Hi everyone terrific result today, thought Jack was unlucky with the red card up to then he was the man of the match by a country mile, also how good was Bates today fantastic performance from the lad. Tav got his mojo back the team knocking the ball about with purpose tracking back and tackling all around the pitch got there fight back what a difference playing for each other. Even Cardoso looked solid. Keep it going Rangers . c'mon us.

03 Dec 2017 21:38:10
Welcome back to Rangers - Neil McCann!

03 Dec 2017 21:00:36
LET Murty have the job till the end of the season with a contract to follow if he stabilises the ship, other than that, either Mourinho's right hand man at Real Madrid OR De Boer, nobody else else please Just look at their CV's.

03 Dec 2017 20:03:07
Hope we don't go for McInnes as manager he's simply not good enough. The players are working harder and playing for Murty - the right man for the job imo. He speaks well, cares about the club, we have a system that works and players playing again. If we change it now it might go pear shaped.

03 Dec 2017 20:28:50
I like Murty and you can tell the players like him. But I don’t want him as manager. I think he’s doing a great job getting the u20 boys ready for 1st team. Am a mcinnes fan he ticks almost every box for me. He’s a rangers man knows what it means to play for us the demands for every game. we need leadership back and I think he’s the man to do it.

03 Dec 2017 21:13:54
Mcinnes has had that Aberdeen team for 4 years they are an established team. The 2nd best team in scotland. Our interim manager has come in and taken 6 points from them. How many points has mcinnes taken off brenda celtic team '0' and murty '1'. Mcinnes isn't going to turn into a top class manager just because he has more money, better players and bigger fanbase. Did u see him with his a4 sheets of papaer trying to work out murtys diamond 442 formation.

He put a man on mcrorie who is a sitting midfielder lol what's he going to do? Score from 60 yards aye right. We also had a makeshift defence and 10 men fr 30 minutes! Someone saying on here he might bring the goalie and mclean. No thanks. What has mcinnes done in europe? Nothing. Moving forward if we want to finish 2nd and win a cup then ok mcinnes is the man but at rangers finishing 2nd is last!

03 Dec 2017 22:22:07
It fills me with dread to have DMcI's back room staff at Ibrox - Antony Docherty, Gordon Marshall, Paul Sheerin and Barry Robson - please not!

03 Dec 2017 22:57:27
RfcChris. u r indeed a very clever man. You could see what Derek McInnes was doing with his A4 sheets. could you aye!
Away and Gez peace. The amount of people on here who know hee haw about tactics yet spout pish on a regular basis astounds me! We were better than Aberdeen over two games. We were up for it the way they are usually up for it against us. That worries me. we r raising oor game to play them!

03 Dec 2017 23:47:16
Why would it worry you Dutch that Rangers have lifted their game the last couple of weeks. Maybe Murty is finally getting through to the players what is expected of them.

04 Dec 2017 10:35:18
I wanted McIness about a week ago, now I just can't see how getting mciness is an improvement to Murty. Aberdeen have won 1 in last 5 i think. Not saying murty should get it, but maybe just stick with him til end of the season and wait til a better option pops up. I can't see many good available managers at the mo and i don't think we would pay a lot for someone that's in contract. Murty til end of season for me.

04 Dec 2017 10:36:41
Let me get one thing clear here first! I have always said and stated that imo, derek mcinnes isn't my preferred choice to be our next manager! I would much prefer graeme murty over mcinnes! I just don't think derek mcinnes is the right manager for us! Having said that, i will back any manager who's very privileged enough, to get the glasgow rangers manager's job!

But listening to mcinnes this afternoon, in his post match conference, calling his boyhood club by derogatory slogans like "THEM" and "THEY", really sickened me of him altogether! If you are a boyhood bluenose you never refer to glasgow rangers as "THEM" and "THEY"! My strong message to our directors would be, leave delboy mcinnes where he is, ie. manager of the sheep! Not just because of his outbursts towards us, but because he AIN'T good enough to be the glasgow rangers manager! Simple as that!

