04 May 2018 21:48:37
Suddenly gerrard is a saviour and you are getting all this investment! A poll on sky says 83% say they don't want him and 67% have said he won't win a title with rangers and I just wondered who is going to invest in a club that still has so much debt at last count it was said they had 5 loans roughly £17m each although as you know I'm a hibby but I don't want any team to go bust or have money problems but all off a sudden everyone on here is thinking it's all behind us it's not you still have a long way to go it will take at least another 4-5 seasons to get back to winning the league. I've also been told at this moment Gerrard has only been promised £10m to spend so let's wait and see how it goes personally I think that he' will be out by February 2019 but that's only in my opinion.

04 May 2018 21:56:29
ok mate

04 May 2018 21:59:07
From what I can make of it, the loans get returned in shares, and by doing this, they get a bigger stake in the club while everyone else's shares get diluted. So in a way, they are increasing their stake without buying shares.

04 May 2018 22:08:59
Aye whitever, away over to yer own page, or are you no big enough yet to have one

04 May 2018 22:10:51
You worry about your team and we will worry about ours. I’m delighted we have Gerrard and am confident he will get the backing by the board. I think a lot of your post is wishful thinking and like that other mob your concerned that we might just have got someone to turn the club around

04 May 2018 22:13:20
Where did you hear he’s only getting 10 million to spend?

04 May 2018 22:24:57
The polls are the way they are because it's Celtic and hubs fans etc that are voting in big numbers. Don't worry we feel your pain. Watch out for Monday press conference.

04 May 2018 22:34:18
Blablabla!

We’ll do our talking on the pitch.

04 May 2018 22:34:37
Just worry about your own team

04 May 2018 22:38:01
We are enjoying our moment hibsboy we’ve not had much to cheer of late and this this box office stuff.

04 May 2018 22:38:28
Hibsboy that's your cell been cleaned time to go back in night night.

04 May 2018 22:40:21
What a fud. End of

04 May 2018 22:43:39
17 million in total soft loans not each it's public knowledge u honestly thonot the directors have put in 85 million in soft loans. Heard of the dembele calculator buto deary me.

04 May 2018 22:48:34
😂😂😂 just watched Rangers and mr Stevie Gerrard on the big news.

Just concentrate on your wee team hibsboy because a sky poll has just confirmed 100% of Rangers fans couldn’t give a monkies about Hibs.

04 May 2018 22:52:04
Nobody cares what you think. Your manager has popcorn for teeth. Hibs are an irrelevant club a fart in a nightclub.

04 May 2018 23:05:55
Only £10m?

I couldn’t care less if Lennon left tomorrow or stayed for the rest of his career, in my opinion it’s bizarre you’re here brandishing the stats and chipping in with our manager leaving in February before he’s even started and when your own club are doing relatively well? Obsessed indeed.

Do you know how much of a transfer budget your own team have for next season?

04 May 2018 23:11:49
Has your cider run out Muppet? What a sad, scared Timmy you are!

04 May 2018 23:23:41
Haven't heard anyone say he is a saviour. It's a blockbuster appointment regardless of his experience everyone is talking about it. Not guaranteed success but I think he has the characteristics to be a good manager. Only time will tell of course but it's exciting nonetheless

04 May 2018 23:35:18
HibsBhoy get real, Stevie G is here to enhance his own reputation and will only do that by delivering success, he may fail but that will not be for the want of trying or appetite on his his part and I just hope we can put a side on the park in the mould of the man, and he is the man, let’s give him our patience bears, this is no Pedro or Warburton we have on our hands, this is a thoroughbred who will develop and improve and will thrive on our support, as bigmarv always said, Keep Believing! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

04 May 2018 23:37:39
Why do you care so much? You know more about our club than us lol. Are you sure your a hibs fan?

04 May 2018 23:43:14
Hibsboy . the 83% were bog trotters highjacking the poll! . But thanks for your concern. He May or may not have that amount of money to spend (think you’ll find it a tad more😉) but he will improve the team. that I have no doubt. Can you and your inbred cousins no just be happy for us? Just once! 🤨

05 May 2018 00:26:11
HibsBhoy, get a grip ya walloper. You not got a spoon to burn somewhere?

05 May 2018 00:27:19
i don’t care about hibs, never have

i’ve never looked for aberdeen's result, why would I

and i certainly cldnt give a monkeys about timmy as obsessing about their rivals is their forté

press coverage of a team going for back to back trebles this wk tells you all you need to know

it’s ALL about the Rangers . we are still the only show in town

he’s no experience he’ll be sacked by xmas . really

let’s wait and see

i’m not worried but i know plenty who are

it’s all they talk about

we are all they talk about

04 May 2018 21:47:32
What do you guys think of Ryan Babel? Went of the radar after leaving Liverpool but has revived his career at Besiktas and played well in the Champions league this season helping his team Qualify from their group. Not really a rumour just interested in others opinions given his links with Gerrard.

