I think we sack Ally and bring in Billy Davies stranger things have happened. We should sell/release Black, Monshi, Hutton, Foster, Simonsen, Robinson and Smith inside the next year. Then bring in a Goalkeeper to compete with Bell, a first choice RB (who is decent), a good centre back with Zaliukas, McGregor and actually give Gasparotto a chance along with other young players. 2 Centre Midfielders, a winger and striker also.

{Ed039's Note - Are you on the football manager?)

31 Aug 2014 20:01:05
You may say why should he? But why doesn't Dave King help out with paying the money to the creditors if he is still in the background waiting to inject money to the team?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Because he wants control and the current regime out before he does anything, if he infact does want to do anything at all)

Op - you've been away then and don't know which planet this is??

Why doesn't King do that if he wants control? If we don't survive there's nothing to take over and it would show trust that he can work with the board and help them out, or is it what we already guessed, he doesn't want anything to do with the board and vice versa?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - The board would reluctantly accept his money, but months too late, King wants nothing to do with the current board)

This is really killing me. Another week another story of how rangers need this much money or the board are doing this or that. I maybe can't support the team like some of you, living here in orkney it just isn't possible. but that doesn't mean I care any less. every weekend i'm keeping me eye on the scores watching when possible. but how much more can we physically take. lesser fans at lesser clubs would not be caring anymore.
ive spoken to fans of other clubs who have even had to admit that the rangers fans have been something else for the last 2 year.
but how much more can we take?
because this is bloody ridiculous

Good post we have supporters from all over the world and here in Scotland feeling just like you, all we can do is keep the faith and do what we can, but it's a shambles and the footballs not exactly entertaining either poor display first half yesterday but we got away with it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but I completely disagree, we claim to be the best supporters in the world but watched our club enter admin, and even to this day still watching our club struggle. A lot of bears expect millionaires to come in and throw money, or believe rangers will never close.
We need to learn from fans like Portsmouth, fc united of Manchester, fc Wimbledon, even hearts. I believe that this club needs a complete overhaul from board to manager.

My final thought would be the Uof starting a fund for rangers fans to donate to. We the fans should and need to own the most shares as we love this club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there not already a couple of fans funds. The one that is set up similar to Hearts is Rangers First Community Ownership and they offer monthly membership of either £5, £10, £18. 72 or a one off payment of £500. The problem for me is that there is more fund and so many supporter groups. They should all be amalgamated in to one fund or the other so that we can all get behind the one body and pull in the same direction. Having several different options and various groups (SOS, UOF etc) is not helping. We can achieve so much more united and it suits the board that we are not. The old adage 'Divide and Conquer' springs to mind. I'm joining the afore mentioned fund but would be happy to join whatever group the majority decided as long as we stuck together.

@2, behave, you might want to risk your cash with the self promoted UOF, but I would certainly not. They have this belief that only them or D King has any right to run this great club. The likes have chased previous possible investors (remember the cr.p that the American had to stand). They have created this image that them and only them represent rangers supporters, and I have no doubt they would object to any investor other than D King.

Question to all- Can the SFA withdraw our licence, sighting our inability to our bills and wages. If the share issue is not successful.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

31 Aug 2014 11:15:10
Surely the first step would just be to ban player registrations? That's what happened to Hearts when they were serial offenders at late wage payments.

I can't see the license being suspended unless there is an administration and the adminstrator pulls the plug.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op mullad the sfa should be doing all they can to help our club but they do the exact opposite imho

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should the SFA help us? We do not seem to have done much as a club to help ourselves.

The crazy signings that have been made. The wage bill must be astronomical compared to every other club with the exception of that team in the East end of Glasgow.

Nothing has been learned, crazy spending no youth policy no scouting no nothing ultimately there will be no club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Diamond the clowns running rangers have done nowt to help the club bar pillerge and rob the club of millions

Agree0 Disagree0

Diamond the sfa should have helped first time like they did hearts and prevented our liquidation like they did hearts

Agree0 Disagree0

@5: What exactly do you think the SFA should have done and what did they actually do to help Hearts?
You are typical of the current blame culture; blame anybody (or should that be everybody) bar the club. What did you do to try to save the club? Sit back on your backside with a keyboard demanding that rich fans should ride to the rescue, perhaps?

Styab as soon as craig shyte got involve [a known tax avoider ] then he got charlieboy involved [we were told of charlieboys past ]thats when I said as a season ticket holder of 40 years that I was not going near ibrox again if you were willing to contribute to there pension funds well goody for you I was not I stand by my dissition

Agree0 Disagree0

Styab what the sfa should have done was prevented our religation until these fantasist that said we done wrong were either proven right or wrong and as we've seen after two court cases we have done nowt wrong

Do any of you guys think that as fans by holding up a red card and singing sack the board will make a difference they're all in it together and they won't sack each other.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bongo we have got to let these board members know we are protesting what do you sugest we do get them a pat rise lol

Agree0 Disagree0

The cards and the songs won't make a difference. But a stadium which is only 2/3 full will. Starve them of the money and they'll finally have to go cap in hand to Dave King. I can't beleive Easedales and Co would see the club go back into Administration and lose the money they've paid for shares without a desperate attempt to sell out.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm all for showing them how we feel guys and I'm pretty sure they know how we feel if some of the board were with us it could make a difference but they'll all just sit tight in there offices bleeding us dry!

Agree0 Disagree0

They won't lose money they paid for shares as they will just sell Ibrox, mp etc close the company down and walk away with bank books bulging the only way to get rid is make them an offer and buy them out .

@2. But you have to remember that the shares the Easdales have are in RIFC and that has a £16m (in June 2013) call on TRFC assets. They are in no real danger of losing all their money if the club go into Admin. The club, though, could easily lose the assets.

@ tmwtn we bit of a contradiction there mate as further down the page u say your posts have always been the same & u will only be back once the conmen have gone so how can u sing the songs and protest with the other fans if your not there
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf I have not been near ibrox nor have I been to any away days the people that hold the cards up and sing sack the board are protesting in this way my protest has been to boycott everything to do with the club at this moment in time and as a suporter for ver near 50 years it busts my chops I said from day one I wouldn't be back and my word is my bond I ain't been back

Agree0 Disagree0

All above I've just watched an audio on the sos page why don't yous listen then see how your views change on these pure conmen after this is brought to light I expect a few doors to go in as previous charlieboy ammed stockbridge thm all trying to decide what they will do with rangers next then come back and tell me I am wrong
