If we're signing miller, how about getting rid of simonsen, foster, smith, cribari, faure, black and either shiels or law? Get some of the youths in the team now before they all bugger off. With bell, wallace, mohsni, templeton, peralta, hutton, miller, daly etc we've got plenty of experience in there. Time to bring out the class of 2014.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Do not understand why hutton is getting a new deal as mccoist will not play him plus he has been about for a while now should let hutton go along with simonsen cribari perry forster smith peralta sheils faure all dead wood in my opinion possibly clark and black and moshni still be convinced of moshni looks bit prone to errors we have good anuf younsters in scott gallacher mcausland gasparotto halkett ramsay murdoch stoney callum gallacher crawford burrows aird mackay tom walsh all capable of replacing the dead wood in our squad and saving money if our manger had the guts to play youth will never happen tho

Sg75 stop talking sense lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Think I would have released hutton, and pushed the boy telfer on in the 1st team this season. hutton is about 23 and doesn't look to me as if he is really good enough to hold down a 1st team jersey. looks as if we have new kids coming through, who are good enough to push the1st team squad of players, if given the chance.! boyblue

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep smith. play him at left back push wallace into left mid.

Agree0 Disagree0

H250 100% right the last couple of games smith played well at left back

Agree0 Disagree0

Who you dropping from the wing for Smith to play then Aird or Templeton? Pushing Gallagcher & McKay further out the picture?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well larky for me. aird can only run in straight lines. templeton is better in behind the striker than on a wing. as for the 2 youngsters. mccoist never going to give them a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Love how everyone saying get the youth on, the youth we have are pish we couldn't trust them to get us out of the 3rd div, we need better coaches of scouts before we give youth a chance

Ally/ yer
done mate. Legend that you were it's no excuse for letting everything slip through your fingers and saying nothing. Stand up and be counted as a true or forever be part of this broken thing that is Ranger's.
You may profit but we will not forget that when disaster struck twice you kept schtuum and picked up the cheques. For shame Alistair, for shame.

Never mind, there is good news. Rangers Ladies beat Forfar 14-0 and Peralta is out of Honduras's World Cup squad due to injury. Let's hope he is still injured come next season and promote some of the ladies to the Rangers first team!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We cannae get rid of him if he is injured mind he was a bit better the last couple games if macoist woild play him in his best position

I was one who was invited to participate in RIFC commission regarding fans thoughts, critiques and ideas.

I added concerns that the club was not playing open and passing football; was not developing and playing our youth as I would like; was playing too many over the hill players; was bringing in too many second rate players etc etc.

I really was hoping (naively) that as the club moved forward the playing side would do so, likewise.

What is happening at my club?
Why are we regressing in all factors?

Truth be told - I would rather Rangers went down to junior level and developed a culture of playing good, open and honest football, whilst using youth football.

If Rangers won the Championship and progressed into the SPFL, where would be at the end of that season?
I think we would be relegated, for sure.

I wonder if the major shareholders who do not back the board could initiate an investigation to determine what is happening throughout the club - from finance to players to coaching to fans. The likes of Deloitte and Touche could be invited or instructed to determine where the investments are going.

Just a thought.

To BlueBellsareBlue

Lets go over your Arrogant and ridiculous post I've placed my points in brackets between your Nonsense.

I was one who was invited to participate in RIFC commission regarding fans thoughts ( You mean I was one off the fans that was invited to participate regarding your opinion you don't speak for me or the fans, also your grammar is horrendous)critiques and ideas. (A detailed analysis and assessment of something, especially a literary, philosophical, or political theory, That's what Critiques means somehow I doubt you were involved with that pfft).

I added concerns (Oh you did; Did you) that the club was not playing open and passing football; was not developing and playing our youth as I would like; ( Oh, as how you would like, because Rangers is all about YOU!) was playing too many over the hill players; was bringing in too many second rate players etc etc (etc etc, nah really elaborate?).

I (Oh Just You again!)really was hoping naively that as the club moved forward the playing side would do so, likewise.

What is happening at my club? (Oh Your Club? when did you Buy it, You mean Our Club?)
Why are we regressing in all factors? (we are not, did we not just have back to back promotions, that's progression no matter how you look at it!).

Truth be told - I would rather Rangers went down to junior level and developed a culture of playing good, open and honest football, whilst using youth football. (LOL SHUT UP)

If Rangers won the Championship and progressed into the SPFL, where would be at the end of that season?
I think we would be relegated, for sure. (Again LOL lay of the super T)

I wonder if the major shareholders who do not back the board could initiate an investigation to determine what is happening throughout the club - from finance to players to coaching to fans. The likes of Deloitte and Touche could be invited or instructed to determine where the investments are going. (pretty sure that's what they have been trying to do for donkey's head out the clouds simple simon).