04 Dec 2017 10:39:53
Think it was a joke to be fair Dutch

03 Dec 2017 18:18:47
Just wondering your opinions on when Windass had a shot saved just past the post. Pena was running to the edge of the box, did he stand on the ball on purpose for Windass to follow up and shoot or was it a mistake and a bit of luck.

03 Dec 2017 18:37:02
A bit of luck am afraid Pena fell over the ball. On Pena I ain’t a fan of him at all but thought he looked more interested today. Still wouldn’t give him a jersey. Hope he proves me wrong

03 Dec 2017 18:45:52
I was wondering the same thing. I’ve watched it back a few times now and it was either an extremely lucky mistake or one of the best lay offs I’ve seen. I’m still not sure

03 Dec 2017 19:37:33
I think it was a lay off I think Pena has the talent and bison but just doesn’t have the speed for the Scottish game still doesn’t look fit enough

03 Dec 2017 19:40:37
I think it was a lay off. The through ball for miller in the 2nd half was class.

03 Dec 2017 22:46:52
Wow murty could outfox any manager, he comes across as a really nice guy and a positive influence to the squad. The loss to dundee was just a blunder I would like murty till end of the season.

03 Dec 2017 22:49:14
pena has some really nice touches in the final third. a bit sluggish but putting effort in and keeps the ball moving quickly when it comes to him. through ball was a beauty and he played a really nice one down the line with the outside of his foot at the end of the first half

04 Dec 2017 21:16:05
watch it bach he kaid it off and pulled the defenders with him. why r folk here wishing the worst of everyone

03 Dec 2017 17:56:39
What about Andy Walker? Even though he was watching a great tackle again and again on replay. He still insisted that it was a deserved red card! He even tried to emphasise that "it defenitaley wouldn't be rescinded THIS TIME". he is that deluded that he thinks if he says it live on air he will sway the decision to overturn again. Comedy gold once more from him. He is like a never ending conveyer belt of terrible punditry and indeed patter. He will sink to very low depths it seems.

03 Dec 2017 18:32:50
No one has spoken about the fact that May pulls out of, or in good Glesga talk, shuts it. Half hearted tackle will get you hurt most of the time.
As for Walker, don't listen to a thing he says, he gets paid to talk crap, and is very good at it. Not as good as Sutton though. If the two of them were playing football in my garden I wouldn't open the curtains to watch .

03 Dec 2017 18:34:37
it was a red card plain and simple it does not matter if he got the ball, the ref has a duty of care towards the players

03 Dec 2017 18:45:27
Under "duty of care" Motherwell would be down to eight men most weeks.

03 Dec 2017 18:48:27
Duty of care. Your buzz wording Walker

03 Dec 2017 18:50:35
I don’t see how some folk are still saying it’s a red. Unless Jack knows how to reverse the laws of gravity and physics there’s no way he can’t follow through after going in for it. I think if his studs were showing when he makes contact with the ball then it’s a red, but he’s side footed it and May has crapped out of it. If May goes in harder and doesn’t hesitate then he wouldn’t have gotten caught. It’s something you get told playing from a young age. ”don’t sh**e out of a tackle or you’ll get hurt! ”

03 Dec 2017 19:51:41
Bears used to referee at amateur level and run the line at junior level and pains me to say that the tackle was red card all day for me. Don. t rate Willie Collum at all I trained with much better refs than him at same training area and they didn't make it to grade one but unfortunately he is the guy in the middle and gets split second to see an incident

But hey what do I know all about opinions and we're all right eh!

03 Dec 2017 20:29:01
Big May pulls out the tackle and gets hurt. Never a red card. Can you imagine the abuse jack would get if he pulls out the tackle?

Regardless, well done Rangers. Very proud of the last 2 performances.

03 Dec 2017 20:34:27
Have to agree with 1966 it was a red card. If the same tackle had happened to one of our players we would have been screaming for red. Nasty challenge and could have ended up much worse for May.

03 Dec 2017 20:59:50
Can't believe the nonsense of the posts saying it's a red card. When Jack plays the ball where's his foot supposed to go, disappear into thin air. May got clumsily into the way of the natural follow through any human being kicking a ball would have. If you believe that was a red you're simply fooling yourselves.

