Just been on Arsenal site Wanyama off for 9mill how are we to compeat with that im sick Blue Boy

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Maybe when we get back to the SPL we will get some decent scouts in Celtic are a well run Club who buy players cheap and sell them on at a good price its common knowledge we will need to spend to ever be back at the top but MUST be within our means!

Larky Bear

Agree3 Disagree0

Spot on larky bear, the only way for celtic and rangers to compete at a european level is to make money from player sales, the other positive is getting to see these players develop. We will never buy messi but hopefully we could find and produce the next one

Green has buckled and submitted to all demands from SFA and SPL to secure a license transfer to his new club.
Title stripping imminent.

Believable13 Unbelievable16

Your talking rubbish, maybe even another celtic fan trying to start trouble. Green knows if he gives up on our titles he's a goner.

Agree17 Disagree6

And how exactly will he stop this ? If they say its done its done. How does he prevent it ?
I'm keen to know.

Agree10 Disagree9

Every bluenose knows it's Lawless/Celtic that want our titles taken from us and sporting integrity has nothing to do with it, just a jealous hatred. If Rangers didn't put up a fight by protesting, challenging and appealing at every opportunity available, then all would be lost. Keep up the good work Mr Green and super Ally.

If the money was a loan to buy the club whom was he loaning too? I very much doubt the deal would have gone through if it was only a loan with little chance of success. Rangers would not have been allowed to start again and run up more debts.
More scare mongering I'm afraid, what he did say is that he would only stick around for a short time and I'm sure he would like to recoup what he paid for it at least and if he can make a profit good luck to him {Ed001's Note - it only depends on the term of the loan, most businesses start up with the help of a loan.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Well if you cant afford to repay it call craig whyte he will help

So much for the other clubs so called fans saying we won't have any support in Div3.
Having to queue for hours for East Fife tickets, as well as 12000 NEW season ticket enquiries, never mind renewals.
Just shows maybe the other so called fans wouldn't be as loyal as the bears in tough times.

Believable13 Unbelievable9

Let's look at this realistically though. 12000 season tickets is what percentage of last year's season ticket sales?

Agree4 Disagree2

The only reason season tickets are being bought is because they're half price, all the tight ex armchair fans are snapping them up. Where were they when ST's were £500 a shot, and your former club were winning titles dis-honestly......Stevie

Agree5 Disagree12

1.) Read the post again. He said 12000 NEW season ticket enquiries. Not sales.

Agree5 Disagree2

It's 12000 NEW season ticket enquiries, not renewals, there is about double that amount in renewals that could still come.

first game ever as newco and five arrest for sectarian singing against breachin somethings will never change but smaller grounds means easy pickings

Believable18 Unbelievable14

Sure does, and I would've thought that the Newco support would have realised this, but they didn't. To be honest it was easy to hear on the TV last week. No sympathy however, none whatsoever.

Agree8 Disagree5

@1. Don't condone the singing as it will never be eradicated, all we can do is keep on top of it and keep it to a minimum, but it's not your concern, concentrate if your bunch of duffers are going to win an away leg and get through the next round of the qualifiers.

Agree2 Disagree0

I suspect the sectarian singing will end soon. It won't happen at Ibrox and I hope the other grounds are too small to hide them. We should also highlight the fighting that broke out in Dundee united European match. Not a good advert either for Scottish football.

I know the guy at the tickets office and he told me that rangers have made over 3 million on season tickets

Believable11 Unbelievable14

Is any one having problems accessing rangers web site im looking to order tickets but cant get on site?

Agree0 Disagree2

How much a season ticket?

Agree0 Disagree0

So by my calculations you've sold 12,000 season tickets, not very loyal considering Season tickets are half price this season....Stevie

Agree2 Disagree12

Stevie...our season tickets might be half price which is fair for a big club in the 3rd div. but yours, without Rangers, is vastly overpriced for the spl. Cut to the chase your fans are being fleeced. Geo

I think we need at least ten more players. We have I believe lost 21 players with Edu, Boca to go also. We have signed three or four. We need to remember that can't sign anyone until Jan 2014. That is a long time and with a few injuries we may struggle to put out a team.

Believable13 Unbelievable5

Rather than dish out more seven grand a week contracts why not get a team together to play in the new Scottish Under 20s League. As far as I can tell we're not taking part in it and it really annoys me as this is exactly what we should be doing.

