does anyone know if accounts were submitted in time and if not does this mean we a another year later to play in Europe also though ally said he would know his budget for next season by end of this week

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Back to square one with the euro ban i'm afraid. Might not seem a big deal just now but if according to plan we are back in SPL this time in 2015/16 and finish champions (being optimistic lol) or in euro places then we can't compete in europe. Also if we were to win any of the cups in the next 3 years the same applies, no europe. Personally I think its an absolute farce that the club and everyone connected with the club have been constantly telling the support the club is doing ok and there's 21 million in the bank yet they can't put a set of accounts in by this deadline.

There's absolutely no doubt now, there is something seriously wrong they don't want us to see. There can be no other explanation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe they are waiting for sponsorship money to come in to make the balance look a bit better, hence the stalling! But I think you are correct in assuming something is very wrong!

Agree0 Disagree0

@1/Spot on mate. As for the £21m? Not a chance of that much. The double digit nonsense should have had the alarm bells ringing.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's been said many times that European football is essential. You would have thought that after all the talk, it would have been a priority to ensure that as soon as possible. This delay is at best grossly incompetent. It looks worse than that though. My instincts tell me that the financial position is so bad that accounts can't be produced without showing the fans money has gone. Their only hope is another batch of season ticket money and they can play merry go round with it. Now who do we know who's good at that?

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ If the sponsorship money actually exists! Green has previous for fiction.

I wish everyone would pipe down with there theory's on what is going on at the minute, we will find out in due course. let's concentrate on trying to build up and move on instead of trying to kidney punch everyone and anyone (including mccoist & smith) at any given opportunity. too many of you's were taken in by green then are on this saying how much you knew, at the end of the day we all know f. k all, so let's wait til the fact are laid bare before we start the witch hunt. I for one will be enjoying tomorrow as the first step on the road to better things. come September, let's see who is and isn't on the players books before we start slating policy's and paper talk.

Sickofreadingyoursh#tebear

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The warnings on Green were everywhere. I seen Sheffield Utd fans on here and what they said has come true! Were you taken in? Enjoy tomorrow by all means but remember questions need to be asked. Losing £1m per month and you expect signings? Players need to go before more wages are added.

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw the warnings, maybe you did too but there are too many on here that are spouting there venom when by all means they were right behind Charles after his charm offences.1m per month etc etc, facts are more my kind of think mate, as I said let's see what happens come September then people's speculation can either be confirmed or denied.

Sickofreadingyoursh*tebear

Agree0 Disagree0

@2- If you can read my posts back you will see I have maintained a suspicious stance from day one. yet I still purchased my ST. Not because I believed in Green but because I believed in my club and love my club. I am sad to say that this last year or so has tainted all within Ibrox and it's time for tough love from the fans. I'm disgusted that this mob claim to represent or be the same as me. They are not, they are a cancer, intentionally or unintentionally it doesn't matter. I and others are entitled to spout whatever we like on here regarding our club as can you. This is a place where we can debate and actually feel listened to.
You should consider changing your name to 'headburiedinthesandbear'

What's happened to the million pound crossbar challenge Mr green trumpeted at the start of the season? Is it to go ahead Saturday or Monday as they are the last chances to do it?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes it will go ahead this Saturday hence the plethora of marketing on rangers official.

Tv is reporting that 10 teams are set to resign and join spl2. However, they might increase it to 12. Please please please don't give into the spl and its corrupt set up. Let the clubs abandon the sfl. Let the spl spread its litle money between its 22 or 24 clubs and the sfl can keep its own tv deal without being blackmailed into handing over the rights.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is this the same"corrupt set up" you were apart of til recently and couldn't have given a jot about the SFL?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 20:29:28
Could somebody with a lot more up top than I please try and explain to me what this whole league split is all about and which organisations has all the power as regards eufa.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Looks like sp1/sp2 professional element of scottish game

SFL semi-professional and amatuers.

Painfull loss of 12+ clubs, folding or amalgamation hibs/hearts.

