Once again congrats to the boys in blue but its a pity we couldn't slam in 3 or 4 against basically lads being paid buttons on a part time basis. think the sons were playing in strips unwashed from the last game. roll on spl with 6 new signings.

05 Apr 2016 22:48:34
All these celtic fans thinking itll be a walk in the park next season, we are coming and will be much stronger than ever, by your result tonight, against a team we recently rattled 4 nil i think we'll show yous up, obv one game ain't much to go by but the buzz of it being a cup game and on the back of two trophies won i think we'll do them, roll on, the good times are returning, what a time to be a ranger!

05 Apr 2016 21:38:10
WE ARE BACK! πŸ˜ƒ.

05 Apr 2016 21:57:12
Championship Champions.

05 Apr 2016 22:00:35
Yous will be lucky to get a top 4 finish next season.

05 Apr 2016 22:03:23
I'd like to congratulate everyone associated with the Club tonight. Been a long journey but I'm glad we're back where we belong.
For everyone who thinks we won't have what it takes next year, I'd like to remind them that we are Rangers and first place is what we do. Roll on 55.

05 Apr 2016 22:03:26
Welcome back to the big bhoys league hh ;)

05 Apr 2016 22:34:24
Becoming champions obviously brings new bhoys to this website? Lol.

05 Apr 2016 22:37:18
Dan 30: So will you by the looks of things.

05 Apr 2016 22:38:42
Weldone rangers, time to take the rightful crown back.

05 Apr 2016 23:01:40
And to all the honest celtic boy's invluding half my mate's, let's go can't wait for next season.

05 Apr 2016 23:23:04
Already dhims quick to post comments on a rangers forum, I am sure celtic played tonight did they? or was they too busy watching the biggest club in the country.

05 Apr 2016 22:57:40
Ahahaha big boys league. Twice now youse couldn't even score never mind beat a team we hammered in the cup.

05 Apr 2016 23:00:11
Dn30 according to your own support so will you,
Dam it's nice being back πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„
Utd we'll see you in passing πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

05 Apr 2016 23:16:40
Well done to everybody connected to the club. Fans were unbelievable. So proud to be a bear tonight.

05 Apr 2016 21:17:52
rank rotten. new players required or we will be back here next year. apart from that congrats bears.

05 Apr 2016 21:48:07
CHAMPIONS!

05 Apr 2016 21:52:06
I really can't go such pessimists. Teams won't be parking the bus next year which will make things easier for us. The gaffer has already said he'll strengthen the squad next season so chill and enjoy the rest of the season.

05 Apr 2016 22:04:51
The worst post I've ever seen on here, unbelievable I cannot believe you have just come out with that as the club you say you love has just won a league. Don't you think for one minute that MW doesn't know what's needed for next season. Rangers don't need fans like you.

05 Apr 2016 22:43:32
Blueboy90 totally agree mate. It was always the result that counted tonight and for the obsessed mob commenting on our banter page have a look at your own team. A wee new club from a diddy league hammered Dundee a few weeks ago. But well done on your draw tonight πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

05 Apr 2016 23:14:22
Yes when you play at a higher level teams tend to make things easier for you. Wtf. Seriously.

Great that we are back in top flight- the journey isn't over yet and harder challenges lie ahead. Let's just hope that we get the right players in over the summer.

05 Apr 2016 23:25:49
We could have scored ten tonight if it had not been for their goalkeeper. Next season I can see us scoring plenty of goals in the SPL and Warburton has already indicated that he will strengthen our defence.

05 Apr 2016 23:28:01
sorry blueboy. no pessimist here. REALIST. but hats off to a difficult season .

05 Apr 2016 23:59:42
Championship champions is a fact, how can you disagree?

06 Apr 2016 00:14:40
Congratulations to warburton and the players, let's enjoy getting back to the big league where we belong, this is only stage one of our rebuilding job under the magic hat, stage two starts next season, I totally trust warbs to rebuild us totally and we'll win the premiership within 2 years, like you english bear I can't believe deecee's post when the team he supports has just completed the 4 year journey back to the big league.

05 Apr 2016 19:59:17
Can't get any of the mobile streams to work on VIP anyone know of another way I can watch it on my andriod phone?

05 Apr 2016 19:02:28
Didn't know this but how can they know that game will be easiest?

05 Apr 2016 22:20:05
They should be ashamed, the so called new club is the biggest supported team in the country.

05 Apr 2016 14:05:54
Is Neilson on the wind up regarding his comment about Rangers needing to spend 24mil to challenge Celtic? I'll use Leicester as an example, their Starting 11 that played against Southampton cost them a total of 25mil (I think) . Neilson is suggesting we need to buy the Leicester squad to Challenge Celtic.

05 Apr 2016 15:25:07
Nielsen just worried that we will overtake the jambos that's all to be challenging again at the top when them and Aberdeen have been poor for 3/ 4 seasons

We are back ladies and gentlemen time to take our place back where we belong 1st in Scotland's top tier winning trophies again and beating anyone that stands in our way we have a team full of players playing for that
Famous Rangers jersey.