03 Dec 2017 21:41:15
It was a 50/ 50 ball that Jack went to win, he put 100% into the tackle and May didn’t fancy it and pulled out of it. If May had gone in with same intent he wouldn’t have got hurt and both players momentum would have been similar. May pulling out made it look a bad tackle! Def no intent to hurt by Jack but from a refs point of view was probably a red.

04 Dec 2017 10:31:31
Really felt sorry for ryan jack! He was unlucky to be sent off, although in a way i do understand why wullie column sent him off! Jack was having a terrific game to! I rate jack and he'll be a very good signing for us! In my eyes he's a future glasgow rangers captain! He's very similar in style to kevin thomson, who was a really good player for us and if he hadn't been sold to middlesbrough, he would have been a future rangers captain!

03 Dec 2017 15:59:37
Well after all the sanctimonious people on here going on about diving all week, I expect to see all you bears come on and condemn Windass for his cheating.

03 Dec 2017 16:12:11
I don't think you'll here any of my fellow bears stick up for him.
It was a terrible dive and he fully deserved his booking.
Maybe your lot are just better at it.

03 Dec 2017 16:14:02
Windass rightly should be condemned for his blatant cheating, but I don't remember that many on here going on about it you must have us confused with the gutter press or some bitter Motherwell fans

03 Dec 2017 16:21:09
Well let me be the first, diving is cheating and windass tried to cheat, end of. I would like to think that OUR manager does not come out and try and defend what he done. I like to think we have more class than that. Did you think both of youe were prns tim?

03 Dec 2017 16:25:32
he dived he was booked. club shd also ban him
for 3 games to stamp it out yellows not enough for me

however neither of your players were booked for blatant diving rather they conned ref into game changing decisions on both occasions

& worse still no backbone by manager or media to fess up and admit guilt - I've spoken to hibees pars utd and all sorts fans at work who agree both decisions were ridiculous

so in terms of the sanctimony you cry let’s hear it timmy are you going to hold your hand up and admit your guilt.

03 Dec 2017 16:29:49
yours and pens I mean

03 Dec 2017 16:30:37
Rightly booked for diving and a very poor dive at that I hope the club have a word with him not try and defend his actions

03 Dec 2017 16:44:16
is that enough for you Tim or should i go on? where was your condemnation of Sinclair by the way?

03 Dec 2017 16:54:51
Ffs it wasn't the end of the world - he tried a wee cheeky dive and got booked - end of! Then later scored a brilliant goal - Why aren't we talking about that - Good on you Josh!

03 Dec 2017 17:12:13
Terrible dive got booked but didn’t result in a pen or change the course of a game so nothing to bleat about really dhim! He’s obviously seen the highlights of most of the mhanky mobs games this season and thought why not give it a go!

03 Dec 2017 18:00:26
In any other sport lads you get banned for cheating. Golf you get banned for life end of story. We need honest players. By the way where was Bruno Alves today?

03 Dec 2017 18:12:41
Alves injured

03 Dec 2017 18:20:06
You want windass banned for life tommy ( timmy )?

03 Dec 2017 18:36:42
Tommy Alves was reported by Murty as having sustained an ankle injury last Wed in training.

03 Dec 2017 20:38:16
Sanctimonious? What sanctimonious about rightly pointing out that 2 Celtic players blatantly cheated to get pens? Both have embarrassed themselves and the club and their long unbeaten run only continues due to cheating. Windass dived and cheated too and was rightly booked. Haven’t seen anyone on here defend them or say he didn’t cheat. Can’t really see what your on about tbh

03 Dec 2017 15:43:42
Sterling effort from the entire Rangers family today, team, manager and supporters. Was worried about Bates but turned out to be safe and solid. Windass, the enigma. Seems to be worth a start, can't fault his effort, goals and assists over the past 2 games. Miller was under par and gave it away a lot however he must do stuff that the untrained eye can't see. Thought Jack was our best player up to you know what. I don't think i'm qualified to comment on that, needs a good ex ref and player to decide one way or other. Said before Murty is not up to it but i'm starting to change my mind. Mcinnes is buckling under the pressure of being the bookies favorite let alone being the actual manager. Next week will be very interesting.
PS: does anyone else think our fitness has improved since Pedro left, we can actually play for 90 minutes now!

