£105 FOR THE EUROPA CUP GAMES. 35 QUID A GAME. ANYBODY THINK that's A BIT OVERPRICED. I SEE THE OTHER MOB ARE SELLING there's FOR 72 FOR THE 3 GAMES.

03 Sep 2018 19:20:00
Yeah it is a bit steep think £30 a game would have been a bit fairer.

03 Sep 2018 19:34:55
I don't think the return of euro nights should be undersold. Its been a long time and let's be honest it won't be hard to sell at that price i'd asume.

03 Sep 2018 19:39:56
Seems like a rip off, thankfully we're not that good or they'd be charging £50+ for Champs League. Taking fans loyalty for granted. £25 at the very most.

03 Sep 2018 20:07:19
We need to help the club this is our opertunity. I have limited budget but I certainly don’t begrudge puttin a little
Extra in if it might help . who cares what they pay . I wouldn’t pay 2 pence to see that kack over there.

03 Sep 2018 20:20:24
A pricey imo.

03 Sep 2018 20:25:46
They are selling there's for 72 because they can't always fill thier stadium simple.

03 Sep 2018 20:36:21
Nevermind what Celtic are charging.

If you don’t want to pay it other people will fill the seats no problem at all.

03 Sep 2018 20:40:22
Thankfully we’ not that good? OMFG. Absolute wahoo.

03 Sep 2018 20:48:37
Should not have charged more than the mhankis mob. DKs taking the piss.

03 Sep 2018 20:49:53
Reasonable price, we pay 48 for Celtic.

03 Sep 2018 20:55:47
Stop moaning about the prices pay or don’t pay plenty more fans than will gladly take them simples as for the other mob the difference there is their board don’t know how many of their fans would pay dearer.

03 Sep 2018 21:23:29
Email saying that’s a discount price, for 3 game package £105 too much imo.

04 Sep 2018 01:59:08
We need to get back into Europe, they cry.
We need the big bucks from Europe, they cry.
We need the glamour nights back, they cry.

Then we get there, the board, the manager, the players deliver our dreams and wishes. What's the response?

£35 is too dear, they whine.
DK is taking the mickey, they whine.
Lucky we're not good enough for the CL, they whine.

03 Sep 2018 22:53:07
I thought it wasn't bad, then read arsenal are only charging £20 a game, when a typical match day ticket costs about £90 The last time i looked. Fair enough the money on offer from the competition is just pocket change for them.

03 Sep 2018 23:59:57
When can you buy them, been on the web site and no info.

04 Sep 2018 05:07:52
Its an opportunity to put extra cash into the club. Yep its expensive but we are trying to build a team to challenge.

04 Sep 2018 06:27:55
Pricing all wrong.

04 Sep 2018 06:30:23
That wasn't the cry dutycalls!

04 Sep 2018 08:36:10
Folk who don’t like price don’t buy. Other clubs by cheaper because they can’t fill seats
Four largest crowds in Europa this season our four home games.

04 Sep 2018 13:39:24
I agree it's a bit steep but at the end of the day we're trying to run a business as well as a football club and the board know which ever the price they set we would fill our stadium 3 or 4 times over. Maybe if we got through the groups (big maybe i know) they might set a cheaper price for fans loyalty.

04 Sep 2018 14:01:46
Jyf, no, it wasn't mate. but for £35, I'll come when duty calls.

05 Sep 2018 14:04:03
If you don’t want them don’t pay there will be fans who can’t get the tickets that will happily take them.

05 Sep 2018 14:05:43
I think a lot of people who have season tickets won't pay it. But there will always be fans waiting to snap them up even at that price. I'm a bit shocked I was expecting 90 for the 3 GAMES for the Copland. I only know it's this price for my ticket. Is the main stand and Jardine stand the same price.

05 Sep 2018 14:06:37
C. f. bear - i think the other lots tickets are cheaper 'cause they don't turn up otherwise and they've got a large booking fee. whereas the price for us is the price.

05 Sep 2018 14:07:08
Personally not interested what that other mob are selling their europa league tickets for! Only interested in us and i for one, will be at ibrox, for all 3 of our home games,
in the europa league! Its absolutely superb, having european nights, back at ibrox!

05 Sep 2018 14:08:34
The unwashed couldn't sell out their last home game plus the dates of the fixtures are all before giro day. That's why the piggery is cheaper.
And after a terrible transfer window they need to get the fans back onside. A win over Rangers just papered over the cracks.

