Going into September and still not any merchandise available from Hummel to buy.
Hummel would well within their rites to walk away! šŸ˜”.

04 Sep 2018 21:51:12
Like us bears šŸ» hummel donā€™t do walking awayšŸ‡¬šŸ‡§.

04 Sep 2018 22:30:20
It's an absolute disgrace mate. The fact that Ashley intervened is costing the Club a huge amount of money. I remember a stat from a few years back that showed Rangers were second only to Man Utd in profits from kit sales. The sooner the fat twat has severed ties with us the better. Personally I can't wait till this farce is sorted and we can start buying the kit and boosting the clubs finances massively. I don't recall any other club being held to ransom and having to deal with this kind of situation but pardon me if I'm wrong.

05 Sep 2018 06:18:36
Does anyone actually know what the hold up is? Is Ashley stalling on submitting his bid or what?

05 Sep 2018 06:26:01
Struth, who knows as there is a lack of communication from the board! Maybe they are not allowed to show details again but I'm disappointed at lack of transparency.

05 Sep 2018 09:35:22
My information is that there was no date by which Ashley has to make his offer. It's back to court soon to force an offer.
One very badly written tender document by our legal experts.

05 Sep 2018 09:40:08
the fat twit has to match the deal or beat it, he does not know what hummels deal is so he is in the dark, probably buying people off to disclose the deal so he don't have to pay more, could you picture his face if he actually beat it, priceless.

05 Sep 2018 09:43:39
As a club we probably would have been better seeing out the Ashley contract which had 2 years to run. At least we were getting some cash and as now we are earning NOTHING! You can go into the Megastore and buy last yearā€™s kit for Ā£35? Who is going to pay that? šŸ˜šŸ˜”.

05 Sep 2018 10:01:32
Yately it was a seven year notice period, so no idea how it only had two tears to run, please enlighten me.

05 Sep 2018 10:11:47
I'm not sure at all what the deal is with Ashley so forgive me if i'm being stupid.

But is it not in his best interest also to get a deal struck with us and he also can make some good money from the kit sales? It is becoming a massive joke that no one in the stadium except the players have the new kit.

05 Sep 2018 12:15:11
Jboy, we were 5years into a 7 year contract?

05 Sep 2018 12:19:34
If Ashley had a 7 year rolling contract why did he only except Ā£2million?

05 Sep 2018 13:31:56
He has left house and Fraser high and dry and all there suppliers. 300 staff at warehouse lost jobs plus numerous shop closeures. Thatā€™s how much he cares about a company he bought for millions. He couldnā€™t care less about us so should not be allowed near our club to ruin it.

05 Sep 2018 17:05:16
It was a seven year rolling contract, unless minutes of agm incorrect.

05 Sep 2018 19:34:38
He only accepted 2 mill cause dave ibis s very clever man and this is in the game plan to oust him. court wonā€™t let us comment on case . Keep the faith.

05 Sep 2018 20:01:55
Very good jboy you have told me straight?

05 Sep 2018 20:47:18
Hope not in an offensive way yately.

04 Sep 2018 20:06:53
Great to have internet back after losing it for over a week. By the way my last post, on the Motherwell game was supposed to read "Gutted we lost 2 points* I was there did know it was a draw. Grats to Scottish ladies qualifying had to laugh as they celebrated shows how much playing for your country should mean.

04 Sep 2018 15:05:44
will ther b a chance for fans to buy a single ticket for any the europa games or do you need to buy the 3 games?

04 Sep 2018 15:55:56
Definitely at 107 pound for 3 games I'd say there will be thousands of them.

04 Sep 2018 18:44:17
Why are we all falling for the posts by this sweep1 when it is so obvious that he's one of the obsessed?