04 May 2018 23:40:07
I’d like to think that we can build a new generation of bears in the coming years that will write themselves into our history without signing a load of ex-cronies, that said, if Stevie wants them here then I’m behind them 100%. I’m also hopeful that he will be brave enough to get some of our own young guns in there from the off. (Stephen Kelly, atakayi etc. ) 🤜🏻✍🏻👌🏻🤘🏻

04 May 2018 21:33:57
Now that Steven Caulker seems settled in Scotland and back playing regular, I’ll be surprised if Gerrard doesn’t consider him a transfer target. With all the difficulties he’s had I’m glad to see him playing again and hope perhaps to see him in a Rangers top soon! (Ps him and Skrtel would be a monstrous pairing at centre half. slower than a week in the jail but still monstrous! )

04 May 2018 21:32:39
Hi Bears Still buzzing. Just the irony as Celtic think they have some sort of brotherhood with Liverpool connected by a song that Celtic have adopted for some
reason (a great and important song for Liverpool don't forget, please, in all seriousness)
FACTS
1.Souness- Ranger, Supporter/ manager
2.Gerrard- Rangers Manager
3.Dagliesh- Rangers Supporter and dreamed of playing for us.
4. Last but not least - the shared loss of our loved ones through football.

I think on reflection there is a real connection between both clubs.

I think we should now show solidarity with our Liverpool brothers and Sisters and sing the song with REAL heart and REAL connection with regards to the folks we have lost in the past tragedies. Steve and all in Liverpool you really will never walk alone, the Gers have and always will have your back.
ATB for the weekend.

04 May 2018 22:14:05
TJBB

Are you seriously suggesting we sing that song? Would you also like us to walk hand in hand with the Celtic fans next game so we call all join in together?

04 May 2018 22:45:33
That would wind the mhanky mhob up no end.

04 May 2018 22:53:41
The only link smeltic have with liverpool is that they stole their song.

04 May 2018 23:42:15
You start it tomorrow TJBB 😬🙌🏻

05 May 2018 02:05:46
Some interesting replies.

Arthur, Can I ask what you mean by "that song" and what upsets you. I understand that they have hijacked this in recent years and the song may be tainted from your perspective. IMO we have more in common with Liverpool than any other club in the UK and could justify adopting this anthem on occasion. Unless i'm missing something, don't let a story get in the way of the facts.

04 May 2018 21:04:48
Been wondering what to say here really bears.

all a can come up with is that this feels really special, unlike it has done for a VERY VERY long time.
and a mean beyond even 2012.

this feels special

big task lad,

let's go.

04 May 2018 20:38:09
It's always about us. If we're not winning or winning it's always about Rangers. Celtic about to possibly do double treble but all the talk is Rangers new manager. Brilliant. Even if they win it then goes to Gerrard first signing, preseason etc. Dave King timing perfect.

04 May 2018 21:00:28
I feels good again. I don’t remember 4000 turning up for the bread man or Pedro. The futures bright the futures orange

04 May 2018 21:06:48
Blue nose, 4000 is fantastic but it was reported on stv that it was 5000 who welcomed Steven Gerrard. Credit to our supporters once again.

04 May 2018 20:04:40
Been thinking today amid all the change and with a new manager coming in.

I’d like to see the club connect more with supporters, especially the next generation.

For example, why not have an open training session at Ibrox on a Thursday or Friday before an away game.

Let the U17’s and the development squad play home games there too, if fixtures allow and put them on at weekends or Friday nights too, if the first team are away.

I’m sure fans would come out and support. I’m think a £5 fee for adults and kids free if accompanied, plus fire in a couple of pies etc and your making upwards of £15/ 20 per fam of 4.