05 Apr 2016 12:14:29
I noticed that on vip they have links for Patrick game, now they have just put a link for the Celtic game, as I couldn't get time off work for tonight's game I hope there is a late stream put up for our game! gutted to miss 2night, only the 2nd I've missed this season due to work (boss is a Tim by the way! ) gutted!

05 Apr 2016 12:23:36
He's a petrol tanker then!

05 Apr 2016 12:38:26
There is a link on cric just now.

05 Apr 2016 12:45:35
They have only not had a link for the Killie cup game when there were no cameras at the pitch.

The link stream is through Rangers t. v and as it's a home game I would assume it's going to be on later.

05 Apr 2016 13:01:55
Very true pie and bovril, was tempted to phone in sick to work but might have looked a bit suspicious after asking for night off! haha. hope it is on later rafbob, cheers.

05 Apr 2016 10:13:37
MW quoting Bournemouth incredibly have bigger wage budget than Bayern Munich. English Championship average wages are also v high compared to Scottish. If you research the international players wages averages you will find that the countries closer to our budgets include : Holland, Belgium, Argentina, Ukraine, Portugal etc. All are paid much less than English Championship. The point being - for cost effectiveness we have to utilise the international market starting with Holland and Belgium (tic have been doing this) . We already have quality contacts in Holland - Michael Mols etc. already offered to scout for us, so surely it's now time to implement? We can forget quality experienced English players.

05 Apr 2016 11:08:50
Celtic benefited from the Dutch market very well. That boerigter was awesome for them.

05 Apr 2016 11:45:31
I see what you are saying, but what we should really be investing in is our youth. If we have a good foundation then we can produce good quality players, Barrie Mckay for example has had a great season and I can only seeing him getting better. MW and Sir DW are the best guys to help do that.
Have to admit that stat about Bournemouth is a joke, there all just a bunch of mercenary's down there!

05 Apr 2016 12:17:40
Albertz van dijk wasn't too bad was he.

05 Apr 2016 17:26:46
Van Dijk bought for Β£2.8m. Sold for nearly Β£13m. Β£10m profit.
Good transfer business.

05 Apr 2016 17:33:22
Agree Ally, youth policy is paramount, but we need couple of classy experienced pros in defence and centre mid. Bosman ideally, but wages could be high.

05 Apr 2016 15:16:58
Excellent post and I agree 100% the other benefit being that most Euro and World based players have a far higher technical ability.

We need to balance that with the ability to fit in as some nationalities are just not suited to our game.

That said I feel MW is much more likely to look at loan signings for our 'star' players and lower league England plus Scottish players to keep the team a group of players that are similar minded he definitely favours British which I think works.

05 Apr 2016 17:46:04
With Youth being paramount I had a look at how the Development Team are getting on.33 points after 26 games. CfC on 71 points after 25 games none lost. A huge gulf. So something needs done asap if youth is the way ahead.

05 Apr 2016 02:07:53
Thinking on experienced defenders for next season, what's the thoughts on Gordon Greer? Hasn't played much this season but always looks solid for Scotland and could get a good season or two out of him.

Also like the look of Tommy Smith at Ipswich and out of contract in the summer.

05 Apr 2016 06:04:09
Hey RCEM - I can't see Greer being a good solution for us. He is already extremely slow, and with the way we play and lack of cover from the full backs, that would be punished day in, day out. Might be worth remembering that Crooks can play both CB and DM, and as Warbs has stated a DM is his top priority, that pretty much nails Crooks into the CB role.

04 Apr 2016 23:40:22
Looking for a CDM who's out of contract in the Summer and stumbled across Tom Huddlestone former Spurs player. He signed Β£60k per week deal in 2013 which is believed to have halved when Hull were relegated to the Championship. Yeah 30k is well out of our range but Β£15k for a marque signing who may well fancy a stint at Ibrox under Warburton if Hull fail to get promoted with McGregor and Aluko no doubt telling him how massive we are aswell.
I know its unlikely and Ambitious but a wee Scottish cup win and Europa league aswell as Old Firm games to look forward to, you never know.

05 Apr 2016 14:18:34
Would be very good signing, though as you said unlikely.

05 Apr 2016 13:00:11
Get greegs back to ibrox, I think he would be a massive signing, many will scream, but the facts are always difficult for some folk to accept, unless such decisions are placed on their shoulders,? There is no doubt Greegs loved Rangers, and is a fabulous keeper, I think his return would send shivers down the spine of many a dhim, he didn't ask for the rats to take over the ship, would YOU throw away your massive career to play in the worst league in the world, with his talent. ? The answer is simple, you would be not right in the head to, I wasn't happy when they left, particularly some, but greegs was Scotlands top keeper, and a young man πŸ‘¨
Tommy.