BARNEY BEAR

Agree3 Disagree4

Ffs get it into your deluded heads your playing in the Scottish 3rd and by the time you can sign anyone else you"ll only be in Scottish 2nd (poss SPL 2)why the need to sign more players , paying players 7 grand a week in Scottish 3rd is lunacy....Stevie

Agree3 Disagree3

To be honest i thought giving out 7k a week was lunacy to, but if u think on it green always said he would make money by selling players. So maybe he is going to play them for the season then sell them at a profit. I dont know how much these players are valued at but if u got half a million for a player at the end of the season u are quids in even after wages.

ive seen quite of people saying were in debt, we are not in debt we are a complete new club with a new finacial footing we will have more money than celtic by the end of this season. ed why post things saying were in adimistration when were not! {Ed001's Note - you are in debt, to your owners. You obviously don't understand the financial side of things, just because you are new, it does not mean you are debt free!}

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Debt free??your deluded m8,also the dark clouds that are ticketus& a certain craig whyte will reamerge just soon!Your bang on the money when stating your a new club, but the financial short fall will be exposed also, the rangers will be lucky too make it too xmas, unless a large amount off cash flow is pumped in from some new consortium,as the share issue is designed too generate a quick buck for the slime ball greene!!The sooner BDO Step in the better& expose the lies& corruption, did you know duff& duffer stated the bill for catering during the time staff& players where on holiday, amounted too over £900,000!!jail time for a good few shysters is a must!!stevo

Agree9 Disagree1

Wake up and smell the coffee. In Greens prospectus for the new club it clearly states that the 5.5 million to purchase assets is a loan.Every expense not covered by season ticket sales or any other income stream is a loan from Greens investors. It is ridiculous how many fans are swallowing this mans nonsense, after Whyte you might have thought lessons were learned

I really do hope you manage to keep all the players you have at present and sign all the ones you are after as this will push your running costs through the roof ....even at £3000 a week is £150000 per year and times 10 is £1.5m on only 10 wages plus what the tupe wages are and of course backroom staff...Admin 2 ..( the final reckoning) could be sooner than you think...but another record for you " First Div 3 club to go into admin....JohnnyG

Shameful scenes at tannadice, never in my time was there anything like that at Ibrox, hope UEFA ban Utd can't have that at football.

Believable26 Unbelievable13

You not remember the fighting at aberdeen a couple of years ago then?

Agree6 Disagree3

Indeed we cant. Still, at least it didnt spill into the streets.

Agree2 Disagree1

Op - Agree there, shocking 2 stewards for 100 away fans, what a joke. Anyway the ban wont take effect until next season cos they are out after that result.

Agree0 Disagree1

The trouble was worse last year when Polish fans went on the rampage.

Anyway after Manchester I suppose we can't complain about anybody.

Agree3 Disagree0

2.) United should be hammered for lack of stewards , like Rangers were when the idiot celtic fan chained himself to the goal post a couple of years ago !

Agree2 Disagree1

Why ban them it was the traveling fans that started it all was it not. Stop being so bitter

Agree3 Disagree3

No, your lot just trash cities .. If you'd been at the game or watched the footage/images, you'd have seen the Russian fans climbing into the upper tier and setting about United fans. I was literally 20 yards away, scary stuff. That said I expect United to get hammered from Fifa, even though the Police were slow to act it's our responsiblity to keep the fans apart. Russian fans cause problem where ever they go.

Good to see posts like this from your bitter support. Any port in a storm though ay!

£7K a week contracts over 4 years amount to £1,456,000.00, Green is handing these out willy nilly! WE CANT AFFORD THEM!
Wage bill is till about £1,25M a MONTH with all the admin staff etc!
We'll rue this, we really will!

Believable14 Unbelievable7

Mate we just got 800k for davis so that can cover the wages of the new players just chill mate everything will work out in the end

Agree5 Disagree8

I agree. This is out of control. If I was cynical I would say that this looks like a deliberate case of mismanagement in order to dissolve new club and claim the fixed assets. The EastEnders claims that a Tesco could be opening in Govan may not be wide of the mark. Beware this management team. All is not Rosy in the Ibrox Garden. Lots more to come out on the whole fiasco.