04 Dec 2017 10:28:02
Ive never doubted the players fitness but it just looks as if they’re fitter because they’re playing with more freedom and are a lot happier. they wernt playing for Pedro its simple as that.

03 Dec 2017 15:42:55
McInnes may not be everyone's first choice. He wasn't mine either, but let's face it his job will be much easier with 50,000 backing him. As good as Rodgers is, and he is. The real trick to Celtics current success is that the appointment united all their fans. The confidence gained from their support has transformed a lot of average players. Our squad is lacking quality and depth, and there doesn't seem to be anyone realistic that will unite us. I love Walter but let the man enjoy his retirement. With the right signings in Jan i. e. Moult plus a couple more we should comfortably finish second. So if it is indeed Derek we should all get behind him. He is after all, one of our own.

Keep Believing.

03 Dec 2017 16:09:35
If you think appointing mcInnes will unite the fans then you are deluded. We need to get a manager with abillity not another numpty

03 Dec 2017 16:14:17
Spot on big Marv.
McInnes does not excite me but if he is appointed he'll have my full backing (and I won't turn on him if he has a couple of poor results) .

03 Dec 2017 16:51:05
Was all for Mcinnes before pedro was announced but since been turned over home and away by our under 20's coach, i have some doubts. Understandable?

03 Dec 2017 17:30:59
50,000 fans backing you is easy for any manager but what about when the going gets tough and he has 50,000 fans that are unhappy?

03 Dec 2017 17:32:35
Understandable yes but we do have greater resources and should have better players than Aberdeen, so should be beating them. Perhaps McInnes only will ever get second but how will we know without giving him better players and more resources?

03 Dec 2017 18:46:48
all the last 2 games proves is that when our team turns up they are better than aberdeen, and so they should be the money spent putting our squad together. mcinnes has that lot playing better than us when they clearly are not better. we need someone like him to come in and bring the best out of what we’ve got. that’s where the breadman and caixinha failed. also if he brings mclean, who’ll be able to sign for free in january, and that keeper with him that would be decent, they’d walk into our team but in every other position we are better and like i say we need mcinnes to come and get the best out of them!

03 Dec 2017 19:22:34
Lum. if Mlean had performed for us the way he did today we would be wondering whyb we ever signed him, he was complete cr. p

03 Dec 2017 23:22:53
fair enough but he’s a good player despite not having the best of games

03 Dec 2017 23:41:01
If 50,000 are unhappy blue89 the club continually sacks managers as no one will be good enough we eventually stop going to games we fall further down the league forget about Europe and never challenge again. Or we realise why we are where we are get back to basics again and build gradually. I've heard a lot of people adamant that McInnes is not the answer and not one of them has put forward a realistic alternative I'm not saying McInnes should get the job just that if he does after a 6 week process carried out by a director of football that is far more qualified than any of us then we should support the guy or give up.

Keep Believing

04 Dec 2017 10:34:04
Lum that keeper is a donkey. Heard a lot of people raving about him but any time I’ve watched him this season he’s made some absolute howlers.

04 Dec 2017 12:30:16
I've only really seen him on highlights and games against us or the tims, but i thought he looked a better keeper than fod, maybe play alnwick see how he does

04 Dec 2017 21:41:13
rogers united celtic fans. mcinnes wont. simple as that and we might have another manager before season is finished. our fans can be the best and worst in the country

03 Dec 2017 15:32:20
There's just no way the board will go for McInnes now!
. is there?

03 Dec 2017 17:08:19
Maybe if we go for McInnes, Aberdeen could do worse than replacing him with. Graeme Murty! Lol although I want Murts to stay.