04 Sep 2018 19:41:09
People should just ignore. He can't get price right.

04 Sep 2018 20:18:42
Why because I speak my mind? Over 100 for 3 Europa league games is a joke.

04 Sep 2018 20:26:44
Maybe sweep1 has got a Seville calculator they always add on more than its real.

04 Sep 2018 22:01:25
Away game parkhead, Tyne castle Easter road dearer.

04 Sep 2018 22:02:14
When do they go on sale?

04 Sep 2018 22:23:46
To be honest sweep I would pay 100 per game and I am skint but Iā€™d sell the dug. have you seen the price of an Arsenal season ticket . normal . 2 andva half k . an your moanin ahout 100 guit . ah take the Weins to movies 100 quid wi popcorn for wan film.

05 Sep 2018 09:09:17
Man City 3 game package for champions league starts at Ā£52.50.

05 Sep 2018 09:36:34
Arthur d for a child,

05 Sep 2018 14:12:22
The prices are inflated it's not giving a chance to people who can't afford to buy 3 tickets I attend many rangers games for Ā£18 but Ā£35 is asking a lot they didn't consider the fans I get it's s European game but Ā£25 sounds reasonable.

05 Sep 2018 14:13:14
I'd be astonished if there wasnt an option to buy one ticket
Our board has taken a lot of flak then gained goodwill with the financial backing SG with player recruitment but this is a massive mistake how they have priced these tickets, it's a boot in the plums to each and every one of us that followed through the lost seasons in the lower leagues I get it that if you don't want pay don't go but what if we all had taken that attitude at alloa and Peterhead etc think we were due some degree of thanks not getting ripped off first time we get back in Europe.

05 Sep 2018 14:17:51
Just pipe down and pay the money - or do you want mystery benefactors to keep funding our team. The money to fund Gerrard must be coming from somewhere and with the kit sales on hold there are precious few revenue streams to optimise.
I for one am glad for the opportunity to buy tickets to see the Famous back in Europe where we belong and am a bit fed up of hearing people voice opinions on how others should spend their money to fund our club and generally expecting others to pick up the bill.

05 Sep 2018 19:37:24
Yea well said Riter as I say the movies cost more.

06 Sep 2018 18:00:31
The club needs all the help the can get financially they no our stadium will sell out that's why they have priced the tickets at this price.
Clubs who sell there tickets cheapear have problems filling there stadium for europa games.
For me anything that helps the club and provideds future funds for gerrard is a bonus for the future of our club.

04 Sep 2018 13:25:02
Seems shagger has got away with his kick on Ajer, pleased about this as we could do without him being suspended but how they came to the conclusion of no further action is beyond me.

04 Sep 2018 13:43:17
Gazzmclau. Yes he got away with one, but the rule says kick out must be deemed violent, crazy rule.
We need our players to think about their behaviour. We have top many daft bookings and sending offs.

04 Sep 2018 14:39:40
So did McGregor have eyes in the back of his head he didnā€™t know what part of Ajer he was kicking what if his studs had been in Ajers face in stead of his side would that be deemed excessive force?

04 Sep 2018 15:06:30
Bigp honestly don't know, our players must not kick out, I feel if he had been seen he would have got a red, then won appeal.

04 Sep 2018 15:08:53
it wasn't excessive force as it was no worse than Ajer did to him!

04 Sep 2018 17:03:09
FTW I agree with u. But if seen ref would have sent him off.

05 Sep 2018 10:09:22
I'm glad he's not banned but i will not accept or stick up for any of our players that carry on like this and that goes for Morelos as well. We could have easily lost shagger on Sunday and then it would have been a cricket score. We need to rise above this because now we find ourselves in a situation where their defence is actively trying to wind up Morelos, they'll be actively trying to entice a reaction from McGregor any time there's play in our box. I can trust the latter to at least learn from Sunday but Freddo i'm closing my eyes.

05 Sep 2018 14:11:28
I think previous no-action verdicts against Brown and Naismith may have fed into this one. Surprised me too. shows you just how bad the officiating in Scotland is to be honest, Foul on Jack leading up to the goal, Christie's Dive. and then elsewhere look at the Partick thistle game where no-one out of 4 officials could see a goal.
Its brutal on a weekly basis.