If you got between 1500/ 3500 or 3500/ 5000 attending, your into between £70 or £100k a time, Could be used on the stadium, on the academy or fund a few players wages.

Would give the club a chance too include the next generation and improve relations between fans and club.

Just a thought.

04 May 2018 20:19:08
Great shout mate

04 May 2018 20:31:34
And the young bears club. My oldest was a member, was looking forward to signing up the younger one but it hasn't been around for years.

04 May 2018 20:42:41
Jardine72 great idea but you wonder how someone at the club can't come up with your idea. good shout mate.

04 May 2018 20:48:12
I'd love that jardine I just think the park would get in a bit of a state for games

04 May 2018 20:53:50
Covenantor I’m sure the ground staff could manage it, it’s only an extra two games, our surface is good.

I see teams like Bayern and Barcelona doing it, even teams such as Köln and Auxerre have open training sessions. Great way too keep the young bears interested.

04 May 2018 19:46:09
This is the change I can feel it if you have doubt, fair play, but if your not excited about this then there is really something wrong with your mindset, this is the best thing that's happened to us for years, Gerrard brings that class we have missed at our club, class will always shine through, for a start investment will come, just with the name, so will much better players, hence more competent on the park, guys who can sort a game out because they have bottle at that level. I will tell you one thing I feel a lot better than I did on Monday morning to be continued with the future posts.

04 May 2018 19:57:47
We are hopefully at the start of something very big Bears! Press conference from Dave king on Monday according to EstConsultancy. Reliable Gers site. BUILD IT AND IT WILL COME 💙🤚⚔🛡. We will all get behind Steven Gerrard no doubt.

04 May 2018 19:21:23
I've got to say I would have been happy with Gary McAllister on his own after Pedro so this is unbelievable . 4 year deal instead of 3 also for Stevie g shows he's in it for the long run.

04 May 2018 19:30:18
I loved Gerrard's reply "I miss FIGHTING for 3 points on a Saturday"
thats a word for the non triers we have

04 May 2018 20:21:40
Its all about the players now, they are playing for their future. If i were a player knowing Steven Gerrard is now manager and possibly watching then i'd be busting a gut and playing out of my skin. Having said that i'm sure Gerrard has a pretty good idea who he wants to keep. i'm expecting a huge effort tomorrow .

04 May 2018 23:45:53
Exactly Bluepete, this bunch for whatever reason have never had the appetite and desire to fight for the 3 points, Stevie will change that or ship them out

04 May 2018 19:05:09
After today’s news conference let’s hear: Let’s Go by Calvin Harris being played at home games.

04 May 2018 22:04:46
bring it on home to me by rod stewart

04 May 2018 19:01:52
There are 3 bigs games still to go this season. I hope the team haven’t been distracted by all the news today. let's hope the team can add to the big news by winning at the weekend for starters. I would like to think the players will be out to impress the new manager, and let's see a more competitive team on Saturday. BRING IT ON! let's GO!

04 May 2018 18:42:57
LETS GO. CRAZY!

Credit to the Rangers Board for bringing in a high profile football man such as Gerrard to Ibrox. Hopefully the good times are back. Let's Go!

04 May 2018 18:36:57
totally buzzing with gerrard appiontment diehard bear but also love liverpool remember when we signed souness was overjoyed at the time but i feel this is bigger his hunger and desire is stronger the man is a born winner big times ahead we are the people again lol.

04 May 2018 18:17:51
Anyone think Stevie G could pull off a coup and bring Rooney up to Ibrox do what walter did with Gazza?

would love it.

04 May 2018 18:20:46
Rooney is way out our wage bracket. He’s past it. The fags have caught up with him.

04 May 2018 18:30:07
not as if he needs the money

04 May 2018 18:41:08
China bound multi million swan song

04 May 2018 19:15:34
i had a dream lol

04 May 2018 18:11:27
I think DK has pulled off a blinder by securing SG.

McAllister is another Rangers man and will relish being the foil.

Another world class name walks into the Bears den.

I’m sure we will be fitter, hungrier, more determined and sharper under the new management team.

Hopefully Jimmy Nicholl can Gee the lads up for the last 3 games and secure a Euro bearth.

Suddenly having hope is a good things.

Onwards

04 May 2018 17:31:41
Welcome Stevie G!
Credit the board and chairman on an appointment that catches the imagination of everyone! We now have a real winner leading us next year and once we get rid of the deadwood the future is only bright! Not seen a buzz and media attention like this since gazza.
LETS GO.

