Just a thot whilst commentry on @ a t break,
The only way for fans of any club to be taken seriously is to stop buying season tickets as when things we dont like happen at presant if we say not going the chairman does not care as majority of tickets are sold beforehand,
If didnt purchase season tickets like old days pay at gate then chairmen would have to take fans serious to get you going,
All clubs take mick out of fans time to get power back,
If it ok for players to demand wages y do all fans not demand a fee to turn up,

Guy's, I'm posting this to stimulate a debate.

Following the Channel 4 News story last night, who has done the most damage to the club?

SDM, PM, AJ, DK, CO, MB, JG & please don't let WS be involved + Others. Did some of these guy's know what was coming and jumped ship to try and save face? Did Craig Whyte, remove some of these guy's for the right reason's?

Or - Craig Whyte, If you think about all the interviews that he's done, he has always said "that anything I've done, I've only done with Rangers interest at Heart"

If I recall correctly, in one interview he mentioned - Let the process take it's course and the truth will come out.

Does he have a genuine reason for not wanting to sell his shares to Paul Murray?

I'm not saying that CW is by any means an angel in all this, but now that it's a bit clearer... where do your thought's sit now?

I'm afraid it looks like they all were complicit. I don't see how WS could have been there and not known. They seemed all to have smelt a rat but were happy to stay for as long as the money (tax free) kept flowing. As soon as it dried up - rats and sinking ships. Leaving the average joe employees to carry the can. Shameful. You never think people could stoop so low for money. We the fans gave and they had their snouts in the trough - can you believe 'I will have another 100k ' for investment ffs. For the fans - disgusting. I think you have to leave this firmly at the door of MB, SDM, and whoever MIH'S advisors were.
It's been alleged that RFC paid MIH £6million a year to handle the tax side of things. MB was the chief executive of the club,and according to channel 4,wrote the alleged letters,so he appears to be right at the heart of this. I think JG is getting a bit of a rough ride with this, because as RFC have stated the payments were "discretionary" and someone had to sign them off,who MB SDM? You would think that MIH/SDM would have put a halt to the payments IF they had their finger on the pulse. So there's also a financial mismanagement case to be answered here too. Not just with HMRC etc, but as a sense of duty to the club's wellbeing. MB was the club's representative and the main link in dealing with MIH. SDM you would imagine as chairman of RFC and MIH would have to have known about any transactions. So to me, MB&SDM's position looks undefendable. Even if they get away with hmrc/ebt, they have totally mismanaged the club's finances, and have to be held accountable for that at the very least. I personally don't want anyone from the old board,bar AJ and PM back anywhere near Ibrox,if we survive. Stevie-A-Bear

This sorry mess is deteriorating daily. The majority of Rangers fans are people
who get up go to work (sometimes on very poor wages) do a days work, buy their season tickets and club shirts etc and look forward to their football games. On the other side we have scumbag directors who take take take put nothing into the club. They sit in the stand like kings looking down on us poor wee supporters and laugh all the way to the bank and their posh cars and houses. I am sick to the pit of my stomach.What can we do ???

Remember this folks. EBTs were legal until 2011. Ad hoc payments (loans) were legal, above board, and operated by large companies and the self employed up and down the country for years. Only if the payments were written into a contract, or formed part of a second contract, do they become tax evasion (ie illegal). It's the second contract, or letter of comfort stating the loans didn't need to be paid back, that is the issue. We either did no wrong, or made a HUGE admin error and are about to pay for it. SG
