I think this whole Diouf saga is getting blown way out of proportion. Dont get me wrong, he is quite possibly the last player i expected or even wanted Walter to sign but, at the end of the day, when he walks out wearing that famous blue shirt he will get all my support, the same as i supported Mo Johnston and Kenny Miller when they came to Ibrox. We all need to forget about bickering with each other and concentrate on supporting our fantastic club through this difficult stage in our history. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but i really think Diouf deserves a chance, just as plenty of players have in the past! WATP!

I have just heard from my aunt who works for Martin Bain and she has just this minuet told me Rangers are going to get back millions in overdraft charges Martin has tasked PPI CLAIMS COMPANY to get this money back as Rangers took out loans and were sold insurance that the didn't need.
The same company got me £29.95 so it all good

Meant to say ed i had two posts that i sent in yesterday (around 3ish) that never made it on. One was in response to the el hadj stuff and the guy who handed back his season book (apparantly) and i made reference to alex rae. the other was on the celtic page in response to the jim farry debate. Were these just missed (i did have some trouble with the rangers site last night tho)
cheers

Ive taken what you replied on board and I d say regarding mr diouf that the level of intensity of a lot of the comments hes getting are about 5 miles over the top and that's wrong. as far as liverpool etc goes Ive seen nothing in there to cause any
problem I just think that we don't care to see the trees for the wood so to speak and that's the end of it . .

Another point Id like to make to all you self styled
paragons of virtue is we didn't sign goodwillie as he was accused of being a law-breaker- diouf as far as I know has, nt even got a parking ticket you criticise a man of ethnic minority here and you open up the racial can of worms as well not to mention the others who wanted to sign goodwillie
even though he faced a charge(innocent until proven guilty) so tell me where your standards are
so I can work out where your arguements coming
from or are you just simply hypocatic racists?
what the hell happened to football? {ed's note - I think the only racist here is yourself, no one mentioned his ethnicity until you. Please take that nonsense elsewhere, it is not welcome here. The only things people had mentioned regarding Diouf were his comments to Mackie after he broke his leg and his spitting on fans and other players, plus his all round attitude. So don't come on playing the race card, it is pathetic and unwarranted.}

Right I am getting a bit hacked off with this Diouf carry on and Rangers fans hammering on about Walter letting us down and signing an animal etc. .

Hear is a little reminder for the bears fans, bearing in mind I myself am a season ticket holder. Does everyone remember Iain Ferguson, Rangers legend, midfield dynamo? Rangers - Dundee Utd, bears down 3-0 at half time, about 5 mins to go Fergie gets hammered by Davie Beaumont, Fergies reaction? He gets up and smashes the biggest pile of spit in Beaumonts face, and gets away with it! My point? Ferguson went on to be one of the most decorated players in modern history was rewarded with a testemonial and is a known legend.

Players make mistakes gentlemen, they are human. It is disgusting and in NO WAY am I condoning the behaviour of Diouf or Ferguson but they play in the light blue, so they deserve our support.

Rant over! !

Re el hadji diouf playing for rangers, I don't know where all you critics get your values from but the guy is a football player and his ethnicity is not the same as ours he gets a reputation as being a bad guy? he does, nt go out and break legs make a video and sit at home watching it!like many of you sickoes re the henrik larsen leg break video which is still viewed yet, and there are plenty other fan wind ups like that around over parkhead way and we all know that so why do you all act like little saints because we all know its just hypocrasy on your parts, I don't hear you complaining about peter tobin the way dioufs getting it?why because
tobin is a mass murderer and dioufs a footballer, no
wonder we have social problems in this country!
How much did you say that bottle of buckie cost again?

Sounds as though you're completely desperate and would sign anyone. Do you not have any standards. P.S. The Gazza allegations were not made prior to him signing for Rangers, so don't geez ur pish.

Someone posted earlier saying that their dad stopped going to watch rangers after they signed Maurice Johnstone. I do not see why you would post that, to me that makes your dad out to be narrow minded and bigoted. Mo Johnstone was a good player, why should'nt he play for Rangers! that signing signified a new beginning for Rangers! David Murray and Graeme Souness took Rangers by the scruff of the neck into the 20th century. That should not be forgotten. We might be screwed now but initially Murray made Rangers a significant club in Europe and made sky sports take notice of us and therefore give us money in the 90s which enabled us to win 9 in a row

If you go on the bbc website chic young asks walter smith about the signing of diouf after the rangers v hearts game. smith answers the questions the best way possible, saying that he had a good game and that he can bring alot more to the way in which we play!
in the last month celtic have played great football, the hooper and stokes partnership has worked against the likes of hearts and aberdeen but i don't think celtic would like a physical game which rangers would bring.
smith signed diouf knowing that he likes the physical element and that he likes to try to bully players. the game on sunday will be interesting, Lennon likes to play attacking football whereas Smith plays cautious football. The Rangers team has also been through it all in regard to winning the league, the Scottish cup and the league cup. Rangers in that sense are united, they know what they have to do to win trophies! for the celtic players it is a new experience therefore rangers have a slight advantage.
what do you think ed? {ed's note - it is going to be tight I think, I can't make up my mind who will win though. Each time I think about it I come up with a different result! The teams are so closely matched it is impossible to say, I certainly wouldn't want to put money on it.}

Absolutely no morals - Diouf is the lowest of the low and shouldn't be welcomed at any football club.
