Guys with social distancing coming into play and games lookin more n more likely to be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future, I wonder if clubs could look into virtual season tickets at reduced prices? . i'm sure sky were trying this out last year, where u wear your headset set at home but have a 180 degree view of the pitch from the half way line in the stand. don't know if it was a success when trialed or not? What you guys think? Viable option?

05 May 2020 12:08:31
Not everyone has access to VR either on phone or headsets, think it will just be empty stadiums, but I can see The broadcasters using CGI to put in “ crowds” into the broadcast for atmosphere as it’s crap watching a closed doors game hard to get invested in it.

05 May 2020 12:37:52
Gersdaft. Technically possible but consumer penetration of VR headsets is limited and current versions would not produce the rich in stadium experience thank you are searching for. Would also require significant investment by TV companies on broadcast technology. Also with no fans and atmosphere at the match would really just be creating a virtual empty stadium experience. You are onto something though and in say 10 years would expect the rich VR stadium experience to be available at premier sports stadiums and live entertainment venues. I saw a prototype in US, you could turn your head round and look at manager or crowd etc, will definitely be fully developed as consumer proposition in the future.

05 May 2020 14:16:31
Agree bout the future bankie . if it’s been trialed and it’s a success. I imagine that smarter minds than ours have already thought bout this. i don’t think the cost would be too extravagant given that it’s a load of cameras in the one spot that give u the view from left to right! I would love to be able to put a headset on my old dad and see his face as he’s transported to a lofted position at the half way line at the greatest stadium in the world . ibrox. he's not made a game in over ten years due to ill health. lol the old boy would probably put his suit on first haha magic.

05 May 2020 15:40:39
Lovely post Gersdaft, best to you and the old man.

05 May 2020 18:00:39
Cheers bankie.

04 May 2020 22:17:12
Evidence should be out Tuesday or Wednesday. Come on RFC. Make it a blinder with massive consequences and dismissals. Knowing our luck it'll be wee Stewart down the pub heard that Neil was blowin Peter and Neil stole peters FIFA 19. Don't disappoint us RFC. We know someone reads this of importance. Let's bury them.

04 May 2020 22:41:37
I'm worried as tone of press articles seems to be getting softer and softer. Its gone from corruption and sackings to unfair play,? This could be humiliating for the club, the supporters and Donald Park.

05 May 2020 07:33:58
Hi Lanzarote, I wouldn't take anything reported by the media as positive when it comes to our Club. The emphasis has been on pushing the SPFL's innocence, and us being portrayed as trouble makers. Rangers have not wavered once in their condemnation of what took place, and I, like Rossco, would be disgusted if our information was flawed after all this time, we'll just have to wait and see mate.

05 May 2020 08:07:02
Saying now Thursday for the release of information to the clubs from us, praying we have some seriously good Info to show as you say time will tell 🙏🏻.

05 May 2020 09:23:16
Totally agree irvger, don't expect anything else from the press. Release now pushed back till Thursday. Hope this blows them wide open.

05 May 2020 11:00:30
Hunker down, keep powder dry and tell the truth.

04 May 2020 21:27:24
All over facebook and lads in here believing some wee tim who still stays with his mum that ashley is a shareholder in castore. Without actually doing a bit of digging themselves. 🤣.

04 May 2020 21:45:52
Agreed Paul. There is no connection. Ashley has absolutely nothing to do with Castore. It’s brilliant though as the dark side are mocking this even though it’s potentially a profitable deal and decent gear. I couldn’t care less as long as the kit lols good and they can make enough to sell at a decent price to meet demand. Credit where it’s due, Celtic have an excellent commercial team but it’s starting to show that we do too.

04 May 2020 22:32:26
What i will say with reading and seeing what castore churn out since we were linked with them becoming our new kit makers on saturday there, our kits will be quality made.
I don't think there's any doubt about that, although i just hope the kits are not too expensive and priced decently for all our wonderful supporters to buy and wear with pride! 👍. The castore merchandise looks class and when you also have andy murray saying the castore tennis gear he now wears is better than anything he's ever worn.
That list includes better quality than his former sportswear makers of adidas, fred perry and under armour.
Says it all really and i look forward to when we can see the designs and buy them.

