So 30 year old weiss is a free agent. what's your opinion on this? Personally all i remember of him is the quick pass against Celtic to jelavic . Without youtube or google i couldn't tell you any more. so for me i wouldn't being him back. don't see him replacing anyone in our team.

And the posts some of you are putting up saying we need another striker and a right midfielder. please tell me who would you replace? If all our first team survive the january window imo there's no one to replace. let's go through some of our main starters and you tell me if i'm wrong.

Mcgregor - no chance of replacing unless he breaks a leg

The whole defence tav barasic etc. again no chance of finding better atm

Kent - showing his 7 million now
Davis - irreplaceable
Aribo - tall but his skill is really good at times

Morelos - will be absolutely gutted when he leaves . if he stays past January. which for his career he should then i will be a happy man

Defoe. bench warmer to Morelos but still better than most strikers in spl
Obviously that's not all our main starters bit you get where i'm going

Unless stevie wants to bankrupt us and bring in Ronaldo, messi or neymer. that's if we think they're good enough for us then i say if it ain't broke. don't fix it. The team we have. and the backups we have atm are more than capable of winning this league. and the scottish cup.

I also think should we keep all our players in January then i don't see why we can't reach at least the semi finals, maybe even the final of europa. if we play the way we've been playing as of late there aren't any team in the europa that we won't make life hard for. picture this. all the way to finals to face copenhagen because they smashed celtic and whoever else they got. only to face rangers in the finals. and you guessed it. Morelos scores the winner.

1 more thing. can all Celtic minded people reading this stop with the sour grapes of Sunday's defeat. Morelos had a 3 game ban. why try get more? Are you really that afraid of losing this league you want our star striker out the way. sad you don't think celtic can't do it themselves. And clutching at straws with the Kent celebration lol.

Sorry for the long post but i leave for work soon, anyway onwards and upwards bears.

I appreciate Aribo is a talent with a lot of potential but for me he is not a right sided forward or midfielder. I think longer term he will become a left sided central midfielder.

Therefore we need a 1st team RW, that could be someone already at the club, maybe play Kent there (he obviously has a right foot as he takes corners both left and right footed) and allow one of the other several LW to play on the left.

Personally I like the guy Boyle from Hibs. He is probably the fastest player in the league and knows where the goal is. Keep him fit and he would be a star.

Either way I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the window.

Zikos kent is right footed. He plays on the left as he can cut inside and have a shot. Probably thinking for aribo on the right as left footed.

Zikos, absolutely mental post. Aribo is twice the player Boyle will ever be and is still developing. He’s been great at RW, in what world have you found evidence he is a better left sided midfielder? 😂.

I like Aribo like most do, his problem is that he’s not better than the midfield 3 starters at present, sure he can be in time. He is definitely not a Right sided forward although doing a decent job there currently. That is the only position in team I feel that’s up for grabs as it stands. I like Jordan Jones for it but I reckon Stevie G has a thing against him now after the way he handled himself in first old firm and may sell if bid comes in. I hope not was great before injury.

Our best front 3 on current form is Kent, Morelos and Aribo and it’s only going to get better.
It’s no coincidence that Tavs form has picked up in recent weeks that Aribo is first choice and is linking well with Tav.

Tend to agree with coully, although I don't think aribo will be anywhere near as good as kamara davis jack. Yes he is doing a job just now on the right but he doesn't have the pace or the directness to be the RF we need. What we need is a 'kent' type player for the right, whether that turns out to be jones or a new signing we will see. Someone mentioned hastie the other day, hastie might be doing well in the lower leagues but that is no guarentee that he can perform for us, take docherty and rossiter for example. We need a RF. That is the problem position, fix that with the right type of player, hold on to what we have and we will march towards the title. 👍.

Coldo hastie is not even doing well there. Had a good 1st month. Has struggled since then. another who is not good enough.

Wagman as other posters have mentioned (and in my original post) I think Aribo is technically a good player but he does not have the pace and trickery to be a RW. He also is very left footed. We need someone better in that position.

I like the boy Boyle from Hibs, others don’t and I appreciate that. Maybe I have only seen him in games where he has put in MOTM performances and he is normally poor. Or maybe I’m right and he is the best player in the league outside the Old Firm. I think he is both technical and very pacey. But like I said Aribo isn’t a long term solution and I look forward to seeing what we do in the window.

Hope this gives you as much of a laugh as it gave me. I was out for a few drinks on the 1st and there were a few Celtic lads out. One guy has telling me that Morelos had a knife in the tunnel and cut one of Christie’s testicles off and that why he was rushed to hospital. Plus Morelos is in hiding in Columbia because he’s going jail.
I was going to say you couldn’t make it up, but obviously you can 😂.

Not inconceivable letsgo, I was having a Sunday morning kick about in bellahouston park with my mates and a couple of randomers when one of the randomers pulled a blade out his trainers.
Totally true story by the way. So Alfie could be running about with a blade just for the sole purpose of cutting one of Christie's hee haws off, which now seemingly he has.

Im hearing Morelos boots were heavily modified prior to the Celtic game and if he hits the side of his heel a flick knife comes out the front. He used this to great effect in the tunnel slicing Christe's left baw off then performed a Bicycle kick into the Celtic coach.

Im totally behind Alfredo and think we are privileged to have such a talent. The more you knock this young man down the harder he will come back. Okay he doesn't come from the 50s tenements of Glasgow which produced some fine footballers but there is a similarity to his back ground and his mentality. He has is a survivor and still has the inner protector instinct for everything that he cares about that can come out in a second but 99% of the time he is a caring gentle person. i'm from the tenements, i'm from poverty but not now however I recognize the mentality, the resilience, the knock me down, you better bring a mob the next time frame of mind and if you touch my family.

Millerbrandwilson, WTF are you on about. Tommy Sheridan WTF! I am pointing out Alf is from a very deprived background and the fact he made it out shows he is a resilient successful character with a lot of drive and a never say die attitude. I make the analogy that we and still have a lot of resilient kids that come from poverty and succeed due to there resilience in Scotland. My conclusion and its based on my own personalty that when you come from such a background with that kind of drive and determination that it can sometimes boil over due to a lack of experience and maturity. Edd please post as I don't know unless i'm missing something what Miller is on about.

Miller up to you mate but trust me your way off the mark, as you say I don't know then man but i'm only posting my opinion and perhaps some sort of explanation to why us humans boil over sometimes. I ain't no poet laureate so you will have to excuse my lack if intellect when it comes to putting my ideas on paper. I meant no harm, I was and still am perplexed by your Tommy Sheridan remark, I know nothing of the man apart from he exists.
