Just watching the Derby v QPR game, is there an uglier strike force in the UK than Rooney and Waghorn? 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

04 Nov 2020 21:25:48
Any forward line that contains Leigh Griffiths!

04 Nov 2020 21:33:48
The thumb and the thumbs forehead.

04 Nov 2020 21:37:35
Shagnasty and mutley.

04 Nov 2020 21:48:22
There's an old saying SirWalterSmith
See yourself as others see you 🤔
Beauty is skin deep someone calling someone else ugly are ugly inside.
Not very nice at all pal!

04 Nov 2020 21:57:21
Think he was maybe just having a wee laugh and bit of banter SGL 😂.

04 Nov 2020 22:55:47
FFS didn't know Coop had turned into a hippy! ☮️✌️😂.

04 Nov 2020 23:08:24
Thanks for your feedback SGL, have a word wi yourself, you've clearly forgotten it's a banter site son.

04 Nov 2020 23:16:34
Davie dodds and Willie pettigrew.

Yep it's all banter sg.

04 Nov 2020 23:39:28
Hohoho, surely ol midfielder Dynamo is pulling your plonker, if not I’m just flabbergasted, being very attractive myself I’m not too bothered as it obviously does Affect me, and I’m quite content in the showers too, but I understand coops some people just don’t have my natural good looks and obvious charm but Rooneys done well enough for a beauty challenged individual and waggys played for Rangers so they can’t be beautiful and successful

It’s not easy as you think you know.

04 Nov 2020 23:50:13
how about Jamie vardy and Steptoe up front.

05 Nov 2020 06:10:48
Beauty is skin deep 😂😂😂😂 ugly inside. what's going on here. Haha.

05 Nov 2020 06:49:42
Yes its a banter site SirWalterSmith you should remember that when you put in your wee snidey digs regarding my posts🤔 People in glass houses pal!

05 Nov 2020 07:19:42
Doesn't seem to have done Waggy any harm. Have you seen his missus?

05 Nov 2020 08:04:03
Coop, beauty is skin deep but ugly goes right to the f***** bone!

05 Nov 2020 08:06:27
Davie Dodds and Stephane Mahe.

05 Nov 2020 09:04:45
You think he met her at the chippy Seeker?

05 Nov 2020 09:11:53
Seeker or peter crouch.

05 Nov 2020 09:12:33
Someone once asked crouch what he would be if he's was not a footballer. His reply. a virgin 😂😂😂.

05 Nov 2020 09:47:57
Griffiths and popcorn teeth in a game of 7s.

05 Nov 2020 09:48:17
Arthur Scargill and Anne Widdecombe.

05 Nov 2020 09:57:44
With all that money they make, I don't think they care one bit that they have a boat race like a bucket of sh@*e!
I keep telling my wife that If I had their money I would have been one helluva stud - She likes a good laugh so she does.

05 Nov 2020 09:59:43
That's exactly the story I was thinking about paul when I was reading this thread🤣🤣👍.

05 Nov 2020 10:29:18
Shane MacGowan and leigh Griffiths.

05 Nov 2020 17:10:19
Paul86. 😂.

06 Nov 2020 10:51:52
SGL quite often we don’t agree but I’m with u on this.
People hide offensive language behind it’s only banter.
That should learn to think twice b4 they speak once.

04 Nov 2020 19:58:33
Sorry tom great minds mate.

05 Nov 2020 10:15:35
Somebody once said to Churchill'your drunk again'to wich he replied'your ugly, and when I wake up I'll be sober'.

05 Nov 2020 10:24:11
Brexit Jam, it was Bessie Braddock and Churchill.

Churchill - "Madam, you are ugly"
Braddock - "Sir, you are drunk"
Churchill - "Madam, I'll be sober in the morning"

Brilliant!

05 Nov 2020 10:38:46
Cheers Doiger,
I remember hearing it a few years ago I think it was a question on the chase, had a Chuckle when I heard it ☺.
But beautifully put mate.

