkrands to score winner inplay.

06 Apr 2020 09:50:53
I bet barry ferguson to be man of the match mate. 😂👍.

06 Apr 2020 10:40:20
sutton worst player on the park.

06 Apr 2020 12:58:07
Laudrup1972 and s.g.l, i done both your bets, so got a cheeky wee double, always was a greedy wee guy, lol.

05 Apr 2020 19:21:10
would have liked a live chat just for some fun.

06 Apr 2020 00:20:24
My neighbour is a mad tim, they were all sitting out the back, I had the windaes open giving it full pelt celebration at lovenkrands winner lol he took it well tbf lol.

05 Apr 2020 16:52:15
Please bring back Coldo! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧✊.

05 Apr 2020 21:39:03
Recall time SGL surreptitiously posted on here in support of a earlier Supercoop post and was sprung like a mattress by Coldo. Those were the days.

05 Apr 2020 22:41:30
Hope coldo is ok, not seen him on for a while.

06 Apr 2020 00:21:54
Got banned for not too much at all. Him and an ed had a bit of a clash, didn't personally think there was anything too bad in it. Saw worse on here with others still on site tbf.

{Ed033's Note - Maybe coldo created a new username similar to Herewego55?

06 Apr 2020 13:30:33
Ed033, interesting you say that, trying to do a Supercoop perhaps. Stay safe everyone.

06 Apr 2020 14:08:41
Don't know what that insinuates ed? Was posting on here same time as coldo, you would know if I was coldo so don't even know why you would post that tbh.

{Ed033's Note - It insinuates an attempt at humour.

06 Apr 2020 17:55:25
My apologies mate, thought you thought I was coldo for some reason lol. He was quite abrasive I admit, had a few run ins myself, but his heart was in the right place. Was just a cranky guy, just though it was a disagreement that went a bit far, nothing more. A wee apology and let coldo back on, with s warning to behave.

{Ed033's Note - We're not preventing the coldo username from posting or replying.

05 Apr 2020 14:24:55
Guys, I think we need to calm down a bit, been reading a few messages and seeing folk getting berated for trivial things when there’s worse things going on. We all know what’s going on in the world, and how serious and tragic it is, and we all read the bbc and sky websites and watch the news and the updates and the adverts.

This is a rangers banter site and I think it’s great that we all take a break from the intensity of being at home 24/7 and speak about something different for maybe half an hour out of our day. We’re not understating the importance of what else is going on the world.

Also, And I’m not suggesting there are, but there MIGHT be people struggling being in on their own at this time and see this as a great release for them and to engage with other humans.
Please be kind guys and stay safe.

05 Apr 2020 16:06:10
Great post 👍.

05 Apr 2020 16:34:15
Well said alloaGer I couldn't have said it better than the way you did 👏👏.

05 Apr 2020 18:30:17
On a brighter note 2002 cup final on tonight , BBC Scotland 7:15.

05 Apr 2020 22:11:33
well said AlloaGer this is a Rangers site and it is healthy to talk about player valuations title ending discussions and all things football without being berated for the triviality of the post it can't all be pessimism and coronavirus all the time we need to think about getting back to sense of normality was going to post the same thing but you beat me to it. this will pass.

05 Apr 2020 22:32:29
Thanks guys. Stay safe and mind heed the advice of the Scottish medical expert, take your kids and partner away for the weekend for a wee change of scenery and walk about for some fresh air, eh sorry I mean stay in your house! What a lassie eh? P.s. your wife is one lucky lady! 🙈🤣.

05 Apr 2020 22:43:12
the world must go on we should be allowed to post on subjects all football without being reminded their is more serious things going on I have seen a couple of examples of this on this site.

05 Apr 2020 23:34:33
Alloager - that we one has just cost her her job. She been forced to stepped down mate.

06 Apr 2020 11:16:22
The stuck, it would have been a scandal if she had not resigned, mate, she should practice what she preached, she is no different to any of us, we would have got into trouble had we done the same.

06 Apr 2020 11:32:23
The Stuck, rightly so, she potentially put the lives of other human beings in danger.

05 Apr 2020 14:03:56
As we're all wondering who will eventually be replacing hummel as our new kit manufacturers, once we cortail this horrible virus and can get back to playing football, i want to put this out there for all fellow bears to give their opinions. Which rangers home kit in each individual's memory of watching rangers, do they rate the best home top? I'm and always have been a home top person, as this is who rangers are! My own personal favourite home top was our umbro 2012/ 2013 top. Very plain but very traditional, just the way our home top should be. I love all rangers kits, but this is my favourite one!

