Edo its 7th jan already on Monday. When's Nimmo smith sitting on the EBT issue? {The Ed039's Note - 29th January)

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Is it a three day maximum tribunal? And has CG decided to attend?

Agree4 Disagree5

Nimmo Smith has been sitting on this issue since he got it. Waited and waited for the Tax Tribunal decision.

so mccoist has got a team to pick for tommorw youth or overrated players wonder who he will pick mccloed shud be straight back in the team without a doubt

Believable2 Unbelievable10

Ian black is polishing allys boots as we speak, I haven't a clue why that guy gets a game.

Agree8 Disagree6

McCoist makes some strange picks. I'd include McLeod, MacKay, Crawford, Perry, Aird and Hegarty every time and would definitely ditch Black - he is useless. Also Sandaza should be dumped. Kyle could do a job at least for a couple of seasons and I think Wallace, Templeton & Little could be good for next 3 seasons. For God's sake get rid of Black!

Agree5 Disagree7

A very negative post. The young lads have done well but still need the strength of our more experienced players to support them. Re young McLeod, after a virus, he is probably better to start on the bench. At the end of the day Ally will pick a strong eleven no matter the combination.

Agree12 Disagree7

@1 I dont think its his boots he is polishing if he gets a game he looks out his depth at this level

Agree3 Disagree1

You could go into a public park and pick eleven players that would win a game in the turd div you guys should take up something worthwhile like tiddlywinks you would have more interesting things to talk about jambo jim

Agree6 Disagree3

Jambo Jim. I wouldn't crow too much. If Mad Vlad doesn't get a buyer soon he'll walk (he's already said there will be no more investment in the club), leaving you high and dry, and we will be a division above you before you know it. Your fans pulled through the last time but they don't have thirty million (or whatever his accrued debt is personally) to buy him out, and he strikes me as the type who would prefer liquidation (as main creditor or by selling off the stadium etc separately to the highest bidder) to accepting a cheap offer from a consortium of fans. Then you can talk from experience about tiddlywinks, public park players and the 'turd' division because that's where you will be. Unpaid wages, transfer embargo, stringing along HMRC on more than one occasion, forced to sell or let your best players leave, up in front of the SFA every other week, Mad Vlad's crazy interviews etc. Slippery slope mate, look where we ended up, I would be more concerned about the future of your own team than commenting on where we are currently if I were you.

What's happened to David goodwillie ed? I can't believe ally spent all last summer trying to sign him, I'm really worried ally is going waste any transfer money we have. {The Ed039's Note - He is on loan or has been on loan at Crystal Palace from Blackburn)

Believable11 Unbelievable17

Christ sake is Ally to blame or is Craig Whyte im afraid Ally can only pee with the C0ck hes got.
Many of his targets were decent players but weve never had the money and i dont think we will have for a long time. Heres a few that could have made a big difference to our side if we were actually im a decent financial state mind the spelling Juhasz, Verhoak, Goodwillie, Conway also the kid who went too West Brom from DU was it Scott Adam?, then theres Grant Holt which was just a total joke lol but the pattern goes that Ally doesnt get the boys he wants 1st time of asking lets look at a couple pf good signings on his behalf Bocanegra, Bartley (2nd spell) Wallace, Sheils, Templeton hes also brought McCabe Hutton, Mckay, Mcleod, Crawford, Naismith Little through and gave them there chance and offloaded a few Billy Big B@lls like Fleck & Broadfoot. I just dont know what some of us Gers fans expect gone are the days of paying large transfer fees but we will still have to pay huge wages to attract any sort of decent player to Scotland i dont even think when were in the SPL we will be able to get the quality of signing like Diouf, Weiss or Jelavic ever again so Get use to it Bears!!

Larky Bear {The Ed039's Note - Scott Allan was the boy at Dundee United, he is now on his 3rd loan spell at Portsmouth from WBA)

Just because he hasnt cracked it down south doesnt mean he wouldnt do a job up here.

Agree17 Disagree7

Ed do you trust ally with our transfer budget when the time comes? @1 bartley was garbage in his 2nd spell, the dutch winger was meant to be a superstar, I ain't heard anything about him since, Conway not doing much, time will tell but I wouldn't give ally a penny of that transfer money, {The Ed039's Note - No mate I wouldnt, I have had my say on Ally, and I have said often enough, as much as Ally is a legend and will always be a legend, he is a poor manager)

Agree17 Disagree20

3 who was the dutch winger

SM

Agree1 Disagree2

I can do without the "quality" signings like Diouf and Weiss. "Quality", don't think so!

Agree6 Disagree7

Wesley Verhoek was the dutch winger and he is average. Neil Danns was another one, Leicester loaned him to Bristol City because he was mince.

Tomer Hemed has showed up well in La Liga 15 goals in 43 not a bad return at that level.

Agree2 Disagree1

For all you guys that disagree let's look at some of allys signings.

Faure, rubbish
Cribari, worse than rubbish
Goian, rubbish.
Greek guy, worse than rubbish.
Black, kid on thug, joke if a player.
Sheils, ok.
Matt McKay, can't comment, never seen him.
Aluko, good player.
Kyle, rubbish but can do a job in lower leagues
Sandaza, can't believe this guy was allys number 1 signing target in SPL.
Templeton, good player but no 3rd division team should be paying transfer fee of 750, 000.
Wallace ok nothing better, but shouldn't be playing 3rd division football at his age.

I know there are more players mainly dross.

Look at this list of players and be truthful with yourself, ally isn't a manager.

Agree14 Disagree9

Im not saying Allys a good manager he has much to learn hes clearly not the most tactically sound but in the Transfer Market i dont think he should be judged just yet hes had very limited funds his chairman was Craig Whyte and really just had to get bodys in at the start of this season id have preffered more Scottish Lads but beggars cant be choosers im still just gratefull I have a Team to Support!

was at the rangers mega store today
and asked the manager who will be
making the strips next season, and
he said he wasnt sure, but if it was
anyone he would say puma, cause
mike ashely owns them. what do u
think ed? {The Ed039's Note - I think either you are the "manager" are talking completed tosh because Mike Ashley has nothing to do with Puma apart from what he has in his stores)

Believable5 Unbelievable14

Mike Asheley does not own Puma! It is a publicly traded company. It had a German IPO in 1996 when it was floated by one half of the Dassler family (the other half of the Dassler family owned Adidas). {The Ed039's Note - Pretty much what I just said lol)

Agree11 Disagree2

OP - dont know what the concern is regarding our new strips, whoever offers us the best deal will make them

@1 correct but he has shares in puma
Mike Ashley, the entrepreneur behind Sports World, bought a three per cent stake in Puma's German rival Adidas for around £183 million last month. His company already owns Dunlop Slazenger, Kangol, Donnay and Lonsdale.
