This takeover deal is about to collapse, Whyte has declared openly that he won't be held financialy responsible for any tax bill that has been accrued by any previous owners (i.e.) Murray. Lets be totally honest here, would you invest big money into any commodity, that had an undeclared financial penalty hanging over it, I know I certainly wouldn't. Whyte might be a Rangers fan, but does he support the club the way a real supporter does? Apart from his fleeting appearances recently, when was the last time he went to support this or any other Rangers team. First and foremost, he is a venture capitalist, he is out to make money, he isn't there to throw any unwanted money Rangers way, simply to pull them out of this financial mess. Also ask yourself, why does he include people like Ellis in his takeover deal, if he has that much love and interest in Rangers, after all Ellis has already been shown the door before in his failed plan to buy Rangers. Whyte's maximum declaration, was to invest £5m per year, over 5 years, please ask yourself, what would £5m buy us in players, bearing in mind that any new players wages would have to come out of this £5m pot too. Believe me, the future is far from bright over Ibrox way.