05 Sep 2018 14:11:08
It does seem steep, but then again we don't have the advantage at the moment of putting money into our club through buying shirts and merchandise etc. so our tickets cost £30 quid more than the mhanky mob - its not that big a deal, the clue was there though, each qualifying round the money went up and up so it didn't come as any surprise to me.

03 Sep 2018 18:36:57
So while listening to Talksport this morning I heard an interview with John Hartson regarding the match. He was practically messing himself with excitement as he hammered on about how poor the Gers where and when asked to who Rangers would be compared to if celtic were compared to Man City replied a mid to bottom end championship club, but it was his repeated comment about how he saw NO improvement in Rangers that actually made me smile, only because the last time the both clubs met (and we all remember the score) Septics starting eleven were exactly the same as yesterday but Rangers had made ten changes. celtic only managed one goal yesterday (it doesn't matter how many times they hit the woodwork or how many saves there was, THEY ONLY SCORED ONE GOAL) . Now if Hartson is correct and Rangers HAVEN'T improved at all the it can only mean one thing, celtic HAVE GOT WEEKER, it's the only explanation, John Hartson in his bitter little attempt to have another kick at the Gers has actually stated that they are about 4 goals weaker (only the ones IN the net count) so 👍.
The team is still learning and adapting and will only get better with time but they have already been through all that some time ago so probably won't get any better, we will catch them and sooner than they think.

03 Sep 2018 19:02:55
I am still happy with the effect sg has had. But am I alone in wishing he would stop blaming every poor result on the ref? (starting to sound like the mhanks) being honest i was disappointed to lose yesterday as much as the next bear but realistically the ref helped us avoid a severe hiding by not sending shagger off (which he should have done in all honesty.

03 Sep 2018 19:06:01
I'm confused are we WEEKER or weaker?

03 Sep 2018 19:11:14
Very odd post as they only scored 1 goal against Hamilton the previous week so have they closed the gap too? ENd of the day they beat us yet again and we offered nothing in midfield.

03 Sep 2018 19:45:01
Am I the only one that saw Ajer piling into McGregor's back with his knee as McG made the save?

03 Sep 2018 20:02:01
Bar72 ajer clearly tried to wrap his leg round McGregor s to keep him down. also agreed with Arthur d.

03 Sep 2018 20:08:18
Bar72 you're spot on . Ajer kneed magregor after he punched ball out. Hope if they're having a look at it they study it carefully.

03 Sep 2018 20:26:47
Aye he did but still a player of his experience should know better than to react. MacGregor going to be worth a lot a points to us this season could do without him being suspended for reckless stupidity. He did the same at motherwell last week. I'm not turning on our own players just feel that to get close to they mhanks 11 players on the pitch would b a decent help lol.

03 Sep 2018 20:48:21
Hartsons an person how he can tell that after one game v them beyond me rangers defence is good it was celtic v rangers defence yesterday midfield kept giving ball away and attack couldn’t hold onto it I’m sure it will be different next time but if beat them what’s he going to say then . the seasons played 9 months not one game let’s wait until then.

03 Sep 2018 21:04:06
Bar72 wtf mate naw wit saw was player falling/ pushed over that was accidental. McGregor was violent conduct witch carries a 3 game ban what McGregor will get.

04 Sep 2018 03:44:25
the noise of their self belief dwindling is there to sustain them against the impinging reality. their end is on the horizon.

03 Sep 2018 21:39:20
I would be worried the fact the goalie was the teams man of the match?

03 Sep 2018 22:03:51
I thought also that Ajer seemed clumsier than he shoukd have been - if you know what I mean.

03 Sep 2018 22:04:57
No, exactly what I saw also. MCGREGOR should still not retaliate though.
As for that so called sky referee, hope he is retired as a blind man can see Jack gets tripped.

03 Sep 2018 18:03:58
Think most positive yesterday, shagger showed he's best Goalie in Britain, not just Scotland.

03 Sep 2018 18:46:07
He had a stellar game yesterday although our next two league games are must wins and he will likely be suspended. He is worth a good few points to us this season in tight games but not if he is going to kick out like he did yesterday - I really hope it doesn't cost us.

SG said he should have been off so I cannot see how we can appeal it.

03 Sep 2018 19:12:49
McGregor had a great game yesterday but he isn’t then best keeper in Britain. De Gea is the best keeper in Britain.