03 May 2013 19:50:11
The Dave King story is a diversion story only. The news breaks of ten clubs resigning from SFL. Jabba puts out King nonsense.
The SFA could not allow South African tax avoidance money into the club.
He was a Whyte Director for some months up until admin. The SFA already told him not fit and proper for five years.

End of.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did King not resign before it hit the fan with whyte?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wot total drivel u post m8. King warned us of white from day one, invested 20 mil in gers and apologised to all off scotland for the mess some
:, people involved in our club did to the game, r u mad? Do u not understand who we need to come back to the club and save us?, I personally pray for news that dave king has bought wotever is left, and I know he is a real bluenose, as is his family, tommyb

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ Back and save us? Time for fans to take the lead surely? Stop waiting for some rich guy, no one will put cash in to the club in it's current shape.

Maybe he's a lot closer to Whyte + Green than you think. Why were they all together in Switzerland while the CVA was being put together. Wouldn't trust the man with a penny of my money.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 20:57:15
A question to my fellow bears for debate, ten clubs want to start a SPL2 with Rangers being described by them as irrelevant.
How does this affect our TV rights that the SPL demanded at the start of this season and if invited do we want to go with them. Personally I would tell them to get stuffed. PB

Believable0 Unbelievable0

03 May 2013 21:41:37
What a threat! Easy to say when we're NOT invited. I'm sick of hypothetica bravado. Why can't we stand like men and just take the whole thing on the chin. When we're winners we're winners. Let's not be so pathetic when we're down.

Agree0 Disagree0

There will be no invite.
The 12 clubs r sorted ten plus Dundee plus promoted club from div2.

Particular thistle promoted to spl1.

All decided.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 great post! Shame people of the ilk of the OP can't see that! They are the type who think everyone is against them and believe that their old club and subsequent new club can do what ever they like without any consequence!

Well done @1 good to see that all rangers supporters aren't pathetic wastes of space like the OP

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope if any invite is extended to rangers it is turned down straight away as we will fight our way back to the top without any shortcuts

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad we aren't invites. Where is all the money coming from to cover the extea teams and new set up. I wonder what will happen when the spl goes into administration.

Where's Neil Patey to tell us there's £22m in the bank and the plan is to deliver a loss for three years up until entry to spl and break even? And £1m loss per month is fine. I need that reassurance. Can Neil advise us about accounting regulations etc,. Are they late? Or what? Where's STV with Neil? And i'd like his opinion on the massive share price drop thanks.
Is Neil part of the two year conspiracy to dupe fans?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I am getting completely p. off with patey, for some reason the world seems to think he is the only guy with any knowledge of football finance and therefore has the right to constantly spout off but still say the same thing everyone already has been made aware off.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe he is in on the scam

Possibility of Rangers being invited into 'SPL2' mooted after SFL clubs sign letter signalling intention to quit the existing division (required 66% signatures achieved). I have no personal wish for this to happen but it was stated today, at the meeting in Hamilton, that the subject should at least be considered. Background was that each club would look for an incentive from Rangers to do so thus giving each team a financial boost. More madness, I know.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No possibility of Rangers being invited, they have already stated this

Agree0 Disagree0

On rangers, the SFL reply was a categorical "irrelevant" Jabba and STV tried to spin out of it.

If the top professional elite clubs in SFL leave en mass, David Longmuir will most certainly have to resign. It's a huge vote of no confidence in him and proves he was not representing the SFL but his own agenda.