05 Apr 2020 16:05:48
The home top, McEwan's lager sponsor think from about 98/ 99 for me coop. Great strip with the white collar, couldn't get me out it growing up!

05 Apr 2020 18:22:24
I loved the adidas one with the 3 stripes round the sleeve. The one Gazza wore when he played the flute. Remember the red and white squared adidas top. That was nice.

05 Apr 2020 18:31:38
SGL - Adidas for me man, great design and quality.

05 Apr 2020 22:13:50
I've never met anyone, whose so fascinated with our kit! Anyway, my all time favourite was the early to mid-sixties one with the white V at the neck and Jim Baxter inside it.

05 Apr 2020 22:22:07
I might be alone here but I liked the plain blue with NTL sponsors, was a beautiful colour of blue that too.

05 Apr 2020 23:44:09
I'd go retro, plain blue white v
(Showing my age again)

05 Apr 2020 13:09:16
just read the daily rags story on all the chairmans take on how the league should pan out, the st mirren man tony fitzpatrick comes across to me as a closet tim, one minute he was saying hearts should be relegated not taking into mind his team are just behind in the relegation zone and could be caught by hearts, go forward a couple of weeks now its the mhanks who should be given the title, hearts should stay up and we have a 16 team league, no self interest there, what a rat.

05 Apr 2020 14:23:13
Truebluesotrue, i'm of the older generation, and the name, anthony fitzpatric tells me where his allegiances lie, just like the micheals, josephs, francis, patrick, seamus, and the rest do, i'm sure youse older bears have noticed this, from years and years ago. he is a tim, fact.

05 Apr 2020 17:54:32
Francis de boer.

05 Apr 2020 22:14:12
Fitzpatrick a 'closet tim'? There's absolutely nothing 'closet' about him mate. He's a raging Shettleston!

05 Apr 2020 22:39:09
Paulellen. Class😂 I remember the 1st question you asked chatting a bird up was what school did you go to.

06 Apr 2020 11:21:02
Fauldhouse bear, yea as you get out of bed in the morning, lol.

05 Apr 2020 12:57:39
Bbc scotland tonight
2002 cup final
My favourite ever game
Great memories.

05 Apr 2020 13:16:03
Cheers mate. that's a definite watch. One of our greatest victories over them!

05 Apr 2020 13:50:13
Yes what a game mate! I was there and in the rangers end when lovenkrands downward headered that ball into the net from a neil mccann cross, in the dying embers of the game. I honestly was sitting/ standing up the back of the west stand that day and when lovenkrands scored that winner i ended up down the front of the stand, such was the emotions of our supporters! Great days mate and barry ferguson was absolutely outstanding against them that day. He was easily the man of the match!
Controlled the midfield with absolute ease! Toffee for baz! 👍.

05 Apr 2020 14:29:22
S.g.l. Yip, i agree, but i can't really remember a game against them that baz was not up for, he gave more than his lot for us, especially against them.

05 Apr 2020 15:59:34
I remember saying to my mate after we went 2-1 down not to worry. The way we were playing I knew we’d get the equaliser. Little did I know what was going to happen in the last minute. The mass exodus from the East stand was glorious.

05 Apr 2020 22:15:51
How Hartson and Balde never saw red that day.

05 Apr 2020 22:29:52
Ha the best was that mutton was marking Peter and Pete left him baffled . loved that.

06 Apr 2020 00:25:14
Forgot how much of a dirty person hartson was. If that was nowadays would have been 2 straight reds.

05 Apr 2020 10:46:19
Here's my take on Scott Allan. He's a Rangers fan who wanted to play for Rangers and Hibs wouldn't allow it. Sold to Celtic on a big wage rise. He like the rest of us has bills to pay. Celtic gave him no chance. He's diabetic and inspires thousands and especially youngsters who are affected. I'm not saying he would break into our current team for a second but let's us all cut him a bit of slack and acknowledge he's one of us.

05 Apr 2020 11:18:27
Agree - he was used in the worst possible way - doesn't look as though those closest to him gave him the best of advice.

Just a thought - how many of us have lived to regret a decision we have made in life - and in our case we didn't have the whole of Scotland talking about about and vilifying him for doing it - both sides!

We all learn from our mistakes (well most of us) perhaps he has.

05 Apr 2020 11:20:36
I definitely agree with most of what you're saying kf, but he also had the option of running his contact down and then signing for us as far as I remember.
Personally, I think he's a cracking wee player and would add something to our midfield that's been sadly missing at times, a bit of guile and finesse.