03 Sep 2018 21:15:33
Have to agree with you Arthur D.
Although i rate allan mcgregor very highly, i also think de gea is the best keeper in britain!

03 Sep 2018 17:50:43
Still soo! Off yesterday's goal. When Cham or ham or spam or whatever scored no rangers player within 5 yards. Total shambles.

03 Sep 2018 22:09:08
Apparently young Ejaria could easily have caught him if he'd tracked back. I think the lad looked really tired and leggy and probably should have been subbed earlier. On another point I can't believe the reaction of some of our fans in calling for Steven to go. Are they for real? Ok we are 4 behind but had it not been for 2 last minute goals we would be level. Also I thought the guys looked knackered. Fine margins!

04 Sep 2018 09:17:33
Naw seeker your 7 behind! Concentrate on hearts Aberdeen and Hibs. that's who u will be fighting for 2nd place!

04 Sep 2018 12:25:59
Guaranteed you would have lost at Motherwell Lh88. Not sure about the sheep mind you as they tend to lie down to you (or sometimes you lie down to them if you think it would do us) lol.

04 Sep 2018 15:33:22
Guaranteed we would have lost at Motherwell, utter Shoite! Many times we lost at Motherwell since Brendan came in? Zero! Like I said, you concentrate on how many points hearts Hibs and Aberdeen get ahead of u, because that’s your challengers for 2nd place!

03 Sep 2018 17:08:28
Does anyone think that it might have been a mistake to release both Docherty and Holt on loan? With Rossiter, Dorrans, Couilbally and Murphy all injured we've been hit hard in midfield. I would have kept Docherty who might have relished Sunday's game. In my view Holt never let us down and was a decent player. Also, why didn't McCrorie play as the holding midfielder on Sunday? Too many questions, I know!

03 Sep 2018 17:40:16
Tbh we needed better than those 2 in the midfield if we are going to compete with them. Gerrard has done a great job addressing areas in which we were very weak but midfield is still not sorted. Was surprised we never went for Mulumbo before they got him.

03 Sep 2018 21:35:48
Erajea was blowing out of his arse after and hour shouldve been subbed earlier that’s why he stopped running for goal he was out on his feet needs to make subs earlier took jack before Erajea when u could see he was knackd.

04 Sep 2018 13:03:00
Think Docherty would have been useful to have around however the club obviously felt it would be better for his development and therefore out asset for him to be playing regularly.

03 Sep 2018 16:36:20
Why did no one man mark Scott Clown yesterday? He was an out ball continually.

03 Sep 2018 17:00:37
He sits deep amost as a third centre back. We didn't press high because of thursday the players were shattered. Ibrox will be a different game.

03 Sep 2018 17:47:22
We were totally overrun in midfield and outhought. Ejaria and Kent perhaps overhyped as they are young and still learning their trade although Ejaria looked good against the Russians. I think Stevie G realised were still a long way behind the mhankis and that's why he set up with such a defensive formation. Hope this Albanian guy can beat a man as, despite having two wingers, Tav is the only guy we have that can beat a man and put a cross in.

03 Sep 2018 18:28:13
Tav's crosses are murder usually well overhit.

03 Sep 2018 20:15:50
Cris is totally right we were shattered . how many teams do you hear of . major teams who come back from a massive journey away then lose to a lesser team never mind the Manks. I think it will work in our favour and only make the team work like demons to take the smirk from their coupons . If any of the team including Stevie saw the goings on after the final whistle they now know what it’s all about . and will vow never to let it happen orbput our fans thru that again . Rodgers should be ashamed for condoning brown and griffis.

03 Sep 2018 21:19:25
Don't agree with you whatsoever DEEB! Tavernier's deliveries are usually terrific! I think you've been watching his brother marcus tavernier's deliveries, instead of our captain james tavernier's deliveries!