04 May 2020 22:53:21
Coops I know I hatp on at your comments sometimes but do you honestly think that under armour or adidas were going to keep paying andy vasts sums of money. He has went from 1 to 150 in the last few year and very unlikely to return. Let's be honest here its maybe good quality but they are not in the same league as nike under armour new balance or Adidas.

05 May 2020 01:42:21
I can see the kits being averaged priced with the company hoping it gives them exposure 👍.

05 May 2020 08:06:44
Fauldhouse bear, they are maybe not as well known as the the four you mention, but i'd imagine the quality will put those four to shame, pal.

05 May 2020 08:50:30
He is hardly going to say anything different coop 🤣 paid millions off a company to wear their gear but says he prefers the old stuff. Wouldn't happen mate.

05 May 2020 08:55:43
Fauldhouse Bear, I believe that in the current economic climate, that a smaller, but quality supplier is better for us. Just look at the news that Adidas is in financial turmoil as a result of this pandemic, and then compare that to us being this Company's biggest customer probably, it's a very good addition I feel, and I can't wait for the official announcement.

05 May 2020 09:37:12
Fauldhoose bear, in no way am i saying that castore are currently bigger than adidas, nike, new balance,
under armour etc, i'm talking about the quality of their garments. Andy Murray stated that castore is the best quality sportswear gear he's ever had! He/ I are not saying their bigger than these big sportswear brands. You need to differentiate to what i'm getting at here mate! I'll tell you one thing, the castore brothers seem very ambitious and are similar to become the best brand globally, that's what they stated and quality can help them enormously on that road. I remember when under armour broke into the football kit manufacturing business, a few years back now and there were questions about could they survive and get anywhere near the bigger sportswear brands. Look at them now. I remember even way further back when nike broke into the football kit manufacturing and arsenal were the first british club to have nike as kit suppliers. They are now for me,
even the biggest on football kit manufacturing and were the biggest at everything else before breaking into the football side of things!

{Ed001's Note - you have to remember Under Armour are only where they are through luck. Nike messed up negotiations with a basketball player named Steph Curry before he hit the big time, they didn't even pitch him a deal with his name on, they had the wrong name on a lot of the paperwork they showed him! So he signed with Under Armour for a significant amount less, then blew up and became the biggest selling sports star in the world. He sold more shoes than anyone just after they signed him and it launched them as a brand, where before they were struggling to establish themselves. Castore will need a similar slice of luck or a lot more investment of time and/or money.}

05 May 2020 13:52:48
i'm in the us and would hardly say under armour were struggling before steph curry. pretty much the go to brand for the winter working type of clothing and practically single handedly created market here.

Rhian Brewster

04 May 2020 20:44:09
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new player profile about, Rhian Brewster

05 May 2020 12:16:25
The quality will be what the market can stand for a top, I’ve said before that I’ve got Castore golf wear £69 for a polo shirt and in truth it’s no better than main stream suppliers but was significantly more expensive
We can’t pitch our prices too high because it’s a niche supplier That won’t work, so, if it’s volume reqd the quality will be at that level to allow for price based volume selling.

04 May 2020 17:39:22
We playin this game bhoywonder?

There once was a tim called bhoywonder

With all the people supposedly in the know I am surprised that not one single person mentioned Castore. Even the font of Sevco knowledge Leon didn't even see this coming.

05 May 2020 09:24:37
Aye but Ashley is a shareholder! You couldn't make it up.

I don’t pay attention to Rangers Dying,
I just tell myself they are Lying,
But truth be told it has me crying,
When I think of HMRC and all those bills,
I just pop my 'deludamol' pills.

And ibrox is now a new Lidl.

04 May 2020 13:35:28
Season 19-20 and VOID -That should be the only outcome. Any other decision is FARCICAL. Re-open 20-21 with a re-structured league and start afresh--Every league should be the same. Sorry Liverpool -oh and celtic.