05 Nov 2020 13:44:39
My mate once went out with a bird with a face on her boil, lovely nature though.

05 Nov 2020 17:12:43
Some old bird said to Churchill "if you were my husband I'd poison your tea. " To which Churchill replied, "Madam, if you were my wife I'd drink it. "

04 Nov 2020 19:43:55
Seen that about gerd muller god how many would he score in the spl, suppose morelos is the same shape but that's as close as it gets.

04 Nov 2020 19:55:16
Border, as my post re, alfie, was almost 2 full seconds before yours i feel you have copied me,

05 Nov 2020 00:51:08
Tom good to see you back mate and that your safe - hadn’t seen a post from you in long time
Glad to see you back mate 😊👍.

06 Nov 2020 10:52:49
There is absolutely no way Alf is any way close to the player muller was.
I remember watching him loads in 70s, I supported Bayern as my foreign team they were simply amazing as were West Germany. I remember watching them live at ibrox in the semi final, muller never got a look in from DJ and big Jackson.

Two years later 7 off that team were in the 74 World Cup squad that won the World Cup muller mom in the final.
Alf has a wee bit to go to be compared with gerd or for that matter ally.

04 Nov 2020 19:25:16
I was reading the benfica manager was stating, he thinks alfredo morelos is like the magnificent, legendary german striker gerd muller 🤔What a compliment that is! I can see a slightly similar style between the two,
but truth be told, morelos is nowhere near the level of the great gerd muller and never will be! In saying that i still rate morelos highly though 👌.

04 Nov 2020 19:43:31
He maybe meant Alf is the same shape as he muller, , and he is having a little laugh.

04 Nov 2020 19:45:59
I think he's playing mind games coop🤦‍♂️👍.

04 Nov 2020 19:46:21
Coops, flattery and mind games from an experienced coach I would say. Remember seeing Muller play at Ibrox a couple of times in early 70’s, was a great player. Big platform for Morelos tomorrow night, let’s hope he shines.

04 Nov 2020 19:56:09
Seen that coops, he thinks we’re the best opposition he’s face all season, that’s a compliment, but as the guys say may be mind games. At least we’re being spoke f in these terms and even if it is mind games that’s a compliment in itself.

04 Nov 2020 19:59:45
Morelos can be a great legend at Ibrox. I really wish he would change his attitude, for example Defoes. I'm not sure if Gerrard has gave him a slightly different playing role but I'd prefer him to be upfront and banging in the goals. there's nothing like the russle of the net for a striker when the ball goes in!

04 Nov 2020 20:43:07
Der Bomber was some player. Remember watching him and Beckenbauer standing together before a European match in the 70's. The bears were roaring at them, trying to unsettle them. They just stood there with their mouths open. Remember thinking Muller"s legs were like huge tree trunks. Great player, strong as an ox.

04 Nov 2020 20:58:14
A think he meant to say Tom Miller!

04 Nov 2020 21:44:33
I remember seeing so many wonderful German and guys who played with German clubs at ibrox over the years, from the late 60 onwards, and the magnificent Paul Breitner.
But I have to say the greatest player I ever saw at ibrox wasn't German he was the wonderful Mario Kempes, playing for Valencia, i remember the pouring rain and being in the old enclosure when he headed a ball from the 18 yard box, it was magical ibrox had gone quiet and I was staring into the lights above the old centenary stand, as he hit the ball with his forehead you could almost hear the impact all around the stadium and his rain soaked locks flew around his face as the ball went faster than other players could kick it, i will never forget seeing that, a real superstar,

04 Nov 2020 22:11:05
Eh? Muller never played outside the six yard box in his life! As strikers, they are so different Stevie Wonder could see it.

{Ed033's Note - Stevie Wonder pretends to be blind, he's not really blind. It's an act.

04 Nov 2020 22:45:41
😂😂😂.

04 Nov 2020 22:46:24
I hope no blind people read that statement Ed there will be an uproar lol.

{Ed033's Note - Yes, funny, but real blind people can have a computer speak text to them, so we'll have to wait and see if any of them disagree with me.