03 Sep 2018 14:43:30
Anyone here remember a simpler time when we went a whole season playing 4-4-2 against everyone including the mhankies and still won everything? Never would Sir Walter or Graeme Souness have played one up front, I remember games where we played 4 forwards and 2 (proper box to box midfielders-Stuart McCall a prime example! ) but unless a man had been sent off there was not just one up front especially against them! These times may feel like a long time ago but they are not a distant memory, yes the style of the game may have changed but the aim is still the same-score more than them. it's simple and yesterday proved whilst we've come a long way we still have a long way to go. usually yesterday would've been a whitewash and these forums would be in uproar folk threatening each other's dugs the lot 😜but here we are the best fans in the world gracious in a defeat that could have been a lot worse! I can't help but think if we hadn't just got in amongst them a little bit more yesterday and niggled away that wee bit more we could've got the point or in a dreamland scored on a break away, big Lafferty with a belter into the top corner lol Yesterday wasn't the drubbing we have sadly become accustomed too and yes it was a defeat but the signs are there fellow bears 🇬🇧 Coulibaly was a big miss but we can't rely on a single player, yesterday may have been a defeat but it was also a step in the correct direction. I think the next Old Firm game at Ibrox will be a lot different and let's see how the smellies like it when they're launched at from the first whistle🇬🇧🔵⚪️🔴💙❤️.

03 Sep 2018 15:16:11
Nonsense, Smith often played a 4-5-1. I remember seeing us play them with 1 up front and that one being McCulloch.

03 Sep 2018 15:27:31
Smith loved a 1 striker formation. I remember fans crying out for us to go 2 up top.

03 Sep 2018 16:03:35
We played one up top under Smith all the way to a European Cup final.

03 Sep 2018 18:37:32
Smith played with no actual striker at times. Times have changed and now most teams are three at the back with wing backs. Move on. We were well and truly outplayed. naïve in not playing to the whistle and lucky they forgot their shooting boots. Mind you we are obviously better than last year and still in Europe so I think things will only get better. The league is asque right now and will look much better come Christmas.

03 Sep 2018 14:38:20
just want to say to all those "supposed" fans who are crying for Stevie Gerrard to go,

I have never read or heard such abject DRIVEL in all my life supporting our magnificent club.

All of you, GO FIND SOMETHING WORTHWHILE to do with your sad sad lives.

03 Sep 2018 15:14:43
Totally agree can't imagine any true fans calling for good head given what he's done so far I know we've had a poor start to season but there's a long way to go.

03 Sep 2018 15:16:35
haven't seen 1 single fan suggest this.

03 Sep 2018 15:28:01
Who has said that? I haven't seen one single post suggesting SG goes.

03 Sep 2018 15:57:49
it was mentioned on the News now page, with twitter comments.

03 Sep 2018 15:59:55
They are on twitter accounts of the newspapers I've saw 2 or 3 but am sure it's timothys up to no good tbh.

03 Sep 2018 16:25:01
I've read plenty posts and threads disappointed with the result and tactics but I've never saw any suggesting SG should go. Probably obsessed Timothy's.

03 Sep 2018 17:08:20
Surely Cetic fans would want him to stay given yesteday's game.

p. s. What does this have to do with the discussion?
". can't imagine any true fans calling for good head. "

03 Sep 2018 22:32:38
Excuse me? Good what?

03 Sep 2018 14:14:11
Would just like to give a special mention to my haters who slated me 12 years ago when i said Gareth McAuley would be a Rangers player, So glad its now to came to fruition over a decade later which can now silence the majority.

03 Sep 2018 15:04:15
You can seriously remember saying that 12yrs ago🤨 I hope this small victory was well worth the long assed wait you’ve had to be proven correct lol I bet you been sat waiting with your finger hovering over enter waiting on us signing him🤭😁😆😂🤣 Sorry bro I couldn’t resist ☺️☺️ 🇬🇧🔵⚪️🔴.

03 Sep 2018 14:03:08
24hrs. on I have had time to reflect on yesterdays performance, I think a lot of the players have to shoulder some of the blame, stage fright I think they call it, passess going astray not enough movement or courage on the ball, maybe the russia trip took it out of them, I'm disappointed, but Not downhearted. I think we will improve, unless they splash the cash in January I don't think they will improve. So here's hoping we go on another unbeaten run.
Let's Go.

03 Sep 2018 16:35:57
I can see it MJG, going on a run and being top of the league by the time we play them on the 29th. Here's hoping.

03 Sep 2018 22:34:19
Not stage fright . but 4.500 miles long flight.

04 Sep 2018 01:33:42
MCAULEY a blue nose that's good enough. Might put bit of steel between defense and midfield.

03 Sep 2018 13:52:37
The outcome of yesterdays game had four scenarios before kick off 1. Victory unlikley 2. draw . possobile 3 defeat likley 4 defeat/ narrow very likley. being realistic not a great result but not a disaster remember when you climb a mountain you don't clap hands halfway up you may not reach the top this team will reach the summit, takes time skill perseverence, and then we can all clap hands remember patieve is a virtue.