Agree11 Disagree2

Oh thank god, a sensible bear, you are right buddy, you can't afford this. a journo last week said '' why are rangers taking a gun to a knife fight'' with the squad you are building , you will win every game by 6 or 7 goals . i said this i think on the 21st of july. paul mcconville says you will need 55,000 home crowds just to survive , i don't understand why green / mccoist are doing this . it doesn't make any sense.. shamrock

Agree8 Disagree3

Totally agree mate,
it's complete madness and careless to throw this kind of money around especially just to get out of the 3 rd division, rangers are paying well over the top in salaries for average players at best...ian black £7000 a week??

ian

Agree8 Disagree1

This post seems to be a reapter as I have read a number of these. The bottom line is we can afford these contracts as the big earners on 25k plus all did runners to protect their "careers".With their wages costing a combined 150k plus per week it does not need a degree in maths to work out that we could sign 10 players on £7k a week and still be running at under half the previous wage bill.If the fans stick by the club as seems to be happening and we match season ticket sales from previous seasons and with good corparate management in dealing with sponsors and retail add ons it is not long before you see Mr Green is no a stupid wee boy but indeed a money maker who will leave with a profit in his hip-and a club saved which is fine by me as the club being saved was the important part for me, who makes money is of no concern as long as they keep a decent product on the park and take us back to the top where we belong.WATP.

Agree4 Disagree9

I think Charles Green is in a better position than you to decide what Rangers can and can't afford.

Agree6 Disagree3

We never got anything for davis as the epl told southampton not to pay it why do people come on here and lie ??

Agree4 Disagree3

@1: that money might go to the oldco as Davis didn't transfer to newco.

Agree2 Disagree0

Poster 5; you are forgetting you were running a £10 million loss.So the players who left are pretty small fry compared to that.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 and Paul McConville is a solicitor who can't do any soliciting.

Agree1 Disagree0

@7 didn't the EPL pay the money to the SFA as at the time we didn't have a licence and there was confusion as to who would be owed the monies to as in Rangers plc or Rangers ltd ?

RANGERS have given Atletico Madrid winger Elliot Kebbie the chance to win a move to Ibrox.
The English youngster has arrived at Auchenhowie so manager Ally McCoist can take a closer look at him.

Kebbie came through the ranks at Leeds United before the Spanish side paid compensation to lure him from Elland Road.

The jet-heeled 17-year-old trained with the Light Blues along with Greek midfielder Pantelis Kafes yesterday. Kafes, 34, is set to pen a cut-price deal for the season.

The former Olympiacos midfielder, who has 40 caps, is a free agent after leaving AEK Athens.

McCoist is hoping Craig Beattie will sign and there is also a possibility that fellow striker Kevin Kyle could also be dealt in.

However, more departures are likely, with midfielder Maurice Edu already confirming he wants to leave.

Uuuhm. Can anyone explain to me where the money is coming from to first of all aquire these players (if they are not on a free) and secondly to pay them a wage which is at least a decent percentage of what they are used to. Where is the beef? Why on earth would these players want to play in Div 3 in Scotland? Unless there were extremely good financial incentives which we can not afford unless some major investment comes along. Can not just run the club on season ticket sales. Looks like the same old, same old story. Living beyond our means.

Believable24 Unbelievable15

Please dont just clcik disagree, it was heads in the sand and no accountability that got us into this mess. Please reply and explain where you think the money is coming from? How is the club being financed. Seems to me that we are upfronting money to pay immediate bills and debts. No true investment.

Agree20 Disagree10

I've thought long and hard about this and no, I can't explain.

Why we need players that are being paid around seven grand a week to beat part timers that are sometimes on less than a hundred makes no sense to me and although I've just committed to a season ticket I still have nagging doubts about Charle's Green's intentions in agreeing to fund this.

BARNEY BEAR

Agree12 Disagree1

How do you know we can't afford them think you will find out through time that there was more money available than all the sinics would have you believe

Agree4 Disagree11

King was right we need short term high investment to get back through the leagues , money im kinda hoping green will put an investment in then sell in spl or div 1 and get a good profit from it. remember as well embargo for next season so we are literally buying for two full seasons.
craig+babybear

Agree7 Disagree3

@o/p Steve Davies wages alone would have been in the range of £30000 per week so going on the assumption we will be paying £4-£5 grand a week this allows us to get six players for price of one players wages while reducing wage structure by 75% ie Shagger Naismith Whiteker alone.Once you add up rest of squad who have left plenty savings.