Agree0 Disagree0

SFL rule 15. 2 allows clubs to leave SFL if they are joining SPL. No need for 66% or two years notice. That red herring was Jabba/ STV deceiving fans again. Why are Rangers fans always being duped? Answer= to get them to part with money. Why? Because Directors and management need a millionaire lifestyle, Ally £20k a week, junkets to Panama,. bonuses, expenses, range rover or Mercedes sir?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 18:05:52
Why do we not start being honest with ourselves (I will be there through thick and thin, we don't do walking away, we are the people). I remember back in the eighties we had 5,000 at a home game against Brechin City. We won 1–0 on 23 September 1981. I told all the Tims at work I was there and I am sure you did too to save yourselves any embarrassment. Remember the good old days under the Marlboro's. We were voting with our feet and our heart not scared to say NO I AM NOT PUTTING UP WITH THIS CIRCUS. What has changed. Rangers people are telling us to support the team. They are not Rangers people they are spivs (McCoist, Smith, Green and Murray) taking us to the cleaners. The sooner we boycott the better and let these spivs know how we really feel. If we don't we will never get back to where we should be

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hear Hear, well said.
Don't listen to perception peddlers like DJ telling you to bang yir cash in there. He's wrong.
It's all perception management I'll wager a season ticket DJ speaks directly to Jabba and receives the official party line to state on radio. They've all been part of duping fans, including webmasters thinking they were helping the club but actually helping spivs to dupe fans and get away with it.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 19:21:07
According to old Leggo season ticket prices are to be frozen next season.

Now I'm not saying this will be true as he gets most things wrong but if it is is it because the board think thousands of fans are planning to boycott next season. especially if there was to be a price hike?

Agree0 Disagree0

100% agree OP.
Still plenty bears who have their hands over their ears shouting "la la la la la not listening" though

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is Leggat leaking news from inside Ibrox about ST prices? Why is the club not capitalising on a bit of good press like this? Is it because it's bull and can be denied by the club later?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 17:52:17
Leaked document on bbc, from Greens people?, very interesting reading. I always thought it strange that the press attacked Green only after he criticised Ally. Has Ally got too much clout inside Ibrox? He is only the manager.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ally McCoist is not Rangers nor is Walter Smith. They are both tainted by their associations with SDM, Whyte and Green the biggest enemies RFC ever had.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 17:42:27
Surely McCoist has got to walk after this latest condemnation of his managerial and coaching abilities.

He is never, nor was he ever going to leave with his held high but how can he maintain his "best for Rangers" stance in the face of overwhelming evidence and public opinion.

We need a proven manager that can get the best out of the calibre of players we've got and that we can sign, Rangers should running riot against the opposition we have struggled against and even lost to! We cannot afford to let McCoist sign anymore journeymen even on free transfers, today we are linked with Bauban and Gomis, how much will they want? why do we need more midfielders when our defence is a joke? if we had 4 decent defenders we wouldn't need 10 men behind the ball, we should be signing younger players and coaching them properly and at least trying to play football with a bit of style.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I firmly believe its not Craig Whytes name on the deeds but SDMs.
I believe the whole thing is a scam to dump £124m plus £47m in debt and EBT liability.
If it is, people will go to prison.

The exact auditable trail of who owns ibrox and Murray Park is a matter of public record, or again, serious criminal activity has been rolled out.

Why hasn't Stockbridge responded to fans requests to show the owners details on the deeds? Instead of showing covers to what could be anything.

Where are the accounts please?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Whatever the debt was it wasn't nearly 200 million. It was a fraction of that. It may have potentially been 100 mill but as it turned out the Ebt debt wasn't that big.

Scottish first division clubs are considering resigning from the Scottish Football League - tv

interesting

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Interesting why? They are trying to push for SPFL apparently. Not a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish Ally would resign.

I'm sure Green asked him to leave.

Lets be honest fans don't want him but are being torn apart about buying tickets through love of club against not wanting Ally as manager another year.

i have a very funny feeling that sir David Murray is still involved in all this. to many of his old pals either still there or been brought back, I don't think that any business man would ever sell a business for £1, no matter how much debt it was in. I shall be interested to see what comes out in the next few month. I have also noticed that no one at ibrox or the press has ever said a bad word about him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