05 Apr 2020 11:33:51
I don't buy the s*n or the dr - despicable rags!

It would seem that their sports 'reporters' in the loosest sense, are really ramping up their attack on RFC, no matter what the subject.

I won't give any of them a name, not worthy of one - who has been slagging off RFC for not telling him what they are doing financially; what they are doing with season tickets, and why they don't just give cfc the title.

It should be known that his own beloved tainted club have not informed him of anything either - their silence in public is deafening, but in the halls of the SPFL and SFA their words are produced megaphone style. I seem to remember that style being used during the tax case debacle leading up to them stating they do not like to get involved in other clubs business then sending their venomous letter.

If SPFL allow cfc to award themselves the title then RFC will lose another potential £20 million in EUFA monies next season, and who knows how it will affect them in Europe, money wise, for the rest of this season.

cfc covet the pound but in this case they will cut off their nose to spite their face - shame on them!

This will end up in the courts and could bankrupt. Are the SPFL under their spell that they will allow this to happen? RFC will have the weight and power of EUFA in their side - whose power reigns supreme - do the math!

05 Apr 2020 12:56:00
Not good enough to play for gers imo.

05 Apr 2020 13:54:09
Tilladie, i don't want scott allan at rangers now but believe me he's most definitely IMO, good enough to play for rangers. No time for him now, but he's a cracking midfielder and would add to our midfield with goals and without doubt has the eye/ ability to play the killer ball! Just my honest opinion!

05 Apr 2020 14:23:51
I’ve said this all along, football is a short career as it is, and could be shorter with injury. Our league isn’t like the English or Spanish where one contract has you a millionaire lifestyle for life. These players have families and bills and aspirations in retirement like the rest of us.

If a competitor of my employer paid me double my salary to go and do the same job, I’d jump in a heart beat. I don’t skate any guy that goes to a team for more money. Sometimes I wished they didn’t but to us it’s our hobby, to them it’s their livelihood.

05 Apr 2020 14:21:46
Hes played about 20 games in last 5 years and your comment regarding goals how many has he scored in his career 10 maybe?
Think we ll agree to disagree on this one nate.

05 Apr 2020 15:10:23
Nope, no time for him. He could have run down his contract and joined us for nowt. Even now when he plays against us he kicks everything that moves. Remember that disgraceful tackle on Rossiter? Wee rat who made his bed.

05 Apr 2020 15:25:39
Tilladie, scott allan has played s small amount of games in 5 years because of wasted time at celtic and surely you must know that? He's starting to score goals for hibs as he will do, getting playing every week. In a rangers team with better players around him, scott allan would hit double figures in goals which i'm sure you'll agree is a good amount for a midfielder! So we will agree to disagree here mate!

05 Apr 2020 19:33:46
Absolutely never.

05 Apr 2020 20:31:34
Scott allan is. class. we don't have any player in our squad capable of making the passes he can. My good friend was rangers all through school and celtic came in for him, he moved away to glasgow as soon as he left school. Sometimes career comes first. Rangers were never in for him. Even came with us to manchester08.

05 Apr 2020 22:18:38
Apart from the fact that he is certainly not good enough to play for us (he can't even get a sniff at a very poor Scotland team) he only had to wait a few months, walk away from Hivs, and make even more money for himself by way of a large signing on fee that would have been his instead of a transfer fee. So neither argument - that he had to take the money as it is a short career, or that he is in any way good enough to play for us - hold water with me. Let's put this one to bed now.

06 Apr 2020 07:52:19
The covenanter the scotland midfield is actually a pretty strong area. Ryan jack barely gets a sniff also. they do have some pretty decent players in that area. With gilmour soon to come in. Uv already got mcginn Fleck armstrong Jack Mcgregor mctominay ( who i don't rate) but plays for man u.

05 Apr 2020 09:33:46
Rangers and Celtic in a one off league decider at hampden on pay per view £10 per view all proceeds going to the nhs.

05 Apr 2020 09:55:46
And all players must be 2 metres apart at all times.

So the winners will be the team who gets the ball first.

April 1st is long gone mate.

05 Apr 2020 22:16:14
Bluebilly, the team that won the toss of the coin would win, surely, nobody within. 5 mtr, aye kick off team, would win, lol.

05 Apr 2020 07:31:36
Renewing season ticket asap. and have donated 2500 to nhs (all i could afford). Even a fiver would help so c'mon fellow bears. If you can spare a couple quid do it. heartbreaking having to tell someone they can't say good bye to their loved ones and the sooner this covid goes away the better.

Stay sane
Stay in
Stay safe.