Agree12 Disagree6

Players that have left were on mega bucks compared to signings most of them no fee involved also look to the three americans and broadfoot moving on and beeing replaced with cheaper options green is a canny player in finance unlike his predecessor white bb blue

Agree8 Disagree2

Green and McCoist are telling them that they will be in a restructured SPL next season. Has been widely reported that Beatty was told this and hasn't signed because him and his agent want to see proof of what Green/McCoist are telling him about a restructured league.

These are guys we are signing we would normally not touch with a barge pole, but the end justifies the means. I bet there is an escape clause in their contracts if we are in D2 or D3 next season - that will mean another exodus of players next summer and no way of replacing them because of the embargo. If that happens we will be stuffed in 2013/14 season and it potentially could be a relegation battle never mind a promotion battle. Rocky times ahead fellow Bears.

Agree5 Disagree6

The reality is that Mr Green has refused to disclose how much are in the coffers.

However, one the factors in obtaining SFA membership is an appropriate business plan. The question is, what financial assumptions have been made to properly run the club? Number of season tickets? Share issue? etc.

I'm surprised that the supporters clubs haven't got together to request this information.

Agree3 Disagree0

Unless Green has no plans to pay these players at all and is just picking up high profile frees to encourage ticket sales before he liquidates the company and leaves with all the ticket money and assets.

He would'nt would he?

Agree4 Disagree2

"find out through time that there was more money available than all the sinics would have you believe" - money from where? what land are you living in? Green is not stumping up anything, go on, ask him. You dont get a response about finance from him. The revenue stream for current spending is us!! Thru Season tickets and gate money. Do simple sums, add up the wage bill, add up the cost of operating a very large stadium and training facilities, add up the add ons. keep adding and the subtract the season ticket money, you will get a negative number. ie in the red again for the privilege of blacing tier 4 football. NO sense in this plan whatsoever. I sthe club being run by charlatans? I think we know the answer to that.

Agree0 Disagree3

Next seasons ST money will probably be included in the calculations because of the transfer embargo.

Agree0 Disagree0

We couldnt pay or taxes whenpalyers were on £30,000 etc and when they took a 50%wage cut we still ran at a loss ? We are currently paying all the players who stayed their full money as per their contracts plus the new signings who all seem to be getting around £7to £10 thousand. I would assume Ally and backroom staff still on same money as per conracts and i would think the Directors are taking a good sum also? Where is the money coming from? if its all based on our season tickets ? then we are going to be in negative equaty very shortly and this time we will be gone .

Agree1 Disagree1

Ehhh Bye Gum. Thaus can tek a Yorshireman by `is word. Tis a sad state of affairs when ye cannae trust a Yorkie.
Fools - He will be off back to Bradford on his toes with your season ticket cash neatly tucked under his flat cap. Eeeh, suppin pints in Bradford wi honorary Bradfordian/Yorkshireman Mr George Galloway. "Eeh, George, ahhv wound up The Rangers and Gubbed all fans cash, sellin t`assets next!"
"Well done Charles!, Respect to ye"

Agree2 Disagree1

Picks them up for free and sells on via his new SEVCO shareholder agents at a profit and commission for the Sevco agents. Season tickets cover their salaries in the short term.

Canny investment by all concerned with no outlay as any money going in to the club from the investors is an interest earning loan that will be repaid within a year.

12000 season books sold before the forms went out. If we can get 20000 to 25000 plus some regular ticket sales, we'll have a gate of 30000 regularly once the initial enthusiasm wears off.

See the problem is aswell fellow bears, akit if these players we are signing will be binned when we get back to the SPL and start signing better players again, so the like of Kafes who to be will be looking for a happy wee easy retirement which he will get if he joins will be good for just now, i think jennings is unrealistic as his team are short enough already, we still need around 10 players, Bedoya aswell he must be absolutely terrible if hes not even going to get a look in in DIV 3, i dont blame Edu for leaving least he came back and done the professional thing, he deserves to play at a good level would be brilliant at most mid level prem teams, i heard a strong rumours we are going to ask blackburn to take goodwillie on loan and were going to offer riorden a contract along with beattie and resign david healy, i read somewhere aswell we were meant to be getting mark reynoulds from shef wed but that has not materialised, any thoughts gers?