03 Sep 2018 14:33:01
It had 3 actually. Win, draw or lose.

03 Sep 2018 13:46:52
I think SG and his staff really missed a trick yesterday. That mob had struggled in the previous 4 or 5 game and I felt there was a doubt in their mind 're form and back room stuff and all our new signing we had made. We should have went for the throat and played the high press and not gave them a minute on the ball even for the first 20 odd min but once again due to the tactics and sitting off of them we showed that we where scared of them and aloud them to build up their confidence again .
Let's not be kidded that should have been 4 or 5 nothing yesterday that was prob the easiest game that they have played all season.
Yes we r a new team and had some key players out but I still think we have the players in our squad to hurt them but need our management team to adopt the tactics to allow them to do that.

03 Sep 2018 15:18:15
Ever crossed your mind that we may not have had enough in the tank to play a high pressing game after Thursday night? Incidentally we lost the goal on the break . to many men to high up the park .

03 Sep 2018 17:23:11
Been saying that all day steak pie. If we had played high yes we possibly scored a couple but we would have lost a lot more. Look back at Motherwell Last week . We never had the energy to come out our own half in the second half so not surprised by yesterday. Break has come at a good time.

03 Sep 2018 13:34:03
Why sign Mcaulay when we could have got caulker for nothing? One has possible sell-on value and one doesn't? Bizarre.

03 Sep 2018 13:55:46
Djab. Great signing, for cover. You need to ask why Dundee effectively sacked caulker .

03 Sep 2018 13:56:38
Djab, a lot of clubs unfortunately won’t touch Caulker and the rumour is Dundee wanted him off the books? The lad has problems and I personally wish him all the best in his life and career ✌️.

03 Sep 2018 14:01:00
Nothing bizarre about it. We also got McAuley for nothing for a start, and he isn't bringing with him the problems that Caulker would. Caulker has well documented personal issues and could be a major disruption in the dressing room, something a new, young team needs like a spate of broken legs. McAuley, however, is a highly experience professional whose influence on the other centre backs will only be good, and who is still playing international football. He is also a lifelong supporter, which always helps. Not every player has a sell-on value, it's utterly naive to think that way.

03 Sep 2018 16:15:02
Djab we got McCauley for nothing just his wee to pay or was caulker going to play for nothing.

03 Sep 2018 12:39:10
Positives :
1. McGregor is fantastic
2. Defensively we can handle them
3. Gerrard now knows what he's up against

Let me stress these negatives that are about to follow are my opinion not facts, please treat them that way.

Negatives:
1. Tav again at fault, caught far to high up the pitch and should be back in RB defending when it comes to Nitcham at the back post.
2. Morelos can't score against them, granted he didn't have many chances but how long are we going to persist with a guy who can't do it against them?
3. Tactic's imo weren't far off being right but find it weird we set up for the counter and played 2 strikers? Fair enough Lafferty was wide but is he a wide man? Surely we would of been better having him upfront on his own holding it up and pacey wingers getting up and beyond him
4. We didn't press enough and gave them so much time to walk onto us

This being said I feel Ibrox will be a totally different game and I'm confident we will beat them there. We learn we move on, let's go 💙.

03 Sep 2018 13:10:43
I don't share your optimism at the moment. We had very little creativity so what makes you think we'll beat them at Ibrox,?

03 Sep 2018 13:12:19
To critise morelos is a bit unfair we cleary had a game plan yesterday and no striker would have scored against them as we sat back most of the game and no chances created for him.
For me our midfield lacks creativity hopefully couliabaly and grazda will make a difference when fit.

03 Sep 2018 13:19:11
@Lanzarote I think we will press them from the word go at Ibrox and they will make mistakes and we will get in, also think we will flood the box with crosses for Lafferty and he will score, I agree with what your saying we don’t look very creative, hopefully we get Dorrans back in for creation?

03 Sep 2018 13:20:16
@craig Ano what your saying mate and maybe I’m a bit harsh I just feel he can’t do it against them, I feel we need someone with pace up there to terrorise them.

03 Sep 2018 13:43:28
Rh9 your spot on about the striker with pace unfortunately we do not currently have one hopefully this mite change in future.
If we where to play 2 wingers with pace candelias and middleton with lafferty supporting morelos and attack them i think you would see morelos is good enough and would score against them.
He just didn't have the support yesterday and our team droped to far back.