04 May 2018 17:29:01
Thought that was a really good press conference no outlandish claims thought Steven Gerrard came across as a very confident guy with an underlying determination to be fair I thought Dave King was good also Can't imagine gerrard and mcallister putting up with any crap
I'm feeling good for once as a bear I really hope we get 2nd now give him a great Base to work from.

04 May 2018 18:16:38
Agree totally. Steven Gerrard came across as cool, determined and he knows what he wants. Streets ahead already of Pedro and Warburton. Will be interesting to see how many players lift their game tomorrow and the last 2 games away. It should show up the real chancers in our dressing room. We all need to get behind Stevie G (Ger) . This is so positive for the club. great appointment

04 May 2018 17:21:21
Proudest day for a long time to be a Rangers fan, SG is a real coup for RFC. He, s cut from the same cloth and he, s a pure winner! I am sure he will help to bring the Club to where we should be after some really dark times. Cheers!

04 May 2018 17:16:58
We have a great signing so let's hope it rubs off on our squad. Three wins gives us second place and is what the current squad really should deliver to us.
270 minutes of total concentration and effort. Jimmy Nicholl will have us organised and so to the players selected, this is your chance to show that you have something to offer, and are not as worthless as you have shown recently.

04 May 2018 16:39:38
Should try to sign ya ya toure for next season

04 May 2018 17:10:31
Great player but too much for wages probably get 3 others in for his wage but we can dream LET'S GO

04 May 2018 17:59:58
3 players try a full team he was on 200 odd grand a week not long ago

04 May 2018 16:38:52
Stevie g says It's important to me to come to your work smiling. Well that's el buffalo out the door then lol.

04 May 2018 16:36:54
Nice to see a good old tim at the helm again:)

04 May 2018 16:49:31
Here we go the obsessed are out and about its great how you are so keen on following us I kinda get it I'd want to follow the most successful club side in the world oh wait I do never ever forget!

04 May 2018 16:54:57
What is your lot's obsession with who's in charge and the religion, gies peace, go and enjoy your free samples that your champions league money bought you it's friday night .
Funny how so many people of a certain team suddenly think Gerrard is a terrible move lol

04 May 2018 17:23:54
Think you will find if you done your research, he is NOT a tim FACT

04 May 2018 17:25:31
And I thought we were the bigots!
Always remember that the best ever manager that you lot ever had was one of us.

04 May 2018 17:31:11
Billy D spot-on mate spot on

04 May 2018 18:39:38
Love it how whenever we are linked with or sign somebody that every Celtic fan starts looking for any possible link to say that the new appointment is a Celtic fan. Grow up

04 May 2018 16:32:00
I hope to God SG is going to work out long term but at this point in time we've made a massive signing that's put us back on the map world wide with a big blue thump.

Timothy, Sheep and Diddies, You may mock, we know who you are. We don't know what you want. If you're looking for revenge, I can tell you it pointless but what Rangers do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills we have acquired over a very long history. Skills that make us a nightmare for people and clubs like you. If you let it go, now, that will be the end of it. We will not look for you, We will not pursue you. But if you don't, We will look for you, We will find you and we will destroy you.

04 May 2018 18:01:40
Aye awryt Liam Neeson haha

04 May 2018 16:29:43
Stevie will probably be at the game tomorrow but i wonder if certain players start, like Halliday, Martin, Holt, Windass, Cummings, O'Halloran, Dorrans, Dodoo and Hodson and they play out of their skins, Gerrard might want to keep them lol hope not ;-)

04 May 2018 17:52:37
Why on earth would ohallaron or dodoo be starting? Only players out of there i would keep be dorrans and holt. Both may be bit part players once jacks back in and arfield

04 May 2018 19:33:28
Paul86, I said 'if' 😆

04 May 2018 16:15:36
I think Gerrards been on here gathering our opinions before taking the job, this wee quote of his is spot on and I hope he sticks to it

"But what I won’t be is one of those managers that goes on about a philosophy and talks and talks and talks; I think it’s important to walk the walk. "

04 May 2018 16:06:53
I read on SSN, Gerrard said, "lacking experience isn't an issue for me but it seems to be for others" well said Stevie, all these idiots who think they know anything about football have proved they are totally clueless. Stevie is an intelligent person and will take us back to where we belong, to the top, natural order will be restored ;-)

04 May 2018 15:38:34
Must say, watched Gerards press conference and very impressed.

04 May 2018 15:33:14
Great signing, best one since gazza, bring it on. Just means that paranoid mob will be talking even more about us.