3 letters B D O..when they liquidate rangers fc 140years of history ends& this year will be the 1st year of the rangers fc,s history,so there will be no 141st year..simples!!stevo

Believable21 Unbelievable35

That's 100% absolutely correct Stevo, everyone knows that. It only appears to be a few bears that remain in denial most now, particularly the educated, intelligent bears have accepted the loss of history. The ridiculous story about a company being liquidated but a football club continuing is gradually being abandoned for honesty and acceptance. Well done bears, you're getting there.

Agree24 Disagree29

If they lose their history their shouldnt be any more sanctions for rangers then as a newco this is what i have read everywhere.spl are saying u can keep your history and still have sanctions

Agree12 Disagree8

You wish Timmy.....now stroll onto your own site and talk about the possibility of the Smeltic being gubbed by Finnish minnows
Doesn't matter what company own's Rangers....always has been Rangers....always will be.....much to your (and many others) disappointment
World record holders.....more trophies won than any other club....including your paranoid bunch

Agree18 Disagree20

Stevo you crack me up you muppet no true rangers fan believes we are any different from what we have always been so stop trying to tell us different now I know it must hurt you that we are still here and that we are still the most successful club in Scotland. See I will make it easy for you to understand if you go along to our fabulous stadium and take a wee stroll through our trophy room then all they titles and cups are still there and in 50 years if we have won another 20 then they will be beside all the ones that are already there so keep fooling yourself Steve but you ain't fooling us

Agree8 Disagree7

What a deluded lot, RFC are dead, but they keep their history. Sevco can't claim to have won anything. Sevco haven't got to a cup final or won a league title. The best result in Sevco's history is beating Brechin City after extra time.

And incidentally the 3rd poster is right, no sanctions for Sevco, They should not get transfer ban or fine. RFC can be investigated for Dual Contracts from 2000-2011, but that won't affect Sevco.

If there is no history why do we pay old rangers fines , why do we accept proposed EBT sanctions and why do we have transfer embargo? This was not the doing of so called newco Rangers. Cannot accept all these and have no history and if we accept all these why have we not received last years runners up money £1.2million cannot continue to have it all one way. Time to fight back

Once again double standards

we either keep our history and accept sanctions - which seem to be the case
or we are a new club with no history - therefore no sanctions

can you bhhoys not make your bloody mind up?

Totally agree no sanctions should apply too the new club,as they have done no wrong, the enquiry regarding unregistered players will go against the oldco i,e cups removed or whatever, but should just be that removed, not gave too other clubs, stevo

If it is an entirely new company with no history then why pay football debts of another company? By agreeing to the sanctions the history will continue.

Well I see those few remaining deluded Bears are all in here, so few so deluded.
Incorporated football club 1899 is being liquidated SPL share handed over to Dundee today (so is Dundee the new Rangers? They've got the share transfer!)......the rangers incorporated 2012, a brand new footballing club. No footballing history to play in Europe.

We are paying fines and football debt becuase NEWCO wanted a quick way into the league and agreed to everything stipulated to get there. We effectivly jumped the line and leap-frogged others by taking OLDCO's football debts. The non league football clubs didnt get that option(thankfully) or they woudld have done same and used OLDCO liscence for a small amount of money really. Cant but wonder why a lot of our fans are moaning about this ? pay some debt and that saves you from being out of football for 3 years while waiting to get accounts etc? wise up please and that includes being viglant to what Green etc are upto.

The new club is burdening punishments of old club to get SFA membership only. This allows us to play in div3 with zero accounts when we need three years accounts.
This doesn't mean we are the same club with the same history.
It's an entrance requirement.

Look i will explain too the blinkerd in simple terms,if i bought brad pitts clothes&bought his house, would that make me brad pitt?lmao,no matter how yous dress it up rfc are dead when liquidation starts, the new time line begins, yes no sanctions should apply too your brand new club, but the oldco & there owners& charlatans will be exposed& prosecuted thru time& any wrong doings regarding dual contracts, will result in titles, cups being removed from the history books..also if yous want the old history intact,do you think in your deluded minds greene would except it,with all the debt thats still in excess off tens of millions& whatever HMRC,s decsion is?spare a thought for the poor creditors who have went bust due too murrays& whytes theft..stevo