05 Sep 2018 14:14:59
The referee was looking straight at it, I also believe that your manager should not be making comments about rangers getting nothing from the refs, between that decision, and the Naismith one, itā€™s unbelievable that no further actions, absolute rediculous decisions.

05 Sep 2018 14:18:08
Aye this retaliation by our players has to stop, same as the feigned pain wi players rolling about in fake agony and replay shows little no contact. As for Alfredo a couple more of these sending offs and I believe he will be off at the Jan. transfer window cause Stevie will have been having words wi him privately i'd bet.

04 Sep 2018 12:27:19
The elephant in the room but does anyone know what Rossiter's injuries are about? I've heard ankle, hamstring, back and even growing pains when that one raises a few questions. It's over 2 years and never explained by the club.

04 Sep 2018 13:28:25
Gerrard, if i recall correctly, did mention some of his injuries are to do with his growth which is something SG suffered from when he was younger but i think his latest injury was unrelated. I agree with you i'd like a proper update on his recovery as last season we went months without hearing anything to the point i actually posted in here because i couldn't find anything on his progress.

04 Sep 2018 13:48:38
I think we should accept the fact that he ain't ever going to fit long enough to be any use to us, so time to get rid and cut our losses. No coincidence that Liverpool let him go so easily - maybe they knew he was a crock.

04 Sep 2018 13:59:46
Heā€™s made of glass. Itā€™s a shame because heā€™s looked a cracking talent when heā€™s played.

04 Sep 2018 14:22:18
It does beg the question that how did he pass the medical? If what is being said has any truth to it?

04 Sep 2018 18:29:13
He was playing and captaining Englandā€™s u21ā€™s at same time he signed so guess he was pretty fit then.

04 Sep 2018 18:47:25
Blue nose, Rossiter has never captained England's under 21s because he doesn't have one solitary under 21 cap.

04 Sep 2018 19:42:32
Guys was the under 19s, played six games when they got to final then we signed him.

Review Of The Day 4th September 2018

04 Sep 2018 07:29:11
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 4th September 2018

03 Sep 2018 21:26:03
Before i start here, i do know that defending is not james tavernier's strongest asset! Now having said that, most of the modern day wingbacks, are much better in the attacking sense, as opposed to the defensive side of their game! The best wingbacks in the game today are all much better going forward, than defending. Tav always seems to get the majority of the blame, from our own supporters, when its not only him who's at fault! I don't care what anyone says and i've said this on these pages before. I think james tavernier is the best right wingback in scotland, bar none! Both kris boyd and kris commons said the same, in the studio yesterday, at the old firm game. I totally agree.

04 Sep 2018 06:27:02
Supercooper James costs more goals than he makes or scores statistics prove this.

04 Sep 2018 06:41:01
Sorry pal, i don't agree! He is the whipping boy for a lot of our supporters at times! Every team that has a good attacking wingback,
accomodates for their defensive weaknesses, by playing the proper personel, to cover this, thus allowing us to get the best out of tav! Candeias is that player who works so well with tav and IMO, should have started against them, on sunday there! Tav has super attributes going forward, imo we have to accommodate that! Simple as that for me!

04 Sep 2018 07:15:27
Have to disagree my friend. Our best back 4 imo is Flanagan Barisic Goldson and Katic. I like my defence to defend first and Tavernier makes to many school boy errors, I would definitely play him further forward as heā€™s a good footballer and athlete just not a very good defender.

04 Sep 2018 08:41:27
Supercooper

2 of the goals that Motherwell scored against us came from set pieces can you tell us who was marking both the Motherwell goalscorers?

04 Sep 2018 08:46:29
Supercoop, I like your posts but must disagree this time. Tav was AWOL on Sunday for their goal which was scored from the space where the right back should have been. You can see him running back yards away just before the goal. I'd play him in right midfield though.