04 Nov 2020 23:16:30
Terrible Ed. Have you seen Stevie Wonders new piano?

{Ed033's Note - Go on then, let's hear the punchline.

04 Nov 2020 23:59:39
And Alfie is the exact opposite anyway, , he’s scarcely ever in the fxxxxn box,

Stuck don’t bother with the punchline mate, it’s awful.

05 Nov 2020 00:08:15
Neither has he? 😂.

05 Nov 2020 00:38:31
Stuck, much S i admire your loyalty alfie doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of becoming " a great legend " 2 main rea, he's nowhere near good enough
And he won't be here long enough , in fact he can't get out of didgeridoo quickly enough mate, like tomorrow if possible, don't be fooled by the occasional big smile with his teammates, everyone who ever played football or any other sport inevitably derive some pleasure from scoring a goal. The boys offski at first opportunity mate, that's a fact that is known throughout the club, and will happen soon as they get offered what they deemed reasonable, and it would have happened a few weeks ago but nobody wanted to put in a bid, Rangers will be very agreeable to the right price because they, like everyone knows he wants Away from scottish football and the weather and I certainly don't blame him, he's Colombian so he has only a fleeting liking for Rangers or Scotland, nope absolutely zero chance of becoming a great legend as you suggest, let's just hope he leaves us with a title winning medal in his luggage.

05 Nov 2020 08:09:39
I saw Kempes as well Tom. What a player. Also later on there was the likes of Darko Pancev for Steau and the wee Italian who played at Juve for abput 30 years! cannot remember his name!

05 Nov 2020 10:43:17
Yip Tom, help win us the treble. Last16 of Europa. And he can leave with our best wishes and thanks. Not quite a legend but a very good striker who achieved big moments for our club. In saying that mate if we won the treble this season after all the turbulence of last 10 years. Most of that squad would go down as legendary status mate. We don’t know what the season ahead has in store yet 🇬🇧.

04 Nov 2020 18:53:06
Evening guys, think the toney or morelos thing is my fault, noticed toney is knocking in the goals just now and wondered if he would have been a better longterm buy than roofe, not because I'm anti roofe as was suggested, rate roofe as a player but worry about his ability to play 40 games a season seems to miss a lot of football, but big hateley arrived with a bad injury record and done no bad so hopefully roofe will be the same,

04 Nov 2020 20:04:00
I think he would have been a better buy than Roofe mate, so far I’ve been unimpressed with Roofe overall. He looks a decent player good close control and can go past a player but as a striker I’m not so sure. Perhaps better in one of the 3 in behind? I’d have liked Toney but not at that price.

04 Nov 2020 20:19:04
Ingerrardwetrust

Got to agree about Roofe I think he has been very unimpressive so far. Shown some flashes and obviously scored a wonder goal but other than that he has looked very sluggish.

04 Nov 2020 20:58:21
He looks like ha has the ability biff, but maybe better in a 2 up top or as one in behind? Doesn’t look like a striker for me. Then there’s the injuries. Time will tell.

04 Nov 2020 17:59:54
Team for Benfica tomorrow night

McGregor

Tav
Goldson
Helander
Barasic

Arfield
Jack
Kamara
Davis
Kent

Morelos.

04 Nov 2020 18:12:42
That will do for me Bankie.

04 Nov 2020 18:13:29
no brainer.

04 Nov 2020 18:19:54
Yip Bankie, that would be my team.

04 Nov 2020 18:53:55
Arguably we’re strongest 11 players there Bankie, I think he’ll play hagi instead of jack and bring jack on for fresh legs if we’re nicking a point or 3 with 20 to go.

04 Nov 2020 19:03:50
Wouldn’t have Davis kamara and jack playing to be honest would rather have aribo in than all 3 of them.

04 Nov 2020 20:08:13
Barker could be a good option.

04 Nov 2020 20:17:48
BWD you don’t rate fredo but your rate barker Barker should never be an option for us as he is not good enough and never will be.

