I hope the last couple of days shenanigans by Whyte and co aren't going to dominate discussions on here.

Last year I used to dread coming on here to read about them, the sleazedales, the Fatman and the gardener.

The last few months have been a breath of fresh air. Back to talking about our team and manager in a positive light. Being genuinely excited by the future.

I hope we get back to speaking about the team and players and don't let these clowns and crooks overshadow this.

I agree northger, the banter site should be for the playing side with the finances site used to incorporate everything to do with the non playing factors that are about our club.

BIGWULL, I'll give you my thoughts on the finances page later today.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Sep 2015 08:22:17
I can only assume that a very low percentage of the people on these pages me included have a very very limited idea of financial law. So I for one will not comment or speculate on finance. I am enjoying for the first time in a while enjoying watching Glasgow Rangers .

Some of you moan about players not getting into Scotland squads and then we witness the utter contempt Rangers have for Scotland with this. Withdrawing a player who has played 28 minutes all season in one sub appearance. I on't know if Strachan or any of them have any bitterness towards Rangers, I very much doubt it but if that is how you react I wouldn't blame them.

Raith said of their own player chosen, a first team regular by the way."He will fly home with the rest of the squad on Saturday afternoon. We are delighted that Craig is receiving international recognition, and whilst we are without his services for the crucial match with Rangers, our loss is Scotland’s gain." That attitude clearly doesn't seem present at Ibrox for the "vital" 28 minute appearing Hardie and you wonder why the whole of Scottish football has no time for you? So kindly drop it when you are next about to moan about a squad, chances are you'd pull whomever it is out anyway.

Gas our club was told young hardie would not be playing the 2nd game,so why leave him abroad, get him back he might get game time for us.

05 Sep 2015 16:17:13
That's right Gaz, we can't have big bad Rangers looking out for themselves, FC Sporting Integrity will be right onto that eh? there seems to be this idea we have to kow tow to the rest of Scottish football just because we are Rangers, those days are gone, as Warbs said it's all about the Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree1

05 Sep 2015 17:02:51
scotjo my point, again you missed it, was folk in here moaned when certain Rangers players didn't get picked for international squads then the club withdraws players in them, doesn't it sound a bit contradictory? And if you are just looking out for Rangers then why moan when they aren't picked, isn't that ideal? No possibility of injury, more rest, make your minds up please but be consistent. Hardie got 20 minutes today, he was always going to get game time to prove a point, he came on one minute after the 5th goal, whew, money well spent, flying him home just for that eh?

Can anyone who is up on legal matters explain in plain English what the possible rammifications are of these arrests of these bandits!
Can they be sued, especially the Duff & Phelps lowlife?
If they are successfully sued for plenty, who would get the money, the old one creditors or could it be used by Messrs King, Gilligan & Murray to buy new players in the future!
Could the SPFL/ SFA be sued for their obvious lack of due diligence on Whyte, Green et al?
Just asking!

Believable0 Unbelievable2

03 Sep 2015 18:04:33
Did Dave King even speak out once against Craig Whyte while part of his board?

As for the SPFL/ SFA being sued for their obvious lack of due diligence on Whyte etc, no chance they would claim to have been duped just like the man who started the chaos at our club, David Murray.

And the idea that most Rangers fans would have just accepted any decision saying that Whyte etc were not fit and proper is absurd.

Sorry.

Any Celtic fan should be able to tell you. A high number have shown a terrific understanding of financial and legal legislation. They are your best bet mate.

I'm no legal expert, but I would expect shareholders from oldco would be able to sue d&f. Oldco itself probably the same and could end up costing d&f tens if not hundreds of millions. So let's hope, but as I say I'm no legal expert.

I'm not very well informed about all the court shenanigans that's circulating about Whyte and Green etc.

Is it possible there could be any serious ramifications for Rangers? e.g Loss of assets, massive fines etc.

Probably being extremely stupid but I'd appreciate an insight

there is one thing the claim by law financial proves that rangers own ibrox and murray park because the claim made is for the money raised by the sale of all the club assets to green

BIGWULL, I would not jump the gun as green has a charge to answer under Section 190 of the Companies Act. This charge only applies to him and relates to company formation, possibly on information provided by whyte.

BUGWULL. Surely the club, as an asset itself, cannot have any assets.

My understanding was that Charles Green purchased the assets of the old company when it was liquidated. These assets included the club. So my understanding is that the club cannot have assets but rather the company.

"i did not need any proof it was only for doubters to see for there self"
Fair enough, but I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that your posts on subjects such as these tend to come across as someone using ifs, buts and maybes, mixed in with a some rumours and half truths to create an argument to convince yourself that all is rosie in the Garden of Dking.

Question. Will this case prove who actually has the deeds?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

03 Sep 2015 09:42:35
Finty

Only if those asking the questions deem it necessary to prove the case and the ill depend (a) if PF decides to proceed and (b) what the case actually is. eg
If the case against White is did he con someone, if he did not use the deeds as security or part of the deal the deeds might be irrelevant.
Even if it is part of the case it might not be disclosed in an open manner.

I would love to know more about the organised crime bit and Summers role in this -ignoring facts is not acceptable when dealing with the stock exchange

Does anyone on this forum have experience of the Rangers Supporters Trust? I purchased £250 of shares back in February to try and help the club like thousands others. Several weeks ago (June/July) I made contact via my logged in account on the website to ask if it would be possible to cancel my membership and refund my money due to at that time, difficult personal circumstances. I have sent this request via the website twice now and have not had a reply or phone call. As it happens, my circumstances have stablised and I don't need to cash in the shares for now but I am very disappointed and angry at the complete lack of response. Has anyone else experienced this?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

doiger it worries me a bit that both rangers first and the supporters trust appear to be making empires and good jobs for the people involved without any accounability or information certainly rangers first email u to let u know they are purchasing shares etc or to vote on resolutions etc but there is no info of operating costs certainly if u wanted to sell your shares u should have been entitled to do so and should jhave received a reply