04 May 2018 15:15:51
I think that McAllister might be a more important signing than Gerrard. Great experience to assist Gerrard.

04 May 2018 14:48:11
Well done to the board for getting this over the line. Its a major risk but Gerard is a proven winner and leader. He will have experience beside him.

04 May 2018 15:37:46
Fantastic appointment. Just hope he is given the backing as I’m sure he will do a great job. Best signing since Gazza

04 May 2018 14:45:45
right we got Stevie G in. but what's next we still need to finish 2nd and try get to the group stages of the europa league. but saying that all the loanees won't stay.

saying that Stevie might want a hole new squad.

but what's the kitty like. £2 - 5 -7 - 10 - £15 million. regardless what we spend Celtic can better that. they have a larger kitty than us and can attract bigger players due to champions league. yeah we have a big name as a manager that players will want to maybe play for but again Rangers come with a bad rep. 4 managers within 2 years. Warburton, Pedro, Murty and now Gerrard. let's hope this one cam see out his contract.

04 May 2018 15:40:41
That's not bad rep that's bad management which would appear to have been eradicated PLUS possible new chairman/ board. This is not a possible bar to signing players we want but if anything a good honey trap for the best PLUS presence of SG to allow better set up.

04 May 2018 14:39:11
hi fellow bears
great day for us today just read a quote from the great jurgen klopp its as follows :- I really don't think before anyone says anything official I should say anything about the situation.

When it is decided I will say something. It is up to him when he wants to say something about it. well said don't you think? shows you how a real manager / gentleman should behave!

04 May 2018 14:29:35
Gerrard wasn’t my preferred choice but, I and I’m sure the majority of Rangers fans and supporters wish him all the best. I hope that the board algo give the support and backing that he requires. Also I am sure that he and Gary McAllister will attract footballers to Rangers that previously may have been unsure about coming to Rangers. Do you think that Gerrard could help improve certain players at the club? I think Rossiter May benefit (as long as he stays fit), also maybe he could help get more from Windass. At the start of the season though I am sure it will be a very different team as to what we see until the end of the season. I have seen quite a few different rumours already (loans and permanent) including:

Carroll
Skrtel
Solankie
Woodburn
Adam
Crouch
Morrison
Rooney
Rodwell

I’m sure he will be looking to make signings as soon as possible. His first few confirmed signings should give us an idea of what direction we are heading.

04 May 2018 15:07:43
if the rumours on McGregor are true it look like we are cashing in on foderingham which we should get around 3 million for. hopefully that will be added to the transfer kitty.

I honestly don't think we are that far away from having a good team. If we an get two proper centre backs with mcrorie acting as back up/ rotation that should sort out the defense.

if we get arfield and a good defensive player in we will have good options with dorrans, jack, rossiter, holt and windass.

murphy and candias are both good players on the wings.

strikers are a problem, I don't rate morelos but he might get better with time. i'd like to sign Oliver Mcburnie but I think we also need a big target man when teams sit in against us.

if we can clear the decks of the players not good enough like pena, herera, halliday, hodson, o'hallran etc and get in some good back up we will have a good squad.

04 May 2018 14:23:04
Confirmed, Gerrard is the new manager, what have all the tims got to say now :-D.

04 May 2018 14:20:52
Stevie G has signed a 4 year deal good luck and welcome

04 May 2018 14:16:35
4 year deal being confirmed!
Big commitment and project, let's hope he's as half a good manager as he was a player 🙏🏻.

04 May 2018 14:01:10
All the talk of no managerial experience, yes it's true and it is a bit worrying, but then I sit and think about it, Gerrard has played at the top level, trained at the top level, premier league experience, champions league experience, international experience a plenty, high fitness regimes, I could go on.
The main point is, he has played and learned from top managers throughout his career, he would gained various tactical knowledge from different managers different methods, basically all his knowledge will be of HUGE benefit to Rangers and I'm certainly excited about what he's going to bring to our club!
This could turn out to be an amazing era we're entering so strap in and enjoy the ride

04 May 2018 13:44:34
Today’s appointment of Steven Gerrard will be a fantastic appointment for the club and proves the board has secured funding to challenge for the league. I would call on all rangers fans to support the manager and forget his management inexperience and focus on his winning mentality - Souness was a similar character and completely transformed Scottish football. This is a new dawn and I for one can’t wait 👊🏻🇬🇧

04 May 2018 13:33:37
Well the media are going crazy, certainly for the moment the story is nothing but positive.

There must be money coming otherwise Gerrard ain't saying YES.