04 Nov 2020 20:44:16
BWD, agree on Barker, his pace on the counter and ability to beat his man in 1 on 1’s could be used from start or later in the game.

04 Nov 2020 20:52:54
I would definitely have Jack playing kj, always a great attitude and you get him almost always the same.

04 Nov 2020 20:54:13
Yes, has been used before in these types of games.

04 Nov 2020 21:00:05
Yous could be right with barker, he wouldn’t get near my team but Gerrard always surprises us with his team and barker has played a lot in Europe.

04 Nov 2020 21:14:08
Hagi will play. you got us 442 in that lineup.

04 Nov 2020 21:27:35
I reckon BWD is right and Barker will play. Even a broken clock is right twice a day!

04 Nov 2020 22:12:31
Aribo will play, he's the best player we have.

04 Nov 2020 22:33:41
Haha nice.

05 Nov 2020 00:04:47
Hohoho snellster, sly old fox you.

04 Nov 2020 11:23:33
Wee reply to ToMthumb and kja9 As it's a bit down the page and wanted to explain my thinking. I was referring to Morelos v Toney. My point being, Morelos is Glasgow Rangers main striker, Been performing well at home and in Europe for 3 seasons now, scoring winning goals and braces of top glass Finishing. Was joint top scorer in group stages last year. Our top scorer a few years running, if I'm correct? Always performs in Europe and so has proven himself at the top level. He's a regular international capped player in a strong Columbia side scoring a few goals and assisting the winner last international break. We knocked back £16.5 bid for him and value him at €20 (£18m) . Toney has just had a very good 2 seasons at Peterborough Scoring 49 goals In 94 games, Previously being a failure at Newcastle, very good, but at league 1 level in England. Previously failing at Newcastle with 4 apps and 0 goals. So before moving to Brentford, he played whole career at league 1 and 2 level and scored 92 goals in 268 games. Not brilliant imo. Putting those numbers against those of Morelos, who is the more valuable player? Toney cost £5m plus £10m in add ons. Morelos will leave for a little more than that if we're lucky enough to get what we ask for. So my point was, Toney is not worth that money at the point in his career that we were linked with him. Also we can't spend that amount when that's what we bring in for our main striker, maybe get half or around that amount. You're totally right kja9 Peterborough can charge what they want mate but doesn't mean he's worth it or that we should, could, would pay that. My point then, he's a decent player, great potential butto be valued in the same bracket as Morelos, no chance. 👍🏻.

04 Nov 2020 11:57:19
ingerr, there's a very simple and straightforward answer to all of that mate, actually there's 2 things, which are both fundamental
1, never try to measure the scottish transfer market with England,
2, there will be many more real football professionals who will want Toney than want alfie, and that's usually for one simple reason, he's a better player, remember, there are fabulous players all over England who have never even played in Europe, but they're still better players than alfie, so statistics don't mean a hill o beans mate, there's a saying about statistics and lies, and its very real in football.

04 Nov 2020 12:12:53
Correct Tom.

04 Nov 2020 12:16:41
Totally disagree Tom, a Columbia international With A record equalling goal tally in Europe for his club and a better goal per game ratio in his career vs a guy who failed at epl level and has played out his career in leagues 1 and 2 in England, With a goal every 3 games roughly, I’ve not worked it out, 1st striker Is always going to be more sought after and by bigger clubs aswelL than 2nd. The problem here is English player are over rated and over valued in there own country. Hence nobody abroad comes in to buy English players. there is no danger Ivan Toney is, in a fair and normal market, the same value as Alfredo Morelos. The numbers speak for themselves. Morelos will move on, and he will go to a bigger club than Brentford, and he probably will have a more successful career than Toney as he is a better player. And they’re careers so far backs that up. Stats are facts. They don’t lie mate.