03 Dec 2017 18:37:54
If some of our supporters don’t want to give
Mcinnes a chance fair enough but if one of
the managers they want goes through a wee
bad spell what do they do support them or go
for another manager it’s time to stand together
no matter who it is

03 Dec 2017 18:48:42
mcinnes is the best choice, that just proves our players are better than aberdeens had a rant about it on the post above

03 Dec 2017 19:25:07
Lum, have a look at Mcinnes overall managerial record

03 Dec 2017 20:28:14
McInnes (in the past few years) has finished second whilst having the second biggest budget.

Not exactly terrible, if you think he should have been winning the the league I'd question your sanity.

He's not a particularly exciting appointment but for the love of God if he is the new manager back him.
If you don't you are potentially making things more difficult for our own team.

03 Dec 2017 23:20:41
i’m only really judging mcinnes on his spell at aberdeen but i’m seeing that he’s got them a comfortable second last few years, and this year up until all the speculation started, and he’s won a cup, just last year been to 2 cup finals and only been beaten by celtic. aberdeen aren’t really a club you’re expecting to win leagues and cups so what more you want from him at aberdeen i don’t know. rangers you would expect him to win leagues and cups but with bigger budget, better players, better and bigger support i don’t see why he couldn’t do the job and as an ex player you would think he knows what’s expected and what happens when you don’t do it

03 Dec 2017 15:22:12
Fantastic result for the boys but we can't ignore the standard of referring once again in a SPFL game.

No danger that was a red card on Jack folks. The replay makes it look much worse but I don't believe there's anything he could have done to prevent that from happening. Below when my points as to why I feel there was no foul at all.

1. He's first to the ball, he's played a pass and upon contact with the ball there's no contact with stevie May.

2. Upon motion off swinging his leg, trying to pull out of the challenge could cause serious damage to Jack and it's also very unlikely he would have been able to prevent contact with May after the pass was complete.

I think Jack has every right to go for that ball and he's clearly won the ball first and I am under the impression he has no intention of hurting May.

So, if another red card is over turned once again for the 3rd time this year for the same player, surely the SFA have to look at this and think improvement has to be made with the referring because the mistakes being made are constant week in week out and it's affecting every side that plays.

03 Dec 2017 16:00:10
I can't believe collum didn't give windass a pen, it met every criteria that he has for awarding pens ie minimal contact, theatrical fall to the ground the only thing I can think of is that it wasnt in the closing stages of the game, he did manage to send a Rangers player off for nothing right enough. The refs are crap in Scotland but inconsistently crap.

03 Dec 2017 16:25:01
I said something similar in another post regarding the card only you explained it more thoroughly. I don't think there was any intent at all on jack's part.

03 Dec 2017 19:58:13
Probably going to get shot down for this but I thought it was a red. He got to the ball first conpleted his pass then crunched into Mays ankle it wasnt necessary he could have completed the pass and stepped away from May. Jacks a silly boy imo.

04 Dec 2017 09:39:51
Was listening to radio with the sheep loving presenter and his sidekick excuse for a contributed, both adamant it was a red, watching it l do not think Jack did anything wrong, but, when they slow it down and replay they make it look like an execution. May could have been badly injured but l think he bottled the tackle and Ryan Jack was winning that ball.
The bias of radio sheep is palpable.

04 Dec 2017 10:29:10
I have to agree guys, no red Card full stop. There is no argument for it. He wins the ball fair and square and catches the opposition player as he is following through. If that's a red Card what about the simunovic tackle on kenny Miller that ended in kenny cartwheeling up in the air? The refereeing in this country is disgusting. Windass dive was disgracefull and he was rightly punished for it but, WTF was colum doing in the celtic motherwell game? Its double standards all day long.

04 Dec 2017 10:33:48
Naw guys, you can't defend a tackle like that. He meant the follow throigh. Pity because he was by far the best player on the pitch. He just needs to cut out that kind of thing. Leave that to Peanut Heid. Don't lower yourself to its level Ryan

03 Dec 2017 15:05:14
I really really don't want mcinnes, listening to both managers after the game murty comes across well, very positive, mcinnes I'm wondering if he was watching the same game, just talked absolute nonsense and sounded like a ned, give the job to murty

03 Dec 2017 15:22:03
Or he sounded like a manager who was pointing out the positives of his own teams performance.
There was no "Ned" talk.

