well I see the script is going to be like previous years k miller has left montreal kille look like dropping down k miller and boyd will land at ibrox making us look like the the chelsea pensioners that will be budget gone we will be left with foster moshni and co the only bright point we may get rid of cribari and simonsen but craig gordo may replace him this is not the stuff dreams are made of nor will it sell season tckets I just wish either wallace or the board would view the posts on this site and realise ally is expenable and his removal would sell tickets

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If what the papers r saying is correct Ally is just a Walter Smith clone, bring in tried and tested old pros. If I was in that youth team who could do the double I wouldn't sign a new contract and walk. I am waiting to renew my season ticket and if Miller signs no money from me goes in his pension pot. We need players who have a resale value only way to make some money in Scotland. Miller no resale, Boyd no resale, Gordon no re sale

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do you think reviewing these pages would make any difference? How many different posters have posted on this page right now? not all the posters then support your views, check the polls, a couple of hundred at most have voiced an opinion hardly a majority, I think you are getting carried away with yourself there. Boyd and miller up front again? Hardly progressive but not a bad strike force all the same and no more high balls from the back.

Agree0 Disagree0

If ally signs Kenny Miller I think I'll be watching Partick Thistle next season.
Who next, Billy Dodds?

Agree0 Disagree0

How many bears do u know that want to keep macoist very few the poaters on this site have turned from a trikle wanting rid of macoist to a raging torrent if u think the majority wany macoist u are deluded that's the one part of my opinion that I know most bears agree with me on

Agree0 Disagree0

Furthermore both left rangers thinking they would be big stars elsewhere and make loads of dosh didn't happen especially in boyds case now they want to crawl back for one last payday and try to convince us they are rangers men

Agree0 Disagree0

I have no problem with you objecting to Boyd and Millers return and I have no disagreement that the majority on this site want Ally removed from his position what I am saying is this site cannot claim to represent the majority of Rangers fans because there simply are not enough different posters for you to claim you speak for the majority. Boyd IS a Rangers man, Miller, well probably more of a hibs man if truth be told.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye but funny thing they all turn into rangers men when they hold there hand out for money ta

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 do you mean wages?

I said this before the Utd game. The team for next season should be: Bell, McAusland, McCulloch (final season), Gasparotto, Wallace, McKay, Crawford, McLeod, Templeton, Clark and Gallacher. Willing to concede on a couple. Think Wallace is staying which is great but if he left to further his career, he'd do so with my blessing as he owes us nothing. A better centre half in place of Jig would be great, but on 18k, he's going nowhere. Would like to hear what others think of this. Happy bank holiday.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - not on £18k big Jig)

Ed, I'd like to think not but it seems his contract may have been transferred verbatim and with bonuses is on the 18k mark. I'd love to think otherwise.

Legal eagles on here who know everything

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a legal eagle or even close but it's apparent an open secret in the football world. I'd hope to goodness it's not the case as no one should be on anywhere close but he is club captain and don't forget the gaffer was on that or thereabouts. Regardless, what about the line up bonbon, what would yours be?

Agree0 Disagree0

Like the sentiment of the young players but Crawford, MacKay, Gasporotto, Gallacher and McAusland have yet to prove they can do it for Rangers in front of 40,000 every week. This is totally different to playing at Ayr or Morton but I would give McAusland a go

My team would be

Bell

McAusland McCulloch Moshni Wallace

MacLeod Black

Law Clark Templeton

Daly

We need to get rid of Foster, Sheils, Cribari, Little, Simonsen, Peralta

Replace these with

Billy MacKay, Kenny MacLean, Kris Boyd, (On right salaries)