04 Nov 2020 12:58:50
I tend to agree with ingerrardwetrust, that although ivan toney is a good striker, for me alfredo morelos is better and will go on to play with a bigger club at a higher level than ivan toney. Its all about opinions.

04 Nov 2020 14:46:36
SGL, Morelos has the potential, his European record speaks for itself but a huge difference is attitude. Why didn't Lille step up and pay that extra million for him? Why did we reject £16 million.

04 Nov 2020 15:08:54
Because Lille valued him at £16 million.
Because Rangers valued him at £20 million.

04 Nov 2020 15:11:14
stuck, I think we should’ve accepted the £16.5m mate, think at time it was around €18m. Likelihood is rangers thought it was an opening bid and there would be a bit of negotiating, or maybe it was the structure of the payments? I don’t know. Looking back it was a good offer but would we have been able to replace him? And I do agree his attitude is a big negative when clubs are going to be weighing up the pros and cons of signing him. What do u think mate? Would u have took it at the time?

04 Nov 2020 15:55:43
That's what I find strange stuck. We value him around the 18mil - 20mil mark but we rejected 16.5mil. 3.5 mil of a difference for full value but surely we would have started to negotiate with lille when they opened at 16.5mil? Surely 1.5mil in realistic add ons was a reasonable outcome for both parties which you would have thought would have made a deal. Of course we don't know all the ins and outs of any offer but 16.5mil wouldn't have been that far off an amicable solution. Maybe it wasn't anywhere near the reported 16.5mil👍.

04 Nov 2020 16:13:36
Yip coldo, maybe it was a lower bid possibly rising to £16.5 for morelos from lille. I still think alfie will end up signing for an english or spanish club.

04 Nov 2020 18:27:39
Will all depend if he proves to be a liability again.

04 Nov 2020 18:37:32
correct in gerrard we trust, the rest is wishful thinking.

04 Nov 2020 19:07:44
I never said he is worth anything to be honest I was just making the point that they can ask for whatever they like and if someone pays it then that must mean that’s what he is worth.

I would take fredo over Toney at the moment but if he has a good season in championship it may change my mind.

Tho Brentford done me for £150 yesterday so I haven’t got nice things to say about that mob at the moment 😂.

04 Nov 2020 19:10:12
Ingerrard, maybe we should of taken £16.5 million, that's an incredible offer and profit for Rangers. So if we had sold him at that price then how much of that would Gerrard of got for a replacement and who would you of went for mate?

04 Nov 2020 20:38:10
That’s a great question stuck, 👏, very hard to answer, I think that would be down to the scouting team. I like the German league atm in terms of top young players, quality footballers when u watch it. And great value for money. England is vastly overpriced so It would take us to Europe or further afield unless was a loan. I was shouting all summer for us to try get Brewster on loan for a fee of a couple million if we lost Alfie so that would have been my first choice at the time. We’d prob have got around £7 m to spend on a replacement, unless Roofe and Itten were his replacements in which case I’m not impressed. Genuinely mate I’ve sat and had a long think there and I can’t think of someone that we can afford who would replace Alfie. It’s a very difficult market. Bringing someone of quality to Scotland within a wage structure of that quality, I would leave that to the experts mate. Final answer 😂 we could’ve tried pull the old pals act and went for Suarez lol think atletico got him for £2m but that’s a bit lie in the sky 😂 I pass.

04 Nov 2020 20:54:39
all opinions gerr, and I fully respect yours of course.

04 Nov 2020 21:28:00
Definitely mate, would be a very boring life if we all agreed mate 👍🏻.

04 Nov 2020 09:33:16
It’s my late young brothers birthday today a Rangers man to his toes, and a possil lol boy, he was 46, the bengal lancer got him,

Follow on bro, and fly high with a blue scarf.

04 Nov 2020 09:48:31
Absent friends 🍻.

04 Nov 2020 09:55:03
We might have had a disagreement on the rumours page tom, but I feel your pain mate and things like this put the material things into perspective. Lost my younger brother over 10 years back through drink, and like your brother, a true Rangers man.
Absent friends!