05 Apr 2020 10:22:16
Well done mate. Unbelievable gesture. Unless you're a millionaire. 🤣😂🤣

Excellent brother 👏👏👏.

05 Apr 2020 14:22:25
Brilliant Iggle! Is there a link to a page where people can donate, might be worth putting it up on here?

05 Apr 2020 15:11:57
Brilliant gesture mate.

05 Apr 2020 17:57:05
I've gave them a million 👍.

05 Apr 2020 22:19:02
Igglepiggle, yip, a terrific gesture mate, well done. 😇, do you see the wee guy with the halo? , that's not meant for you, in a bad way mate, believe me, its just that I've learned how to use the emojos, lol, or whatever, they call that wee guy 🤓.

05 Apr 2020 07:22:04
Anyone hear the nhs rendition of blue sea of ibrox. Very inspiring. and can't help but sing along.

04 Apr 2020 23:21:30
Just watched highlights of 1978 game psv v The Rangers
Bobby Russell's goal made me jump out my self isolating dining table chair all over again (giving my age away)

05 Apr 2020 14:18:54
Junior football into our 1st team, you'll never see that again.

05 Apr 2020 22:21:39
12, maybe not for a while, but did vardy not do the same in england? mate.

04 Apr 2020 22:02:32
Regarding the potential sale of Morelos. I hope obviously we get top dollar for him, we will indeed make a nice profit. Fact is, on the previous 2 transfer windows, teams were hardly queuing up for him. He hasn't helped himself with his petulance and poor work rate of late. So question is lads - what would teams pay for him now?

05 Apr 2020 08:42:18
Good post The Stuck, I personally am disappointed in Alfie's attitude since the break, but, I can't fault his scoring record especially in Europe. which is more recognised than here in Scotland. On this basis, I would hope to get £10 -£15 Million, but also, it depends what is offered in what will be a depressed market after the Coronavirus Pandemic.

05 Apr 2020 09:27:47
Hey Stuck. i honestly think on form he would go for 25m but his performance of late and suspensions have dropped this to 15m.
Therefore I believe if we are offered less than 20 we should hold on to him for a year.
He will start scoring again. However you mentioned his effort is lacking and I actually think he tries too hard to get out of slump and needs to relax.

05 Apr 2020 09:38:44
I honestly think we'd now be lucky to get £12million for morelos, if i'm being totally honest and taking all things into account.

05 Apr 2020 09:54:58
So the country is in crisis. People are dying in agony. People are losing jobs, homes and sanity. Clubs are in dire straits and no one knows what the future holds for the Premiership. And you are spouting trivial posts on what a player would be worth. Jeez man get the priorities right!

05 Apr 2020 10:07:21
it does not matter what he goes for there's not two people on this site that can agree about what he is worth, there's more urgent matters to deal with now, all the rest is pipedreams.

05 Apr 2020 10:18:18
Is anybody else getting sick of these Holier than thou comments like that? I think we can all appreciate the severity of the situation right now and have sympathies with those affected but until my last breath, Rangers will always be a huge part of my life. When my old man died aged just 47, I was at the game the next day. Football is a release from certain pressures. Don't ever deny people that right and make them feel guilty about something they love. No matter the situation as the last years have more than proved. Its follow we will!

05 Apr 2020 10:57:42
Totally agree C of ibrox. We are all in this together and for you to put a post up like that when a point is made about Rangers on a Rangers forum is nothing short of disgraceful carbolic gerrard. We are all trying to keep as busy as we are allowed and keep our minds occupied with other things, or do we just throw the towel in and let this whole sorry mess destroy us all. Stay safe lads.

05 Apr 2020 12:28:51
CarbolicGerrrard - you sound as if you may have cabin fever my friend. Go out for a walk and get some fresh air. Remember your social distancing !

05 Apr 2020 14:24:29
Carbolic gerrard, i agree with c of ibrox, tho there's no football being played we are talking about our next transfer etc, if you want to talk about the troubles in the world just now,i'msure there will be a site, somewhere that does just that, with a name like carbolic gerrard i would always suspect you kick with the wrong foot, to be on here praising anything rangers related, my thoughts only.

05 Apr 2020 17:50:49
Totally agree C of Ibrox, we all need something to take our minds off this terrible situation.

05 Apr 2020 22:29:57
The stuck, i said when alfie signed he would get us 30 million when he leaves, and my opinion has not changed, looking about online today, i see athletico madrid, valencia, seville, inter milan, plus liecester, newcastle utd, cristal palace plus aston villa, are suppose to be watching the situation with alfie, so with so much inters i'm saying 30 millions a bargain for the buyer.