04 Sep 2018 08:51:29
Agree with coops. Tav is a regular whipping boy for those focussed on negative outcomes rather than positives.
If he was not there putting pressure on the full backs our Defense would have a lot more defending to do in every game.
Assume that SG feels the same.

My take on the last few games is that we are tired - Goldson has not looked quite so assured since his head knock (in Europe I think) and not as sharp.

Celtic were a notch or two better on Sunday but we will improve.

04 Sep 2018 09:01:37
If Tav is a right back his first job is to defend. If he wants to go forward and cross balls in then midfield is his preferred position. I think Gerrard sees that and is lining up a 352 formation in the future pushing tav further forward.

04 Sep 2018 09:26:34
Tierney destroyed him, end of.

04 Sep 2018 11:28:42
Bgate wer can I find these stats?

04 Sep 2018 11:45:43
Its patently obvious at the moment we have no ball carriers like McGregor or rogic. So I am hoping come Jan. we will have decent funds to bring in Steven Davis or James Mc Arthur or both, we are badly needing creative midfielders.

04 Sep 2018 11:58:04
Blue Bear. To be fair, Murphy, Couilbaly, Dorrans and Rossiter are all out injured. That's a whole midfield and we have McCrorie to play now and again as well.

04 Sep 2018 17:08:32
Supercooper tav is not a whipping boy for the fans. Fact is most of us can see he is a very poor defender.
To say move him here there and everywhere is not the answer.
He cost us at Pittodrie and Fir Park.
Cost us numerous times last year including 3 in Hibs game. Cost us a cup final.
If we want to stop ten in a row Gerrard needs to rectify the issue that previous managers shied away from.
And the answer is not move him to another position just to accommodate him, Rangers are bigger than that.

04 Sep 2018 17:34:20
Spot on jboy. Tav is a bomb scare! Terrible defensively and occasionally puts a decent ball in the box . Did anyone else notice how it was goldson that telling the defence to push up and doing most of the talking and shouting? Where was tav at this point? He runs about like a headless chicken and puts his team mates under pressure. It's early doors right now and already he's cost us . Can't understand for the life of me why he is captain . He should have been punted long ago. He pulls the faces and does some good sound bites but that's it. He's not good enough now, then or ever . Mediocre at the very best .

04 Sep 2018 18:08:49
Guys has it not crossed your mind, to ask yourself then, how every rangers manager rates tav very highly? There's your answer or are ALL these manager's wrong?

04 Sep 2018 19:29:09
What like the great Warburton, caxhina and murty?

04 Sep 2018 19:43:46
Yes why three are gone to date.

04 Sep 2018 22:31:01
I agree with the asesment that we were tired at week end . would have struggled to play anyone and no wonder after what the boys put in with the Europa game.
It was worth it tho but they are only human . people saying they werenā€™t trying ect against the manks. they were dead on their feet . and I suspect Stevie kn that . it was defend and do your best and donā€™t kill yourself. their time will come and it will be oh so sweet.

04 Sep 2018 22:40:13
Supercooper

Donā€™t really think you can make a case by saying all the Rangers managers rated him so there is your answer. 3 of them failed spectacularly so doesnā€™t say much for them.

05 Sep 2018 00:00:11
So what about steven gerrard guys?
Kris boyd and kris commons said in the studio on sunday, that tav was the best right wingback in scotland and was the best crosser of a football!

05 Sep 2018 14:09:17
2 goals against Motherwell were through his inability to defend. The UFA Goal came when he was looking the other way when the defense moved up to play offside. he gave up at the Celtic goal about 35/ 40 yards out, his deliveries were poor and he missed a chance to make it 1 each, a chance that if it were Morelos he would have been slaughtered.
why was Flanagan dropped? and why we don't play a 4-4-2, with Tav in front of Flanagan baffles me.
I like Tav as an attacking player, but he is easily liable for 10-15 goals against us last season and 3 or 4 already this season. Get him away from the defense and get him on a post at corners.