It's risky but so was Souey! Different time different circumstances I know.

I just love the fact that Rangers are still able to attract the biggest of names to the club, even when we are at the bottom!

If this fails then the board must go. I've heard King is off and that is the next Chess piece being moved.

04 May 2018 14:01:33
Hearing that guy sarver is back in the frame

04 May 2018 13:20:35
I can't wait to the day we can wipe the smirk off tht lot and paddy power hopefully the revolution starts today . c'mon the teds.

04 May 2018 13:17:54
Stevie g has arrived at ibrox

Happy days.

04 May 2018 12:56:51
So surely gerrard taking the job he's had some concrete assurances about transfer funds and is happy with what he's been told. not bad for a team supposed to be on the brink of financial collapse. u got to admire the mankie mob. they had every man and his dog association with them out trying to talk him out of it.

04 May 2018 12:46:40
See McCoist bumping his gums again. What a bitter twisted tit he is turning out to be.
If only he was half as good a manager as he was a striker for us, we wouldn't have been so far behind.
So many chances to bring the young guns through but stuck to his pals and stupid wages in the bottom tiers.

04 May 2018 14:08:46
Name the young guns he could of brought through and where are they now?

04 May 2018 12:41:12
Ladys and Gentlemen we got him 😂😂.

04 May 2018 12:27:07
Martin Skirtel knocked unconscious nearly swallowed tongue and played on in match for his country. Guts and determination in abundance. Just the type of player we need. Welcome Steven Gerrard MBE to Ibrox.

04 May 2018 12:48:27
Where are all the mhankies today?!?!?!?!

04 May 2018 14:35:29
gram probably at ibrox?

04 May 2018 12:10:50
Okay so it looks as if we have a new manager and i suppose itll fill seats and generate season ticket money. We even may get some decent people to come along. doesn't get away from the fact the guy has no managerial experience. Guys talking about winning league already. Pie in the sky - He will not beat Rodgers. It pains me to say it but the best we can hope for is a cup. Also what about the close brother agreement, takeover panel issue, fragmented board room. Too many people have their heads in sand.

04 May 2018 12:24:58
For goodness sake GERSGOVAN enjoy the biggest day our club has had for many a year and you would probably have kept Murty in charge! Stevie ain’t daft and he has had guarantees about future! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

04 May 2018 12:31:23
Away back to your own page

04 May 2018 13:22:28
GERSGOVAN, try be a bit excited for what's about to come? That's what's wrong to much negativity and it rubs off on manager and players, let's get behind gerard and new players from day 1 and get this league title back where it belongs

04 May 2018 14:42:31
Correct yately 1,there's just some people you can never please! We as true gers supporters definitely deserve a day like today! Good luck steven gerrard! I back you to the hilt!

04 May 2018 15:38:39
Agree coops like I've said before wasn't my first choice down to experience) but I'm now a bit excited and optimistic. Let's get behind him lads and show some patience we have to give him time to build his own side

04 May 2018 11:33:28
Conference moved to 3pm.

04 May 2018 11:32:11
Good morning Bears. Well, I'm 67 years old and have supported my beloved Rangers all my life (my grandfather played for them just before World War I) . Like most of you I've lived through the good and bad times. I must admit to feeling very emotional, happy and excited today about the Gerrard appointment. This shows real ambition and all credit to Dave King in getting to this position. Surely the players can lift themselves for the last three games to impress Gerrard if nothing else. Good times are just around the corner again but hurry up before I'm deid!

04 May 2018 12:14:18
That actually made me laugh out loud Doiger. don't worry mate you’ve still a good score left in you yet. 😂😂
I’m pretty sure you’ll see us lift a few trophies before you say hello to the big man upstairs👍🏻

04 May 2018 12:27:22
Well said Doiger, you are a good lad and we all LOVE the Rangers! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

04 May 2018 12:44:54
Cheers Colster! Maybe God is Bill Struth!

04 May 2018 13:18:38
Good on you Doiger, same age as myself, and probably had the same rollercoaster supporting our beloved team. Follow Follow.