04 Nov 2020 10:32:32
GBNF 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

04 Nov 2020 10:32:41
To absent friends 🥃.

04 Nov 2020 10:33:10
Tom and BMG 🍻👍.

04 Nov 2020 10:36:58
We must be aligned somewhere then mate, my bro worked and drank since the day he left school, it ran in the family, and the person disease got him early, nowadays I have my wife, business and family but one day we will be watching the Teddy bears together again, enough of the sorrow and onwards and upwards, i'm going to bed with a hot drink and a morphine chaser, i shall return later with a large alcohol free beer and a new poem for the europa league, , and a few winners for brexit.

04 Nov 2020 10:47:05
Feel your loss Tomthumb12 and god bless your young brother 🙏 Absent friends god bless them all and they'll all be celebrating up there at the pearly gates, when we win 55 this season 👍.

04 Nov 2020 10:50:13
Absent friends 🍺🇬🇧🍺🇬🇧.

04 Nov 2020 10:56:41
Here here Tom! The thought of being with him again one day makes it just that wee bit more bearable mate. Like yourself, I have my wife, my kids, my job, and my football team to help me through the madness.
Take care mate.

04 Nov 2020 10:57:16
Tom he stiĺ watches an suports us for sure mate❤👍👍.

04 Nov 2020 11:01:51
We truly are blessed to be born a bluenose 💙.

04 Nov 2020 11:38:14
Thoughts with you and yours tom.

04 Nov 2020 12:18:00
i'm from the other lot but i feel your pain and wish you the strength to bear it, loves last gift is remembrance.

04 Nov 2020 12:34:46
It is hellish when the so called natural of order gets interrupted. I lost my brother when he was only 21 (I was only 12) on Christmas Eve 1973. We have a big family and whilst we get on best we can for the sake of our kids and grand kids all of the family still to this day makes a toast to him at 11pm on Christmas eve. Our way of remembering and never forgetting. My mother passed a few years back and it was the last thing she said, that at least i will be with my first born again.

04 Nov 2020 12:42:27
Geesadodothat🍻👍.

04 Nov 2020 12:43:06
Dillits🍻👍.

04 Nov 2020 12:59:31
That's tragic geesadodothat, it's heartbreaking mate. My mum found my younger brother and you can still see the pain that's permanently etched on her face even though it's been over 10 years, you never get over it. There's an emptiness my old mum will never be able to fill until she's with her boy again (he was also her youngest)
Life can bring great joy, but a boot to the baws, sorrow and heartache is always lurking in the shadows ready to hit you at anytime.

04 Nov 2020 13:16:40
Deepest sympathies and best wishes go to you and your families lads.

04 Nov 2020 13:18:29
Thoughts are with you Tomthumb12.

04 Nov 2020 13:18:57
I also lost my brother a few years ago, lifelong season ticket holder in main stand, he used to give my son his ticket for old firm games. This was simply because he hated 12:30 kickoff on Sundays.

04 Nov 2020 14:38:11
Some heart wrenching posts there, that puts everything into perspective, Family are the the most important people in our lives, condolences to those who have lost loved ones.

04 Nov 2020 14:59:51
Pacific, can I ask why he hated 12.30pm KO's on sunday's? Curiosity has got me and it sounds as though there could be a story to tell😁👍.

04 Nov 2020 15:45:17
Nothing really coldo, he was dyed in the wool 15:00 Saturday afternoon man, the only thing he hated more than 12:30 Sunday kickoff was the 18:10 or was it 18:30 on Sundays.
He had sly tv so sat in the house watching old firm games. My son didn't complain he got a braw seat in main stand every Ibrox old firm game 🙂.

04 Nov 2020 16:06:03
Just set in his ways, your son would not have been complaining😁👍.

04 Nov 2020 17:34:08
I had a pal that used to go ballistic when the Friday games were on the go. He used to work late on Fridays. Missed umpteen. Take care lads and god bless absent friends and family 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.