03 Dec 2017 15:54:26
what positives, if he gets the job (which i hope he dont) he will not bring anything to our club but mediocrity, he was a stick on for the job when wattie put his name forward, notice how he is quiet during the over the top speculation for mcinnes, as i said before it will all end in tears

03 Dec 2017 16:18:25
Positives from his perspective.
I'm a rangers fan and thought we were easily the better team maybe until the sending of, it's never fun to watch your own team to defend that deep but we did it well.

I would not have a go at a manager for sticking up for his own team. Unless they lost, say 7-1.

What did you expect him do slaughter his own team for the sake of it.

04 Dec 2017 10:30:40
I can't think 🤔 of any manager that would take positives after a 7-1 defeat

03 Dec 2017 14:51:15
We'll that's what I thought would happen.

If we now go and take McInnes after those 2 games we are more of an embarrassment than before!

He is not the saviour of Glasgow Rangers.

Something like 29 times facing the Auld firm and he has one 3! His European record is worse than Brenda's!

No no no.

03 Dec 2017 14:56:11
he is absolutelt not the answer, google his managerial record, it certainly does not fill me with confidence.

03 Dec 2017 15:12:21
The way our board have been going they will splash out for him next week and chase the dream of mediocracy!

03 Dec 2017 15:29:58
Hi all Gers bro's, I have already been on a few weeks ago regarding Mciness, I think today proves beyond any doubt that he is not good enough to manage our beloved team. He had a great chance to completely change tactics when we had Jack sent off, and believe me he was our engine in midfield, Mciness failed miserably and won't take us further than 2nd, he just does not have the bottle or brains and his record in big games says it all, even the lovers of Mciness must surely admit that this is indeed not the way forward, and if he is appointed we can totally forget about stopping 10 in a row, what we need is a leader, a tactical coach who is shrewd and aware who knows the Scottish game and can turn a game, who can get the best out of players who may not be the best but have the complete will to win, who will love the manager and fight tooth and nail for him, for every ball, for every point, and for every win. that is not Mciness I'm afraid, but hey Ho who am I, just a fan a supporter who wants the best for the team he has supported for 53 years. Think hard what do you really want, I went a successful club, a successful team, nd a successful manager. fighting for league titles, every cup, and winning again in Europe. Because

03 Dec 2017 16:59:06
with you sll the way Buz. can I ask, who would you like to see at the helm?

04 Dec 2017 00:11:28
Hi Duccablue, I honestly would like G. V. B but can't see it happening, so Wright would do it for me with Murty number 2 to be our future manager.

04 Dec 2017 10:27:25
I get the feeling we’d have been happier if we’d got beat 😂.

03 Dec 2017 14:44:43
Love it when a plan comes together😎😎.

03 Dec 2017 13:46:29
Willie collum is a joke, shinning should have had 4 yellow cards so far and Jack who has been outstanding gets sent off for his first offence.

03 Dec 2017 14:01:14
Aye and Windass has had more than enough fouls since his blatant cheating to be sent off! And first offence! He nearly broke the boys ankle! But once u appeal it u’ll finally have your 3 in a row eh!

03 Dec 2017 14:24:43
If its appealed and overturned for our '3 in a row' as you say, that just proves it wasnt a red card offence and also that you are wrong? Try and type more than one sentence before you contradict yourself mate.

03 Dec 2017 14:25:43
That tackle was a leg breaker and a straight red at any time of the game

03 Dec 2017 14:29:02
Watching things in slow motion as they do in replays does not tell the story it makes it seem more dramatical, and shinnie should have been off

03 Dec 2017 14:48:26
Snell what’s contradictory about saying once u appeal u will finally have 3 in a row? And if it’s right or wrong makes no difference when it comes to jack as his previous 2 appeals have proven!

03 Dec 2017 14:49:45
some amount of dhims on here the day. can't stand to see us have a successful week and have to try and stir it.