04 May 2018 11:16:35
Now that wee have our new gaffer. I wonder where the money is coming from to bank roll us. Hope that announcement is made at the same time. Exciting times ahead for us. Talk of skirtel is already got my hopes up. Wonder if Torres fancies a year here as an old pals act or if Klopp will help out with a few loans of fringe players.

04 May 2018 11:05:01
I am really excited by this imminent appointment. I really feel he will sort this mess out on the field and bring an organisation to our style of play, he won't tolerate shirkers that's for sure. Welcome Stevie G, no promises, let's be patient and we will see the results.

04 May 2018 11:58:22
This is the time for every Rangers fan to get behind our new manager. When you think of all the rest of scottish football would love nothing better than see him fail. I just hope the fans give him time there's bound to be a couple of hiccups at the start even Souness had a shaky start after all. Best of luck to the young man.

04 May 2018 10:52:37
Steven Gerrard will be confirmed as the new #Rangers manager at a 3pm Media conference. Get yourself along to Ibrox!

04 May 2018 10:37:36
Boys let's get this doing the rounds.

Steve Gerrard Gerrard he's big and he's ****ing hard
He's here for 55
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

04 May 2018 10:26:19
I just hope he doesn't underestimate the Scottish game like Warburton and sign some decent players.

04 May 2018 09:49:23
Is there going to be an unvealing today?

Worth heading to ibrox for 12?

04 May 2018 09:58:07
Not confused about that tbh. Sky said a press conference was set up at Ibrox for the game tomorrow. I thought they were done at Auchenhowie. The unveiling of every manager is done at Ibrox in the blue room. Would love a big crowd there to welcome him.

04 May 2018 10:02:24
Rangers have brought in extra security at ibrox today but not sure what time the announcement will be.

04 May 2018 10:53:22
Confirmed 3pm Ibrox. let’s welcome him to The Worlds most successful club!

04 May 2018 11:15:05
Maybe some of the people who give DoF stick on here will back off
He has put us on front and back pages of every newspaper, has every pundit talking about us.
Great it’s a three year deal. Let’s get behind Gerrard, McAlister and Mark Allen.
Tidy up finances and boardroom issues now.
Hearing skirtle wants to be part of it

04 May 2018 12:47:31
Well said man

04 May 2018 15:44:17
4 year mate

04 May 2018 09:40:36
Even after everything our club has been through these past few years we can still go out there and pull in the biggest names in world football. Who was the last person who had Stevies standing in the game to join the Tims? We wanted a big name. Well lads they don't come much bigger than Steven Gerrard. let's get right behind our team for WE ARE THE PEOPLE!

🔴⚪🔵.

04 May 2018 09:24:55
welcome mr gerrard to the famous really exciting times ahead born winner, time to wipe that dirty smile of the faces of the unwashed.

04 May 2018 09:44:14
Interesting few months ahead with who's going out and who's coming in. Exciting times!

04 May 2018 08:59:34
Steven Gerrard. Welcome to Glasgow Rangers sir. The worlds most successful football club. Onwards and upwards. Let's get behind the new management team bears.

04 May 2018 09:19:36
I’d urge every user on this site to tweet Humza Yousaf transport minister and give him the spoiler alert Steven Gerrard WILL be the Rangers manager after his tweet ridiculing us
welcome Stevie G

04 May 2018 08:43:08
It's amazing all these ex-celtic players/ managers saying it would be a bad move for Gerrard to come to us but although he may not have the experience, he WILL sign trusted players who know how to play the game. I've heard Skrtel being mentioned, take him in a heartbeat, no nonsense type player, if we manage to get rid of the deadwood and i'm sure Gerrard will want rid of a lot, then he will fill the squad with a mixture of experience and good young talent.

04 May 2018 10:40:12
Aye stuz, a bad move for them as they don't want any competition to timco.

04 May 2018 08:28:46
See Gerrard's main priority is too sign Martin Skrtal, think this would be a fantastic signing

04 May 2018 08:25:20
With SG in charge, we will have a winner and with the right support he will bring success, and remembering that it is the football team we support, it should be a no brainer when deciding to renew your season ticket.
