A lot of my mates I go to the football with want derek mcinnes to be the next rangers manager for the start of next season,I continually ask them WHY because as far as I'm concerned stuart mccall should be made our next permanent manager now which would allow him to start planning for next season, there's nothing between mccall & mcinnes as managers and mccall should get the nod as he currently has the jersey,so to speak,I actually think mccall edges it over mcinnes for me as at motherwell he had much less of a budget than mcinnes and continually built new motherwell teams with no dough as he continually had to sell his best players at motherwell, this is my take on it anyway!

If he gets us up, it would be pretty tough on Macall to not be given the job on a permanent basis. My own preference would be MacInnes too,but if we get promoted from where we were, should anyone other than Macall have a look in? Who knows what this regime have in mind. Cathro, Macall even Magath, as long as we are playing winning football, preferably with style, I will support whoever is at the sharp end.

Hi Jr. Its Stuart McCall all the way for me,i Remember a few years ago I went to watch Plymouth v Sheffield united at home park he was assistant manager to Neil Warnock, McCall was out on the pitch before the game putting the players through their paces,i was standing near to the tunnel and on the way off the pitch he noticed my Rangers top, he came straight over and spent the next ten minutes talking about everything Rangers, he absolutely loves this club,i know that just because someone loves a club that it doesn't necessarily make them a good manager, but I've no doubts whatsoever that Stuart McCall is the right man for the job of taking Rangers back to the top, it might take a wee bit longer than a lot of fans want, but he will get us there,i just hope some fans will be patient, and allow him the time to build his own team.

McCall seems a great guy and must be a good coach as he has a proven track record but my only concern is that he may be too honest to a fault, a bit like Kevin Keegan and when things get difficult he might just jack it in. Hope I'm wrong but this is just my opinion.

Can any enlighten me here,I'm led to believe that it doesn't matter if we boycott buying the rangers replica jerseys from mike ashley's sports direct shops as any gers shirts he doesn't sell he hands back to the club and they have to pay him for them, this is shocking if true,so we're only hurting our club if we don't buy them if this indeed is the case

Maybe just me but why don't we tell him not to make any more than the team needs for next season. Or does he have the fact he has to make 100,000 tops every year without regard to sales etc.

The contact is set in stone unfortunately! A wee bird tells me he doesn't have rights over old strips, so buy strips from yesteryear lads!

Finally templton confirms what we all knew that mccoist was a failure of a manager didn't have a clue about tactics or match preparation. McCall really has got to the players and they clearly love playing for him already, he's already talking about European qualification good on him for having a bit of ambition let's get an result the morra and we can all enjoy some chocolate eggs.

You beat me to it blackout I was just about to post about it, at last a player confirms what we all knew! I'm sure the mccoist apologists will be on defending him,

Lot of people saying he should have spoken up while McCoist was there. but maybe that's why he wasn't getting a game before.Faure pretty much said same. players take big part of responsibility for poor performances, but good coaching can make average players competitive. and we obviously weren't getting that.