03 Dec 2017 14:59:42
Smell Stevie wonder could see that was a straight red, next you will be telling us that it was a gust of wind that knocked windyass over and he didn't dive

03 Dec 2017 15:02:45
It wasn't a tackle, Jack cleared the ball and at the point where he was following through the ball yer man put his leg in the way. It was an odd one and my initial reaction was not a red card offence because of what I've just said. However, it was as you say, a leg breaker, and for that reason, and to stop players from playing a ball in that manner, then I feel a red card was justified.

I'm not looking at it through blue specs, just from a footballing perspective, before any of you start!
My opinion may be wrong and not everyone's cup of tea but it is only an opinion.

03 Dec 2017 15:02:55
nah definitely a dive mate. can blame him for trying when he sees how easy it is for your lot to con refs

03 Dec 2017 15:19:42
If Jack wins yet another appeal dies that not show how bad our refs are, windass deservedly got a yellow for diving, if u play for celtic on the other had you get a pen, but then we can admit when we got a dodgy decision

03 Dec 2017 15:26:02
It's only a dive if there is no contact .

03 Dec 2017 15:56:37
Ballochi come on, if you genuinely think that the two penalties your lot got this week were not dives then you are of your rocker.

#obsessed

03 Dec 2017 16:11:34
86, did you HONESTLY think that that was a red? And I mean HONESTLY. I don't care what team that got that decision, I believe it was wrong, you have to be able to go into those tackles (? ) or the game is in trouble. If you really thought it was red then fine but can you explain why its red? Or is it just because you are a tim?

03 Dec 2017 17:15:05
Jyf that’s a red card all day long! May was lucky to not suffer a broken ankle! Yes jack got the ball but he went right over the top of it into a stamp! Nobody said u can’t go into tackles but not when it can seriously hurt another player! Jacks proved time and again he’s not got the temperament in games! But if you think it wasn’t a red we’ll see if your club appeals it again!

03 Dec 2017 17:18:42
exactly Jyf, they have nothing to contribute and no intention of being balanced or fair, its purely a routine of taking the piss. There are loads of great guys out there who support celtic but on here, well, you know, eh? . That wasnt even a yellow. Jack played the ball in a 50/ 50 and won it. it wasn't a two footed lunge and he had time to pull out. no card. Brown gets away with much worse every week.

03 Dec 2017 18:00:22
So he had time to pull out but didn’t as you say, so it’s a blatant red card! He won the ball and had time to pull out but chose to go over the top= red card!

03 Dec 2017 18:13:47
Ano ducca, sad is it not? 86 you said he got the ball then went over the top of it, that would be hard would it not? Just because you get hurt in a tackle does not make it a foul let alone a red. Perhaps you could watch it again and be a wee bit more balanced with your comments but I won't hold my breath.

03 Dec 2017 20:40:27
Jyf it’s hard to go over the top of a ball in a challenge! U having a laugh! your man ducca has stated he had time to pull out of it! But hey ho uve got your opinion and I’ve got mine!

04 Dec 2017 07:31:42
YES 86, a biased one, bet you love this site!

04 Dec 2017 10:25:42
Hurting are you lh? Jack was by far the best player on the park but needs to cut out the part of his game where he regularly makes shocking tackles like that. Gave the ref no option imo. The game itself showed without doubt that we are a better team than then. Brilliant tactically by Murty to play the diamond. Snuffed them out for the second time. Well pleased but Don't want GM anywhere near us. A step back in my view

04 Dec 2017 10:34:28
It was a very poor tackle and deserving of a red card. The kind of thing that Peunut Head gets away with week in week out.

03 Dec 2017 13:08:07
If we win today, then that's it for me. Our under 20 coach has outclassed our supposed saviour?

NO THANK YOU MCINNES.

03 Dec 2017 14:26:00
Would you rather he comes in after they had beat us twice? Least now he is coming in with us sitting in second.

03 Dec 2017 14:40:07
Going by his match analysis he is on another planet thinking they were tge better team. We need someone better than that

03 Dec 2017 14:53:04
He is mince!

Go away McInnes. You’re not welcome for me.