03 Sep 2018 16:32:43
Rh9

Totally agree, SG has lived a total season in 10 weeks, what a learning curve!

Watch this space after International break.

03 Sep 2018 19:12:37
i don't understand criticising one striker and not the other or did i miss a lafferty goal. i'm not the manager but i thought he would have played one each half so we had a fresh pair of legs on the field at all times. but hey ho that's why i'm on the armchair and no in the dugout.

03 Sep 2018 11:35:00
scream it we need a strong centre mid that can dictate play. we have to many players with only one side to thier game. tav good forward bad defending. jack good defending can't hold ball and dictate play always with backward pass. ejaria skillfull but lightweight. arfield done nowt . coulibaly injury prone? halliday a fighter but squad player.

03 Sep 2018 12:36:57
That’s Coulibaly mate. He would have made a difference yesterday.

03 Sep 2018 11:34:50
What’s happening with Jordan Rossiter? Is he still alive?

03 Sep 2018 12:38:18
Just hope the lad comes back fit and ready to go, we need a big squad when your in so many competition's.
Yes the guy has been fragile, but let's hope he can get fit and help the team.

03 Sep 2018 13:10:34
Ive gave up on Rossiter to be honest.

03 Sep 2018 11:12:42
RANGERS, I still f#@king love you! Always have and always will, this negativity everywhere is beyond a joke! That was only a one nil, ONE nil, not the usual 4/ 5 nil, progress has been made, first defeat, be honest deep down it was expected as soon as the fixture list came out with them being at home, a good decent run now with us playing more at home, the players all gelling and us feeling good again and we'll take them at Ibrox, this leagues still ours to win, it's far too early to throw in the towel!

03 Sep 2018 11:58:33
Well said Daz, the team will get better. We went through 8 qualifying matches unbeaten and are in Europa League. It was always going to be hard going to that midden after Russia. The game was yesterday and it’s done, onwards and upwards.

03 Sep 2018 12:20:06
Yes mate defo, the momentum wasn't really with us at all, three away matches in the league, tough ones at that, fair enough we should have got more out of the first two but we didn't, we need a good run at home and take the odd away result, we will definitely come good, especially with the other players we haven't even seen yet, who knows, this Grezda could be awesome and be the game changer we're crying out for.

03 Sep 2018 13:30:06
Tbf daz yes it was only 1-0 but that was at least as one sided as anyou game the last 2 years could easily have been 5 or 6 n we could have had no complaints. Changed the system at Motherwell it cost us changed our playing style yesterday it cost us. Why did we not just press them high like we've been doing and at least go down fighting that was an embarassing performance.

03 Sep 2018 10:52:28
Do Kent and Ejaria have clause in the contract that they must play. Don't think Kent has been that great so tar and Ejaria posted missing at times. Soundly like to think that they will be i the starting 11 even when they have been poor.

05 Sep 2018 14:03:09
we need to pay Liverpool cash if they don’t play, we actually need to pay more cash if they don’t play in Europe or Old Firms. They will continue to cost us games but as long as they go back to Liverpool better plays with experience so they can sell them for a profit then everybody is happy, yeah?

03 Sep 2018 09:18:38
Morning Bears. Having had time to reflect since yesterday it isn't the end of the world. A disappointing performance for sure, but it ended up only 1-0 (should have been more) . We did have one or two chances (Morelos, Tavernier, Jack) and if one had gone in who knows? Only 5 points from 4 games but the manky mob dropped 32 points last season so there are many, many points to be won and lost. SG will have to use a big squad to contend with playing in Europe and at home. We have Couilbally and Grezda to come in and I hope Dorrans and Rossiter can at last get involved this season. Lee Wallace might be needed to if injuries and suspensions take their toll. Enjoy the rest now lads and if we can get three wins on the trot in the league we'll be on the way. Final note, the manky mob were nothing special. Broon (again) was made to look good by giving him oceans of space. Remember they bombed out of the CL qualifiers and didn't exactly thrash a poor Lithuanian side. I think Hearts might pose a bigger challenge than the sheep and Lemon's green and whites.

03 Sep 2018 10:24:46
Nothing special but still dispatched your world beaters without breaking a sweat! And u never mind CL and Lithuanian teams! The poor Lithuanian team who gave us a better game than your lot! Just admit u had all got your hopes up of actually doing something but the champs put u back in your box! And your rite about hearts by the way, u’ll be lucky to finish 3rd this season lol.