Young Players with Potential

Kelly, Telfer, Stoney, MacKay Gasporotto, Aird, Sinammon, Murdoch, Halkett, Hardie, Ramsay.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like that MOLS. Agree that they haven't shown it. Need to before the bigeague though. Your list of youngsters is encouraging too. Hope we see a few more of them. I think Moshni will get found out though unless he can consistently raise his game. Great post though mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice to see youth given it's chance yesterday and today. Dunfermline's 9 youngsters were good enough to draw with Ally's elder citizens.
Good to see Heart's blend of a couple of experienced pros with the overwhelming numbers of youngsters coming good after a difficult season.
Couldn't help thinking shouldn't that be us? Are we really talking about Craig Gordon as a back up to Cammy Bell? Are we seriously going to offer 34/ 35 year old Kenny Miller a deal? And are we for one minute thinking about Cribari on £7,000 per week?
Did anyone else read Kevin Kyle say he would have played for a quarter of the money he received and players could not believe the money they were getting to join wee Ally.
Hearts youngsters will be too hot to handle for our old hands on recent evidence.
Others have been responsible for wasting more money than McCoist but we are a football club.
We pay to see the team on the park and that is McCoist's remit.
We should have had a team of youngsters who by now had 2 seasons of playing together with developed systems and tactics and instead we have a rag tag team of mercenary's which Ally will add to this summer.
Chance to redeem ourselves blown and I for one will never look on this undefeated season with any pride whatsoever. Lost opportunity yes but pride definitely not.
The only solace might be Ally finally packing in when we do not win the championship next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Greybear, I think you are spot on.

Agree0 Disagree0

OP. I was at the 4-0 win for the U20 at Falkirk on Friday night. Particularly impressive were Telfer, Halkett but mostly Ramsay. They can all play but have they got the mentality

Agree0 Disagree0

Greybear. you've hit the nail on the head.

Agree Mols, I saw the under 20s a few times this season and there are at least half a dozen players who should have been integrated into the first team whilst in the lower leagues I fear more of the same next season just look at Allys transfer targets I would love his job i'm sure I could do better Ally could be given the pick of the best players in the E P L and not get them to gel clueless. W. A. T. P Bluebear

Agree0 Disagree0

OP what is your source as to Jigs wage? Please tell me its not a pal down the pub, you really should not be posting things like this at this time unless it is true of course. Are you happy with the information being true?

Agree0 Disagree0

Came from a person with a fair bit of clout in the football world. Would be delighted to be wrong. My understanding is that this was a continuation of his original contract. Asides from this, there was a far wider point around the team for next year and the youth. Few have picked up on this or offered a thought. And one final point, I develop my own thoughts and don't reply on a guy 'down the pub'. One reason I seldom post anywhere is because some people like to shoot everything down if it isn't a) their opinion, b) they don't agree. No harm but if you know different, tell us. Still waiting for bonbon's team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Greybear great post at n6 mindreader is the name you be posting under cause you have certainly posted what hundreds or thousends of us are thinking lol

We have Cammy Bell and Gallacher as a very worthy back up. We don't need a third keeper, especially an injury prone Craig Gordon. Will we never learn?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It must be very demoralising for the aspiring youngsters. Warming the bench knowing that in seven days they will be doing the same. Black, foster etc have regular stinkers and are still inked onto the 1st XI list. No faith. No foresight. He's still thinking that there is a transfer budget- prepare for the worst Coisty.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 1 prepare for the worst bears- Coisty doing more of the same next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Are we signing Gordon?

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems to be coming out of Ally's office that he's keen to offer a deal. Gallacher looked great when he played, didn't let us down and looked very good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig Gordon would be a big name to please the fans. Sell Season Books

Agree0 Disagree0

Who has info to ally's office? Craig Gordon sell season ticktets are we being serious?

Agree0 Disagree0

Injury record poor, not the big name to get excited about. Bell and Gallacher are more than capable. Gordon would be another passenger we don't need and can't afford.

Agree0 Disagree0

N5 who in there right mind would buy a season book to see a guy sitting on the bench we don't need any more keepers but maybe he struck up a friendship with ally jobs for the mates again

Agree0 Disagree0

In 4 years how many 1st team minutes has the guy played?

Agree0 Disagree0

More of the same we must remember why mccoist won't drop players he learned the manager stuff fae mr smith and though I admire what mr smith done for rfc it was his failure to rotate team that cost us 10 in a row imo

No matter that we didn't really give the youth a chance after the League was won, we finished the campaign undefeated and all waking up happier for it this morning?

Here's another angle, the under 20s do the League and Cup double and that's a far bigger deal than the first team achieved. Gordon Durie's doing a damn fine job.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Op, unfortunately there are some on here that will agree with your first point and not really care about your second.

Shame really, these guys should have been given a chance to step up weeks ago but ally's ego did not allow it.