Just a thought. (Wish you never had any off them self obsessed Juvenile thoughts).

A good young Youth Prospect in Telfer away and Kenny Miller coming back in (again), this outlines our managers plans and tells all the other youth players they will not get a chance in 1st team under him. Expect to see more of our youth talent leave over next few weeks/months as they are being wasted by our management team. I hate saying this but fair play to teams like Dundee Utd and Hearts as they have shown that bringing through youth is the way forward but still we can't see it. Another season lies ahead of watching long ball tactics up to journeymen like Daly and Miller, pathetic, and the board wonder why fans are not buying season tickets?

Ally may not be the death of you, but there will defo be a nail in the coffin with his name on it. The Rangers Under 20 team where just pipped to the league playing against top youths from the SPFL teams. But can't get a game in Ally's Dad's Army in the lower leagues. Progressing youth is also where money can be made and Rangers have had a brilliant platform to showcase there young talent with so many games on TV. Apart from Ally's ego, was there any point winning the league by 40 points and not bringing through young players when it was won?

Agree0 Disagree0

What I read is he was offered a new contract don't know how good a contract that was but its not Ally who says what that should be there is people above who set that out now as I've sad before i'm not convinced in Ally but you need to ask how hard they tried to keep him as for Kenny Miller I think if its A one years contract or a pay as you play ill accept that i'm not excited about it he will score goals for us and will help us back up but the loss of Telfer has turned it full circle for me we used to do it to Dundee Utd now they are stealing our young players maybe it shows the finacial state we are in but what do we expect with these faceless money men in charge taking huge wages out of our club

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a sad reflection on where Rangers stand today and I wonder if our business plan is pure folly. We're looking after today and ignoring the future and who's making these decisions?

What's the point of the investment in and the cost of Murray Park if our management has little faith in the end product? None of this strategy makes sense. We might well win the league next season but we'll be doing it with the oldest 1st team in Scotland and missed out on the best period we've ever had to rebuild from the youth up. Someone has to answer for this, never mind title deeds etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everything macoist has done could be described as pure folly when asked why the games in america are being played where they are macoist replied plenty of good golf courses there that's genuine imbecile

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly don't believe Ally when he says he has no input into players contracts. If it was true how could he know what players to go for? Why not just tell the board he wants Messi etc and leave it to them to figure out the money side? Why would there be a need to give him a budget?

Agree0 Disagree0

I can assure u macoist done the deal wi j dalys agent without fear of contraception

oh great, were bringing in a 34 year old in, ( wonder how much that's costing us ) whose best days are behind him, while at the same time letting an 18 year old, whose future is in front of him slip out the door, crazy! boyblue

I think Miller would be a good signing, it was only last season he had a great performance and scored nice goal against England at Wembley. He was by far our best player in the big games away to Ceptic, Hibs, Aberdeen etc
But it is his attitude and work rate that impresses me most, he's fitter than most 24 year olds and I think he would have a positive influence on the team and the youngsters like Nicky Clark would do well to follow his example rather than Jon Daly.
Reports suggest he's on minimal wage and I think he would be a revelation in championship, my only critisism is offering a 2 year deal when a single season would make more sense.
I know my comment is likely to be unpopular but its only my opinion Teddies

Agree0 Disagree0

I have never seen Telfer play a full match but from all reports it seems he has great potential. Losing him is just another example of the no logic approach by Coisty and co. The chap wants 1 st team football So would it not make sense offering him a contract and loaning him to utd or a team that can offer him games?
Best of luck to him.
A very Fed up bear

BB - I am absolutely shocked if this is true.

I have not been one who has villified and ridiculed Ally. I have always said I will give him two years to get it right. That time is now!

I fully expected Ally to allow the youth squad he has mentored, coached and trained to take up the mantle and go forth with pride, playing an exciting passing game with one or two really good older players.

Kris Boyd I could stomach (nearly), but Kenny Miller - never - he is beyond past it. Ryan Giggs, Frank Lampard and Henrik Laarson could play to his age, as they were of a higher calibre. Miller is plying his trade in wherever league - lower than junior level.

I have never said this before, never, but if it is true McCoist must go!

I am very very sad.

Agree0 Disagree0

We will all have to wait until united sell telfer to find out his sell on value but I will give anybody 100 to one it will be more than kenny millers sell on value