03 Dec 2017 11:23:29
@Alex32 as promised here are my bets for your game today
Aberdeen 9/ 5
penalty 9/ 4
Alves booked 11/ 10 (a stick on)
Jack booked 11/ 8 (kicks everyone)
McCrorie booked 11/ 8 (good wee player but reckless in tackle)
Shinnie booked 2/ 1 (easily wound up)
Let's have your bets now and see who does better lol.

03 Dec 2017 13:23:56
You forgot McGregor dive

03 Dec 2017 14:27:26
Did you mean windass doiger, most blatant dive you will ever see .

04 Dec 2017 10:26:48
@timalloy

Mate they were good bets you put up
Think most of them must have came in
Apart from Aberdeen winning
But seriously well played
Whats you’re bets next weekend I’m up for a punt?

03 Dec 2017 10:53:35
I hope we go with McCrorie in midfield again and perhaps give Hardie a start up front. I'm trying to imagine a midfield with McCrorie, Rossiter, Dorrans and Jack! Go for it today lads and thump the sheep again and we'll be 2nd.

03 Dec 2017 11:22:20
if they wanted mcinnes he would be in already

03 Dec 2017 14:26:00
Great determined performance from everyone today - Well done Graeme Murty - you have done the club proud - Great motivator of players and tactically aware especially against Aberdeen this, week :)

03 Dec 2017 14:32:36
Totally agree afcw191. A Good battling performance with Bates playing really well

03 Dec 2017 14:40:36
Two matches in a row with the team getting stuck in, good battling performance, great second goal, you could see what it meant to the players after the final whistle!

03 Dec 2017 16:06:45
hope we can do 3

03 Dec 2017 08:29:17
Steve Clarke or Michael o'neil both under contract both know scottish football and both with more experience than mcinnes.

02 Dec 2017 23:59:55
I don't understand the folk who are saying that McInnes has only managed 2nd with aberdeen so we will have to settle for 2nd too. What did folk actually expect him to do at Aberdeen versus the money Celtic have been bringing in over recent years? He worked well on a small budget so hopefully with a bigger one at us he will work even better.

03 Dec 2017 01:40:18
Before Aberdeen he has managed st Johnston and Bristol city that's all. we are trying to get a team together to challenge Celtic we need a manager who has won things who knows how to deal with big clubs and used to winning he is not the right man. I live in Glasgow but I'm from bristol originally and the city fans are taking the piss about us getting him and tbh we should be setting are heights higher than him.

04 Dec 2017 10:22:28
Big Eck had no experience of managing a big club until he came to us either.

02 Dec 2017 23:56:48
I know it's a rumours site but I can't see anyone getting the job other than Derek McInnes at this stage, yet there still appears to be plenty James still getting branded about today

Here's why I think it's Derek McInnes

We are advised we will have a Manager early next week, it appears of coincendence after Sunday's game against Aberdeen

Also, there was clarification that we are taking a Manager already in a job and one that is affordable at that, another reason I reckon we are in for him

Now this is a Rangers man that knows all about the club inside out and he has a decent proven track record putting all this into consideration it can therefore only be him

Do I reckon he will be successful I guess only time will tell but I will tell you he will steady the ship and will consolidate 2nd place and hopefully get us to the latter stages of Europa This will be fine over 1-2 years but we will then need someone that can go that step further by winning the league! I don't want to speak to soon but I don't think Derek McInnes can win us the league if I'm honest!

03 Dec 2017 01:03:48
Here's a thought. I know some people were horrified at the prospect last time it came up but Michael O'Neill is under contract and has Scottish experience. They did get an Oranjeman in to stop 10in a row! 🤔

Keep Believing

03 Dec 2017 01:19:13
Here's a thought. Michael O'Neill is under contract and has Scottish experience. Tommy Wright as no2😝

Keep Believing

03 Dec 2017 01:28:29
If we had somebody at the start of the season that steadied the ship and never dropped or lost stupid points then we would be a hell of a lot closer to them now, we lost against hamilton and dundee and threw points away continuously, i think he'll definitely get us closer to winning something and i also think he could bring a title back if he can get rid of the laziness and bring a bit of fear into the players