03 Sep 2018 10:38:47
Lh88. You are clearly still a bit obsessed by the mighty Glasgow Rangers otherwise why would you be trawling on our site? You won 1-0, so what? Gerrard will get us back on top alright. There is a long way to go until the end of the season. We didn't play well at all yet you still only managed one goal. Happy trawling.

03 Sep 2018 12:00:34
Celtic won't play better than than whereas we will, just a matter of time till the team settles into their rhythm.

03 Sep 2018 12:22:47
you do have to laugh at the unwashed. not a peep out of them for the last 2-3 weeks and 1 win and they are back here running their mouths

a very poor performance from us gives them the victory and that's enough for their fans to gloss over crumbling and playing boyata after his actions towards clubs/ fans, the return of the biscuit tin, the CL failure, dembele slating club and manager before forcing a move away

but hey its all rosey now bcos they got a win.

03 Sep 2018 12:32:15
Lh88 you won yesterday should’ve been more but rangers my friend will be challenging in next few years so y will probaly be on this site more.

03 Sep 2018 16:44:50
One win! We’ve annihilated u since u managed to crawl up from the lower leagues! We’ve not anywhere pal! We just let you do what we all know u’ll do, and that’s bum urselfs up something rotten. then we sit back as the champions walk all over u once again laughing our heads off lol. and I cannot believe there’s some saying oh well it was only one nil and not 4 or 5! Dear oh dear times have indeed changed! Happy u only got beat one nil! Quite sad really lol. and jbf500 despite all those problems u list we still stroll to yet another easy victory! Imagine what will happen when we really get going haha!

First post guys. Just wanted to put a point of view across. SG has had quite a learning curve. 13 games, 1 defeat. He's endured arguably a seasons experience in 10 weeks. 8 Euro qualifiers undefeated, 2Draws and 1win and 1 defeat away from home in the league. Player problems with injury and discipline.

He now gets a breather with his staff to analyse what has to be done between now and January. I have every confidence he will learn, adapt and change.

No matter what any other supporter in Scotland says, NOT ONE of them would have believed he could have made such a start all things considered

Fellow Bears, remember it's not how you start, it's how you Finnish.

And a message to te other side of the city, "you must really be taking RFC seriously if you do a lap of honour after beating us. sometimes life comes back to bite you".

03 Sep 2018 09:52:49
Agree, if we're being honest this has probably been a better start to the season than we could have hope for.

Still think SG got the tactics wrong yesterday though. I've heard fans say that Walter set up in a similar fashion at Parkhead during the 90s and we would frustrate them and then sneak a winner.

That's true but Walter could rely on guys like Hateley, McCoist and Negri to take any chance the team created. Morelos is a very useful player but whenever he gets a chance against Celtic you would never put money on him taking it.

03 Sep 2018 12:12:23
Agree Geronimo, with all your points, but SG was a winner on the park, and I’m confident he will have taken yesterday too heart personally.

After the emotion dies down I’m sure he and his team will adjust the plan.

“Quietness and Confidence Shall be our Strength “

Last time I checked they give out the prizes in May.

Morning everyone, I'm still on a major downer after yesterday's game. At the time I didn't think it was a foul on Jack leading to the goal but now I've seen it again it was a clear foul Rodic trailing leg trips Jack, that said I did think we had a few players hiding during the game Barisic, Ejaria, Arfield, Kent. Have to be much stronger in these games. Yes it's been a hectic tough start to the season. The players should enjoy and use the break to come back hungrier and kick on I'm sure we will have a fantastic season. c'mon us.

After a wee bit of time to reflect on yesterday's defeat I can only hope Steven has learned some valuable lessons. I do understand the Russia trip was a real hindrance, but we all wanted to go through and that was very important! It was just the performance yesterday and the manner of the defeat as we simply either bottled it and never even turned up? It was a little concerning that the boss never changed anything till late in the match?
Anyway onwards and upwards and I still have faith in Stevie and the team! 🇬🇧.

03 Sep 2018 08:31:05
I really think Stevie just took one on the chin yesterday . due to the circumstance.

03 Sep 2018 08:36:14
Also mega hats. Off to the bears at parkhead. the bile they had to endure was disgusting being not allowed to leave till the home support and team rubbed it in Big style. shows you the class of the unwashed . I really wish our support had just sat back down and applauded. that would have put them in their place . but sadly it’s not the western Scotland way . Brenda must be really proud if his captain and the rat . then again it’s prob his mindset.