OP- I totally agree. Right at the start of this crazy situation I posted a wee scenario on to my mates. Whyte had just paid his £1 and I suggested that it was all a ruse. I asked folk to imagine that Murray knew the club had to be put into admin/liquidation but after all his gloating and success with Rangers he simply couldn't bring himself to be the man associated with doing it. in steps Craig Whyte, someone who is happy to be the face of asset stripping and company liquidation. I said that I wouldn't be surprised if this happened then when the club was in a more manageable financial state Murray would sweep back into power like the percieved returning hero to banish the evil do-ers. Mates suggested that I was living in a fantasy world and I sounded like a paranoid 'timmy'. Subsequently, Murray disappeared off the rader, said nothing which was a bit odd for a man who has always had plenty to say. As I sit here now I see nothing to suggest that my apparent ramblings were nonsense. In fact, there are some friends who now think I'm not as mental as they first thought.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously. If SDM was in any shpe or form involved in any way with Shwite don't you think he would be on the top turret of his xastle shouting about it. Sounding like Paranoid FC

Agree0 Disagree0

@2. Nothing would surprise me anymore. At the end of the day all football fans are at the mercy of the people who control our clubs until we notice and take a stand. It's very naïve to think that the people in power give any kind of a s**t about the fans. They only blow smoke up our arses now and again to make us part with cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 11:18:44
Anyone else get a feeling of deja vu with Ally's signing targets.
No one signed and the official site and usual media outlets are talking about players. This is more than speculation and is damaging.
Keep it quiet and unveil them as signed players surely. PB

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This seems to be all about selling season tickets. How can Ally add to an already huge wage bill without losing players? Boca and Goian returning on big wages too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Buying season tickets does not translate into more transfer money for Ally. It's just more money for Directors and Lawyers and Ally and his coaches salaries.
Besides giving McCoist money for players is madness, his player choices are just not good.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 exactly mate, it's all about season tickets! Wow I bet you guys are excited about the prospect of some of these tantalizing tid bits that ally is lining up and the pro rangers media fully supporting and helping him parade a new bunch of duds lol
Come on peeps wake up will you! ST prices to rise for the same pathetic standard of entertainment! Get buying guys lol

Agree0 Disagree0

They just need to keep the show on the road until they can sell their preference shares in October.

Once that passes, you won't see them for dust.

Agree0 Disagree0

Parading a trialist infront of the cameras was cringe worthy, novo, boyd, miller. goian, bocca all will be no where near ibrox, all the usual guff too try flog season tickets, buy nowt till the truth is spoken about what the hells going on inside, as plenty no, yet pick up there cash and say bugger all. sm

Agree0 Disagree0

Next seasons squad needs to be less expensive than this seAsons or the club sinks financially.

Not one penny will be spent on transfer fees.

Players will need to take wage drops to stay or leave. New guys going in need to be cheaper.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 02:53:04
anyone know what has happened to Gordon smith, the reason I ask is everyone gave him stick for not coming out with the truth about whyte, now mcculloch has revealed in his book that everyone knew the situation was bad, ally, Walter and the players, why are there guys not getting the same stick as Gordon smith got.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not sticking up for WS but he was not at Rangers wben White was there. If he said anything it would have been regarded as hearsay. He could after Green sells his shares tell us the truth but I can see a lot more books being sold on that subject.

Agree0 Disagree0

1) Wrong Smith.

Gordon Smith never had any suspicions at all about Craig Whyte whatsoever even when rumours were rife around Glasgow and guys like John Greig were walking out the boardroom door.

Agree0 Disagree0

McCoist, McCulloch and a few others have seriously let the fans down. Winning the league was the bare minimum that could have been expected of them on the pitch, but they misguidedly kept the dignified silence and let the bears know what's really going on and then endored these shysters on their word when alarm bells being rung form many sources. And now Lee wants us to pay him for what he claims he knew all along, two years too late. They are the ones that have been doing the duping, and the fans are the ones that have been duped.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2013 19:13:51
Too right no. 3. If Jig knew what he claims which I do believe then he should have spoken out, that would have shown real loyalty to Rangers not just staying on because nobody was remotely interested in signing him and paying him the wages he's getting at Ibrox. Never was even very popular before at Ibrox so I don't see why he's sudenly supposed to be a legend.
